Chaka Khan — who is celebrating a recent 60-pound weight loss — hit the stage Wednesday night (May 23) during the live “American Idol” finale wearing a sparkly, figure-hugging catsuit just like Fantasia. But Chaka actually looked good in hers. (Sorry, Tasia!)

The 59-year-old music legend performed a medley of her hits, including “Ain’t Nobody” and “Through the Fire” and also joined in with other female “Idol” finalists for a big group performance of “I’m Every Woman.” (Watch below)

And the Twitterverse’s reaction to her catsuit was more positive than their response to Fantasia’s.

Fantasia Barrino shocked viewers — and not in a good way — when she hit the stage Wednesday night (May 23) to perform on “American Idol” during the show’s finale.

Dressed in a really tight black sequin catsuit — with a split down both sides of her legs that showed off her post-baby body (and not in a good way) — the R&B songstress sang a gospel-infused version of Elton John’s “Take Me to the Pilot” with former Idol finalist Joshua Ledet, who is often called the “male version of Fantasia” and considers the singer to be the biggest inspiration in his life. But back to that catsuit…

While Fantasia might have thought her outfit was “cute” … most viewers did not. And they made sure to let it be known via Twitter, with one user calling the outfit the “worst article of clothing anyone has ever worn.” (Ouch!)

Remember when Wendy Williams went in on Fantasia back in January about her “relationship” and new baby with Antwaun Cook? Well it looks like she’s done it again!

On Monday’s (Mar 12) episode of her talk show, Williams showed some “tough love” to Fantasia once again, in light of the recent rumors of the singer’s married baby daddy getting back with his wife Paula Cook.

It’s tough love time again. Antwaun is allegedly cheating on Fantasia with his estranged wife Paula, but there’s a phrase that goes ‘How you get him is how you’ll lose him’ Fantasia.

I hate talking about this girl. I honestly do, but I’m coming from the place of the wife, so I really … like women like that … just like … are you serious?

And men like that too! But it takes two to tango, and we as the smarter sex are supposed to know better, Fantasia.

And then, not only that … but you got pregnant by a man who works at a T-Mobile store with two kids already and an ex-wife, you knowing yourself that your finances aren’t so good to be able to support him like that? I’m just saying!

Here’s a first look at Fantasia’s son with Antwaun Cook!

Fantasia Barrino gave birth to a son she named Dallas Xavier Barrino in December of last year following a very private pregnancy, which was the result of an affair the R&B singer had with a married man named Antwaun Cook.

You know the story. Fantasia met Antwaun in her hometown Charlotte, North Carolina. Despite the fact that he was married, Fantasia and Antwaun continued to see each other and had sex. She got pregnant, then had an abortion.

Once word got out about the affair, the American Idol winner tried to kill herself by overdosing on a bottle of pain pills.

In the months that followed, Fantasia promoted the release of a new album, and was on the verge of nabbing a starring role in a biopic about gospel legend Mahalia Jackson, however all of that fell apart after rumors broke out that she was pregnant with another baby by Antwaun.

At first, Fantasia vehemently denied the pregnancy rumors, crediting her recent weight gain to her “preparing” for her movie role, however, months later, she confirmed at an event in Florida that she was indeed with child.

Fast forward to now, and Fantasia and Antwaun are NOT on good terms. According to recent reports, Cook is now reportedly “cheating” on Fantasia with his estranged wife Paula Cook. (SMH: The jokes write themselves!)

And now, according to a new report from BallerAlert.com, Antwaun is apparently cheating on both Fantasia AND Paula with ANOTHER woman who decided to send in a photograph of Antwaun pictured with his newborn son Dallas, along with the following juicy story:

So, a source very close to the situation spills a little tea on the relationship of Antwaun Cook, Paula Cook and Fantasia Barrino. The Source says that according to Antwaun, he has been trying to leave Fantasia for some time now but Fantasia continues to beg and cry to be with him.

Fantasia lost her home and had to move back to her first house and Antwaun did not follow behind. Fantasia cries that Antwaun isn’t trying to make it work. He claims he doesn’t like the way she treats people and he’ll never go back (although many times he’s slept in her home and said he was “there to see his son”.)

There have been incidents when Fantasia has shown up at Antwaun’s home crying and banging on the door and he wouldn’t let her in. Our Source knows because she is the woman Antwaun is seeing now.

