In a recent interview with Daily Beast, speaking on his staged break-up/make-up divorce, Pratt admits: “At that point, we were pulling our last cards. We felt the hot-air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage, our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce.”

After partying in exclusive clubs and spending millions on clothes, a failed pop career and an expensive truck that they only used ONCE, the couple are now residing with Spencer’s parents.

The couple who once spent their “free time” dining at the most exclusive Hollywood restaurants and partying at the hottest clubs, now spends their days holed up in Santa Barbara at Spencer’s parent’s house (like the broke jokes that they are) watching movies and eating Mexican food.

The couple’s rise to fame came when Heidi starred in MTV’s hit “reality” show “The Hills” (2006) as Lauren Conrad’s bestie. The BFFs soon parted ways though, when Spencer appeared on the scene and drove them apart.

Heidi Montag claims that she is a fitness MONSTER!

The former reality star recently revealed to US Weekly that she works out a total 14 hours a day. (That’s over half the day!)

“I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I’ve been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape. And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I’ve ever been because I’ve kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape.”

Montag’s exercise routine consists of a lot of running and lifting weights.

“I’ve been running a lot, and I’ve been doing weights. When you work out, you boost your metabolism, so you have to [make sure you eat enough].”

Heidi blames her plastic surgery for being the reason she quit going to the gym in the first place.

“My breasts, because they’re so big, really needed some time. So I’m just starting to work out again after my surgery. Sometimes I get shooting pains, but I hear that’s normal.”

Surgery ruined my career and my personal life and just brought a lot of negativity into my world. I wish I could jump into a time machine and take it all back. Instead, I’m always going to feel like Edward Scissorhands.”

In a move sure to make eyebrows raise up like gas prices, the aspiring 24-year-old singer says that she has hired Mizey Entertainment CEO Debra Antney (rapper Waka Flocka Flame‘s momma) as her manager! And that’s not even the craziest part about all of this. Montag says that her husband Spencer Pratt is in the studio making tracks with Flocka!!!

Antney has managed the careers of Gucci Mane, her son Waka Flocka and the hottest female rapper in the game right now Nicki Minaj. And even though Deb no longer manages Nicki Minaj, Montag still feels like she’s in good hands.

“I need her to guide me in the right direction and I know amazing things will happen because she really knows what she is doing,” Montag said. “I’ve never been able to be the true Heidi, and now that I am not working on The Hills, I can really focus on this.”

Radar Online has confirmed that the deal is 100% legit, and Deb has already agreed to meet with Heidi.

“While Spencer is working with Waka Flocka, I’m going to do some tracks with Eric Nolan Grant,” Montag said, excited to have the opportunity to work with the jazz singer. “We are meeting in the studio on February 21st through February 24th, and I am so excited. I want to make my own niche in the music world, that’s just Heidi. It could be a Pink meets Britney Spears.”

The sad part about all of this? Heidi and Spencer are DEAD serious about all of this! And we wouldn’t even be surprised if they had a reality show in the works that will cover all of this.

Heidi Montag, who has previously admitted that she had 10 plastic surgery procedures done in ONE DAY, claims that her doctor, the late Dr. Frank Ryan, pushed her have multiple procedures done on her face, comparing his sales tactics to that of a Girl Scout selling cookies.

In an ABC “Primetime” interview that aired sometime last week, the former MTV reality TV star said that Dr. Ryan, who was tragically killed in a car accident over the summer, minimized the significance of the changes they were making to her face. Montag also acknowledged that she did not feel “prepared” for the surgeries.

“But how can you know when your doctor’s saying, ‘It’s just a little of this, it’s just a little of that’? You know, it really becomes a lot,” Montag said. “I definitely think I should have been way more informed. It seems like husband and wife pair Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will probably do ANYTHING these days for a little fame, fortune and Internet attention. And the pair proved just that by renewing their wedding vows over the weekend!

ET cameras were on the scene as “Speidi” tied the knot for the THIRD time, reaffirming their commitment to one another Sunday (Nov 14) in a wedding ceremony at a beachfront house in Southern California. This time, however, was different.

“[This time] it’s just me and my bride on a little secret beach with nobody else and it’s just about her,” Spencer told Entertainment Tonight. “Versus last time it was about everything else, it was about drama, it was about ratings.”

Heidi adds, “It was about everyone but us, so this is really our first wedding about Spencer and I and our love. Now I feel like I can finally just be Heidi and just be in a marriage and just be a person. I’m just really enjoying every day.”

But wait…aren’t they broke and planning on filing for bankruptcy? So how on earth did they afford a wedding?

