LeBron James and his longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson are getting married!

With a number of his Miami Heat teammates and close friends and family members watching, the NBA baller reportedly popped the question to a surprised Brinson on New Year’s Eve (Sat. Dec 31 2011) at a private NYE dinner party in Miami hosted by Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union.

“It was beautiful,” LeBron’s Heat teammate Chris Bosh said. “It was nice. It was real nice.”

Reps for James confirmed the news early Sunday morning just hours after LeBron and Savannah’s friends like Chris Paul, Miami Heat owner Micky Arison, Chris Bosh’s wife Adrienne, and others were spotted sending out congratulatory tweets.

“Happy for my brother @KingJames and sis @SavannahRB on their engagement!!! Extremely happy for them and the good times to come #HappyNewYear” Chris Paul tweeted.

Miami Heat owner Micky Arison tweeted, “Congrats to LeBron. @KingJames and Savannah so happy 4 u guys.”

“Love Trumps All #2012 Congrats to @SavannahRB & @KingJames :),” Adrienne Bosh tweeted.

The engagement party, attended by Nas, Queen Latifah, Chris & Adrienne Bosh, LeBron’s mother Gloria James, supermodel Jessica White, and more, also doubled as a 27th birthday party for LeBron.

The L.A. Times reported that LeBron’s Heat teammate Dwyane Wade was in charge of holding the ring right up until the big moment, and a group of about 50 guests toasted to the happy couple.

“A special night,” Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra said.

LeBron James and Savannah Brinson are high school sweethearts, and have been together for over 8 years. They also have two young sons together: 7-year-old LeBron Jr. and 4-year-old Bryce.

We can all finally put the rumors of Marc Anthony having an affair with Jada Pinkett-Smith to rest, based on these phtoos of Marc Anthony and Will Smith hanging out together earlier this week at a football game.

According to TMZ, Marc invited Will out to help him celebrate his 43rd birthday and watch the Miami Dolphins game Monday night (Sep 12) in his luxury box at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami.

Although Will’s wife Jada wasn’t there, he and Marc pair were joined by Dwyane Wade, Fergie (and her husband Josh Duhamel), Pitbull, and Sean Kingston as they watched the Dolphins take on the New England Patriots.

Shaquille O’Neal has a thing for Rihanna! Or at least he used to.

In a set of newly leaked text messages and e-mails from 2008, the now retired NBA star can be seen trying to get Newsweek reporter Allison Samuels to set him up with either her … or Pop superstar Rihanna.

Shaq and Samuels met when she was covering a Lakers game, and they’ve been friends ever since. In fact, Samuels helped write Shaq’s mom’s autobiography.

It is believed that Shaq was still with his wife Shaunie at the time the messages were sent (they were reconciling following their divorce in 2007).

During their conversation, Samuels tries to set the then basketball star up with several models and actresses, including Sessilee Lopez, Lauren London and Robinne Lee. Shaq also drops a bomb in the text exchanges when he reveals that Lauren London is “d wade’s girl” (referring to his former Miami Heat teammate Dwayne Wade, who is dating Gabrielle Union, and has been for a while now.)

Miami Heat suprestar Dwayne Wade, can finally breath a sigh of relief now that he has both his sons, Zaire (8 years old) and Zion (3 years old) home with him in Miami for good.

This past Friday (Mar 11), Judge Renee Goldfarb of Cook County Circuit (Illinois), awarded Dwayne sole custody of his boys with ex-wife Siohvaughn Wade after enduring a very long (and very public) custody battle with Siohvaughn, who Dwayne claims has been “trying to turn his sons against him.” Wade’s divorce from Siohvaughn was granted last June, after a lengthy separation.

Siohvaughn will have what the court described as “regular parenting time” on alternating weekends in Miami, as well as several other times during the year, including Mother’s Day. Dwyane Wade has also repeatedly stated that he wants his sons to have healthy relationships with their mother.

Still, the 102-page ruling had some sharp words for Wade’s ex-wife.

