The world is dying to know whether or not Beyoncé is pregnant again. While momma B has remained tight lipped about the possible pregnancy, reportedly, Jay-Z has denied the rumors.

This past weekend, the Hip Hop mogul emailed Ebro Darden, program director the popular New York radio station Hot 97 denying that he and his wife are expecting their second baby.

“Jay-Z emailed Ebro over the weekend and told him the pregnancy rumor is false,” Hot 97 personality Peter Rosenberg said on the station’s morning show Monday (May 20).

“That’s crazy, too,” Darden, also known as ‘Old Man Ebro’ said. “I hit him to say ‘Congratulations man, send my love to the fam … Do I gotta buy a gift, what?’”

Jay-Z apparently hit Old Man Ebro back, saying that the rumors about his wife being pregnant were “not true.” He reportedly wrote: “The news is worse than the blogs.”

News hit a frenzy on Friday when E! News claimed that sources close to Jay-Z had “confirmed” the pregnancy. This came after a report earlier in the week that claimed Beyoncé was forced by her doctors to cancel a show in Belgium because of “dehydration” and “exhaustion,” which led everyone to believe Beyoncé was with child.

The following night, after writing a handwritten apology to her fans detailing her first postponement “in my life,” Beyoncé was back on stage, which was directly against her doctor’s orders.

If the reports that she is not pregnant are true, diehard Beyoncé fans are going to be a bit disappointed. Ever since the arrival of music’s little princess, Blue Ivy Carter, fans have wondered when Beyoncé and Jay-Z would give her a sibling. Would it be sooner, or would it be later?

Apparently, right now, we’re looking at “later,” HOWEVER Beyoncé recently spoke out about wanting another child sooner, rather than later.

“I would like more children,” Beyoncé told ABC News during an interview for Good Morning America in London. “I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister.”

“I would prefer she was just my little niece, but she’s a lot better off than most women.”

I’m really curious to know what Beyoncé makes of this. Like, maybe she randomly granted him permission? Nah, I don’t see it.

What I can see, though, is Miss Tina giving her brother a good read for running his mouth to the press. He didn’t say anything too bad, though. I’m more so still surprised he said something at all.

If nothing else, clearly Mathew isn’t a favorite of Uncle Larry’s.

The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher and Joel Edgerton hits theaters Friday May 10 and the reviews are mixed. However, I was invited to an advanced screening of the movie at the Ziegfield Theater in New York earlier this week, and the movie was excellent.

Let’s start with the decadence and extravagant setting that director Baz Luhrmann, who also directed Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet and Australia, has proved that he is so good at.

The movie boasts beautiful clothes, colorful scenes and energy that can give 1920s performer a run for her money. On top of the decadence the movie was filmed in 3D and really added to the experience. In the older scenes, the 3d looked vintage and in the newer scenes the 3d just makes the movie pop.

With a soundtrack that was produced by Jay-Z, it’s no wonder that the music was top notch. Taking a modern day approach and using Rap and R&B music, as opposed to Jazz as in the original novel, the music gives the movie an edge that only Jay-Z could produce.

No Church in the Wild adds to the grittiness of New York in the 1920s, Jay-Z’s 100 Bill talks to the decadence of the period, H to the Izzo shows of the party spirit of New Yorkers back in the day and Beyoncé’s Amy Winehouse cover for Back to Black illustrates Gatsby’s desperation over Daisy. I would definitely recommend picking up the soundtrack.

Last but not least, the glue of the movie, the actors. DiCaprio, as he always does, shines on the big screen as Gatsby. Playing a man living a lie, DiCaprio makes you believe everything Gatsby says or does, true or not.

Maguire as Nick Carraway flaunts his innocence as a man that gets caught up in Gatsby’s lies to the tee. Mulligan, who plays the love interest that Gatsby has built his whole life for and the wife of Edgerton, nails her role has a naive woman that also shows off her cold, selfish side.

Edgerton is excellent as Daisy’s billionaire husband slowly coming unhinged throughout the movie as he realizes he is losing his wife to Gatsby until the end where he also shows his selfishness.

Based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby is about a man living a lie to escape his past and putting all on the line for love.

The Great Gatsby hits theaters May 1o and I recommend you go see it.

Jamie Foxx is reportedly in talks to star in the modern day remake of Annie as Daddy Warbucks. Quvenzhane Wallis is slated to play Annie.

Annie, everyone’s favorite childhood story about a young orphan that gets adopted by a wealthy, grumpy business man, is also set to get a modern day twist.

With Will Smith and Jay-Z taking the reigns as producers, fans of the classic movie can surely expect a much cooler version with a ridiculous (in a good way!) movie score.

Jay-Z has already produced the score for the Great Gatsby, and it has everyone talking, including the director Baz Luhrman and Leonardo DiCaprio.

If reports are true, Foxx would be the perfect person to play Daddy Warbucks. Known as a triple threat in Hollywood, there are not many lead actors that can sing, dance and act and make it look effortless like he can. Plus, the pairing of Foxx’s infectious personality and Wallis’ spit-fire attitude is sure to be movie screen gold.

The role of Annie was originally slated for Will Smith’s daughter Willow, but she dropped out and told her dad she wanted to a normal 12-year-old. Well, a normal Hollywood 12-year-old, because there are probably not a lot of 12-year-olds that would turn down an opportunity to star in a classic movie produced by Smith, Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Will Smith explained back in February:

“Willow was supposed to be doing Annie, we got Jay-Z to do the movie, got the studio to come in and Willow had such a difficult time on tour with Whip My Hair and she said, ‘You know Daddy, I don’t think so’ and I said, ‘Baby, hold up! I said no, no, no, listen, you’ll be in New York with all of your friends and Beyoncé will be there. You will be singing and dancing,’ and she looked at me and said, ‘Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12.”

Annie is scheduled to hit theaters in 2014.

The first black president has meant the first hip-hop president in many ways, but President Obama looked like he was breaking bonds with the community once the whole Jay-Z/Beyonce Cuba fiasco caused a stir.

