I felt it can only be right since Janet turned 42 yesterday (May 16). This is a performance from Janet Jackson’s Velvet Rope Tour in 1998 in New York City. I went to this concert in Chicago! I was only 7 at the time. I still love Janet. One of our greatest performer of all time. Happy Birthday Janet!!!

Jermaine Dupri’s baby-sitter, Janet Jackson, took some time off of her 24 hour job of tending to little JD to appear at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Hollywood Saturday night (Apr. 26th). In a recent interview with DJBooth.net, One Chance states that they’ll be going on tour with Janet Jackson. Now I don’t know how true this is but I wanna know when their debut album, Private, is gonna hit stores. Janet is supposedly going on tour in September. There are no official tour dates yet. But stay tuned to Think2wice for more info.

Janet Jackson’s fourth single is “Can’t Be Good”, from her recent album release, Discipline (Island). Not sure if there is a video shoot for this single but Janet is currently in Japan promoting her tour and album.

Whenever these two get a chance to honeymoon it up, I’m sure they’re gonna have some “fun!” And I assume she’s wearing the gloves to cover up her *ahem* wedding ring? Anyway, if she is indeed pregnant, she must be only a week or two ’cause I see no baby bump what-so-ever. And that jacket is a little tight … so, yeah.

JANET JACKSON RECOVERING FROM THE FLU // MARIAH CAREY TO REPLACE HER FOR SNL PERFORMANCE » Pop singer Janet Jackson went to the emergency room Monday in Los Angeles with a case of the flu, and according to her rep, “she’s fine.”

“She’s fine,” says the rep. “She’s just battling this crazy flu like everyone else. She did go to [the emergency room] at Cedars-Sinai [Medical Center] but was released after being treated for the flu-like symptoms.”

The singer, who saw her album Discipline debut at #1 on the Billboard charts last week, had to pull out of an SNL (Saturday Night Live) appearance and performance scheduled for this Saturday so that she can recuperate fully.

It has been confirmed by various media outlets that Mariah Carey will replace Janet. This will be her first appearance on SNL in over 10 years. She will perform songs from her 11th studio album, E=MC2, which is due out April 15th. CONTINUE READING