“This court finds that (Siohvaughn Wade) has embarked on an unstoppable and relentless pattern of conduct for over two years to alienate the children from their father, and lacks either the ability or the willingness to facilitate, let alone encourage, a close and continuing relationship between them,” read a portion of the ruling entered by Judge Renee G. Goldfarb.

Wade’s attorney, James Pritikin, said the custody trial “was one of the longest ever in Cook County history.” Wade filed the motion asking for sole custody nearly a year ago, though the legal tussle has gone on considerably longer.

Speaking on the recent court victory, The Miami player commented:

“I am very thankful that the court has given me custody of my boys and they are already at home with me in Miami and settling in. Going through a custody trial was difficult and I wish it hadn’t been necessary, but, I felt it was the only way that I could continue to play an active part of my kids’ lives and provide them with a happy and stable home. My hope is that their mother will also choose to play a healthy role in their lives and we can all move on from this in a positive way.”

Now that the boys are finally back home with their father, he can now turn his entire focus to helping his beaten and battered Miami Heat as they try to close out their NBA season.

Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade announced via Twitter and YouTube yesterday (Wed. Jul 7) that he has made up his mind about his contract for the upcoming NBA basketball season. Wade directed his Twitter followers to a YouTube video confirming news that he has re-signed with the Heat and explaining his decision to his fans. In the video, he also also confirmed news that NBA free agent Chris Bosh (formerly of the Toronto Raptors) would join him in the MIA.

What do you think about Dwyane Wade re-signing with the Miami Heat?

Earlier this morning (Tues. Jul 6), NBA superstar Dwyane Wade canceled a scheduled news conference for the annual “Summer Groove” charity weekend he will be hosting with Alonzo Mourning next week. However, Wade didn’t call the conference off due to a bad cold or the stomach flu, but to avoid all of the questioning and hassle from the media over his free-agency.

So instead, Wade received a surprising visit from four bus loads of 150 Miami Heat employees at Nova Southeastern University, where Wade’s youth basketball camp for children (originally scheduled to kick off today) was to be held. The group made an all out effort to change their hometown superstar’s mind and chanted aloud together:

“We want Wade!”

“We want Wade!”

“We want Wade!”

Wade found the chanting quite heart-warming and responded jokingly:

“I see I can’t get rid of you all.”

But, that by far means Wade will be continuing his stay in Miami… and let’s just say Miami Heat’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Michael McCullough is well aware of this!

“You guys better say it like you mean it. This is no joke, right here.” McCullough told Miami Heat employees before they met with Wade.

Amidst his on-going divorce battle against his soon-to-be ex wife, NBA player Dwyane Wade has been granted temporary custody of his two sons Zaire and Zion, who are 8 and 3 years old respectively (the youngest just celebrated a birthday last week).

A judge in Chicago awarded the Miami Heat star with “physical possession” of his sons Wednesday (Jun 2) after courts found that his time for visitation with the children had been disrupted by their mother (and his estranged wife) Siohvaughn Wade on several different occasions.

The court cited three instances (1 in March, 2 in May) where Siohvaughn made it extremely difficult for Dwyane to pick up the boys, the last happening when she allegedly wouldn’t open the game to her home to let him in.

“The Court is troubled by the continuing pattern of (Siohvaughn Wade) to obey court orders when they go her way and disobey court orders when they do not,” wrote Associate Judge Fe Fernandez in the order. Dwyane Wade is not only seeking a divorce, but full custody of the boys.

Before leaving Miami on Tuesday, the NBA star said he was looking forward to spending as much time as possible with the boys, saying settling four civil cases at once in South Florida allowed his sons “to get their daddy back” for the summer. Siohvaughn Wade’s last listed attorney did not immediately return a call seeking comment. (GOT Note: Probably because she quit!)

Another hearing is scheduled for later this month on both the divorce and custody cases. Wade is hopeful the divorce can be granted perhaps as early as late June, and the custody trial has been scheduled to begin July 19 in Chicago. Wade is expected to exercise his right to become a free agent on July 1, and has said he wants to remain with the Heat.