But if the President’s response to the controversy at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner means anything, then the president is as down as ever.

Entering to a snippet of DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win,” the president asked, “How do you like my new entrance music?”

He took it a step further and nudged the uptight conservatives who’ve been complaining about the president hobnobbing with such “lowbrow” individuals.

“Rush Limbaugh warned you about this — second term, baby. We’re changing things around here a little bit,” Obama joked.

He specifically addressed the Jay-Z/Cuba incident in his speech saying, “ Some things are beyond my control. For example, this whole controversy about Jaz-Z going to Cuba — it’s unbelievable. I’ve got 99 problems and now Jay-Z is one.”

Catching the entire Carter family with Blue Ivy is an occasional treat that rabid Beyoncé fans live for and the family’s latest jaunt to Paris for Beyoncé’s world tour provided the BeyHive with a much needed fix.

Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Blue Ivy were spotted by the paparazzi at Septime restaurant in Paris and lil’ Blue was recorded showing off some of the personality that Beyoncé told Oprah she has.

“She is hilarious and she is fire. Lord, am I going to have me a time!” Beyoncé said in her interview earlier this year. “She’s very smart. She’s already reading flashcards. She’s beautiful.”

While mommy gushes about her baby, there’s no denying that Blue’s also a daddy’s girl. Several of the shots show papa Jay holding his babygirl and smothering her with kisses.

Ever the stylish family, Blue Ivy showed off her Pump Up The Volume t-shirt, dark jeans and black and pink Adidas sneakers. In the words of her Uncle Kanye, Blue is drippin’ swagu. We see a future superstar in the making!

Jay-Z has announced that he is selling his minority stake in his ownership of the Brooklyn Nets so that he can spend the majority of his time focusing on his newest venture: Roc Nation Sports.

“Being a member of the Nets organization surpassed some of my greatest ambitions,” Jay-Z said in a statement (according to CNN). ”It was never about an investment; it was about the NETS and Brooklyn. My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun. I’m a Brooklyn Net forever. It’s been an honor to work with Mikhail Prokhorov, Dmitry Razumov, Christophe Charlier, ONEXIM Sports and Entertainment, Brett Yormark and all the wonderful people involved in making the Nets first class. Earlier this month, Jay-Z announced that he was forming a sports agency to manage professional athletes called Roc Nation Sports. The venture is a joint partnership with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Roc Nation Sports signed Robinson Cano as their first client.

Hopefully putting to rest the drama that surrounded Beyonce and Jay-Z’s trip to Cuba, President Barack Obama made his first comments about the Hip Hop couple’s controversial trek to Cuba.

“I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip,” the president said in an interview with the Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie. “My understanding is I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba. You know, this is not something the White House was involved with. We’ve got better things to do.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce took a trip to Cuba at the beginning of the month for their anniversary and caused a media frenzy that drew heavy criticism.

Many Cuban celebrities and anti-Castro activists spoke out against the trip and politicians even wanted the trip investigated; something Jay-Z responded to in a song.

Beyoncé and Nine Inch Nails will headline Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival this year.

Last year, Jay-Z brought together musicians such as himself, Kanye West, Common, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Jill Scott, D’Angelo, Pearl Jam, Janelle Monae, MMG Music and many others for the first annual Made in America Festival in Philadelphia. And this year, Jay-Z is bringing the festival back to Philadelphia and has chosen his wife Beyoncé and the legendary rock band Nine Inch Nails to headline.

The Made in America Festival will take place Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA. The presale kicked off last Wednesday (Apr 10) and will continue through Tuesday (Apr 16). General tickets go on sale this Wednesday (Apr 17).

Jay-Z and his Roc Nation music label have reportedly inked a deal with Universal Music Group in a multi-year, worldwide partnership under which Roc Nation will operate as a standalone label within the UMG family, effective immediately.

Jay-Z said in a statement (via Reuters):

“We are looking forward to working with Lucian Grainge (Chairman and CEO of UMG) and the incredible team he’s  assembled at Universal. We would like to applaud Lucian for collaborating with us to strike a new age deal. This agreement presents a unique opportunity for  Roc Nation’s artists-being able to continue to operate as an independent label  with the strength, power and reach of the best major. I look forward to a long  and prosperous collaboration with UMG. It feels good to be home.”

The news of the deal between UMG and Roc Nation comes days after Jay-Z’s announcement that he formed a sports management company (with Robinson Cano of the NY Yankees as its first signee), and just weeks after he signed a new publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.

Jay-Z has also announced that he is launching the second annual Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, which will take place on Labor Day Weekend — Aug. 31st and Sept. 1. The line-up for this year’s show, again sponsored by Budweiser, will be revealed on Wednesday via Spotify.

That little exotic Caribbean vacation Beyonce and Jay-Z took to Cuba for their fifth wedding anniversary could land hip hop’s favorite couple in hot water with the U.S. government.

Republican lawmakers are itching to find out who approved Beyonce and Jay-Z for their trip to Cuba, as there’s a longstanding travel ban for U.S. citizens on visiting the communist nation, according to Reuters.

U.S. Representatives Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart have written a letter to Adam Szubin, director of the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, asking for more information on how Beyonce and Jay-Z secured releases for their trip to Cuba.

The State Department says it has no knowledge of how Beyonce and Jay-Z secured their license to visit the country. If Beyonce and Jay did travel without official permission (people can travel to the country for academic, religious or cultural exchanges), they could face a fine.

Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart represent Florida districts with Cuban populations who are anti-Castro and these communities are demanding answers.

“Despite the clear prohibition against tourism in Cuba, numerous press reports described the couple’s trip as tourism, and the Castro regime touted it as such in its propaganda,” the letter said.

“We represent a community of many who have been deeply and personally harmed by the Castro regime’s atrocities, including former political prisoners and the families of murdered innocents.”

