Glamour Magazine hosted their annual Women of the Year Awards this past Monday night (Nov 7) in New York City.

The red carpet of the star-studded event, which recognizes ladies of all ages for their efforts to make the world better for women, featured appearances from lots of famous women, including this month’s cover girl Jennifer Lopez, actresses Kerry Washington, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston, comedian Chelsea Handler, TV personality Wendy Williams, and more.

Other women who posed on the red carpet were Lala Anthony, fashion designers Donatella Versace and Rachel Roy, “Glee” actress Lea Michele and movie star Emma Stone, among several other notable ladies.

After allegedly putting his foot in his mouth in a recent printed magazine publication, it looks like actor Brad Pitt is trying to redeem himself by asking people to be nice to his famous ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.

Since making what some would call an inappropriate comment about their marriage, when Brad appeared on the “Today Show” this week he told host Matt Lauer, “I don’t want people to say anything bad like that about Jen. She’s a dear friend of mine.”

The father of six told Matt Lauer all he was trying to say in the now infamous interview was that “the best thing I’d done as a father is be sure that my kids have a good mother.”

In the interview that sparked this whole Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie/Jennifer Aniston debacle, Brad was quoted as saying:

“I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

Now he’s taking time out to clarify himself, explaining to Lauer, “I think it’s a shame that I can’t say something nice about Angie without Jen being drug in. She doesn’t deserve it.”

Sounds like Brad Pitt needs to figure out better ways to compliment his new lover without throwing his old one under the bus. Just a thought…

The recent story to emerge is from a former Israeli intelligence officer turned Hollywood mogul who claims to have watched the infamous break-up evolve from it’s infancy.

In his upcoming book “Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon, “Arnon Milchan dishes on Jennifer’s reaction when Brad disclosed that he had fallen for Angelina.

Arnon Milchan, a former Israeli intelligence officer and producer of “Mr and Mrs Smith” starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — Jennifer Aniston kicked Pitt out of their Beverley Hills home when he confessed he was in love with Jolie.

Milchan told authors Meir Doran and Joseph Gelman, while Aniston didn’t believe the rumors at first, she eventually confronted Pitt about Jolie and he denied anything was going on.
According to the book, Milchan claims that Pitt stayed with him for the duration of the filming, and took steps to ensure no one recognized him when he arrived on set via motorcycle.

Jennifer Aniston isn’t the biggest fan of dating….

In a recent interview with U.K.’s Red magazine, the 42-year-old actress opened about her current non-existing love life.

“I’m not a big fan of dating. I have dinner with male friends and it’s instantly, ‘that’s the new man,” she says in her cover story for the magazine’s May 2011 issue.

Instead, Aniston is more focused on what she loves to do most …. and that’s entertaining others.

“Knowing that I get to do what I love to do, which is entertain. It’s essential to me. The real core of everything is the work, and I will protect it – and myself – like a momma lion protects a cub,” she says.

But when it comes to fame … she isn’t so protective.

“Fame is an odd beast. Because it’s not real, “Jennifer continues. “There’s nothing real about it. Sometimes you wake up and think, ‘I don’t know if I’m as big as this beast. Will today be the day when it gets me?’ Because you’re only one person like everybody else, with veins and a heart,” she said, “and yet you’re projected as almost superhuman.”

The film is about a single man and woman (played by Sandler and Aniston) pretending to be a married couple. In the movie, Adam Sandler’s character (a plastic surgeon) uses a “fake” wedding ring to pick up women and avoid commitment, while Jennifer Aniston’s character is his friend (and his office manager) who pretends to be his wife to help him reel in one woman in particular (played by Brooklyn Decker).

Jen was talking with Regis’ co-host Kristen Cruz about her recent Barbra Streisand photo shoot for Harper Bazzar when she mistakenly blurted out the highly controverisal word “retard.”

“That’s so kind of you. Well, we had this board where we pinned up all these photographs of her, these sort of iconic ones and basically, you did it. You just copied,” Jen explained on the show. “And we had all these fun wigs and that funny girl so it was just fun. I play dress up. I do it for a living, like a retard, but…”

Well..the Special Olympics organization didn’t take Aniston’s choice of words all that kindly and are attacking back!

“Special Olympics is always disappointed when the R-word is used, especially by someone who is influential to society. The pervasive use of the R-word, even in an off-the-cuff self-deprecating manner, dehumanizes people with intellectual disabilities and perpetuates painful stereotypes that are a great source of suffering and negative stigma.”

The CEO of the Arc, a nonprofit advocate for people with intellectual and developmental, also lashed out at the actress’ language on the show.