Apparently, everything (including Heidi’s Jenny Yoo gown, Spencer’s Rik Ducar tuxedo, their four-tiered multi-flavored cake decorated with white chocolate seashells from Hansen’s Cakes and rings from Alan Friedman) was donated to them. The financially struggling couple even received a 50% discount on their flowers from Sky Flowers!

Heidi and Spencer also admit that they thought “The Hills” would make a lot more money in the long-run and that “Jersey Shore” blindsided them. And after throwing away $10 million on living the lavish life, they are now homeless and owe over $2 million dollars in unpaid taxes.

“We thought The Hills was going to be like 90210 and we’d have another five to 10 years,” Spencer says. “The ratings were consistent. But we never saw Jersey Shore coming. Before, TV audiences were fine with seeing us all argue, but now they want you to punch one another in the face and hook up with three different people. Our cast was a bit boring and snoozeworthy in comparison. No wonder we got canceled.

“We don’t want sympathy,” Spencer tells Life & Style. “We did this to ourselves and feel like idiots. But we’ve grown up and are definitely not as naive anymore.”

The on-and-off couple that once starred alongside each other in the hit MTV reality show “The Hills” are now broke and are reportedly planning to file for bankruptcy!

Heidi and Spencer admitted to Life & Style Magazine that they carelessly threw away more than $10 million in an extremely short amount of time.

The couple say they spent nearly $40,000 per month on a rented home in Malibu, in addition to $3 million on Heidi’s one-off singing career and hundreds of thousands of dollars on her dozen or so plastic surgeries and aftercare.

Heidi Montag officially filed a motion yesterday (Wed. Sep 29) for a judge to dismiss the pending divorce between herself and her husband Spencer Pratt, reports TMZ.

Montag filed for divorce citing irreconcilable difference just 3 months ago back in July, but has apparently had a change of heart after spending time with her estranged husband in Costa Rica recently.

The two were also spotted together earlier this month at a walk for breast cancer in California, and were spotted kissing just a few days later (on Heidi’s 24th birthday) adding fuel to rumors that they were getting back together. And now, the pair has made it official by getting a judge to call the divorce off.

Reality TV’s favorite married couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are supposed to be getting a divorce and are supposedly “separated.” However……the two were briefly detained at an airport TOGETHER in Costa Rica over the weekend (Sat. Sep 11) for illegal possession of firearms after security officers found two unloaded handguns in the couple’s luggage.

Airport police chief Otto Arrietta says the former stars of MTV‘s “The Hills” hadn’t declared the weapons and didn’t have necessary legal permits to have them in Costa Rica. The estranged couple, who had been in Costa Rica since August 14th, were detained for questioning but were released and allowed to leave the country the same day.

But forget about the guns …. why the hell was a supposedly “separated” couple spending time together outside of the country for NEARLY A MONTH??? Spencer! Heidi! You got some ‘splaining to do!!! (in Ricky Ricardo voice)

In what seems to be a change of heart (though we all know this is just another ploy for attention), the former MTV reality star is throwing out apologies left and right to his extranged wife Heidi Montag, saying that he “failed spectacularly” (at both life and his marriage we assume?) and he’s planning to do some serious “intense soul-searching” to help sort out his obvious issues.

“Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved,” Pratt, 27, tells PEOPLE. “Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly.”

Addressing his actions toward Montag, 23, he says, “I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies.” He didn’t specify what actions, but Pratt has been threatening to release a sex tape involving Montag, launched rants against her on Twitter and has been relentlessly pursuing her in Costa Rica.

“Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down,” he says. “She never deserved the pain and anguish I put her through, and although I don’t expect it, I hope in time she’ll be able to forgive me.” He adds, “Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends.”

Has Spencer really changed and is he TRULY sorry for being a douche? Or is this just another one of his hair brained schemes to get his soon-to-be ex wife to drop the divorce, run back in his arms and do a reality show about it. … Yeah, that last one sounds about right, don’t you think?

Heidi Montag sets the record straight about the collapse of her marriage with Spencer Pratt in a recent interview with People Magazine!

The reality show star surprisingly says that it wasn’t Pratt who caused the end of their marriage…but instead all of the plastic surgeries she’s gotten done over time.

“Spencer begged me not to get the first surgery and it almost broke up our relationship. Then he begged me not to get the second one and it did break our relationship. It was just so much pressure. Montag also told the mag that she now wants to downsize her breast implants and get back to being normal.

The recent controversy between Heidi Montag and her soon-to-be ex-hubby Spencer Pratt is getting nastier (and funnier) day by day…..and has now lead to a bitter game of foul play!

