I’m not that deep into politics, so before now, I’ve never heard of this Rob Ford guy, who is the mayor of Toronto, but all of that is beside the point. There’s a video out there of a mayor — a CONSERVATIVE mayor — smoking crack from a pipe!

And if Gawker has its way, the world might see this video very soon so that we can all watch it and point and laugh … because who doesn’t want to see a major political figure smoking crack on camera? I most certainly do, and you know you do.

But before I get into this hell of a story — and boy is this a big one — let me put it like this. Toronto is basically the Canadian version of New York City, with a metro population of about 6 million people. That’s about 2 million less than NYC, and about 2 million more than Los Angeles.

So the fact that the mayor of a city with a population density akin to New York City — the biggest and most famous city in the entire world — has been captured … on video … smoking CRACK COCAINE (not a cigarette, not weed, not even cocaine, but CRACK cocaine) is a pretty big deal.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s get into the meat of this here mountain of a story.

Gawker editor John Cook was recently tipped off about the existence of video footage taken within the past six months showing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine (and it’s the real deal). To make an extremely long story short … Gawker wants to buy it.

But there’s only one problem. The guy who owns the video wants at least 6 figures for it. And the owner is so serious about their hefty price tag that he turned down a $40,000 offering from a Canadian media outlet that he refused to name.

Cook actually traveled to Toronto so that he could verify the authenticity of the clip in person, and he is 1,0000% certain that the man in the video is Rob Ford. He was even given a nice photo (at the top of this post) showing Ford hanging out with a bunch of college-aged twenty-somethings in an area that looks to be prime for crack smoking. (FYI: The gentlemen on the left, Ford’s right, flipping the bird was shot and killed two months ago outside a Toronto nightclub)

After going back and forth for days with the “tipster,” Cook eventually got a chance to personally meet up with the holder of the video camera that contained the 100% legit footage of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine:

We sit idling in his car, making small talk. The tipster calls the owner and talks in language other than English. “He’ll be right down,” he says. Fifteen minutes pass. “Waiting for the elevator,” he says. Ten minutes pass. A young gentleman opens the rear door of the car and gets in. The two men speak in a language other than English. The young gentleman immediately exits the vehicle. No video.

The tipster looks at me: “The battery is dead.” The young gentleman—the owner of the video—needed to go back upstairs to charge the battery on the device that contained the video. We wait. More small talk.

The owner of the video returns. He thrusts a device, a phone with a touchscreen, in my face. “Can I hold it?” I ask. “No.” I crane my neck. It plays.

Here is what the video shows: Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto, is the only person visible in the frame. Prior to the trip, I spent a lot of time looking at photographs of Rob Ford. The man in the video is Rob Ford. It is well-lit, clear.

Ford is seated, in a room in a house. In one hand is a a clear, glass pipe. The kind with a big globe and two glass cylinders sticking out of it. In the other hand is a lighter. A slurred voice off-camera is ranting about Canadian politics in what sounds like an attempt to goad Ford. “Pierre Trudeau was a faggot!” is the one phrase the lodges in my mind.

Ford, pipe in one hand and lighter in the other, is laughing, and mildly protesting at the sacrilege. He seems to keep trying to light the pipe, but keeps stopping to laugh. He is red-faced and sweaty, heaving with each breath. Finally, he finds his moment and lights up. He inhales.

In one move, the owner stops the video and draws the device back into his pocket.

“You took this?” I ask. “Yes.”

“When?” … “Within the last six months.”

“You’re sure it’s crack?” … “Yes.”

“You’ve seen him smoke crack before?” … “Yes. Gotta jet.”

And he is gone.

Well damn. It looks like Toronto has the Canadian version of Marion Berry running wild up there.

Gawker is looking for a partner to help offset the cost of the video, so if anyone out there wants to help out with this great this cause, feel free to reach out to them! The world needs to see this. Seriously.

Who knew a simple kids toy could incite life-threatening violence?

Huff Post Crime is reporting that 35-year-old Efrain Burgos-Delgado pulled a gun on a 16-year-old boy in order to steal his remote control car. The puzzling incident took place in Kissimmee, Florida on Saturday evening (Apr 13).

If that’s not enough, after the perp stole the car, he came back and robbed the boy of his cell phone.

