The DJ/producer performed his “Where Them Girls At” single along with guest artists Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj. Check it out!

The event, held Sunday night (Aug 28) after the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards to celebrate the release of Wayne’s new album “Tha Carter IV,” also featured appearances from Shaunie O’Neal, Young Money artists DJ Khaled, Shanell and Lil Twist, rapper Flo Rida, TV personality Rob Kardashian, a couple of Jersey Shore cast members, R&B singer Mario and more.

Rapper Flo Rida was popped for DUI in Miami Beach this morning!

According to TMZ, law enforcement officers noticed Flo swerving around in his red and black 2008 Bugatti (valued around $1.7 mil)….and pulled him over around 3:30 AM.

Cops smelled alcohol during the stop, so they gave Flo a field sobriety test … and obviously, he failed it because he was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken to jail where he was booked.

When the officer tried to conduct a “walk the line” test — Flo told the cop, “Officer I can’t do this. I don’t feel I can walk a straight line. I had a few drinks. Let’s try another test.” Flo then tried to convince the officer, “I can make it home.” Cops didn’t let him try.

Flo’s blood alcohol level was .185, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Dwyane Wade had a private party Monday night (Jan 17) to celebrate his 29th birthday at the Wall Lounge nightclub in Miami Beach, Florida. The Miami Heat baller was joined by girlfriend Gabrielle Union, teammate LeBron James, fashion designer Rachel Roy and more. New couple, rapper Flo Rida and model Eva Marcille, even showed up, along with Rocsi Diaz from BET‘s 106 & Park.

During the festivities, Gabrielle Union grabbed the mic and gave a hilarious toast to her boo, who happens to be almost 10 years younger than she is.

“Tonight I just want to say, baby you’re not yet 30, which dammit I can’t wait until you are! …Because it makes me sound a little bit less of a pervert,” the 38-year-old actress joked.

NBA star Dwyane Wade & his new girlfriend actress Gabrielle Union officially announced their status as a couple last weekend during Wade and Alonzo Mourning’s annual “Summer Groove Weekend” in Florida.

The two were spotted walking hand-in-hand on the red carpet of the Summer Groove Benefit Dinner at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Saturday night (Jul 17) in Hollywood, FL and were also seen sitting court side together the next day (Sun. Jul 18) at the Summer Groove All-Star Basketball Game held in Miami at the American Airlines Arena. Dwyane even got bold enough to walk over to Gabby during halftime and planted a wet kiss on his newly announced girlfriend in front of over 10,000 people. Speaking on being able to finally be open with his new relationship, D.Wade said:

“It’s nice to be able to just live your life and not really care about what people are going to say, and just be free,” said Wade, who has also been fighting a lawsuit from a failed restaurant venture. “It is nice that you can just move on with your life. This summer’s been real big for me for that. I’ve been getting a lot of things behind me — and God has continued to bless me — and a lot of it has been positive. It’s been a two-and-a-half, almost three-years hardship. But now it’s going away, and just don’t get myself in anything like this soon and I’ll be fine.”

Oh well… we never really thought they were all that great of a couple anyway!

Meanwhile, Brandy says that even though she’s been going around rapping under alter ego “Bran’Nu” at impromptu concert performances, don’t expect her to come out with a Hip-Hop album anytime soon. The R&B singer herself declared that she will not be changing her careers:

“Maybe two songs (on her new album) feature rap, but I’m not turning into a rapper.”

This will probably be music to her momager Sonja Norwoods’ ears because if you watch their show on VH1, you’ll know that Mrs. Norwood wasn’t feeling Bran’Nu at all. So this is def. a good move for Brandy. She isn’t a horrible rapper, but she would get smashed by the likes of Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, and others. She just doesn’t even come close, so she’s sticking to what made her who she is today… R&B!

R&B singer Brandy confirmed in a recent interview with Vibe Magazine that she and rapper Flo Rida are indeed a couple. She also spoke on taking her time before jumping into relationships, honesty, cheating, being afraid to give her heart away and more. Check out what she had to say below:

My daughter hasn’t seen me with anybody in five years. I’ve been very cautious of who I date because I haven’t really dated in five years, so I’m very, very selective when it comes to that because I want to make sure that it’s real. I don’t want her to see me with just anybody because she means everything to me. So she hasn’t seen me with anybody since my last relationship. I don’t like that women are judged more than men when it comes to dating in the industry. It’s definitely stereotypical. We’re judged and men get praised for what they do.

Dating is hard, period, whether it’s in the industry or not. But it’s just a little bit harder because everybody’s all in your business. Everybody wants to know what’s what and the pictures and the paparazzi, all that stuff is crazy. But it is what it is. I’ve seen the photos of me and Flo Rida. It doesn’t matter how we met. We met. I don’t want to say that we’re a couple. I can definitely say that he’s somebody in my life and I’m definitely interested but I’m not serious with anybody. I’m a little bit afraid to give my heart away right now. It’s very scary. I’m open to it, but I just want to make sure that I’m taking my time.

It’s definitely because of my past and of course because my gut feeling is like, okay take things slow, don’t go too fast, make sure that your heart is in the right place, his heart is in the right place. That’s hard. I don’t want to go too fast and it not be what I want it to be later on.

