For future reference, if your friends dare you to jump into some random puddle of water, just say no!

In video footage that has gone viral, a teenager and his friends come across a puddle outside a “Family Dollar” store. Of course, teenagers will be teenagers, and one of the guys dared their friend to jump into said puddle with his brand new shoes for $1.

So the boy took up the challenge — “for the kids,” of course — but what he didn’t know, is that the so-called “puddle” wasn’t even a puddle at all! He found that out as soon as he jumped into it, and he almost drowned because that “puddle” was actually a small sink-hole.

Pretty scary, indeed, but he managed to quickly pull himself out before anything bad happened, while his friends laughed hysterically in the background.

Kids, don’t try this at home.

YouTube is filled with countless Beauty Gurus and many of them have deservedly earned a devoted following. Others, however, give laughable advice. Case in point, a tween by the name of Tori Locklear.

The cutesy blonde recently posted an instructional video that goes awry. In it, she uses a curling iron on a small potion of of her hair and a short moment later, it burns completely off.

Utterly shocked, she has a look of horror on her face once she realizes what has happened.

While thicker hair can withstand the heat longer, Locklear’s main mistake was leaving the dangerously hot curling iron on her hair for over 20 seconds when it should only be used on thin hair (like hers) for just 5 to 10 seconds at a time.

The chemicals in the product Split Remedy may have also played a part in weakening the hair as it may have been flammable.

It’s unclear why she decided to go ahead and post the video anyway, but at least young girls will be able to watch it and learn how to avoid frying their hair until it falls out.

The video, titled “Burning My Hair Off — ORIGINAL VIDEO — (Hair Tutorial Gone Wrong)” currently has close to 3 million views.

While many have chosen to post insults in the comments section below the video, it seems many women find Locklear’s decision to post it refreshing.

“You are the coolest chick to post that. Had to be awful for you, but soooo funny for us! You rock,” wrote one user.

Another wrote, “Good on you Tori for seeing the funny side of that & being brave enough to put it online. I probably would have been hysterical if that had happened to me,lol. But thank-you for making me laugh a lot today! ;)”

Well, would you look at that. Not too long after Lindsay Lohan used Twitter to express her ‘disappointment’ with how California police are handling Amanda Bynes and her driving issues … Lindsay was arrested in New York City for her own driving issues.

According to multiple reports, the troubled actress was booked after she allegedly scraped a man’s knee with her car outside Manhattan’s Dream Downtown hotel, and then left the scene.

Sources told the New York Daily News Lindsay was driving really slow and honking her horn to tell people to get out of the way. But one man, 34-year-old Jose Rodriguez, paid Lindsay no mind, and was was hit in the knee.

Rodriguez, who is a chef, told police he was just leaving work when he “saw this car come real quick and hit me.”

“I was in so much pain,” he said. “I fell to the side.”

But an NYPD source told The Daily News that Rodriguez, who was barely scraped, is overreacting. Video surveillance footage shows Lohan blinking her headlights at people in her path, and Rodriguez walked right in front of her.

“There’s contact — slight contact,” the source said. “Then he realizes what’s happened. He doesn’t go down. He takes off after the car.”

After the incident, Lindsay and her friends continued on their way into the hotel, while the victim called 911. On her way out of the hotel a few hours later, Lindsay was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, which is a misdemeanor.

Lindsay was taken to the station, fingerprinted and photographed before being released with a desk appearance ticket, according to TMZ‘s sources.

The so-called “victim,” was taken to the hospital by ambulance, but didn’t have any visible injuries.

Meanwhile, Lindsay is telling her friends that she didn’t know she had hit someone and committed a “hit and run” until after she came out of the hotel and was immediately arrested.

She also says that the guy’s claims are “really fishy” and believes that she’s the victim of a setup. But then again, Lindsay always thinks people’s claims are fishy, and she’s the victim of a setup. That’s how it is when you think the whole world is out to get you.

But regardless of whether or not Lindsay did or didn’t do anything wrong … the timing of her arrest couldn’t be more ironic. Just this past Sunday, Lohan tweeted, in reference to fellow road demon Amanda Bynes:

And following Lindsay’s arrest just a few days later, Amanda told her friends that Lohan got what she deserved.