Dwyane Wade‘s estranged wife needs some serious help. Word on the sidewalk is that Siohvaughn Wade‘s lawyer has quit on her and ironically cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason she left. According to TMZ, Siohvaughn’s attorney Marsha Fisher filed an emergency yesterday (Mon. May 24) in Cook County, IL requesting that she be relieved of her duties of representing the nut-case in her and Dwyane’s ongoing divorce battle.

But apparently this isn’t the first (or the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh OR eighth) time this has happened! Could you believe that this is the NINTH lawyer Siohvaughn has pissed off so bad that they wanted to quit? Well believe it! TMZ lists all of the lawyers (so far) that have been involved with the messy divorce case:

And just for fun, here’s the list of her former attorneys in chronological order (you’re welcome):  Dorene Marcus, Burton Hochberg, Michael Berger, David Stein, John Rokacz, Rosaire Nottage, Andrew Leinoff, and Michael Bruck. All except one withdrew from representing her, one was only used for an appeal which was subsequently denied.

Soon to be ex-wife of NBA star Dwyane Wade,  Siohvaughn Wade, finally turned herself in to police today and was later released after posting $10,000 bond. A warrant for her arrest was issued yesterday for failure to appear in court. And at this point, things have gotten so bad that Cook County Circuit Judge Marya Nega even said herself that she was tired of Siohvaughn’s bullsh*t throughout the case:

“When things don’t go according to Mrs. Wade’s way all of a sudden the phone’s turned off,” said Nega, clearly exasperated when Siohvaughn Wade’s attorney explained she had not been able to reach her client. Dwyane Wade’s attorney had planned to ask Monday that his client be given physical custody of the couple’s two boys, ages 8 and 2.

The judge said Siohvaughn Wade had refused to comply with other orders. For example, Nega said, Siohvaughn Wade has not followed an order to make sure the couple’s two children talk to their father every day. Nega also noted the children were not at their Chicago school last week to be picked up by Dwyane Wade’s sister as the judge had ordered. The judge said her main concern was what the couple’s ongoing divorce was doing to the children and suggested she may order custody be given to Dwyane Wade. “Maybe it’s time for the kids to go live with Dad for a month or two,” the judge said.

It’s funny how this occurs a week after Siohvaughn filed a lawsuit against actress Gabrielle Union for causing her children “emotional and mental distress”. Is it just us or does this lady need some psychiatric help?  Please send her off somewhere!!!!

Miami heat basketball player Dwyane Wade‘s estranged wife Siohvaughn Wade wants actress Gabrielle Union to pay (literally) for allegedly breaking up her marriage. In a lawsuit filed on behalf of her two sons (8 and 2 years old) Mrs. Wade is seeking $50,000 in damages and claims that Gabby and D Wade, who are currently dating, engaged in “sexual foreplay” and “extreme and outrageous conduct” in front of their young children.

In another lawsuit, Siohvaughn says a Chicago Attorney named Lester Barclay of the Dixon & Smith firm failed to act in the best interest of her children during she and Dwyane’s divorce. She claims that he ignored reports of abuse or neglect from Dwyane.

But Wade tells TMZ: “I am shocked that Siohvaughn Wade has brought this baseless and meritless lawsuit in the name of our children against Gabrielle Union. I am deeply saddened and disappointed that Siohvaughn has used our sons once again as pawns and is now lashing out at Gabrielle, who is an innocent party. It is clear that this is a desperate attempt to retaliate against me for seeking sole custody of our children and requesting that the court have her undergo a psychiatric examination. My primary concern is my children and actions such as this only inflame the situation and are harmful to their well being.”

TMZ also spoke with a rep for Gabrielle Union who also rejects Siohvaughn’s claims — and apologizes to the court system for having to deal “with erroneous claims when there are real victims who should be receiving the legal attention they need.”