If you’re a nice guy and you have your stuff together and you believe in family, I don’t care what industry you’re in. But people that are in the entertainment business are scary because there’s so much out there for them. They can get whatever they want and you have to be a strong guy to be in a committed relationship. You have to be strong and ready for that. And I just think if you’re not ready for that, then don’t tell me that you are and you’re not. Don’t be ready. Be honest with a girl. That’s what I told my brother. As long as you’re honest with women, then you’re fine. Then you can do what you want to do, just as long as you’re honest. Don’t tell somebody that they’re your girlfriend and then you go out and act like you don’t have a girlfriend. That’s not right.

So I’m scared in that sense because I don’t play around with the whole cheating thing. Please don’t do that. I don’t like that. At all. I’m so scared of that. I’m scared to give my heart away. I don’t know where to find a good guy. I just think that they’re around and I think you have to be good and at some point you’ll attract that. I really believe that. First, people should stop looking. The looking thing does not work. Just let love find you.

On January 28, she got cozy with rap superstar Flo Rida at Haze Nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. “The two arrived together holding hands and having an intimate conversation,” an onlooker tells In Touch. “They are definitely hooking up.” And that’s not the first time the musical duo were together.

They hung out at the Y100 concert in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in December. And at the Universal Motown Republic Group Grammy bash at the W Los Angeles on January 31, Brandy made sure to stay away from other men and hung out with her pal, singer Kelly Rowland, instead. Brandy only has eyes for Flo Rida. “Guys tried to hit on Brandy and she ignored them,” says an onlooker at the Grey Goose-sponsored event on January 31.

UK pop/R&B singer Alexandra Burke took the stage on the X Factor (the UK’s version of American Idol) to perform her debut single “Bad Boys” feat. Flo Rida, who also joined her on stage. This is the first performance she has done of the song and she owned the stage! Peep the video below:

Wow! She wasn’t joking when she said her idol Beyonce has been giving her pointers and helping her out. She definitely showed she can put on a show. The single has already hit #1 on the UK iTunes Chart and with proper promotion, we see her going far.

Singer Alexandra Burke, the latest winner from the UK’s American Idol esque show, “The X Factor” is opening up about her debut album, Overcome, due in stores October 19th (UK) and October 20th (US). The singer was expected to be put up against the hugely successful Leona Lewis and many expected a ballad as her first single, but she said when she heard “Bad Boys,” she had to put that one out first!

“I think people were expecting a ballad to be honest and I was fighting for a ballad at first until the mix of ‘Bad Boys’ came through and, I was like, ‘this is the first single’. When you hear the up-tempos, you’re going to hear my personality, who I am in the day – I’m a bubbly person, I’m just in-your-face, I probably annoy people at times but I actually don’t care, I talk a lot. I’m really getting to show the crazy chick that’s in there, which is great, because now I can be myself and you’ve got to be true to the game.”

It’s an infectious dance track that we can see being blasted in clubs and cars all over, and it helps that Alex’s voice suits the vibe of the track and she sounds really good on it. Florida natives Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Pitbull and Flo Rida are a part of the group of celebrities providing their support to a special event, scheduled to take place in North Miami, Florida, in honor of Anema.

Organized by original Fat Boys member Prince Markie Dee’s Labor of Love Foundation, 103.5 The Beat, the Community Blood Centers of South Florida and AllHipHop.com, the event hopes to draw find those who stand a chance of being a match for Jasmina.

In addition to Ross, Trick Daddy and Flo-Rida, the event will include appearances from R&B/pop crooner Sean Kingston and Uncle Louie, as well as Ricky Williams of the Miami Dolphins and Ricky Davis of the Miami Heat. Fans will be able to donate blood to the Centers at mobile blood banks as well as visit a tent set up at the Mall to see if they are a match for Jasmina.

Those attending the April 26 event will be treated to free drinks, snacks and pizza as well as a goody bag filled with a free T-shirt and free tickets to the Improv Comedy Club.

Autograph signings, celebrity photo sessions and a raffle for two free five-day/four- night Orlando vacations are also slated to take place with more giveaways to be announced in the days leading up to the event.

Anika will deliver the voice for Disney’s first animated Black princess (Princess Tiana) in their new movie, The Princess and the Frog, set to be release later this year.

Here’s a video premiere from Flo Rida, the guy known as the king of ringtone sales. The video “Magic,” directed by Chris Larcency, comes from Flo’s forthcoming R.O.O.T.S., in stores March 21st 2009. A false story was put out last week saying that Flo Rida had reportedly dropped Chris Brown (like a bad habit) from the roster on his new album R.O.O.T.S. due to the nasty allegations against the pop singer. But Flo Rida wants everyone to know that is NOT the case. In fact, the song had been removed from the album at least a month before the “incident” involving Chris Brown and Rihanna.

The rapper tells Usmagazine.com exclusively that the rumors that he removed a collaborative track with Brown from his upcoming R.O.O.T.S. album — because of the singer’s publicized altercation with Rihanna –are untrue. The reports, which have been published on various sites, quote Rida as saying: “I recorded a great song with Chris. But I won’t be releasing it now because of what’s going on with him and Rihanna. It could have been my next No. 1.” Rida tells Us he never said that.

“I think someone must have got it twisted,” Rida says.

“The thing was, we have deadlines to meet and between his business and my business, things were — we had to turn an album, so I had to really get everything together.” Rida says that the track, “Sweat,” wasn’t even the only song cut from his upcoming album. “It’s not just that record, there were other records that couldn’t make the album that I wanted to make the album as well, but that was the process — this was way before me ever hearing anything about [Brown allegedly beating Rihanna]. This was way before, at least a month. I had been done with this record.”

Would he ever work with Brown in the future?

“He’s a talented artist, so I looked forward to working with him,” he tells Us. “And I thought it was a hot song.”