But we’ve gotta ask…

If Chief Keef isn’t going around giving half-assed interviews, calling Lil Wayne a “homo,” or tweeting insensitive remarks about a young rapper’s shooting death (and then claiming “I got hacked!“) … he’s posting inappropriate pics on Instagram for his teen fan base to see. (What a role model!)

Over the weekend, Keef tweeted a lewd photo of himself receiving oral sex from a female fan … who doesn’t look very female-ish, we must add.

Keef later attempted to delete the image, but by then, it was too late. Many of his followers had already took a screenshot and/or retweeted it.

So for the sake of all young people and the rest of humanity, Instragram shut down Keef’s account and banned him from the photo-sharing social network.

Keef, of course, wasn’t happy about this at all and tweeted:

Republican politicians never cease to surprise you. If uber-white bread vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan told you he once dated a black girl, would you believe him?

Well, the photographic evidence has arrived.

Meet Deneeta Pope. That’s her above, the cheery black girl sitting on the white man’s lap (that’s not Ryan, btw) in that photo from her cheerleading days at Miami University in Ohio.

According to The Daily Mail, Ryan and Pope dated while they were  both attending the college and Ryan suffered a backlash from people he considered his friends for dating a black girl.

Back in 2005, Ryan admitted to dating Pope and offered a vague account of the racial discrimination he suffered as a result of his interracial relationship.

“My college sweetheart was black … I just experienced some ugly comments, some racist views from people who I thought were friends of mine.”

He also had a black sister-in-law, as his brother married a black woman. So Ryan knows how to handle himself around a sista.

Pope has long since moved on from Ryan. There’s no word on how long their love affair really lasted, but there must’ve been some kind of lasting bond because she donated to his congressional campaign in 1997 and she refused to dish dirt on Ryan out of loyalty when The Daily Mail came calling for comments.

Of course, Ryan dating black women doesn’t automatically mean he doesn’t harbor racist views. After all, there are plenty of men who hate women, but still date women.

And Thomas Jefferson owned black slaves even though he was sneaking out back to bang Sally Hemings’ negro brains out behind his wife’s back.

Nonetheless, kudos to Ryan for expanding his horizons at one point in his life and embracing that jungle fever.

A South Carolina mother is facing child neglect charges after police say she left her 3-year-old daughter inside a Walmart while she slept outside in the parking lot.

Spartanburg County Deputies told WYFF4 that they responded to a 911 call about a child left unattended in a shopping cart inside the store just after 10 pm Monday night (Aug 27).

When deputies arrived, they were told by store employees that a woman was captured on surveillance video leaving the child in the shopping cart, and walking right out of the store.

The surveillance footage also showed a woman pushing a shopping cart with the girl in it, then walking away from the cart and out of the camera’s view, the Spartanburg Herald Journal reported.

According to the police report, the abandoned child told the police officers that her mother — who she called “Kim” –  was in the bathroom, but they weren’t able to find her there, and no one responded to several intercom announcements about a lost child in the store.

The police report says that officers found a purse in the shopping cart that contained a wallet with a birth certificate and social security card belonging to 28-year-old Kimberly Nicole Brewer. An investigator also reportedly found a substance in the wallet that tested positive for methamphetamine.

The little girl was taken into protective custody, and about five hours later, at around 3 in the morning, Walmart employees called police and told them that Brewer had come back into the store and confessed to them that she had been asleep in her car … and when she woke up, she realized her purse and her daughter were missing.

In addition to the child neglect charges, Brewer — who was booked into the Spartanburg County jail — was also charged with possession of meth.

CNN and Fox News lost major credibility points Thursday (Jun 28) when they wrongly reported on the Supreme Court’s ruling of Obamacare — President Barack Obama‘s healthcare reform plan.

The race to be the first to report on the news caused both networks to trip up, and falsely report that “The Affordable Care Act,” informally referred to as Obamacare, had been struck down.

CNN said on all of its platforms — including their TV network, website and all of their social media profiles — that the law was “unconstitutional,” as did Fox News.

“Supreme Ct. Kills Individual Mandate,” was flashed across the screen on CNN. “Mandate struck down,” CNN.com erroneously reported.

The headline on Fox News read, “Supreme Court Finds Health Care Individual Mandate Unconstitutional.”

The networks even had President Obama thinking that the Supreme Court had overturned his signature health care law.