Sources tell TMZ that Spencer is threatening to sell Vivid Entertainment a sex tape with him and the Hollywood star for $5,000,000. (Yes we said it 5 milli) And not to our surprise…Vivid thinks the price is a reasonable one. But that’s not the only curve ball Spence is throwing….

Spencer also claims he has another sex tape with Heidi and Playboy playmate Karissa Shannon that could possibly be up for sale. All of this is a part of his plan to get back at Heidi for refusing to do a reality show and tear up the divorce papers.

“There is no sex tape that exists and there never was. Spencer is trying to drum up press. This is exactly why I wanted to divorce him in the first place.”

TV turned Internet personality Spencer Pratt has a few things to say about his marriage with Heidi Montag, and plans on releasing a tell-all book to give his side of the story!

In a recent interview with US Magazine, Spencer says that he’s not holding anything back this time around:

“My last book, ‘How to be Famous,’ didn’t make the New York Times best-seller list because it was in the self-help section. This one is going to be totally different. I’m not holding anything back.”

Well Heidi of course isn’t happy one bit about this, and is the process of taking legal action against her soon-to-be ex-hubby.

“This is exactly why I left him. Right now I’m looking into my legal options to stop it,” Montag told TMZ.

This comes weeks after Heidi and her equally estranged husband Spencer Pratt reportedly called the cops on Darlene when she showed up at their home unannounced.

Heidi hasn’t officially filed a divorce petition just yet to follow up with the legal separation papers she filed last month, but we hear that she is most definitely planning to do so soon.

Actress Heidi Montag has filed for legal separation from her husband actor Spencer Pratt. The Hollywood couple had been facing a split ever since it was revealed that Spencer had been overbearing throughout their relationship and even isolated Heidi from all her friends and family, including her mother and father.

According to sources, the filing will allow Heidi to claim all of her personal earnings as her separate property beginning on the date of separation today (Tues. Jun 8). Irreconcilable differences was listed as the reason for separation.

Our good friends over at Pop Eater might be on to something! Could all of this drama “separation” and “divorce” drama between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt just be a big publicity stunt to draw people to check out Heidi’s new reality show?

Get this for a story pitch: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt split up after a year of marriage, but don’t file any legal papers. The ‘Hills’ starlet moves to a beach house for the summer where she films a reality show with her newly minted BFF. During the course of taping this sure-to-be classic show, Pratt returns to the fold and by the time the finale rolls around, wins back Montag’s heart and they return home to Los Angeles. While many of you may be hoping Heidi really did ditch Spencer last week, sources inside and outside the family have a different take on the situation.

Heidi Montag finally broke it off with her hell raising husband Spencer Pratt! Montag’s rep confirmed the news to CNN, saying that the two are separated “for now” and don’t plan on filing for divorce just yet.

“Yes the split is real,” Vonderlieth said in an e-mail. “Like to say separation for now. As you can imagine it is crazy right now. She’s trying to lay low the next couple days. What I can say is that it’s a separation for now, not divorce.”

Sources tell TMZ that for a while now, Heidi had been complaining that Spencer was very overbearing and isolated her from all her friends and family, including her mother and father. The final straw was early last month when Spencer called the cops on Heidi’s mom when she came to their home wanting to see her daughter.

And now that Heidi is leaving Spencer, she has plans to move in with her best friend Jennifer Bunney and the pair will reportedly star in their very own reality show with filming due to begin in July. Heidi also has plans to get into acting, but she fears that people in Hollywood won’t work with her because of her “loose cannon” husband.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, collectively known as “Speidi” in the world of Pop Culture, got married in April 2009 in a lavish wedding ceremony in Pasadena, CA in front of their friends and relatives. The couple garnered their extremely long 15 minutes fame from the hit MTV reality show “The Hills.”

Reality star Heidi Montag is ready to step up to the plate! The Hills TV star feels as if she can perfectly fill in for Megan Fox‘s role in the upcoming film “Transformers 3.” In a recent tweet, Heidi displayed her admiration for the film’s director Michael Bay:

“Michael Bay I love your work! I know what a artistic brilliant genius you are! Cast me in the next Transformers.”

Michael Bay, who announced earlier this week that actress Megan Fox would be cut from the film, is now looking for someone to play Shia LaBeouf‘s love interest. But will Heidi land the role? Maybe, but first she’s going to have to face someone much bigger and badder than Michael Bay: her father Bill Montag. According to Heidi’s dad, no one has heard a word from Heidi since she called the police on her mom for unexpectedly showing up at her Pacific Palisades home and refusing to leave.

