NBA star Lebron James has a big-time agenda to meet! He has publicy stated that he wants to become the first billionaire athlete, and at the young age of 24, he might just meet that goal. With endorsements deals from Nike, Sprite, and now Vitamin Water, amongst other deals, the “point forward,” as he is called, has earned close to $250 million!

But back to his new deal. The Cleveland Cavaliers front man will be featured in a series of commercials advertising Vitamin Water. The commercials are set to air during the 2008 NBA Playoffs, and will feature Lebron James as a lawyer. That’s a far cry from his current image: “King Kong.” I know you guys peeped his cover shoot for Vogue Magazine. If you haven’t heard about the controversy that particular cover has been causing, then you need to find a new place to live, because the hole you’ve apparently been living in appears to be pretty dark and lonely! Hip-hop king Jay-Z and R&B queen Mary J. Blige showed up and showed out (from what I hear) in Miami’s American Airlines Arena Saturday night! The two were there, along with Kanye West, Timbaland, and The Dream, to kick off their Heart of the City tour. Rappers Young Jeezy and Fabolous showed their support from the audience, and were photographed backstage. It looked like a pretty damn good show! Wish I could have been there.

We kinda stole this from Vibe Magazine. You know, where they do the questions. However, there are two differences - we ask an additional question, and the questions they ask, and the ones we ask are completely different! Oh yeah … we spell it like “qwestchuns” lol!

Twenty (One) Qwestchuns

#1: Why did it take to long for Beyonce to get a non-singing role in a movie?

#2: Why does Weezy’s ad for condoms look suspect?

#3: Why are Reggie and Kim playing us with this fake ass relationship?

#4: Speaking of “fake ass relationships,” Chris Brown and Rihanna! Whaddup?

#5: Why didn’t Woody tell Sisqo about his call from the Lord before hitting the radio airwaves? Couldn’t he have at least put him on threeway? CONTINUE READING

Video Premiere: Jay-Z - “I Know”

Here’s the brand new video for Jay-Z’s newest single, “I Know,” off of his latest album, “American Gangster.” I’m glad he released this as a single. This song has got to be one of the best songs off of the album. The video’s pretty cool too, despite the fact that Jay-Z himself doesn’t even appear in it. I’m going to have to watch it again to understand what’s going on though, cause I’m a little lost. I hate when video concepts fly right over my head… I feel like I’m watching “Flashing Lights” all over again, lol!

Towards the end of the performance, recording artists Daft Punk made a special cameo appearance. The show featured a lot of performances, and even though we posted the majority of them throughout the night as they came in, a few slipped through the cracks. Here are the remainder of the photos that we didn’t get to post last night. More can be found after the cut.