A Cuban rights advocacy group has also voiced disgust over Beyonce and Jay-Z’s visit. Mauricio Claver-Carone, the D.C. director for the US-Cuba Democracy PAC — a pro-democracy group — told TMZ that the high-profile visit by the couple was in poor taste.

“There are women getting beaten on a daily basis, women who are being jailed for no reason … people are fighting for their freedom. It’s extremely insensitive,” Claver-Carone said.

See, now why the hell did Beyonce and Jay-Z have to go to Cuba for their wedding anniversary? There’s only ONE country that U.S. citizens are banned from visiting and THAT’s the country they choose to visit?

Jay-Z is up there posing for cameras with a big grin on his face and a Cuban cigar in his mouth. He might as well have rocked a Che Guevara shirt and fist-pumped with Fidel’s brother. This whole trip was a postcard saying, “It’s Nicer in Havana!”

Now truth be told, these Republican Congressional representatives are bored as hell to be following the moves of a Beyonce and Jay-Z. Beyonce and Jay-Z’s fifth wedding anniversary was Thursday (Apr 4) and to celebrate the occasion, the happily married couple flew to Havana, Cuba where they were spotted being mobbed by fans as they walked around with their mothers Tina Knowles and Gloria Carter.

They all reportedly dined at La Guardia restaurant Wednesday night and posed inside the renowned restaurant with the restaurant staff. According to the Daily Mail, the crowds grew so thick that the police had to be called to calm the scene.

The famous couple’s bodyguards’ presence outside set the gritty, bustling neighbourhood of Centre Havana abuzz, and a crowd gathered downstairs shouting Beyonce’s name until she went to a balcony and waved.

Waitress Silvia Fernandez said Beyonce toured the eatery and looked at photos of past celebrity clients including Jack Nicholson, Jodie Foster, Danny Glover, Will Smith and James Belushi.

This casual trip out of the country comes at a perfect time for Beyonce, who has a pretty busy month ahead of her with the release of her new song “Grown Woman” this Monday, April 8th, and the kick-off of her world tour the following week in Serbia on April 15th.

Hip Hop Mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is officially a sports agent, signing his first client, Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees.

In 2008, Jay-Z founded “Roc Nation,” the entertainment company, and he is now launching Roc Nation Sports, a full-service sports management company which will partner with another agency, “Creative Artists,” to represent Cano.

Cano, who was once signed to agent Scott Boras, became a free agent at the end of this baseball season, which makes him eligible to sign with any team.

“At this point in my career, I am ready to take a more active role in my endeavors both on and off the field,” Cano said in a statement. “I am confident that the pairing of Roc Nation Sports & CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short- & long-term goals.”

His expected nine-figure contract will not only be a great deal for Cano but will also be a great deal for his new agency Roc Nation Sports.

Roc Nation has encompassed the music industry, managing artists, songwriters, producers and engineers.

It also deals with publishing, touring and merchandising, and it is meant to replace the now defunct music label, Roc-A-Fella Records, which was founded by Jay-Z and his former business partner Damon “Dame” Dash.

“Because of my love of sports, it was a natural progression to form a company where we can help top athletes in various sports the same way we have been helping artists in the music industry for years,” Jay-Z said in a statement.

It’s said that Victor Cruz, who just so happens to be good friends with Jay-Z, will be the next athlete to sign with Roc Nation Sports.

If you’re shocked that Diddy is at the top of the heap of Forbes’ Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists list in 2013, you can blame it on the alcohol … Ciroc to be exact.

According to Forbes, Diddy has an estimated net worth of $580 million and the bulk of his revenue comes from his deal with premium vodka brand Ciroc. His sponsorship deal with the liquor brand entitles Mr. Take That to “eight-figure annual payouts and a nine-figure windfall if the brand is ever sold.”

Hot damn. Forget the music business, Diddy is raking it in with the moonshine business!

Solange may still be mad at Kanye West for cutting her out of a photo from the BET Awards or she may have just thought what Justin Timberlake said about West on Saturday Night Live was funny; either way it seems she too has dissed the “Clique” rapper.

Timberlake hosted and performed on last weekend’s Saturday Night Live and apparently dissed West for an onstage rant the rapper made about Timberlake’s and Jay-Z’s song “Suit & Tie”

“I got love for Hov, but I ain’t fuckin with that ‘Suit & Tie,’” West said onstage.

On Saturday, during his SNL performance with Jay-Z, Timberlake switched up the lyrics to that very song Kanye West “ain’t fuckin with” singing, “my hit’s so sick got rappers acting dramatic ” instead of, “aww, shit so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit.”

And Solange seemed to find the diss pretty funny.

“lololololololololo,” Solange tweeted right after re-tweeting a message from another user that included the impromptu line change.

Back in January, West tweeted out a photo from the BET Awards with him, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Jay-Z with the caption, “FAM.” But the picture that West tweeted cut out Solange, and it could have been an oversight, but then again, he could have done it on purpose too. Is Solange not a part of Kaye’s “FAM,” or something? Maybe Solange is still upset about that.

Last night was Justin Timberlake’s fifth appearance as the host of SNL, and after performing a few skits, his final performance went out with a bang!

During his performance of his hit single “Suit and Tie” with rap superstar Jay-Z, Justin switched up one of his lines “shit so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” to “my shit so sick got rappers acting dramatic” — an apparent subliminal diss to Mr. Kanye West, who a few weeks ago during a performance in London infamously went on a rant about a number of things, one of them being Timberlake’s new single with Hov. “I aint fucking with that ‘Suit and Tie,’” he said specifically.

After weeks of the media going crazy over Kanye’s statement, Justin has finally decided to respond in his own way, and what’s better than during a huge SNL performance with Kanye’s “big bro”Jay-Z? We know Kanye is not going to be a happy camper about that one.

Could there be tension brewing in Kanye and Jay-Z’s relationship? Who knows, but we can guarantee you Jay wasn’t feeling Kanye’s highly publicized negative opinion of a record that he himself is on.