Well damn… Either Siohvaughn is crazy as hell or Gabby and Dwyane are some freaky mofos! Foreplay in front of the kids? C’mon son!

Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade‘s estranged wife Siohvaughn has responded to his petition requesting sole custody of their two children. She believes that the filings are retaliation for her asking for an order of protection last month. Early last week, Dwyane filed for custody of he and Siohvaughn’s two sons, ages 8 and 12, and he also asked that his wife be psychologically evaluated.

“Our client believes that these various papers were filed as retaliation for her legitimate claims filed March 19, 2010 in the Domestic Relations Court in a Petition for Order of Protection regarding the abuse by Mr. Wade dating back to 2006,” Eunice Ward, an attorney in the Chicago firm representing Siohvaughn Wade, said Thursday in an e-mail response to The Associated Press.

Siohvaughn Wade has previously alleged that her husband abandoned his children, that they were frightened to be around him, and that he was “guilty of extreme and repeated mental cruelty” toward her.

Part of Dwyane Wade’s filings earlier this week include that his wife is participating in “alternative avenues of worship that are completely outside of the status quo” when it comes to how the children were to be raised. The filings also allege that when Dwyane Wade’s sister Tragil went to Siohvaughn Wade’s Illinois home to pick up the boys for a visit, Siohvaughn Wade and some of her friends circled her and prayed for her salvation.

“It is regrettable that this father now chooses to use mental health and religion as another means to battle and abuse the mother,” Ward said in the e-mail statement.

Other documents show Wade alleges his wife Siohvaughn cannot “be considered a fit and proper person” to raise their children. The MVP of this year’s All-Star game says his wife exhibited threatening behavior, had extramarital affairs, uses abusive parenting methods and is unwilling to let the 2006 NBA finals MVP see his children — plus blocked the older of their sons from attending this year’s All-Star festivities.

Dwyane Wade wants full custody of his two sons Zaire 8, and Zion 2 and take them out of their unstable mother Siohvaughn‘s hands. Dwyane says that his soon-to-be ex-wife “has made it evident that she is unstable, dishonest, unbalanced, unwilling to accept responsibility for her actions, not of good character, and therefore, unfit to be a custodial parent.”

“For more than two years, I have tried to make peace with Siohvaughn concerning our divorce and custody of our kids,” Wade said in a statement released to The AP. “I no longer believe that’s possible. Siohvaughn has consistently attempted to interrupt or prevent me from having visitation time with our boys.”

“I’m sorry to say that many of the things she has done during our marriage and throughout this divorce have convinced me that it is not in our children’s best interest that she have custody,” Wade added in his statement to The AP. “As a result, I have decided to fight for custody of our children. I feel our children’s health and safety are at stake,” Dwyane Wade said. “Our two children are my top priority.”

Wade, who is currently in a relationship with actress Gabrielle Union, will not be participating in this summer’s world basketball championship due to his pending divorce trial. Dwyane and his estranged wife Siohvaughn Wade have been legally separated since 2007 and the trial to settle their divorce will be held this June.

The NBA’s 2010 All-Star Game went down Sunday night (Feb 14) in Arlingtion, Texas at the Cowboys Stadium. This is the largest venue ever recorded to hold the All-Star game, and the biggest live crowd ever (over 100,000) to watch a basketball game.

Representing for the West were Kobe Bryant (Dirk Nowitzki), Amare Stoudemire, Steve Nash, Carmelo Anthony and Tim Duncan. For the East, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, and Allen Iverson (David Lee).

The game was pretty intense. In the 1st quarter, the West’s momentum was very heavy but the East built up some intensity of their own in the 2nd quarter. The 3rd and 4th quarters were both equally competitive, but the East came out on top due to Deron Williams‘ unnecessary fouling. The ending score was 141-139. Dwyane Wade, who went home with the All-Star MVP award, finished the night with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Wade spoke at the end of the game:

“To be able to perform in front of a crowd like that, I know that. I know I can do it, I’ve done it before,” Wade continued. “So just to be able to put on a show like that and to get the win, and to make key plays down the stretch was what I like.”