Like many Americans, the president was watching CNN and FOX News when they incorrectly reported that his health care law was found unconstitutional … and it wasn’t until White House counsel Kathy Ruemmler gave him a double-thumbs-up that he realized that two of the biggest cable news channels in the country had got it wrong.

Politico.com reported:

Obama was confused by the cognitive dissonance of what he was hearing from Ruemmler and what he was seeing on TV. For a few seconds, he gazed at the monitors quizzically, and eventually decided to trust his staff over CNN, according to a senior administration official. When the reality hit, he padded into the Oval Office, where he embraced Ruemmler and, eventually hugged his laconic chief of staff, Jack Lew.

Several wire services correctly reported that the mandate had been upheld even before CNN and Fox News incorrectly reported that it had been struck down. Bloomberg prided itself on being the very first news source to break the news, bragging that they broke the story 12 seconds before Reuters, and 26 seconds before The Associated Press.

A headline on Gawker read: “Let’s Never Stop Watching This Video of CNN and Fox Getting the Obamacare Ruling Wrong.” Max Read, the author of the post, simply wrote: “Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Hahahahaha. Hahahahahahahahaha,” and even followed up with his own comment: “Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahaha hahahahaha.”

CNN and Fox News quickly tried to correct their error, but the damage had already been done. Blogs and social networks lit up with posts and comments, mocking the news networks for their foolish mistake.

CNN tried their best to explain what went wrong with the following statement:

“In his opinion, Chief Justice Roberts initially said that the individual mandate was not a valid exercise of Congressional power under the Commerce Clause. CNN reported that fact, but then wrongly reported that therefore the court struck down the mandate as unconstitutional.

“However, that was not the whole of the Court’s ruling. CNN regrets that it didn’t wait to report out the full and complete opinion regarding the mandate. We made a correction within a few minutes and apologize for the error.”

Fox News, as expected, did not issue an apology. The only thing the network had to offer as an explanation for their flub was the following long winded statement from their executive vice president Michael Clemente:

“We gave our viewers the news as it happened. When Justice Roberts said, and we read, that the mandate was not valid under the Commerce clause, we reported it. Bill Hemmer even added, ‘be patient as we work through this.’ Then when we heard and read, that the mandate could be upheld under the government’s power to tax, we reported that as well-all within two minutes.

“By contrast, one other cable network was unable to get their Supreme Court reporter to the camera, and said as much. Another said it was a big setback for the President. Fox reported the facts, as they came in.”

An anonymous network veteran over at CNN reportedly told BuzzFeed.com that the incident was “f**king humiliating … We had a chance to cover it right. And some people in here don’t get what a big deal getting it wrong is,” he said. “Morons.”

Just so you know … the complex Supreme Court decision found that ObamaCare, which requires Americans to buy health insurance or pay a penalty, was unconstitutional under the Commerce Clause … but Chief Justice John Roberts preserved the mandate, by finding that the penalty is valid as a tax.

In other words, ObamaCare was justified as a tax, which means that Americans will be required to purchase health insurance, similar to how you are required to purchase car insurance (if you own a car) and homeowner’s insurance (if you own/rent a home).

Of course, since this is the land of the free and the home of the brave, you are free to not purchase health insurance … but prepare to be taxed $695 (or 2.5% of your taxable income — whichever is greater) as a penalty.

North Korea went against international warnings and decided to launch a long-rage rocket into the air on Thursday (Apr 12). Or at least they tried to.

U.S. officials say the the rocket broke apart shortly after launch, which means that their rogue mission was a total and complete #FAIL!

Japan was prepared to shoot down any rocket flying over its territory, and officials there say the rocket wasn’t even in the air for a full minute before it fell into the ocean.

“We have confirmed that a certain flying object has been launched and fell after flying for just over a minute,” Japan’s Defense Minister Naoki Tanaka said. He said there was no impact on Japanese territory.

According to the U.S. military, the missile fell into the sea west of South Korea and posed no threat to any landmasses.

International leaders urged North Korea to cancel the launch, but they went ahead with it anyway against everyone’s wishes, insisting that the rocket launch was for peaceful purposes only.

Prior to the launch, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice said, “The wise thing would be for North Korea to avoid this provocative and ill-considered action, which is in blatant violation of international law and their international obligations.”