Is it possible Jay wasn’t aware of Justin switching up the lyrics? Maybe, but for a performance on SNL, we’re sure the two did some rehearsing. Maybe Justin switched it up as an impromptu.

Not sure how this is going to turn out, but we’re just waiting for Mr.West’s response. And given Kanye’s timeline we won’t be waiting very long.

Beyonce’s empire has really expanded lately. Fresh off her inauguration performance, Super Bowl performance, her OWN interview and HBO documentary, it was announced this week that Beyonce has signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.

Beyoncé has signed a global publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music. Effective immediately, Warner/Chappell — headed by chairman/CEO Cameron Strang — will administer the 17-time Grammy winner’s future songwriting, including her anticipated next album.

“It’s an honor to join Warner/Chappell Music and to continue working with my friend Jon Platt,” commented Beyoncé in the Warner/Chappell announcement release. “I trust his vision and admire his professionalism, and I look forward to our partnership.”

The power move comes one day after it was announced that Bey’s hubby Jay-Z signed his own publishing deal. Jay’s deal will give him control over the copyrights of his albums since 2008 and, at the end of 2013, music going back to 2004.

No wonder those two are the world’s richest celebrity couple.

Well, it’s official. Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are going on tour together! Today, the music heavyweights announced a 12-city tour, beginning this summer.

The tour, dubbed the “Legends of The Summer” Tour, will kick off this July in Toronto, and will close out in August in Miami. Jay-Z and Timberlake will hit major cities including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami and even Vancouver in Canada.

Earlier this week it was announced that Jay-Z and JT would headline London’s Wireless Festival, and Timberlake hinted at the Grammys that they would indeed tour together.

“We’re still putting it together, but it’s going to be a lot of fun,” said. “I don’t know how much I should say. It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that.”

London better get ready to put their suits and ties on, because Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are coming to town. The two music heavyweights are headlining the the city’s 2013 Wireless Festival.

Reports have surfaced recently stating that the two will be going on tour together, but none of that has been 100% confirmed just yet. For now the festival is the only solid news for Timberlake and Jay-Z.

Jay-Z will be the headline act for London’s Wireless Festival on Saturday, July 12th and Timberlake will headline Sunday, July 13th.

It’s almost certain the two will hit the stage together as they have so often lately, and Jay-Z joined Pearl Jam for the Made in America Festival when the two acts headlined the two-day event last September.

Timberlake hinted backstage at the Grammys that fans may get to see the two hit the road together. “We’re still putting it together, but it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Timberlake told E! News. “I don’t know how much I should say. It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that.”

In addition to Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z, other acts slated to perform at the 2013 Wireless Festival include Frank Ocean, Miguel, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, Rita Ora, Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris.

The festival will take place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London July 12th through the 13th.

Looks like Blue Ivy Carter already has a secret admirer! Alicia Keys was on the “Wendy Williams Show” Tuesday (Feb 19) and she talked about how her 2-year-old son Egypt stole a kiss from Jay-Z and Beyonce‘s 13-month-old daughter when they were playing together one day.

“We’ll get together and meet there [at the Knowles-Carter house] and like hang out and the kids will hang out and I think Egypt kissed Blue … and I don’t think Jay liked it very much,” Keys joked.

So what did Jay have to say about the innocent kiss?

“He called my husband [Swizz Beatz] and he was like, ‘Umm … watch your son,’” Keys added.

But Egypt isn’t the only secret admirer Blue Ivy has, apparently. Millions fawned over little Blue when Beyonce finally showed the first pictures of Blue since she was just a month old in her HBO documentary “Life is but a Dream.”

Just one day after her highly anticipated HBO documentary aired, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z were spotted sitting courtside Sunday evening (Feb 17) at the NBA All-Star basketball game in Beyonce’s hometown of Houston, Texas.

Hip-Hop’s royal couple were joined by Beyonce’s cousin/personal assistant Angela Beyince, as well as a number of celebs at the game, including Drake, who was pictured serving Bey and Jay drinks, Alicia Keys, who, along with her son Egypt, greeted the couple before taking the stage to perform at halftime, and J. Cole, who is signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label.

FYI: The West All Stars — comprised of Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, etc. defeated the East (LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony, etc.) with a final score of 143 to 138.

The Beyhive was in full anticipation for the premiere of Beyonce‘s “Life Is But A Dream” documentary, and Queen B did not disappoint!

In the documentary, we got to see inside a life that is perhaps the most ubiquitous celebrity life, but one we don’t know much about. Beyonce opened up about the rocky relationship with her dad, her marriage to Jay-Z, her pregnancy and motherhood, and fans even got a look at Blue Ivy.

There were many different highlights in the documentary and we have gathered a few of our favorites:

Everyday Beyonce

Most people only get to see the superstar side of Beyonce, but in “Life is but a Dream,” Beyonce shows off her vulnerable side. She talks candidly about having the same fears and insecurities and going through the same heartbreak and pain that everyone else does.

While we may see Beyonce as a superstar diva, there is a side of normalcy to her where she focuses on her family and worries about her career just like many of us do.

She talks about her dream marriage to Jay-Z, her difficult relationship with her father and the heartbreak of a miscarriage. She takes us on a journey with her that most of us have never been on.

Superstar Beyonce

Beyonce fans know that Queen B is a force to be reckoned with, but for the first time we got to see all the hard work that goes into being Beyonce the superstar.

We saw her work through her pregnancy and morning sickness and overcome every complication that comes with a live show. We saw her in the car on her way home at night, pop open her laptop and belt out “Listen” for a practice run, all while keeping her personal life the number one area of focus.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are known for being notoriously private. Sure, we know they they are married and that they have a daughter, but we really don’t see the inner workings of their relationship.

In “Life is but a Dream,” Beyonce gives us a glimpse into their relationship and how they have made it work in what has been forever in Hollywood time.

The couple have been together since Beyonce, who is now 31, was 20 and as she explained to Oprah, they spent a year-and-a-half as just friends before they went on any dates.