“I still have not heard from Heidi and I don’t think she has contacted her mom either. Obviously, we are really concerned because we just do not know what is going on with her and Spencer right now. We appreciate that people are concerned about our daughter and my message to Heidi right now is: Just pick-up the phone because I’m waiting for your call.”

Heidi and her parents have been feuding for quite some time now and it appears that they still haven’t managed to come to agreeable terms. That sucks! Family should always find a way to work problems out. Oh well…

It’s no secret that reality TV star Heidi Montag is as looney as they come. But in the May 31st issue of Star Magazine, her father says that he’s really worried about Heidi’s well-being with everything that’s going on, including her “addiction” to plastic surgery, her equally crazy husband Spencer Pratt and her messy home.

Heidi’s father Bill Montag tells Star that his daughter and son-in-law’s home is filled with guns, the windows are covered up to block out daylight, there are dirty dishes stacked up in the kitchen and they just let the puppies do their business all over the house.

“I’m worried for her,” Bill Montag — who hasn’t heard from Heidi since March — reveals to Star exclusively. “I’m afraid for her life.” And he isn’t willing to take a wait-and-see approach to the situation. “If I don’t hear from them soon, good or bad, I will take my family and get his family and go there and talk to them,” Bill says. “They can call the police on me too. I want to make sure both of them are OK.”

Heidi and her husband reportedly called the police on Heidi’s mom last week when she showed up “unannounced and unwelcome.” It sounds like Heidi and Spencer are trying to distance themselves from Heidi’s family for whatever reason. This definitely doesn’t sound too good. And what’s up with the dirty dishes in the kitchen and just letting their dogs piss and crap all over the floor? That’s just disgusting!!

Plastic surgery lover Heidi Montag must really not like her mom!

Heidi and her husband Spencer Pratt called the cops to come out to their house Thursday (May 13) claiming that Heidi’s mother showed up unannounced and unwelcome, and refused to leave their property. Heidi told TMZ: “My mom [Darlene Egelhoff] just showed up to the house unannounced … and after what she did to me on national TV, I have no desire to see her.”

Heidi’s referring to a recent episode of “The Hills” in which Darlene told Heidi she did not approve of her plastic surgery. On this week’s episode, Spencer claimed Darlene “tried to rape [Heidi] emotionally.”

Heidi tells us she immediately notified her personal security team when her mom showed up “pounding on the door.” Heidi claims Darlene is currently speaking with police. Montag continues, “Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic.  I’m getting a restraining order against her.”

No arrests were made and Heidi’s mom eventually left the property. But is it just us, or are these people are frikkin’ nuts?!?

According to a new clip from the premiere of the sixth season of MTV‘s hit reality show “The Hills,” which aired on TV last night, Heidi Montag can’t even enjoy a hamburger because she’s had so much plastic surgery done to her face that it hurts to chew! In the clip, Heidi became the butt of her family’s jokes as they made fun of her “new face.”

On The Hills’ sixth season premiere, Heidi Montag’s family grills her about undergoing 10 plastic surgery operations in one day. Her sister Holly tells her she was shocked Heidi, 23, got all the work done because she always had “confidence … I don’t know what happened” Heidi, 23, says she just “wanted to be happier.” But her mom tells Heidi she needs to deal with her “insecurity on a psychological level.”

“You don’t live where I live!” Heidi snaps back. “So should you not live in that area?” her mom asks her.

The extent of Heidi’s surgery is revealed when the reality star tries to eat a burger. “How’s that burger?” her sister asks. “I can’t really chew it,” Heidi says. Flustered, her mom spats, “Want me to put it in a blender for you?”

It is absolutely annoying how all of these Hollyweird celebs are continually getting plastic surgeries done on them to fix areas that they aren’t pleased with.

MTV Reality Star Heidi Montag is the latest celeb to literally screw up her face with her recent session of 10 surgeries in one day. She felt so good about her surgeries that she had the nerve to offer to pay for plastic surgery for her Mother as a gift. Well when the idiotic reality star went  home to visit her mother in Colorado and show off her new face, she was in for a rude awakening. Here’s what Heidi had to say about seeing mother after the 10 surgeries:

“I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did,” Montag said of the homecoming which was filmed for “The Hills.” “She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. It wasn’t like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak.”

Wow… This sad and funny at the same time. Zoo animal? Circus freak? Hilarious! The great thing about this whole situation is that all of it was captured by MTV cameras for the next season of The Hills.

Playboy cover girl Aubrey O’Day says that she’s “excited” about Heidi Montag posing for Playboy, despite the fact that Heidi herself and her husband Spencer danced around the subject recently by speaking in hypothetics.