So why on earth did this man go to such great lengths to steal something that he could have bought for $19.99 – $39.99 ($59.49 if you want to be fancy) on Amazon? Authorities say Delgado quickly sold the toy in order to buy drugs.

So if you thought you couldn’t buy cocaine with a used kids toy, you were mistaken.

Of course he probably sold the car and used the money to score a fix, but it’s funny to think of a man paying for illegal substances with a toy.

Unfortunately for Mr. Delgado, there’s nothing funny about the charges he’s facing, which includes armed robbery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, grand theft, dealing in stolen property, petty theft and resisting without violence.

“Glee” star Cory Monteith has checked into rehab. The 30-year-old actor “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction,” his rep told PEOPLE in a statement. “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”

“I burned a lot of bridges,” he said in a 2011 interview with Parade, where he also confessed that when it came to drugs, he was doing “anything and everything, as much as possible . . . I had a serious problem.”

Shockingly, the star did not even earn his high school diploma until about two years ago.

Lea Michele, Monteith’s girlfriend and fellow “Glee” star has issued words of support for her man.

“I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” she said in a statement released to PEOPLE. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

The pair first met on the set of “Glee” in 2008 and went public with their relationship last April.

It’s refreshing to see an actor chose to confront their own drug dependency rather than being forced to (see: Lindsay Lohan).

Of course, Monteith is one of many high profile actors who have battled addiction despite seemingly having it all.

Last February Gerard Butler checked into the Betty Ford Clinic while “Grey’s Anatomy” hunk Eric Dane entered a treatment program in 2011.

The sword cutting and unveiling of the ‘Hope City Project’ took place yesterday with the President in attendance and Chris Brown missing. In fact even a day after the above event, Chris Brown is still not yet in Ghana (at the time of this publication 11:00am, 5th March).

From our source in the organizers camp, Chris Brown was contracted to make appearance at the all important unveiling ceremony alongside the President as well as stage a mega concert tonight.

He also was apparently supposed to make several appearances at radio stations for interviews ahead of his concert. But yeah, Chris blew them off too. If he refuses to do press in America what the hell made them think he’d do it in Ghana?

While many Ghanaians might feel like $1 million rLG put up was misspent and wasted on bringing Chris to Ghana, he did at least put on a good show.

With great success comes great media monitoring and no one knows that better than Jennifer Lawrence. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star was snapped smoking weed during a trip to Hawaii.

The newly brunette star, was photographed (no doubt by a long lens camera that was held by a paparazzo who was probably hiding in the bushes) unwinding with a glass of wine, and what appears to be a joint.

Lawrence, who is makeup free and sporting sweats in the photos, probably had no idea she was being photoed. And of course, because everyone loves her, these photos likely won’t make a difference in how fans of the star or the media view the actress.

For instance, Hollywood Life is shrugging off the “suspicious cigarette” because the star “deserves a break,” and Jezebel asks, “Is there a better way to celebrate an Oscar win? Love you girl, wish we were there.”

Vulture went a step further, claiming that the star is entitled to a weed break because of her busy schedule and highly publicized fall at the Oscars.

The woman’s been doing nonstop interviews for months now, she’s been to every awards show under the sun, and she just fell in front of “billions” (probably just tens of millions — don’t lie to us, Academy) of people while accepting an Oscar. Justin Bieber had a pretty rough week. He and Selena Gomez broke up again, and a paparazzo was killed trying to take pictures of him. So to ease his mind, instead of turning to a pack of cigarettes or a bottle of liquor … the 18-year-old singer fired up a blunt and smoked some pot.

According to TMZ, the smoking session went down at a “big party” inside a Newport Beach hotel room. Also at the party was 19-year-old Young Money rapper (and Bieber’s BFF) Lil Twist, the same guy who was driving Justin’s Ferrari when the paparazzo was run over.

TMZ reported that Twist and his brother rolled up all the blunts and smoked everyone up. “And there was a LOT of pot smoke,” the website noted, providing a few pics to back their story up.

As for talking points — sources tell us Bieber was chatting it up about how tired he was because he’d been staying up late recently. Shockingly, we’re told the conversation eventually turned to late night fast food … and where they could get it.

But the reason everyone is making such a big fuss over the Biebs smokin pot is because Justin’s team said that the photographer who was killed lied about seeing Justin smoking weed earlier that day.