In the film fans see the superstar couple on vacation together, romantically and goofingly staring into each others eyes and singing Coldplay’s “Yellow” to each other, and Beyonce giving a heartfelt speech at Jay-Z’s birthday in 2006. Beyonce also doesn’t miss any chances to gush about her hubby.

Beyonce’s Pregnancy and Life as a Mother

Beyonce’s road to motherhood wasn’t easy, as she spoke candidly about tragically having a miscarriage before conceiving Blue Ivy.

However, in “Life is but a Dream,” Beyonce relishes in her new role as a mom. Fans get to see Beyonce’s pregnancy through the stages as she shows off her bare baby bump, including a nude shot of her nine months pregnant. The candid shots dispel any rumors of a surrogate, which Queen B also talks about.

We even get to see Blue Ivy’s sonogram and hear Beyonce talk about the first time Blue kicked. Motherhood is Beyonce’s best role yet!

Perhaps one of the most anticipated cameos of the night was none other than 13-month-old Blue Ivy Carter. The public has not seen a clear shot of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s little girl since a month after she was born.

In the documentary, Blue made her appearance towards the end for a quick close up. Beyonce then closed the film out with a video of her family sitting around her and Jay-Z’s home looking at family photos, while she cradled Blue.

In the end, Beyonce was makeup free, surrounded by her family, perhaps just the way she wants to be.

Justin Timberlake has released the music video for his sophisticated R&B single “Suit & Tie,” featuring Jay Z. The track serves as Timberlake’s lead single from his upcoming album and also marks the former NSYNC frontman’s return to music after a seven year hiatus.

The video for “Suit & Tie” will probably leave many underwhelmed as its not the exciting, heavily-choreographed big budget affair we’re used to seeing from Timberlake, however, it does a very successful job of bringing the song to life.

When Jay-Z, The Dream and Frank Ocean took to the Grammy stage Sunday night to accept their award for “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” for The Throne’s “No Church in the Wild,” Jay-Z basically did what anyone who already has over a dozen Grammy Awards would do. He thanked the swap meet for The Dream’s hat, and that was it.

“I’d like to thank the swap meet for his hat. Thank you,” Jay said, making fun of Dream’s bizarre headgear — a “parental advisory” beanie topped off with a Boyz N the Hood cap. The zinger was met with immediate applause and laughter from the audience, and it also got everyone riled up on Twitter.

But what did The Dream think of the the joke?

“Me and that guy, we was already goofing off the whole night,” the singer/songwriter said when MTV News caught up with him backstage after his win. “Jay’s a funny guy, people don’t know that. Of course they’re looking in from national TV and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe he did that!’ And I’m like, ‘No, I can believe he did that.’ What you may not believe is that I have my own digs that I do all the time, so it’s all good.”

But of course he would say that. Especially since Beyonce approved of his “swap meat” hat.

“Actually, Beyoncé asked me where I got these from and said they were so dope she wanted me to get her both of them,” he said. “So I don’t know what that means. [Jay-Z is] kind of like digging at both of us. I guess we’re country. This a country thing.”

Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are reportedly taking their suits and ties on the road. According to People, Timberlake and Jay-Z are getting ready to embark on a 10-city tour accompanied by a 10-piece band.

While details of the tour, including the specific itinerary haven’t been released just yet, the music duo have been seen performing together a lot lately. Jay-Z joined Timberlake on stage a day before the Super Bowl and on Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. They were also spotted on the set of Timberlake’s new video for “Suit and Tie.”

This will not be the first joint concert for Jay-Z. In 2004 he famously toured with R. Kelly, which ended up being a disaster with Kelly leaving after the Madison Square Garden after a paranoid breakdown. However, Jay-Z’s “Watch the Throne” tour with Kanye West in 2011 was highly successful.

If Justin Timberlake can be credited with a futuristic vision for his last album ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ he’s going in exactly the opposite direction for his new album ‘The 20/20 Experience.’

Although Justin wasn’t officially nominated for anything at the 2013 Grammys, he used the awards show as a platform to launch his new project.

He opened his set with his new single, “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z. He was dressed in a Rat Pack-style suit and tie and to add on to the retro effect, he had a sepia filter thrown on top of the footage. This trick is tired and annoying at this point. People spend good money on their high definition, smart LED TVs and they ain’t trying to watch an awards show in 1950s technology.

Find a new trick, Justin. Or stop chasing old-school sounds. It’s not as if Bruno Mars, Robin Thicke, Amy Winehouse, Duffy, and so many more haven’t tread this ground already.

It’s been more than 6 years since his last album and Justin turned in a competent performance, but you could see and hear a little of the rust. His falsetto wasn’t as strong as it should’ve been and the choreography wasn’t just as poppin’. But hey, it’s his first outing in years, so we’re sure it’ll get better.

In addition to “Suit & Tie,” which he pulled Jay-Z out of his seat for, Justin also debuted another track, “Pusher Love Girl.” It was another solid R&B track but like “Suit & Tie,” feels a little underwhelming for a man launching a comeback.

But how on earth does a superstar like Beyonce calm her nerves before performing in front of millions of people? (104 million, to be exact)

Well, if numerous reports are to be believed, she has sex with her husband Jay-Z. According to an article from NME published the morning of the Super Bowl, Beyonce said at a prior NFL press conference in New Orleans:

“When I get nervous or I don’t have everything together I like to make love to my husband.”

She reportedly added, “I’ve been preparing for five months for this moment. I’m happy I’ll have my husband there with me – it’s every woman’s dream to feel this way about her husband.”

Sounds like that Jay-Z guy — whoever that is — is totally winning at life.

Beyonce shared many warm moments with those close to her backstage right after her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance Sunday night. One special moment was shared with her husband Jay-Z, who was visibly proud of his superstar wife and was pictured giving her a hug as everyone looked on, probably saying “Awwwww!!!”

