The Queen of Pop Janet Jackson invited ABC’s cameras to the set of her “Make Me” video and here a re a few video clips of some behind the scene footage of the Janet & her dancers filming the clip! Janet’s Number Ones compilation project hit stores this past Tuesday (Nov 17) and this is the lead single from the album.

This song is kind of hot!

Janet did a radio interview Tuesday morning with a station in D.C. and in an attempt to blast the rumors of she and Jermaine getting back together, she revealed that the pair were only friends and are NOT together:

95.5 WPGC D.C.: Now I wanna ask … you just mentioned Jermaine, and there are so many rumors going around. I don’t even know if you care to even talk about it. But, any plans on getting married?

Janet Jackson: No, I know the rumor that you’re talking about, and we’re not together. We never got back together. He’s still one of my best friends though, so people will see us together and in doing so, [people say] ‘Oh they’re together.’ But no, we’re not. I love that man.

WPGC: Aww…

Janet: I adore him, I really do. And he’s such a sweetheart. but no … we’re not together.

Janet Jackson watches her flash perform at The Grove in Los Angeles - November 14th 2009

After weeks and weeks of practice, an organized group of flash mobbers known as “Flash Mob America” showcased their Janet Jackson flash mob in the streets of Los Angeles Saturday (Nov 14). In the middle of The Grove, LA’s premiere retail and entertainment destination, the group performed a select few of Jackson’s hits including “If,” “Miss You Much” and “Nasty” while Janet herself watched the spectacle from the rafters.

In her interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts, Janet said she doesn’t want Dr. Conrad Murray, the man most likely responsible for her brother’s death, to continue practicing medicine. Why? Because she doesn’t want him to “accidentally” kill someone else. She also revealed that she doesn’t know if he was the only doctor giving Michael drugs, but she’s confident that the truth will come to light soon.

Her new compilation album, Number Ones, is in stores today and her big ABC interview will air tomorrow night at 9 PM.

Queen of Pop Janet Jackson will be the opening the 2009 American Music Awards with an 8-minute performance next Sunday (Nov. 22)  on ABC at 8PM. Janet has also recently shot a music video for her new single, “Make Me,” and probably has some choreography for the track which she most likely will be performing at the AMAs.

After her compilation album Number Ones is released in stores on November 17th Janet will sit down with exclusively with ABC’s Robin Roberts Wednesday night (Nov. 18) at 9PM  to talk about the sudden tragic death of her brother Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson's $1 Million Funeral

Well, we know at least 1 Jackson can hold her own!

It turns out Michael Jackson’s series of lavish funerals were definitely a home going fit for a king! After three different ceremonies following his death in June, Michael Jackson was finally laid to rest in September. Everything combined ended up costing at least $1 million!

The only other person in the family with a cash flow like Mike would be his little sister Janet Jackson, who graciously covered some of the cost of the funeral bill, which was a whopping $103,578.50 and she put up $49,372.50 initially. Documents state that MJ ’sestate was granted permission to pay Janet back the money though and they picked up the remainder of the tab.

Reported by TMZ here are the general cost of the funeral:

As for itemized costs, the internment was $590,000. As for upkeep of the mausoleum — $88,500.

The casket coach — $295

Private security, lighting, baby grand piano, fan rentals — $176,020.31.

And there’s this — Framing of a photo of MJ which was placed next to the casket — $3,682.66

Janet Jackson & Jermaine Dupri

People Magazine has confirmed that Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are back still together, despite Janet openly speaking out about her relationship with Jermaine shortly after her brother Michael Jackson’s death for the first time in Harper’s Baazar claiming that she was single:

Janet is also now single, recently breaking off her seven-year relationship with music producer, Jermaine Dupri. Does she still believe in marriage? “For [some] people, sure! I don’t know if I’ll get married again. [She's been married twice, as a teen to James DeBarge and to choreographer René Elizondo.] I’ll put it like this: If God wants me to, then I will.” Dating? “Yeah, I’ve had people ask me out. I haven’t entertained any offers thus far, but I’m locking myself in my work right now.” Some might say boys smell anyway. “Yeah, they stink,” she chuckles, “and they’re dirty.”

But an inside source tells people:

“They never really broke up,” source says, “Jermaine wanted to give her space when Michael died.”

Pop/R&B diva Janet Jackson is set to be featured in an hour-long exclusive interview with ABC News correspondent Robin Roberts on November 18th. This will be her first extended sit-down interview with her brother Michael’s death back in June. Janet’s Number Ones greatest hits compilation drops November 17th and the interview will air the next day. Number Ones is a two disc feature-set of her biggest hit singles, and will include a new track called “Make Me,” which is a tribute to her late brother’s smash single “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.”

Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z says that if he had to choose to do one thing before he died, he would love to fly to the moon! The Grammy Award winning rapper told Gotham Magazine that he’s accomplished a lot in his liftime, but he’d love to “Go to the moon.”

Singer Janet Jackson and musician Will.i.am hit up the UFC 104: Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua fight Saturday night (Oct 24) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Janet’s late brother Michael Jackson was reportedly a big fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Other stars spotted in the crowd were Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and if you look closely, Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy were in the crowd too.

Janet Jackson has publicly said herself that she’s “single,” so we’re not sure why this picture of her and Jermaine Dupri together popped up over the weekend. Apparently JD went with Janet to Milan, Italy for fashion week and the two of them were photographed (together) at a private party hosted by Donatella Versace Friday night (Sep 25).

So are these two rekindling their romance? We can’t say 100% because it’s just a picture. But for the sake of that big azz tattoo Jermaine has on the side of his body, we hope they can at least TRY to work things out…

MTV has been airing her TV special, “The Making of Janet Jackson’s VMA Tribute Performance,” for about a week or so. The show takes viewers behind the scenes of her big tribute performance to Michael Jackson at the VMAs. Filled with a lot of emotion and still coping with the loss of her brother, Jackson says that she knows he was watching the performance and she hopes he enjoyed it.

“I know he was watching. I know he was looking down,” Jackson said of the performance. “I hope he enjoyed it.” The half-hour special began with day one of training in a Burbank, California, studio, introducing the celebrated choreographers who would accompany Jackson: Tyce Diorio, Tina Landon, Jeri Slaughter, Travis Payne, Brian Friedman, Cris Judd, Dave Scott, Mia Michaels, Laurie Ann Gibson and Wade Robson.