The sources say multiple witnesses will say the only time Justin left the Four Seasons on New Year’s Day was to go to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in Hollywood for lunch, and there was never a pipe in sight.

Also:

Sources connected to Justin and Selena say the photog was lying when he told the friend he saw a car belonging to Selena Gomez on the Four Seasons property.

Because Selena wasn’t even in Los Angeles. Apparently, on December 30th while they were in Mexico for New Year’s Eve, Selena and Justin had a huge “blow-out argument” and broke up.

Selena left Mexico that very same day, and Justin flew to L.A. on the 31st. The two of them hadn’t even seen each other at the time, and she was never at the Four Seasons, like the paparazzo reportedly told his friend.

Today is Tuesday, November 13th 2012, which means that it’s a great day for Jenny McCarthy to promote that book of hers that she’s been peddling around for months now. Because there’s not one day on the Gregorian calendar that doesn’t constitute a good day for book promo. At least that’s how Jenny looks at it.

According to The Daily Mail, the 40-year-old former Playboy Playmate — who celebrated her milestone birthday earlier this year with a Playboy cover — admits in the book, entitled “Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic,” that she once tried to make love to a tree while she was high on ecstasy.

In one chapter of the book, McCarthy writes:

“I found myself holding a tree to brace myself. The texture felt so good that I decided to rub my head and boobs all over it. It was a tree I was humping!”

Oh, don’t sit there looking all high and mighty like you’ve never had a drug-induced urge to have sex with a tree at least once. If not, what exactly are you doing with your life?

Jenny also reveals in another related excerpt that God spoke to her, and she was not pleased with what the man upstairs had to say.

“I heard a chanting voice breathing down my neck. It kept saying, ‘Bimbos in limbo.’ … This must have been an act of God to punish me.”

No, Jenny. That was probably the ecstasy. No, wait. That was definitely the ecstasy.

“Stoner Dogs” sounds pretty funny right? Well it is, in theory. But in reality, it isn’t.

According to reports out of Denver, the popularity of medical marijuana in the state of Colorado has unintended side effects, including dogs getting high off their owner’s supply — sometimes with deadly results.

You see, dogs are different than humans. When we ingest large amounts of weed, we get really high. When dogs ingest large amounts of weed, they get really high … and then they (sometimes) die.

Dr. Stacy Meola, a veterinarian, says the number of dogs that have gotten really sick because of marijuana has quadrupled in Colorado since medical marijuana became legalized in the state.

Some people believe that if weed can help people, then it can also help their pets. It’s also funny to watch your dog stumble around and go HAM on his kibbles and bits because he’s stoned as a mutha.

But Dr. Meola and other vets are warning that marijuana can be very harmful, and sometimes toxic, for dogs.

“They basically have lost a lot of their fine motor control, they have a wide-based stance and they are not sure on their feet,” veterinarian Dr. Debbie Van Pelt explained to CBS 4 Denver. “There are huge spikes in the frequency of marijuana ingestion in places where it’s become legal.”

The vets warn pet owners to be careful about smoking and even having weed around their canine friends.

Most of the time veterinarians say dogs get the medical marijuana by eating their owners food products that are laced with marijuana that were left out in the open. More and more dispensaries sell those kinds of products.

“I just want dogs, kids to be safe. It needs to be treated like any other drug. If you came home with a prescription of vicodin from your doctor you wouldn’t just leave it sitting there,” veterinarian Dr. Stacy Meola said.

Dr. Meola says at least two dogs who ate pot brownies cooked with medical grade weed butter in them died, but noted that that’s the exception. (Editor’s note: Chocolate is also lethal to dogs, so that could have also played a major role.)

Most of the time the dogs will show symptoms like staggering, lethargy, vomiting and being overly sensitive to sound and light. Sometimes they can fall into a coma.

It’s basically the equivalent of a “bad trip” for dogs. But fortunately, marijuana ingestion is rarely fatal to dogs, and after treatment, most are back to normal within 24 hours.

While the “dogs high on weed” videos on YouTube are wildly popular, and the “Stoner Dog” meme is growing, Colorado veterinarians are warning pet owners that, although most dogs survive, ingesting marijuana can be life-threatening to dogs.

“We need people to realize it is potentially toxic and potentially fatal to their pets,” said Dr. Van Pelt.

Veterinarians say when sick dogs come in, pet owners are usually reluctant to admit medical marijuana could have been the cause.