She claims Antwaun is very charming and she can see why Fantasia would fall for him but in the end “he ain’t sh-t”. She makes references to rumors that Antwaun may be trying to get back with Paula, his still not ex-wife, saying that they were recently at a party together and it’s very likely Antwaun and his estranged wife hooked up that night.

Speaking of parties, Antwaun hasn’t attended a single CIAA party with Fantasia although he was definitely spotted around town.

Fantasia Barrino stepped out in Charlotte, NC during CIAA weekend for the first time since giving birth to a son nearly 3 months ago.

Dressed in a rather interesting get-up (a velvet catsuit with her stomach exposed), the R&B singer was spotted hanging out with reality TV star NeNe Leakes and a few others.

In the photos, Fantasia appears to be smiling and laughing, and having a good time, however behind closed doors, she probably isn’t so happy.

According to an exclusive report from Radar Online, Fantasia’s married baby daddy Antwaun Cook is “having second thoughts” about being with the American Idol winner, and wants to go back to his wife Paula! (You know … the same woman Antwaun cheated on to be with Fantasia, who he had a baby with)

According to a family insider, Antwaun regrets giving up on Paula and their two children and while Paula is very hurt by what he did to their family, she’s not exactly staying away from him either.

“Paula and Antwaun both ended up at Club RE:Public in Charlotte over the weekend and things got a little cozy between the two,” the source said. “I don’t know where Fantasia was, but she definitely wasn’t in the club where they were!”

The source continued by saying that while Paula was receptive, she was still a little gun-shy with all the PDA.

“Antwaun was shoving his tongue down her throat and she kept having to push him away without trying to make a scene,” the source explained. “He told Paula that she belongs to him because she’s still his wife!”

Fantasia and Antwaun first started dating in early 2010 when he was still married to Paula. After Paula filed a homewrecking claim against Fantasia, the R&B singer tried to kill herself by overdosing on pain pills.

“What Fantasia doesn’t know is that through all of this, Paula hasn’t changed the locks on the house she once shared with Antwaun,” the source revealed. “And Antwaun still has keys, so you can put two and two together.”

The source goes on to reveal to Radar that Antwaun is no longer interested in Fantasia, and doesn’t care if she knows that he is getting back together with his wife.

“Antwaun has lost interest in Fantasia,” the insider said. “He was even egging people on to take pictures of him and Paula together…he didn’t care who knew.”

Talk show host Wendy Williams doesn’t pull ANY punches as she gives Fantasia some much needed advice regarding her “relationship” and new baby with Antwaun Cook.

“Fantasia you knew he was married and unavailable to you when you started sleeping with him,” Wendy says in her 3 minute long rant. “Fantasia, I don’t know whether it was a broken condom or maybe you miscounted the days if you happen to take a pill… you had control over this entire situation.”

“As a wife, and I always root for the wife, you were dead wrong for this one Fantasia,” Wendy continued. “Fantasia you haven’t sung in ages. You’ve got a family that blood sucks financially off of you and you weren’t in a position to have another child, especially with a married man who already has two kids that works at the T-Mobile store. He’s not going to marry you because it’s cheaper not to divorce his own wife, unless you go multi-Platinum.”

We have to admit Wendy may have went in a little too hard … but we can’t say she was all the way wrong neither!

It’s a boy for R&B singer Fantasia!

Looks like Christmas came a little early for Fantasia Barrino and her family, because according to confirmed reports, the “American Idol” season 3 winner gave birth to a baby boy named Dallas Zavier Barrino Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital in North Carolina.

Dallas, who is the younger brother to Fantasia’s 10-year-old daughter Zion, weighed in at 7 lbs, 9 oz and was 21 inches long.

“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support,” Fantasia said in a statement.

Fantasia first shared the news of her pregnancy back in August at a charity concert in Florida.

“You are the first persons that I share this news with,” the singer told the crowd. “And I share this with you because I can relate to you. And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don’t live my life for folk.”

A year before that announcement, the R&B singer admitted that she was having an affair with a married man from Charlotte, NC named Antwaun Cook. Around that time she had also overdosed in an apparent suicide attempt, which kicked of a long year-and-a-half for 27-year-old Barrino, who initially denied knowing her boyfriend Antwaun was married.

In November 2010, the singer confessed in a court hearing to aborting a baby she had conceived with Cook around the time she tried to commit suicide.

According to court records, Barrino later testified in that she knew from the first day of her relationship with Cook that he was married and still living with his wife Paula.

Fast forward to a year later and now the “couple” are “proud parents” to a baby boy. (Umm … congrats, we guess?)