Although, Kobe Bryant didn’t play he was there to comment on how he’s doing:

“I’ll do therapy nonstop, around the clock, until it’s ready to go, ” Bryant said. “Hopefully, I’ll be healthier than I was the last month, so that’s a plus.”

Dwyane Wade sued his estranged wife and two of her lawyers Wednesday over accusations the Miami Heat star contracted a sexually transmitted disease through an extramarital affair. In the lawsuit, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press, Wade is seeking at least $50,000 in damages from each defendant. Siohvaughn Wade said last month the player infected her with an unspecified disease in 2007. Weeks later, she withdrew the claim from the court hearing the divorce case for unknown reasons. That wasn’t enough to satisfy the 2006 NBA finals MVP, who said her allegations not only defamed him, but caused “embarrassment” and “humiliation” along with damaging future earning potential.

“It has been difficult to see false allegations, rumors and gossip repeatedly discussed in public about my personal life,” Dwyane Wade said in a statement released to the AP. “I had no other choice but to file this action in order to clear my name.” Wade declined further comment.

The All-Star guard also lists attorneys Michael Berger and Dorene Marcus as defendants, along with their firms, contending they wronged him in the same manner as his estranged wife. The suit was filed in Chicago, where the divorce proceedings have gone on for nearly a year. “Mr. Wade has been the victim of a reckless campaign by Siohvaughn Wade and her lawyers to publicly humiliate him and damage his reputation,” Joe Power, an attorney representing the Heat player, said in a statement to the AP. “To clear the public record from these false and malicious allegations, we have filed a defamation suit in court … and will seek appropriate compensation for damages.”

Siohvaughn Wade’s claim made “by and through her attorneys, and disseminated by various print and online media throughout the world placed plaintiff Dwyane Wade in a false light,” according to the lawsuit. “We believe there’s absolutely no merit to it,” Berger said. “I believe that the lawsuit will get dismissed. It seems interesting to me Wade would file a lawsuit like this when he supposedly wants to keep a low profile. This lawsuit will put his entire private and social life in full view of the public.”

Berger added that even though the original claim by Siohvaughn Wade was withdrawn, “Mrs. Wade has stood behind her allegations.”

How about Dwyane Wade‘s wife Siohvaughn dropped those nasty STD claims she made against him in their divorce settlement in court last week.

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is jumping – for joy. In a Chicago divorce court Thursday, Wade’s estranged wife, Siohvaughn, dropped her accusation that he gave her a sexually transmitted disease.
Her lawyer, Dorene Marcus, wouldn’t comment on whether Siohvaughn had been misdiagnosed in 2007 when she first made her claim or on whether it was true that she smashed his trophies and other treasures when she found out, as a source tells us.

Wade’s lawyer, James Pritikin, said: “We are pleased that these false claims have been dropped. In the interest of Mr. Wade’s children, we hope these matters can be resolved in a timely matter.”

Siohvaughn wants her share of the 27-year-old’s $14 million salary and his multimillion-dollar endorsement deals with Gatorade, Converse and T-Mobile. She says Wade, who’s bought houses for folks in New Orleans and Florida, “dissipated substantial sums of marital property [including] buying his mother a $2 million church.”

According to posts published by The Miami Herald, Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade gave his wife of nearly 7 years a little more than what she asked for. Dwyane Wade and his high school sweetheart, Siohvaughn Wade, are in the process of getting a divorce, and according to legal papers, she claims that Dwyane gave her an unspecified STD, in addition to abandoning his children and comitting adultery, amongst other things.

Dwyane petitioned for the divorce last May in Cook County, Ill. They wed in Chicago on May 18, 2002. Dwyane’s Windy City attorney, James Pritikin, issued a statement: “These malicious allegations are absolutely false and we look forward to the opportunity to dispute them in court.” He and Siohvaughn, 27, have two boys, Zaire, a first-grader who will be 7 next month, and Zion, 1. Siohvaughn moved back to Chicago with the kids last year. Dwyane’s Heat salary is $14,410,581, according to published reports. He hauls in millions more from major endorsements such as Gatorade and Converse. He has a dozen vehicles, including four Cadillacs, four Mercedes-Benzes and a Maybach, court papers say.