That embrace was posted to Instagram, along with a few other backstage pics, including one of Beyonce with her BFFs Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, both of whom shared the stage with Beyonce during the 2-minute Destiny’s Child reunion that happened in the halftime show.

Following her performance, Beyonce told OMG! Insider: “It feels good to know the hard work paid off. It’s a live television show. It’s the biggest show in America. There’s so many things that could happen and God was on my side, so I’m very, very happy that it went well and the power went out after.”

Shortly after Beyonce exited the stage, the power went out in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and it took 34 minutes for it to be restored. It’s rumored that Beyonce’s electrifying stage show had something to do with it, however officials have yet to specifically note that the singer caused the power to shut off.

Beyonce also posted a handwritten thank-you note to her Instagram page, giving a shout-out to fellow Super Bowl performers Jennifer Hudson (who sang “America the Beautiful” with the Sandy Hook Elementary School chorus), Alicia Keys (who sang the National Anthem), and her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Wiliams — all of whom are African American women, the singer noted.

“What a proud day for African American women!” she wrote. “You are all beautiful, talented and showed so much class. It was an honor to perform at the Super Bowl with you phenomenal ladies.”

While everyone has rightfully been living in Beyonce land for the past week, there was another music sensation that took to the stage Super Bowl weekend. Following a six-year music hiatus, Justin Timberlake performed Saturday night at DirectTV’s Super Bowl-eve concert and had a few surprises for the crowd.

In addition to some of his classic hits, Timberlake debuted two new songs for the private crowd: “Little Pusher Lover Girl” and “Bad Girl (or is it That Girl?).” His set also included his classics, like “Senorita,” “Like I Love You,” “Cry Me a River,” “Summer Love” and “My Love.”

While performing his newest single, “Suit and Tie,” the appropriately dressed Timberlake really got the crowd going when he brought out none other than Jay-Z. The crowd included Paul McCartney, Sofia Vergara, John Legend and New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft.

“Suit and Tie” hit the airwaves a few weeks ago and Jay-Z and JT have been spotted recording the video for it.

Justin and his collaborator Jay-Z were spotted in L.A. on Friday (Jan 25) having a helluva good time on the set of the video wearing — you guessed it! — suits and ties. Well, tuxedos and bow-ties to be exact.

In most of the behind the scenes shots, you can see JT and JZ goofing around, as Timberlake runs around holding an umbrella while Jay-Z laughs at him. The man behind them, however, was obviously NOT in on the joke, as evidenced by the serious look on his face:

Meanwhile, “Suit & Tie” — produced by Timberlake’s longtime producer Timbaland — is currently the #4 record in the country, after skyrocketing from #84 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The track serves as the first offering from Justin’s ‘The 20/20 Experience album’ — his first in seven years — and the video is expected to debut before the album hits stores on March 19th.

During the shoot, Justin and Jay-Z took a quick break to watch the Brooklyn Nets take on the Memphis Grizzlies. Jay-Z, a Brooklyn native, is a minority owner of the Nets, while Justin, a native of Memphis, is a minority owner of the Grizzlies.

Peter King (R-NY) had one of the best seats in the house at this year’s Inauguration for Barack Obama‘s second term as president, and the GOP party member was featured on Tuesday morning’s cover of the New York Post, which showed the politico in the middle of snapping a picture of Beyonce and Jay-Z with his camera phone.

“FIRST COUPLE! (Well almost) — Pols fawn over Beyonce, Jay-Z at inaugural” the NY Post cover read, suggesting that President Obama’s own inauguration was outshined by Hip-Hop’s royal couple.

“She’s been after me for years,” King jokingly told the Post. “I was in a good location, and just for historical record, anybody who looked important I took a picture of,” said King, who reportedly used his BlackBerry. “I didn’t know the guy beside her, Jay-Z.”

What? How do you know Beyonce, and not know that she’s married to one of the most famous rappers alive?

“I didn’t know!” King told NY Mag. “I knew the name but I didn’t realize that was him. I just know Beyoncé from seeing her picture in the papers. I don’t know rap. I stopped listening to music after Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers.”

“I’m not that starstruck with entertainers,” he continued, but “if we’re gonna focus on somebody, I’d rather focus on her than him — that’s a beautiful woman! If it was David Wright or R.A. Dickey, then I’d be excited.”

Speaking on him landing on the front page of the NY Post, King said: “It’s ironic to end up on the front page of the paper. I took about 40 shots yesterday — ten of the Clintons, ten of the Obamas, ten of the Chief Justice — and the one that makes it is Beyoncé.”

Beyonce updated her Tumblr last week, and included in the new pictures was a brand new photo of her and now 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, with her face hidden from the camera’s view (as usual), playing in the water on the beach in the Bahamas.

Blue Ivy just celebrated her first birthday last Monday (Jan 7) in the Bahamas with her superstar parents Beyonce and Jay-Z, and her “auntie” Kelly Rowland.

On the last day of their Bahamian vacation, Jay posted another cute picture on his Life+Times website of Blue playing UNO; maybe not so much playing, but tearing the cards up and scattering them all over the floor like most toddlers. (See below)

Meanwhile, Beyonce — whose sexy body is plastered all over newsstands since she’s on the cover of the latest issue of GQ — is gearing up for her big Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, which will be watched by around 100 million people on Sunday, Feb. 3rd 2012 when Super Bowl XLVII airs on CBS, live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

She’s also preparing for her performance at President Obama’s second inauguration on Jan. 21st, as well as the premiere of her HBO special, set to air on Feb. 16th.

After more than 8 years away from the studio, Justin Timberlake is BACK! And this time, he’s got Hova on his side.

The pop superstar last graced the world with his musicianship back in 2006 with his wildly successful sophomore album ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds.’ But he decided to spend the majority (okay, all) of his time focusing largely on his acting career. He had a string of mediocre films but he landed a remarkable role as Napster co-found Sean Parker in the Facebook movie “The Social Network.”