They say getting to the bottom of what’s wrong with your dog in a timely fashion is critical for them, so they are urging pet owners to fess up and admit that their dogs have ingested or inhaled marijuana so that they can be properly treated.

Massachusetts congressman Barney Frank was giving his thoughts on his support for the legalization of marijuana Wednesday night (Sep 26) on CNN when he was asked about his own pot usage.

You can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but it appears that the young pups aren’t picking up on the new regime either.

After staying out of trouble for the better part of his probation, the walls are starting to crumble in Chris Brown‘s fortress, TMZ reports. The judge in Chris’ probation case from his conviction for assaulting his ex(?) Rihanna chastised the rebellious R&B star for failing a recent drug test in Virginia.

Chris was just in court for a probation progress report hearing in his felony battery of Rihanna — and according to probation report docs … Brown failed a drug test on June 18 in Virginia, where he was fulfilling his court ordered community service.

According to probation report, Chris told his probation officer he had smoked weed in California — where he has a medical marijuana prescription — and then failed the test in Virginia, where weed is illegal … prescription or no prescription.

Judge Patricia Schnegg said she never ordered Brown to undergo mandatory drug testing as part of his probation, so she cut him a break … this time … letting him off with a stern reminder to obey all laws.

To be honest, Chris having weed in his system is pretty mild and expected. It’s a good thing nothing more … intense was found.

The photos, which were obtained by TMZ, show the former child star taking multiple hits out of what is known as a stealth marijuana pipe, which is basically a smoking pipe that is designed to look like something that is not a smoking pipe. Amanda’s was designed to look like a cigarette lighter.

In some of the pictures, you can clearly see weed residue all over the car, which is a complete mess (trash and dog hair are everywhere, stains are on the seats, etc).

TMZ offered this highly detailed description of Amanda’s hotbox joyride around Hollywood:

Amanda started her journey at Baja Fresh in the San Fernando Valley, where she smoked from the pipe in the restaurant parking lot and ate tacos. She then went to a spa, where she spent 3 hours.

We’re told Amanda then drove without purpose for several hours, sometimes cutting off other drivers and violating various traffic laws. Amanda ended up at Home Depot, where she again took a hit from the pipe in the parking lot.

While it’s not a crime for people to drive “without purpose for several hours,” it is for someone like Amanda Bynes, who recently had her license suspended, and is currently facing multiple charges for not just one, but two, hit-and-run accidents, as well as a DUI.

Additionally, other drivers have claimed that she’s either hit them, or subjected them to potential peril.

According to TMZ, the DMV suspended Amanda’s license last month because she refused a sobriety test when she was pulled over for DUI back in April. In the state of California, refusing sobriety/breathalyzer tests usually results in automatic license suspension.

At a court hearing Wednesday (Sep 13), which Bynes did not attend, L.A. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel — who, coincidentally, has presided over some of Lindsay Lohan‘s legal troubles — made it clear that the actress is to NOT get behind the wheel of anything that moves and requires a key to start-up.

Bynes’ next hearing is set for September 21st, and Judge Revel said that if she fails to appear, a warrant will be issued for her arrest.

A source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com, “Amanda has been ordered by the judge to be in court to explain her actions and if she doesn’t show up a warrant for her arrest will immediately be issued. Judge Revel is not happy about the way Amanda has been conducting herself and does not want another Lindsay Lohan fiasco on her hands.”

Beanie Sigel was supposed begin a two-year jail bid for tax evasion in just two weeks … but it looks like the rapper will be beginning his prison sentence a bit earlier than expected.

According to reports, Beanie Sigel — a former Rec-A-Fella Records signee who has worked with folks like Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg 50 Cent and even Travis Barker — was arrested in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Wednesday (Aug 29) on drug and gun possession charges, following a routine traffic stop.

The 38-year-old rapper (real name: Dwight Grant) was reportedly a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for erratic driving — swerving lanes, and riding too close to other vehicles — early Wednesday morning by Pennsylvania State Troopers.

When police searched the car and everyone inside, they found cash, drugs and guns.

Police said the driver of the vehicle, Gerald Andrews, was found to be carrying several prescription bottles, as well a small amount of marijuana, while Sigel was said to be carrying a bottle of codeine syrup (with the label scratched off) and several pills wrapped in plastic bags — a combination known on the streets as “pancakes and syrup.”