The All-Star has been romantically linked to actress Gabrielle Union, 36, once married to former Jacksonville Jaguar Chris Howard. From Siohvaughn’s pleading: “Dwyane has dissipated substantial sums of marital property including . . . buying his mother a $2 million church; placing substantial sums of money in an account with another woman; providing numerous friends and family members with unfettered access to accounts with hundreds of thousands of dollars of marital funds from which they made substantial withdrawals . . .” Meanwhile, she says, he cut her off financially. Dwyane, named a ”Father of the Year” in 2007 by the National Father’s Day Committee, has gone ”months” without seeing his boys, Siohvaughn says. His ”failure to spend time with them . . . has resulted in the children at times being afraid of him; in fact, Zion . . . does not recognize or know Dwyane.” She wants sole custody, and support.

She also says she has suffered ”grievous physical, emotional and mental injury” from the STD, diagnosed in the fall of ’07. (The infection is not HIV or a ”killer thing,” sources say.) Dwyane and his ”paramour or paramours” are liable, she alleges. “Dwyane must disclose the identity of all of his sexual partners during the parties’ marriage,” says her counter-petition, prepared by attorney Michael J. Berger of Chicago. Siohvaughn has another Chicago lawyer, Dorene Marcus. Says Pritikin: “It is sad that an obviously angry and bitter woman will go to any lengths to publicly damage Mr. Wade.”

Siohvaughn speaks the truth, Marcus insists. ”A person’s public persona does not necessarily reflect his behavior in private,” Marcus adds. “Mrs. Wade is prepared to prove everything she alleges. And, medical records don’t lie.”

Dwyane Wade brought real Christmas joy and hope to a local Miami family whose house had been accidentally torched by a South Florida woman’s nephew.  Most, if not all, of their possessions were destroyed in the fire. Ironically, Wade, the Miami’s Heat Guard, decided he had to help this family out with not only shelter but a huge Christmas wish … a home. Along with the home, Wade furnished the house, replaced clothing and even a few gifts under the tree. Wade spoke about the teachings that can be greater than just materialism.

“That’s what I try to teach my kids,” Wade continued. “It’s not about what you’re going to receive – It’s what you can give others from what you’ve recieved.”

It’s always good to see that successful celebrities have huge bank accounts and even bigger hearts.

The red, white and blue is the last standing colors once again! The Senior Men’s Basketball Team of USA has been progressing more and more every game and making their statement on where they stand in this competition. Two years ago, this accomplish of Team USA seems unreachable but the tables have definitely turned. USA overthrew Greece by 23 points (92-69) and is digging closer to the gold! Dwyane Wade finished with 17 points and felt their teamwork is the major difference between the past few olympic games:

“We played like we wanted to win. We played together,” Dwyane Wade said. “We were very aware of their offensive sets, we were very aware of their personnel and we played like that. So we were kind of a step in front of what they wanted to do because we kind of knew everything already.”

Kobe Bryant has significantly improved since the past few games despite the wins who was only shooting 37% to a 50%. K.B. added 18 points to the scoreboard. Team USA is still remains undefeated with (3-0). LeBron James put 13 points while Chris Bosh shot 18 points. Bosh has been pushing defensively and offensively as a well-rounded player in the lineup. He’s also very determined not to lose:

“Any time you get beat it’s embarrassing and that’s enough,” Bosh said. “And we can really use that as a tool to help us with our defense now, and that’s the name of the game. Because if you play good defense, no matter how you’re shooting the ball you’re going to be in the game.”

Team USA is in a very good position and it looks like one of the easiest Olympics for us in awhile. It’s looking swell for Team USA! The next game will be against Spain on Aug. 16th @ 10:15AM/ET on ESPN. Check your local listing for times. Check out the video recap below!