“I’m excited that Heidi will join the long list of Playboy cover girls!” she told MTV News in a statement. “I hope she enjoyed the shoot and feels as liberated as I did! Good luck!”

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian offered the MTV reality star advice and helped her make the decision to pose for the magazine.

“Actually, I was in Mexico and I got a call from Heidi saying, ‘Call me right now,’” Kardashian told MTV News on Tuesday (June 16). “So I called her and she had said to me, ‘What do you think? What’s your opinion on if I were to do Playboy?’”

Kardashian told her to “go for it.”

“I think that now’s the time,” she said. “I think it’s a very classy magazine. It’s artsy. I talked her through the whole process and helped her make up her mind.”

Of course, Kardashian, who is currently the spokeswoman for Nivea’s “Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini” challenge, wasn’t the only person who helped Heidi make up her mind. Spencer also had a hand in the decision-making process. “Her and Spencer talked it over,” Kardashian said. “They felt like it was the right thing for her to do and I’m anxious to see it.”

Kardashian is confident that Heidi had as good an experience as she did when she posed for the magazine.

“It was a really fun process for me,” she said, adding that getting asked to be on the cover is an “honor.” “I’m excited to see what the pictures will turn out to be.”

Apparently the cat is out of the bag and reality star Heidi Montag from MTV’s “The Hills,” and most recently NBC’s “I’m A Celebrity,” will be posing for the September issue of Playboy Magazine. A source spilled the beans to People Magazine, but didn’t reveal too many details, other than it being “tastefully nude,” while reps for Montag and the magazine itself had no comment.

Meanwhile, Heidi and her husband Spencer Pratt spoke with MTV News early Monday (Jun 15) and even though they didn’t confirm the news, they didn’t necessarily deny it either.

“If I were to do Playboy, it would be a huge honor,” she told MTV News on Monday (June 15), just hours after her and husband Spencer Pratt’s dust-up with Al Roker on the “Today” show. “Many iconic women have done it: Charlize Theron, Sharon Stone did it, Marilyn Monroe. So it’s a very amazing, well-known magazine. I would love to do it, but I would do it very tastefully. I think you would have to see, if I did do it.” (Note: Theron’s photographs were purchased by Playboy and published over the actress’ objections.)

She also explained that even though the talks about God/Christianity via her Twitter, she isn’t worried about her Playboy spread conflicting with her religious beliefs.

“I’m more of a modern Mother Teresa,” she said. “I would take things with moderation. I think God created the body. I think we’re born naked. We die naked. I don’t think it’s something to be ashamed of. I think the body is a beautiful piece of artwork that God created. I have nothing to be ashamed of.”

In keeping with playing this childish game of cat and mouse, her husband Spencer dropped a hint that “hypothetically” the issue will hit stands August 15. And the backlash they’ll most likely receive for it? He’s not worried about it … at all.

“August 15 — hypothetically, if this did happen — you can buy the issue and you can look and see how much Heidi maybe would bare.”

“I live in the backlash,” he said. “Maybe a little bit more — so scared!”

Newly married couple Heidi and Spencer quit on the spot on NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” reports TMZ. A highly placed source in the production crew tipped off the website saying that the two followed through with their threat and walked off the set after the live portion of Monday (June 1) night’s episode.

And to add insult to injury, Spencer’s charity The Red Cross now wants nothing to do with the program. They say what Spencer and his wife did left a bad taste in their mouth, though it’s unclear whether they would have received anything anyway since Heidi and Spencer prematurely quit the show instead of being voted off.

UPDATE: NBC brought Spencer and Heidi, collectively known as “Speidi,” back to the show Wednesday (June 3) after a lot of begging, pleading and praying, as if God doesn’t have enough to worry about these days. But Speidi’s return wasn’t made easy and the decision for them to actually stay and rejoin the competition will, for the most part, be left up to their celebrity counterparts when they vote on Thursday’s (June 4) episode. We won’t know if they’ll be staying until Monday’s (June 8) episode.

The couple also had to sleep an entire night in a chamber with snakes, rats, spiders and other creepy crawlers, which eventually led to Heidi being rushed to the hospital. Of course Spencer tagged along in the ambulance ride and was at her bedside with no questions asked. Neither NBC nor Speidi’s reps have officially relased any statements, but various reports say she suffered a stomach infection. And Stephanie Pratt, Spencer’s younger sister, believes NBC took it way too far, despite Speidi’s “sh*tty antics.” This is what she posted to her Twitter:

Im really saddened to hear that nbc felt it was ok to punish speidi so harshly-and torture them as if they were criminals-that Heidi was rushed to the hospital and has an IV in her arm after being locked in a dark room for 3 days w no food or water.