Police also said that they found a gun in the car’s console.

Sigel and Andrews are both convicted felons, and are prohibited from possessing firearms. They were both arrested and charged with gun and drug violations, TMZ reported.

Beanie Sigel owes more than $700,000 in back taxes, and was previously sentenced to two years behind bars for failing to file tax returns for the years 2003, 2004, and 2005. He was originally scheduled to report to jail on September 12th, but according to Hip-Hop magazine XXL, he will begin serving his sentence immediately.

“At this point, the Federal authorities will take him into custody and he’ll begin serving the sentence that he was going to start on September 12 anyway,” Sigel’s longtime attorney Fortunato N. Perri told XXL. “He had bail set on the new charges, but the Federal authorities have issued a detainer—a warrant, essentially—that will transfer him to Federal custody and he’ll start serving his sentence.”

Chris Schwartz, the CEO of Beanie’s record label Ruffhouse Records, said in a statement, “Obviously we are very disappointed … Beanie has been struggling with some personal issues, and we continue to support him now and throughout his impending incarceration.”

Beanie Sigel had just released a new album called “This Time” the Tuesday before his arrest.

A South Carolina mother is facing child neglect charges after police say she left her 3-year-old daughter inside a Walmart while she slept outside in the parking lot.

Spartanburg County Deputies told WYFF4 that they responded to a 911 call about a child left unattended in a shopping cart inside the store just after 10 pm Monday night (Aug 27).

When deputies arrived, they were told by store employees that a woman was captured on surveillance video leaving the child in the shopping cart, and walking right out of the store.

The surveillance footage also showed a woman pushing a shopping cart with the girl in it, then walking away from the cart and out of the camera’s view, the Spartanburg Herald Journal reported.

According to the police report, the abandoned child told the police officers that her mother — who she called “Kim” –  was in the bathroom, but they weren’t able to find her there, and no one responded to several intercom announcements about a lost child in the store.

The police report says that officers found a purse in the shopping cart that contained a wallet with a birth certificate and social security card belonging to 28-year-old Kimberly Nicole Brewer. An investigator also reportedly found a substance in the wallet that tested positive for methamphetamine.

The little girl was taken into protective custody, and about five hours later, at around 3 in the morning, Walmart employees called police and told them that Brewer had come back into the store and confessed to them that she had been asleep in her car … and when she woke up, she realized her purse and her daughter were missing.

In addition to the child neglect charges, Brewer — who was booked into the Spartanburg County jail — was also charged with possession of meth.

When it comes to Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales aka “Prince Harry” … what happens in Vegas, ends up all over the Internet.

Last week, the royal prince not only compromised his seat on the throne, but also shamed his royal family, when TMZ got a hold of two photos showing the prince COMPLETELY NAKED — and hugged up with two equally naked women — following a friendly game of “strip billiards.”

TMZ, of course, posted the pics online, and they were shared and gawked at all over the world. For referential purposes, take a gander at them below:

Royal Officials were forced to confirm that the pictures were of Prince Harry, who, we later found out stupidly invited a large group of people up to his hotel suite without asking them to surrender their phones/cameras.

As the party fired up, several girls began to snap pics on their cell-phones … and one of Harry’s minders lackadaisically told the women, “awww, come on .. no photos.”

Sources who were there tell TMZ … the minders were asleep at the wheel, enjoying the party more than protecting the Prince from himself.

After more boozing, the clothes came off … and more photos were taken, in plain view of the handlers, yet Harry’s people did nothing.

TMZ spoke with several people in the Las Vegas VIP scene who tell us they see situations like this every day and it could have been easily contained, but as one source put it, “Harry’s team acted like a bunch of amateurs.”

But that’s not even the half of it.

Sources tell Radar Online that that Prince Harry’s “naked romp” in Las Vegas in his suite at the Wynn Hotel was all caught on video … which could definitely make this scandal even bigger than it already is.

“There is video of Harry partying naked with women in the Las Vegas hotel room,” a source familiar with the situation said. “There have been some very quiet inquiries to see how much the video is worth.

“If the video goes public this could be the biggest Royal scandal ever.” (The video was not offered to the outlet that bought the photographs, according to the source.)

“The video has not been shopped around yet, its existence is being kept as discreet as possible,” the source told Radar. “With all the attention the photos got, the people with the video know it could be worth a fortune.”