Officials in Pyongyang, North Korea said that the rocket was going to be used to simply launch a weather satellite into orbit.

However, officials in the US, South Korea and other countries believe the North Koreans are using this purported “rocket launch” as a cover-up to test a ballistic missile armed with a nuclear warhead capable of hitting United States soil.

After the failed launch, the White House called North Korea’s actions “provocative” and said that what they did threatens regional security, violates international laws and was a total breach of trust internationally.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement:

“Despite the failure of its attempted missile launch, North Korea’s provocative action threatens regional security, violates international law and contravenes its own recent commitments.

“While this action is not surprising given North Korea’s pattern of aggressive behavior, any missile activity by North Korea is of concern to the international community.

“The United States remains vigilant in the face of North Korean provocations, and is fully committed to the security (of) our allies in the region.”

The last time North Korea carried out a “satellite launch” was in April 2009, and at the time, the U.N. Security Council condemned the action and demanded that it not be repeated.

Before this week’s launch, U.N. diplomats warned the North Koreans that they could face further isolation from the rest of the world if it went ahead it.

“This launch will give credence to the view that North Korean leaders see improved relations with the outside world as a threat to the existence of their system,” U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said this week. “And recent history strongly suggests that additional provocations may follow.”

“Pyongyang has a clear choice: It can pursue peace and reap the benefits of closer ties with the international community, including the United States; or it can continue to face pressure and isolation,” Clinton said.

North Korea heavily promoted their launch in an attempt to draw attention to the country as a show of its strength amid economic hardship as their new young leader Kim Jong Un adjusts to his position of power following the death of his father Kim Jong Il four months ago.

It’s no secret that minus that heavily promoted Bobbi Kristina interview … Oprah Winfrey’s new TV network “OWN” has been struggling to pull in viewers since its January 2011 launch. And Oprah Winfrey herself now admits that starting her “OWN” TV network was a BIG mistake.

Speaking on “The Early Show” Monday (Apr 2) on CBS, along with her good friend Gayle King, Oprah opened up about the difficulty in starting the network.

“The idea of creating a network was something that I wanted to do. Had I known that it was this difficult, I might have done something else. I didn’t think it was going to be easy, but if I knew then what I know now, I might have made different choices. If I were writing a book about it, I could call the book ’101 Mistakes.”

Oprah also compared her decision to launch the network when she did to “having the wedding when you know you’re not ready.”

However, Oprah says Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels warned her of the battles she would possibly face concerning her decision to go out on her own.

Winfrey said he told her, “No one wants to see you come off The Oprah Winfrey Show of all those 25 years of success and step right into the network business: You’ve got to pay your dues.”

Now, Oprah says if she could do it over:

“I would have probably waited until I actually finished ‘The Oprah Show.’ Because from the day that (Discovery Communications boss) David Zaslav came in to see me, I said to him, ‘The thing that I’m worried about who’s going to lead this train because I can’t do it.’”

Last month, Winfrey had to lay off 30 members of her staff (about 20% of her employees), and she also canceled Rosie O’Donnell’s talk show after just one season.

Winfrey calls the restructuring of her new company “the most painful” decision she had to make. She also revealed she did not personally fire the employees, but that Human Resources did the job.

So how does Oprah feel about “OWN” now?

“Actually, I feel better about our network own today than I ever have,” she said.

A New York City mother was thrown in jail earlier this week after she abandoned her two young daughters on a street in Brooklyn in the cold with just a few diapers on the clothes on their backs.

26-year-old Dalisha Adams from Brooklyn, NYC was cuffed late Sunday night after two women called police earlier in the day after they found her two daughters — 3-year-old Dioni and 5-year-old Domini — alone in front of a housing complex Sunday afternoon.

Due to their extremely young age, the toddlers were said to be (obviously) completely unaware of the situation at hand, and seemed shaken up and visibly confused as to why their mother would just leave them in the street to fend for themselves.

To make matters even worse, according to the NY Daily News, the street where Dalisha Adams abandoned her daughters is right down the street from where their paternal grandmother lives.

“I would have took them,” said the girl’s grandmother Bertha Davis, who told the Daily News that she didn’t even know what was going on until she read the story on the front page of the paper.