Since we last heard from Justin, he also go married to his longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel. So it’s perhaps with this grown man state of mind that he approached his new single “Suit & Tie” with Jay-Z, who’s also a married man to superstar Beyonce.

The track is a throwback to the R&B sounds of Marvin Gaye with its light, airy, disco feel. It sounds like something that’ll be spinning at picnics this summer, in fact, even though the song talks about formal attire and marriage.

“Tell your mother that I love her, cause I love you / Tell your father we gon’ father as a couple / They ain’t lose a daughter, they got a son,” Jay raps about his relationship with Beyonce and her parents.

Taking a page out of his protege Rihanna‘s notebook, Jay-Z decided to mingle with the people and ride the subway to his last show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn a couple of months ago.

The footage is now being released in the form of a 24-minute documentary, but the highlight definitely has to be Jay-Z nicely introducing himself to an older woman who doesn’t have a clue who he is. (At first, at least)

Hova may have a big ego, a fat bank account and the hottest woman in the world for a wife, but he’s also still a class act. Who says thugs can’t be gentlemen?

Following their appearance at the Clippers game on Black Friday, Beyonce and Jay-Z headed back to their luxury courtside seats — this time, with Jay-Z assistant Tyran “Ty-Ty” Smith –  Monday night (Nov 26) to watch the Brooklyn Nets take on (and defeat, 96-89) the New York Knicks at the Barclays center in the first NYC match-up of the season.

After the game, Nets co-owner Jay-Z tweeted (for the first time in MONTHS):

Jay-Z and Beyonce spent their Black Friday (Nov 23) courtside at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Kelly Rowland and Beyonce’s cousin/personal assistant Angela Beyince, who were all spotted cheering on the home team — the Brooklyn Nets — as they took on (and eventually defeated) the Los Angeles Clippers. The final score was 86 – 76.

Refusing to let the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy stop them from enjoying a night out … Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z were spotted sitting courtside this past Saturday night (Nov 3) at the Brooklyn Nets home debut against the Toronto Raptors at the all-new Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The pair — who reportedly had to evacuate their Tribeca penthouse and relocate to a swanky 5-star hotel earlier in the week to escape the wrath of Sandy — was all smiles as they cheered on their home team, and even joined the crowd in the “Brooklyn Chant” (see below) as the Nets balled on the Raptors, eventually defeating them 107 to 100.

Beyonce and Jay-Z left their 9-month-old daughter Blue Ivy at home with a babysitter Saturday (Oct 20) and spent the evening together dining in New York City’s Battery Park neighborhood.

As a part of their date night, Hip-Hop’s royal couple had dinner at Battery Park’s Gorgio Ristorante, where the pair were spotted sitting outside on the deck overlooking the sunset before moving indoors to enjoy their meal.

According to restaurant staff, the casually dressed couple sat right in the midst of the other diners, before leaving the building accompanied by a small team of bodyguards.

In an interview with Cleveland radio station Z107.9 this week, President Obama spoke on his friendship Beyonce and Jay-Z, and how he was able to offer Jay some parental advice:

I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years. They’re good people. Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends.

We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends. I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with the baby], and not leaving it all with Beyonce and the mother-in-law.

Actress Katie Holmes was spotted wearing her best incognito look (see: huge, dark shades; ugly sweater; head down) when someone snapped this picture of her riding alone on the subway in New York City Wednesday (Oct 10).

Is this a new thing now? Jessica Alba took the subway last month, and Jay-Zjust took the subway last weekend. Even Rihanna rode the London Underground back in March to see Drake in concert.

Jay-Z traded in the keys to his Maybach for a Metrocard … and rode the subway to Brooklyn Saturday night (Oct 6) ahead of the final concert of his 8-night stay at the brand new Barclays Center — home of his basketball team The Brooklyn Nets.

Joined by a group of bodyguards, the rapper was mobbed by hundreds of fans, and even struck up a conversation with an older woman who he sat next to on the subway ride on the R train from Chinatown.

Jay then performed one hell of a concert to a sold out crowd, and he was joined onstage by his superstar wife Beyonce.

Former NFL running back Larry Johnson was arrested in Las Vegas last Friday (Oct 5) on domestic violence charges after police say he attacked and strangled a woman who is believed to be his ex-girlfriend.

According to TMZ, Las Vegas police were called to the Bellagio Hotel at around 4 a.m. when they found the alleged victim crying with visible bruises and scratches all over her neck.

Police said Johnson had small scratches on his face as well, and the woman told them that he had choked her to the point of unconsciousness.

Johnson — who once signed a $45 million NFL contract with the Kansas City Chiefs — was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and was released the next day after posting $15,000 bond. He’s due back in court on October 11th.

When the news broke about his arrest, Johnson reached out to TMZ, telling them that he did not strangle his ex girlfriend, and he has the evidence to prove it.

Johnson claims [the woman's story] is BS. He tells TMZ the woman — who he says was just an old acquaintance — would not leave his hotel room after a night of partying at Bank Nightclub. Johnson says the woman began to kick and slap him as he tried to remove her.

Johnson says once he got her outside the room, she began to try and kick the door down — which Johnson feels should have been caught on surveillance cameras, proving she was never near unconsciousness.

Johnson said he tried to tell the police his side of the story but they weren’t trying to hear it. And based on his prior arrests, you can’t blame them for giving LJ’s story the side-eye.

The 32-year-old has reportedly been arrested 4 other times since 2003, and each time he was accused of assaulting a woman.

In 2008, he was sued for allegedly spitting on a woman in a nightclub. He paid $100K to settle that case. And in 2011, he was sued for allegedly beating up a man in Miami Beach, which has yet to be settled.

But Larry still maintains his innocence, saying in a statement to TMZ, “I know people will try to pass judgement on me from my previous record but I didn’t do what I am being charged with.”

Johnson — who is (or at least used to be) really good friends with Jay Z — used to date TV personality Julissa Bermudez, and many assumed her to be the victim when news first broke, however Julissa herself commented on Twitter that Larry is her ex for a reason, proving that she is most definitely NOT the woman in this situation.