Just a couple of months back, in October, Fantasia had a baby shower attended by her family and close friends, including singers Kandi Burruss, Lil Mo and Anthony Hamilton, and S2S magazine publisher Jamie Foster Brown. The shower was reportedly held on the same day as Antwaun Cook and his estranged wife Paula’s wedding anniversary.

Fantasia called in to “The Wendy Williams Show” earlier this week (Tue. Oct 11) to set the record straight about her pregnancy and the rumors surrounding about Mahalia Jackson‘s estate no longer wanting her to play the legendary gospel singer on account of her being pregnant by a married man.

As we previously reported, Fantasia is pregnant by her (still married) boyfriend Antwaun Cook. And now we are hearing that R&B singer will be having a boy, as well as a baby shower — on a very “special” day — to celebrate.

According to Radar Online, Fantasia Barrino’s baby shower to celebrate the birth of her new son will be held on October 1st, which ironically, is Antwaun’s wedding anniversary with his estranged wife Paula!

“Fantasia is really taking every opportunity she can to stick it to Antwaun’s ex,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “She’s planning her baby shower for October 1, which is Antwaun’s wedding anniversary with Paula. It’s the low of lows.”

The source continued, “By planning her baby shower for that day, both Antwaun and Fantasia are showing complete disregard for Paula. She’s already been through enough with everything that’s went down.”

Although this will Fantasia and Antwaun’s first child together, this is not the first time she’s been pregnant by him. Just last year, Fantasia admitted during a separation hearing between Antwaun and Paula that she had previously had been pregnant by Antwaun, and had an abortion.

Fantasia, who is already the mother of a 9-year-old daughter named Zion, announced that she was expecting her second child with Antwaun Cook last month during a charity concert in Jacksonville, FL earlier this month.

Fanny and Twaun were spotted in the middle of a romantic get-away on the beaches of Barbados following a concert Fantasia performed there over the weekend. And by the looks of these pictures, either Fantasia is carrying Antwaun’s baby … or she’s really serious about packing on the pounds to star as Mahalia Jackson in the upcoming biopic about her life.

Aretha sent the following message to USA Today:

“I was sorry to hear that Fantasia was upset because she did not get the opportunity to participate in my Grammy Tribute this year. I recall that in the past, Fantasia participated in both my MusicCares Person of the Year Tribute and my United Negro College Fund Tribute. Fantasia is still young in the business and although we all love and appreciate her she must understand that in this business of show business she will not always get to participate in everything she would like participate in. I’m sure it was not an intentional omission. I will see Fantasia over the summer here in Detroit.”

Fantasia Barrino was noticeably absent from this year’s Grammy Awards. Her reasoning? Because Grammy organizers neglected to invite her to participate in the Aretha Franklin tribute!

The R&B artist called in to BET’s 106 & Park Monday (Feb 14) and gave an explanation on why she chose to stay home instead of attending the biggest night in music.

“They were honoring someone who is my idol, Aretha Franklin, and there is no way I could have sat there and not got the happy feet and wanting to jump on the mic because she is my favorite, so I felt like, you know, at the end of the day I should have been on that stage, so, I kind of did my own little thing last night.”

The “American Idol” winner ended up winning a trophy for “Best Female Vocal Performance,” but obviously wasn’t there to pick up her first Grammy. Still, Fantasia says she was ecstatic to finally win a Grammy Award after 11 nominations.

“Actually I scared my daughter because I just bust out and started crying, and she thought something was wrong with me. You know it’s been a long time coming.”

Pop diva Christina Aguilera, R&B singer Jennifer Hudson and gospel performer Yolanda Adams were among the ladies who saluted an absent Aretha Franklin at the Grammys.

We’re not ones to judge … but we think it’s a little “petty” for Fantasia to skip out on the Grammys just because they didn’t invite her to perform in a tribute to Aretha Franklin, which is something she’s already done before.

Fantasia Barrino has been forced to do a little damage control this week after rumors suggested that the “American Idol” winner was pregnant.

While the singer/actress does admit to gaining weight, it’s not because she’s pregnant. In fact, her manager Brian Dickens says that her recent weight gain was for her lead role in the upcoming Mahalia Jackson biopic.

“Fantasia is 100% not pregnant. The only thing she’s pregnant with is prosperity,” Dickens told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. “In fact, she’s just signed on to play the lead in Mahalia and has been told to gain 30 to 45 pounds for the role.”