Davis says her son Shawn Cobbs (the girls’ father, who has been accused by Adams of domestic violence) had an argument with Adams over the kids early Sunday.

“She wanted him to take the kids, and he told her he didn’t have a stable place to take the kids,” Davis said. “She must have got mad, dressed them kids and brought them here.”

There were no signs of physical abuse, though neighbors said Adams was known to curse and yell at the kids, and was overheard screaming at the girls just hours before she ditched them on the side of the road just a mile-and-a-half away from their home.

“She was always yelling at the kids, ‘Shut the f**k up,’” one neighbor said. “One day, I heard her curse out the little baby, ‘I’ll punch you in the f**king face.’”

The woman, who did not want to be identified, told the NY Daily News that she heard lots of shouting early Sunday afternoon right before the girls were abandoned.

“A kid was crying. She was saying, ‘Stop crying, shut the f**k up. I’m gonna get you out of here,” she said.

Other neighbors said that the girls were always clean and well dressed, but said their psycho mom would often shout at them and yank their arms.

Police say on Sunday, Adams drove the children nearly two miles away from their home in Brooklyn, and dropped them off near some housing projects where two elderly women found the young girls wandering up and down the street in the cold holding their diapers.

The older girl told the women her name was Domini and her little sister’s name was Dioni, and they lived in a “blue house with flowers in front of it on 53rd street,” but she was unable to tell them the exact borough of the city.

“Mommy just left us on the sidewalk and drove away,” 5-year-old Domini told them.

She also said that her mother’s name was Dalisha and she drove a white car. “She left [us] and she drove off,” 3-year-old Dioni told the women.

“They were calm but they were just huddled close together,” New York City police officer Edgard Centeno said. “They were standing by each other very close. They were, I guess, a little afraid that they were alone.”

Dalisha Adams was arrested after she abandoned her two daughters nearly 2 miles away from their home in Brooklyn, New York.

Police finally ID’d the children at around 10 p.m. that night, and us used a crowbar to break the door down at Breukelen Houses apartment where they say Adams lives with her two daughters.

They say an 8-year-old daughter was also staying in the home with her aunt, but Adams was nowhere to be found at the time.

Adams, who works as a security guard, apparently heard through an intermediary that cops were looking for her, and turned herself in at the NYC police precinct at around 11:30 p.m. that night.

Dalisha Adams was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, and her girls are now in the custody of Children’s Services.

While in Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show to promote his new headphones, 50 Cent also posted a series of pictures of himself with his good friend, boxer Floyd Mayweather, posing with wads and wads (and more wads) of cash in his hotel room.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time 50 Cent has tastelessly flaunted his wealth on Twitter. Back in November 2010, the rapper posted pictures of himself playing around with $500,000 worth of cash money.

A 21-year-old Iranian man who recently got a tattoo on his penis has now been left with a “permanent semi-erection,” according to MSNBC News.

The man apparently thought it would be a pretty good idea to get a penis tattoo in Perisian script reading “borrow be salaamat,” which means “good luck on your journeys,” as well as the first initial of his girlfriend’s last name (“M”).

So what exactly happened during (or after) the procedure that made the guy have a permanent semi-erection?

According to the Iranian doctors, this is what happened to the young man.

The tattooist punctured too-deep holes that damaged vessels in the penis, resulting in fistulas, and then a pseudoaneurysm, a pooling of blood outside a vessel wall.

They recommended he see a specialist to have the blood removed, but he rejected that idea and saw another doctor to have a shunt procedure performed. It didn’t work.

Since the fellow is still able to have sex, and achieve a more-or-less normal erection, he’s rejected any more treatments, even the one his urologists recommended in the first place.

In one of those statements you’d think nobody would actually have to make, the Iranian doctors wrote “based on our unique case, we discourage penile tattooing.”

The troubled 15-year-old girl who was “accidentally” deported to Colombia last year is now safe at home in Texas with her mother and grandmother as of Friday night (Jan 6), the Associated Press reports.

Jakadrien Turner reportedly arrived in Dallas via the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport last night shortly before 10 pm and was escorted through the international gate by her grandmother Lorene Turner and her mother Johnisa Turner.

“She’s happy to be home,” the family’s attorney Ray Jackson said, adding that the family was “ecstatic” to have Jakadrien back in Texas so that they can “do what we can to make sure she gets back to a normal life.”

Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin said that contrary to numerous reports in the media, Jakadrien, who is 5 months pregnant, was living at a home for expectant mothers in Bogoto, Colombia, and not being held in a foreign prison.

Jakadrien was accidentally deported to Colombia in April 2011 when she was 14 years old after she gave Houston police a fake name following an arrest for shoplifting.

The name she gave to police, Tika Lanay Cortez, apparently belonged to a Colombian woman who was in the United States illegally, and had multiple warrants out for her arrest.

Immigration experts admit that while cases of mistaken identity are rare, people can slip through the cracks, especially if they don’t have legal help or family members working on their behalf, which is very similar to Jakadrien’s situation.

Still, the question remains as how to how immigration officials allowed a 14-year-old American girl to be briskly shipped off to a foreign country.

Houston police said in a statement that her name was run through a database to determine if she was wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement but the results were negative. She was then turned over to the Harris County jail and booked on the theft charge.

The county sheriff’s office said it ran her through the available databases and did the interviews necessary to establish her identity and immigration status in the country, with negative results. A sheriff’s office employee recommended that an immigration detainer be put on her, and upon her release from jail she was turned over to ICE.

U.S. immigration officials insist they followed procedure and found nothing to indicate that the girl wasn’t a Colombian woman living illegally in the country.

An ICE official said the teen claimed to be Cortez throughout the criminal proceedings in Houston and the ensuing deportation process, in which an immigration judge ultimately ordered her back to Colombia.

Standard procedure before any deportation is to coordinate with the other country in order to establish that person is from there, the ICE official said.

The ICE official, speaking on condition of anonymity due to not being authorized to discuss additional details of the case, said the teenager was interviewed by a representative from the Colombian consulate and that country’s government issued her a travel document to enter Colombia.

Jakadrien was issued travel documents at the request of U.S. officials using information they provided, the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Colombian officials are investigating what kind of verification was conducted by its Houston consulate to issue the temporary passport.

The girl was given Colombian citizenship upon arriving in that country, the ICE official said.

According to the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the girl was enrolled in the country’s “Welcome Home” program after she arrived there. She was given shelter, psychological assistance and a job at a call center, a statement from the agency said.

“If she looked like an adult, and she told them she was a 21-year-old Colombian citizen, and she didn’t show up in their databases, this was inevitable,” said Albert Armendariz, an immigration attorney from El Paso.

Jakadrien’s family says they have no idea why she ended up in Colombia. Johnisa Turner said the girl is a U.S. citizen who was born in Dallas and was not fluent in Spanish. She said neither she nor the teen’s father had ties to Colombia. Jakadrien’s grandmother, Lorene Turner, called the deportation a “big mistake somebody made.”

15-year-old Jakadrien Turner has been missing since 2010 when she ran away from home.

A teenage African American girl from Dallas who has been reportedly missing since 2010 was recently found pregnant and being held in a foreign prison.

According to various reports, Jakadrien Turner was 14 when she ran away from home after her grandfather died and her parents got a divorce.

Several months later, Jakadrien turned up in Houston and was arrested for theft. She had no identification, and gave police a fake name.

When police ran the name, they found out that it belonged to a 22-year-old illegal Colombian immigrant who had multiple arrest warrants.

That’s when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials stepped in, and took the girl’s fingerprints, but somehow deported her to Colombia without even trying to successfully verify her true identity.

WFAA in Houston reports that upon her arrival in Colombia, a Spanish-speaking country, Jakadrien received a work card and found work cleaning homes, though one would imagine things would be pretty hard for a 14-year-old girl working in a country where she doesn’t understand the language.

“It’s very frustrating,” Lorene Turner, the girl’s grandmother told WFAA.

Turner says she has spent countless hours searching for her missing granddaughter on Facebook.

“Once I get home I am up until 3 or 4 in the morning searching and looking,” Turner said. “It’s all I can think about. Finding my baby.”

Turner finally found Jakadrian after searching for her daily since the fall of 2010. “God just kept leading me,” she said. “I wake up in the middle of the night and do whatever God told me to do, and I found her.”

Turner said that with the help of Dallas Police, she unexpectedly found out that her now 15-year-old granddaughter had been deported to Colombia in April of 2011, and not only that, but she was in prison … and pregnant.