During the eighth and final night of Jay-Z‘s Barclay Center concerts in Brooklyn, New York, he and his superstar wife Beyonce kissed each other after sharing the stage together for the first time in years.

“What’s up Brooklyn?” Beyonce said in her best ‘hood’ voice to the roaring audience after staring the crowd down following her surprise “Diva” performance. “I have to say I’m so proud to be here … Can I do one more for y’all?”

And with that, the music for “Crazy In Love” started up. When the song got to Jay-Z’s verse, the rapper had missed his mark, forcing his wife to fill in some of his lines before he was able to come out himself and finish with a quick slap on her butt (like their 2006 BET Awards performance).

Adding to the dramatics, Beyonce dropped her mic and strutted off the stage while the audience went into a frenzy.

Afterward, Jay-Z explained his delay, telling the crowd, “I kinda fucked up because I was watching the monitor in the back and I was in a daze, I was like, ‘Oh shit … I should probably rap here!’”

Funny stuff. Even Jay-Z gets enamored by his own wife’s beauty sometimes.

Hip-Hop’s royal couple also joined forces later in the night for the show-closing performance of “Forever Young.”

Jay-Z is one Brooklyn boy who’s done good. Middle-aged Hov christened the brand-new Barclays Center (home of the brand-new Brooklyn Nets) with the first of 8 scheduled concerts at the venue on Friday (Sep 28).

Sporting a bubble jacket vest and a Nets hat and jersey, Jigga made the event a Brooklyn affair. He invited Big Daddy Kane for a guest appearance and led the enthusiastic crowd through a cover of Brooklyn icon Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy.”

Other stars in attendance for the big show include his wife, Beyoncé; producer pal Pharrell; Roc Nation signee J. Cole; NBA legend and business mogul Magic Johnson; comedian Dave Chappelle; singer-songwriters The-Dream and Ester Dean; and Hot 97 radio personality Angie Martinez.

With Beyonce on his side, there’s pretty much no way President Obama can lose.

Jay-Z and Beyonce played host to a lavish fundraiser at Jay’s 40/40 club in New York City for President Obama, which reportedly raised $4 million dollars and cost donors $40,000 per plate.

And unlike when he knocked his other famous hip hop supporter Kanye West on the head for being rude to Taylor Swift, Obama did everything he could to link himself to hip hop’s classiest and richest power couple.

The L.A. Times reports that the president noted that he and Jay-Z have one thing in common.

“We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard but it’s OK,” said Obama.

The president also praised Beyonce as a role model for his daughters.

“Beyonce could not be a better role model for my girls,” Obama said.

Now wait a minute. Beyonce is certainly one of the better behaved pop stars of her generation, but does the president mean that Sasha and Malia should look up to Beyonce for her mean pelvic thrust game?

And what about when she was bragging about how none of these “bitches” could fade on her “Run the World” and throwing up the middle finger at the camera?

Okay, we’ll stop.

Anywho, we wonder if President Obama put in a request for Beyonce’s song selection when she sings at his inaugural ball next year.

No, there hasn’t been any official announcements about that yet, but after the stellar job Bey did in 2008, how could they not ask her back?

Beyonce, Jay-Z and Baby Blue Ivy were spotted spending some quality time together as a family on a private yacht off the coast of the South of France on Tuesday (Sep 4), which was Beyonce’s 31st birthday.

Taking a break from their super busy schedules, the Hip-Hop power couple relaxed and sipped on fine wine as they lounged on the deck of the yacht and took in the scenery on the Mediterranean.

Earlier in the day, the foreign paps caught Beyonce on mommy duty as she fed Blue her breakfast.

And later, Jay-Z was spotted taking over daddy duty and appearing to be completely smitten with his infant daughter, who is quickly becoming a pro at luxury travel. (Helicopters, yachts, private jets, oh my!)

Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend is best friends with Beyonce‘s husband, so naturally, Beyonce and Kim Kardashians are BFFs too, right?

Wrong. At least that’s what “sources” are saying.

Beyonce and Kim both attended the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia this past Labor Day weekend to support their men, and a source backstage told the New York Daily News:

“Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other. They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn’t even acknowledge she was there until the concert was almost over … and Kim didn’t make any efforts to go speak to Beyonce either.”

The women were forced to eventually make “small talk” backstage in the dressing room, but Kim was noticeably uncomfortable. “She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn’t say much,” said another source.

If rumors are to be believed, Kim has been trying to get Beyonce to be her best friend ever since she started dating Kanye West almost six months ago.

Back in May, a source told the Daily News that Kim was dying to be Beyonce’s BFF. “Kim wants to travel everywhere with Kanye, but she’s also trying to do whatever she can to get close to Beyonce,” the source said. “So, if Bey and Jay are going, she’s going.”

A month later, in June, rumors of a riff between the two ladies popped up saying that Beyonce and Jay-Z wanted nothing to do with the “Kimye” romance.

But Kim was spotted backstage at one of Beyonce’s Atlantic City Revel Resort concerts, and a rep for the reality star denied that a Beyonce-Kardashian beef even existed, telling RumorFix at the time, “This story is not true, Beyonce even invited Kim to her Atlantic City concert. They are great friends … this story is just ridiculous.”

Further proving that there was no beef between them, Beyonce and Kim were spotted togeher in the crowd of Kanye and Jay-Z’s “Watch the Throne” concert in the UK later that month, and fans posted pictures of the pair all over Twitter.

And in July, at the 2012 BET Awards, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye and Kim all sat together in the front row, proving, once again, that there’s no bad blood between the couples.

When asked whether or not the latest crop of ”Beyonce Hates Kim Kardashian” rumors are true, a source close to Kimye told RumorFix, “Of course it’s not true. They have no reason to not get along and actually get along very well!”

As we approach the 2012 Video Music Awards this September 7th at 8 pm on MTV, it’s time to look back on one of the biggest and most spectacular music events of the year.