As we previously reported, Fantasia will play Mahalia Jackson in a feature-film adaption of the 1993 book “Got to Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel,” which will recount the life of the singer, who was also a civil rights activist and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The biopic is scheduled to go into production this April and is scheduled to be released in December.

Fantasia Barrino just landed the lead role in a biopic about late gospel singer Mahalia Jackson!

The multi-talented performer will play Mahalia Jackson in a feature-film adaptation of the 1993 book “Got to Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel,” which will recount the life of the singer, who was also a civil rights activist and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Fantasia will portray Jackson’s journey from poverty in New Orleans to her rise as a gospel superstar and early supporter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mahalia Jackson passed away in 1972 at the age of 60.

This marks Barrino’s first feature-film lead role since she played Celie in the broadway version of “The Color Purple.” The 26-year-old “American Idol” winner also played herself in the 2006 Lifetime biopic “Life is Not a Fairy Tale: The Fantasia Barrino Story,” which was based on an autobiography she released just 1 year prior.

The new Mahalia Jackson biopic is scheduled to go into production in April in Pittsburgh and Chicago and is being prepped for a December release.

Fantasia was right all along! Turns out, Antwaun Cook and his now ex wife Paula really were separated when he and Fantasia started hooking up earlier this year.

Full details are below:

According to Radar Online, a North Carolina judge ruled in favor of Antwaun in his divorce proceedings against Paula this week after the court found out that they were legally separated as of September 14th, 2009. Up until now, Paula has adamantly claimed that she and Antwaun weren’t separated until June 2010.

So in other words…Fantasia and Antwaun DID NOT have an affair, because when you’re “legally separated,” you’re technically considered to be “single.” So we guess Fantasia isn’t a homewrecker after all!

Wonder what effect this will have on that “Alien of Affection” lawsuit Paula’s trying to file against Fantasia?

The Detroit born rapper has an impressive 10 nominations, while R&B newcomer Bruno Mars scored 7, and Jay-Z and Lady Gaga each snagged 6.

Fantasia is currently in court in North Carolina defending her claim that she didn’t know her married lover Antwaun Cook was still with his wife when they started seeing each other earlier this year. In court at Antwaun’s child custody case hearing yesterday (Mon. Nov 22), the “American Idol” Season 3 winner admitted that she got pregnant by Antwaun and had an abortion around the time she tried to commit suicide.

In court, Fantasia faced several questions, and wwas asked if she knew Antwaun was living with his wife Paula Cook when they initially began seeing each other. The singer acknowledged that she dated Cook “off an don for about 11 months,” but she says she was under the impression that he and his wife were separated.

But if Antwaun Cook and his wife were “legally separated,” why did they have to check into a hotel room together? That’s the question Paula’s lawyers asked Fantasia when they mentioned a hotel rendezvous that took place just a few days after Fantasia and Antwaun first met.

“Paula’s lawyer is arguing that they got the room because she knew he was still married,” one onlooker who was inside the court told Radar Online.

Reporters weren’t allowed in the courtroom and witnesses were asked to leave as Fantasia took the stand, but sources close to the situation confirmed Fantasia’s testimony to Radar.

Wow!! Fantasia was getting it in like that?? We had no idea…

Fantasia met up with her boyfriend’s estranged wife Paula Cook earlier this month to privately settle their very public dispute……but according to RadarOnline.com, things didn’t go so well.

Sources close to the situation says the two ladies met for almost half a day in private mediation to discuss the possibility of keeping the details of Fantasia and Antwaun Cook‘s alleged affair out of the courts. But since Fantasia wouldn’t admit to Paula that she was sleeping with her husband while they were still together, Paula has decided to move forward with the “Alienation of Affection” civil lawsuit she brought against Fantasia a few months back when all of this came to light.

“Fantasia and Paula were in mediation for nearly 12 hours on November 1,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.“They didn’t settle because Fantasia refuses to acknowledge that she was aware of Paula’s marriage to Antwaun when she started dating him, and Paula is adamant that she knew.”

“Fantasia was prepared to pay Paula as much as $100,000 to settle during their mediation, but it fell through,” another source told RadarOnline.com. “Paula plans on going all the way and is going to sue Fantasia for Alienation of Affection.”

The source says Fantasia and Paula are set to meet again on November 22nd in a North Carolina courthouse where we’re willing to bet things are going to get REALLY nasty.

Fantasia should have went on ahead ahead and told that woman what she wanted to hear, and admit that she was sleeping with her husband so we all can move on from this. SMH…