The Senior’s Men USA Team managed to take the win against Angola but it hardest is yet to come. Team USA has been steady with their wins during the Summer Olympics seeing that they haven’t lost against one opponent they’ve played. USA won by 21 points (97-76) last night against Angola. Team USA is buckling down for their tougher opponents coming up Thursday against Greece.

Dwayne Wade has been dominating during the Olympics! Wade scored a total of 19 points. LeBron James finished with 12 points. James shots were going up rocky behind the 3-point line but no one could stop him inside the paint. My boy, Kobe Bryant also didn’t have the most spectacular night either. He shot poor behind the 3-point line as well but still manage to put up 8 points in the 3rd quarter. Kobe talked about his rough night in Beijing:

“It’s been a struggle,” Bryant said. “I think we have to adjust to being spot-up shooters, all of us. We’re not acclimated to being spot-up shooters, so that’s something we have to tweak a little bit and get used to.”

Greece will be a tough competitor in the Olympics and Team USA definitely has the skills and mental power to come through as champs. The next airing game will be 8AM/ET (our time) on ESPN against Greece. Check your local listings. Check out the rest of the pics from the game.

The USA Senior Men’s Team wins another consecutive game, this time against China. The game took place in Beijing. Although China was at home, USA still came out on top. This game will definitely go down in history. China’s secret weapon, Yao Ming, didn’t affect USA’s performance. Team USA took the victory by 31 points (101-70). Kobe Bryant even compare the night to one he’s never experienced before in his life:

“I’ve never felt an environment quite like this,” Kobe continued “I’ve played in many big games, but the energy tonight was different. I think they knew that history was being made tonight, obviously, it was a proud moment for their country as it is for ours. You could feel the electricity.”

Team USA still remains undefeated but Dwayne Wade, who had 19 points, ran a good game and was relieved it was over:

“The excitement of it, the anxiousness of it, the anticipation was just crazy,” said Wade, “I’m kind of glad it’s out of the way now. This game was just over the top.”

LeBron James finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Team USA is moving steady towards the gold! I can’t wait to see the best players in the NBA get what they deserve. Look forward for more Olympics recaps here on T2W. Check out more pics for the game below.

The Senior USA Men’s Team took another leading game in the Olympics against Australia by 11 (87-76) but they still felt that this game could’ve been played a lot better. USA is still the undefeated team with 5 wins 0 losses. Dwayne Wade, who had 22 points, agreed that they didn’t perform as well:

“We’re still growing. We’re still going to get better as each game goes on, but I think tonight we learned something.” Wade added. “We’re still growing. We’re still going to get better as each game goes on, but I think tonight we learned something.”

Kobe Bryant scored 13 points and Carmelo Anthony put up 12 points and 10 rebounds. K.B. knows now that they have to work ten times as hard now than ever:

“In the third quarter they knocked down some big shots and I think that got them back in the ballgame,” Kobe said. “And for us, we have to understand that that’s going to happen from time to time and it’s important to keep our poise, keep our composure and buckle down.”

The USA Senior Men’s Team took yet another win against Lithuania by 36 points (120-84). These countries are making it too easy! Dwyane Wade was undeniably on his game last night in China against Lithuania. Wade put up 19 points leading the team to 3 straight wins (3-0). D-Wade feels better as well as he’s playing too:

“I’m healthy again, as healthy as I’ve been in two years, and I’m excited not only about this opportunity, but I’m excited about the rest of my career,” said Wade, “I know what it takes and the weight room has become my best friend. Hard work has got me here.”

LeBron James totaled 19 points and 5 rebounds while Kobe Bryant scored 13 points to the scoreboard. Dwight Howard scored 17 points on the scoreboard as well. The USA Team has been working extremely hard but the games have just begun. The first few team were a breeze but the farther we get the harder. The USA Team will be going up for the International Basketball Challenge in Shanghai, China today. Not sure if this will be broadcasted but check for local ESPN listings.