“Frankly, someone in her position ought to know better,” Peter Bern said in a statement (via E! News). “She is using language that is offensive to a large segment of the population in this country… Every time folks hear that word, it kind of reminds them of all the discrimination and oppression they’ve experienced in their lives. Even if it wasn’t intended to insult them, that is the effect of it.”

Looks like Jennifer Aniston’s gotten herself in a whole heap of trouble for that 6-letter word! But hey, that’s what you pay PR people for, right? Peep the video footage below:

Actress Jennifer Aniston has filed for a restraining order against a man who was recently arrested for creeping around her Hollywood Hills home with a sharp object and duct tape. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Jason Peyton was found on July 15, “laying-in-wait in a location he believes she frequents with a ‘sharp object, a bag, a roll of duct tape and written messages about [Aniston].”

In the documents, Aniston’s lawyer also states that the alleged stalker spent a total of 8 days trying to find Jenny and once taken into custody by police, carved messages saying: “I LOVE JENNIFER ANISTON” were found etched into the paint of his vehicle (see below).

Since his arrest, Peyton has been placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, and with the restraining order in place, must stay 100 yards away from Jennifer’s home, places of work and vehicles.

He must also stay away from her employees, agents, managers and other reps. According to sources, Peyton has been known for very violent behavior and has even stabbed himself and hit his mother with a golf club in the past. What’s funny about the whole situation is that his mother is the one who informed cops about her stalker son’s rampage.

Guess that’s good payback for him! Glad to know that creepy perv is being dealt with though!

Actress Jennifer Aniston and “True Blood” actor Christopher Gartin are “just friends” according to a rep for the former “Friends” (how ironic LOL) star. Aniston was spotted wining and dining with Gartin earlier this month at L.A.’s Sunset Tower Hotel, which sparked speculation that the two might be dating. But Jennifer’s rep says that their client was only having dinner with a friend:

“Chris and Jennifer have been friends for many years,” Aniston’s rep tells PEOPLE. “She has had dinner with him dozens and dozens of times.” The pair arrived and left together, but “they’re definitely just friends,” seconds another source. Of the romance rumors: “This is just silly.”

Looks like Jennifer Aniston has given up on winning her ex husband Brad Pitt back from Angelina Jolie. Her friends say the 41-year-old actress has finally found her perfect man. Aniston, who in the past has been linked to male celebs like Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, recently went out on a dinner date in Los Angeles with “True Blood” actor Christopher Gartin. A source tells OK! magazine that the pair split a burger and washed it all down with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose at the Sunset Tower and Restaurant. The source said:

“She was bubbly in demeanor, seeming to be rather enthusiastic about something. They were talking about swimming pools and the pros and cons of chlorination or the new salt-water saline pools.”

Insiders say Jennifer went off when she caught wind of Kate and Gerard hooking up following late-night cocktails at Hudson’s home earlier this year. Jennifer Aniston had a fling with Gerard Butler last year while they were filming their movie “The Bounty Hunter” and now she’s pissed at Kate for honing in on her meat!

That certainly makes sense, considering the two are worth a whopping $330 million combined. So why are rumors of a breakup running rampant? “People hear ‘legal papers’ and assume it means a divorce,” our snitch continues. “But it could mean exactly the opposite. Either way, they’re making sure to get their ducks in a row, which they’ll need whether they split or stay together forever.”

And when one rumor gets debunked, another one pops up. Now the tabloids are saying that Brad and his ex wife Jennifer Aniston are getting back together, now that he and Angelina are supposedly becoming estranged.

Rapper Wale visited Fuse Studios in New York City Tuesday (Nov 10) to appear on Fuse TV’s “Hip Hop Shop” to promote his new album Attention Deficit, which dropped that day. In a series of tweets following his debut album’s launch, the D.C. born emcee said that each song on his album tells a story:

“On the train, bumpin’ my album,” he wrote. “I feel like telling y’all facts about Attention Deficit. Why not? There’s a story behind every song. On ‘Mama Told Me,’ I had something stuck in my teeth. At the beginning you can hear me making this weird noise tryin’ to get it out.” (Warning: Once you know that fact, that’s the only think you can hear.)

A few minutes later, he added that producer Mark Ronson actually encouraged Wale to tone down the lyrics of “90210,” where he skewers Paris Hilton (among others). “I admit i was too mean on that,” he wrote. Finally, he said that the album’s best track almost fell by the wayside. “‘Contemplate’ almost didn’t make the album. Jay-Z was a writer on the song sampled and we couldn’t reach him until the last minute.”

In the last 12 months, Jolie grossed $27 million, $2 million more than Aniston. Most of her income came from her 2008 action film Wanted and her paycheck for her new film Salt. There’s rumors of Jolie making an appearance in the Wanted sequel, even though she killed herself in the first one. Expect her to top the list next year if she is cast.