“They didn’t do their work,” Turner said. “How do you deport a teenager and send her to Colombia without a passport, without anything?”

Despite numerous pleas from the girl’s family through U.S. officials, who were in direct contact with officials at the U.S. embassy in Bogota, the Columbian government refused to release the child and allow her to be sent home.

Jakadrien Turner was found pregnant and in prison in Colombia after her grandmother searched for months on Facebook.

“She talked about how they had her working in this big house cleaning all day, and how tired she was,” the girl’s grandmother said regarding her work release.

Through her granddaughter’s Facebook messages, Turner says she tracked Jakadrian down. U.S. Federal authorities got an address. U.S. Embassy officials in Colombia asked police to pick her up.

But that was a month ago, and the Colombian government now has her in a detention facility and won’t release her, despite her family’s request. “I feel like she will come home,” the grandmother said with tears in her eyes. “I just need help and prayer.”

There are still many unanswered questions about how an African-American girl who speaks no Spanish is mistaken for a foreign national. Immigration officials are investigating and released a statement late Tuesday.

“ICE takes these allegations very seriously,” said ICE Director of Public Affairs Brian Hale. ” At the direction of [the Department of Homeland Security], ICE is fully and immediately investigating this matter in order to expeditiously determine the facts of this case.”

ICE officials also noted there have been instances where ICE has seen cases of individuals providing inaccurate information regarding who they are and their immigration status for ulterior motives.

Whatever the case may be … there should be some serious attention brought to the fact that an unidentified 14-year-old girl was just abruptly shipped off to foreign country where she got pregnant and was later sent to prison.

21-year-old Andre Curry from Chicago generated some serious controversy after he posted the photo of his daughter bound with tape back in July, and last week, the photo became viral after it was posted on several highly-visited websites.

In the disturbing image, the little girl’s hands and feet are tied together at the wrists and ankles with blue tape. Another piece of tape covers the child’s mouth, restricting her from making any noise and possibly constricting her airflow.

The troubling photo originally appeared alongside an equally troubling caption from the girl’s father that read, “This is wut happens wen my baby hits me back. ;)”

Je’Vanna Cobbins, a friend of Curry’s, told The Smoking Gun that he was just “playing around” and would “never do anything to harm anyone.”

“[He was] being playful with his child. People play with their child differently,” she said in defense of her friend’s immature actions.

Whether Mr. Curry was being playful or not, the Chicago Police Department is taking this very seriously after being tipped off about the photo, and their special investigations unit is reportedly “looking into it.”

“It’s an ongoing investigation,” a Chicago PD spokesman said.

The terribly upsetting photo has since been removed from Facebook, but not before it became a viral “hit” amongst Internet users, most of whom were clearly disturbed and upset about it, and even left angry comments on his page.

One person called Curry a “nasty child abuser,” while another said, “I hope you fall down the stairs and land on a bunch of bullets. Hate hate hate hate!”

So far, the 21-year-old father has not been arrested, but child protective services were called to the home, the New York Post reported.

It’s one thing to teach a person a lesson … but to send naked pics of them to all of their friends, probably won’t get the message across that well!

An Arizona man was recently arrested for texting a naked photo of his girlfriend’s daughter to nearly 40 contacts in her cellphone.

After finding an inappropriate photo in the phone of his girlfriend’s daughter … Eugene Foster thought it would be a good idea to embarrass the teenager and possibly prevent her from taking more nude photos by sending the pic out to several people.

Well little did he know … he would be learning a valuable lesson too. Sending naked pics out of an underage teenager of is sexual exploitation of a minor.

“They get into a fight and during that discussion he decides I’m going to teach you a lesson. I’m going to send this out to 30 plus contacts on her phone and that’s what he did,” said Elias Johnson, spokesperson for the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. “You can’t distribute images like that, no one can, its illegal… there was nudity, clear full frontal picture.”

While detectives are checking into all of the girl’s contacts to make sure they didn’t forward the image, the girl’s school has also sent out a letter making all parents and students aware of the racy text message.

“Texting images of minors is wrong no matter who you are, what your intentions are, you’re going to be arrested. Its going to be as embarrassing as it is for Mr. Foster,” Johnson said.

Hopefully Mr. Eugene Foster learned HIS lesson!