Apparently, the anonymous person who owns the video hasn’t showed it to anyone, and it isn’t known whether or not they’re the same person who also took the pictures.

But the big question is … will we ever actually get to see the video?

“There are many powerful people who don’t want this video to go public and that is one reason why the seller is being so discreet right now,” the source said. “This video could generate an enormous privacy lawsuit but it could also make the seller rich.”

The content shown on the video is far from tame, according to the source who says: “A lot went on in that hotel room that night, that much is for sure.”

Oh, but wait … it gets worse.

Someone who was actually at the Las Vegas “party” in Prince Harry’s hotel room is alleging that cocaine, among other drugs, was used in the hotel room.

“Things got pretty crazy in Prince Harry’s suite that night. Everyone was drinking and drugs were also being used by some people,” the eyewitness who was present at Harry’s party exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com.

“Some people were snorting cocaine,” the eyewitness told RadarOnline.com exclusively. The eyewitness asked to remain anonymous due to the magnitude of the scandal.

The new information comes two days after a report in a Las Vegas paper said that the nude photos of the Party Prince’s wild weekend were merely the beginning of the scandal and that “something gigantic” had not yet been revealed.

The source at the party saw cocaine being used and also told Radar exclusively that a number of the guests were on drugs when they arrived at his suite.

“Some were already rolling on shrooms (hallucinogenic mushrooms) when they arrived at the party, and some were just high on weed. And that’s exactly why no one there has come forward on the record…they don’t want to be implicated for any illegal activities,” the source revealed to Radar.

The “source” made sure to mention that they didn’t actually see Prince Harry using cocaine or any other illegal drugs, but they also mentioned that they weren’t with the Prince — who is known to be a hardcore partier — the whole time.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is reportedly back to his royal duties. According to E! News, the prince refuses to hide from the media, and plans on attending the WellChild Awards in London on Monday (Sep 3), as well as one single Paralympic swimming event.

Rodney King had a number of different drugs and substances in his system when he drowned in his pool back in June, according to the details in his newly released autopsy report.

The coroner who performed the autopsy states in the report that King was “in a state of drug and alcohol induced delirium” at the time of his death, and either fell or jumped into the swimming pool, where he subsequently drowned.

The report continues, “The effects of the drugs and alcohol, combined with [King's preexisting heart condition] probably precipitated a cardiac arrhythmia and [King], thus incapacitated, was unable to save himself and drowned.”

“There is nothing in the history or autopsy examination to suggest suicide or homicide,” the report states.

The report also states that officials who arrived on the scene  found King naked and face down at the deep end of the pool, as well as a pitchfork, a hoe and a vacuum pool sweeper … all of which were used by King’s fiancee to try and fish him out of the water.

King’s fiancee explained to cops that the reason she didn’t go in after him was because she isn’t a good swimmer, and she was afraid to jump into the deep end where he was.

Rodney King became a household name in 1991 after a video recording of him being beaten by LAPD officers during a DUI traffic stop was aired on national television.

The following year, the officers involved were acquitted of all charges of police brutality, and the announcement of the verdict led to the infamous ’92 L.A. riots.

In response to the racial tensions that fueled the riots, King pleaded for peace with the famous question, “Can we all just get along?”

On the 20th anniversary of the beating in March of this year, King told reporters that he was happy.

King, who called himself a recovering addict, had long struggled with drugs and alcohol, and appeared on VH1′s “Celebrity Rehab” last year in a final bid to try and tackle his drug addiction and battle with alcoholism.

A Pennsylvania man was arrested and is facing drug charges after he butt-dialed 911 while meeting with his drug dealer.

Butt-dialing (also known as “pocket dialing”) is when you unintentionally call someone while your phone is in your pocket, allowing the receiver of the call to hear whatever you’re doing at the moment.

It’s happened to everyone at least once — either you have been butt dialed, or you were the one doing the butt dialing.

The worst times to butt dial?

1. When you’re cheating on your significant other … and you accidentally butt dial them

2. If you’re a teenager, and you tell your parents you’re just going to a friend’s house … and you unintentionally butt dial your parents while you and your buddies are out partying at 2 a.m.

3. When you’re getting drugs from a drug dealer … and you unexpectedly butt dial 911.

Number three happened to 24-year-old Justin Kryzanowski, who accidentally called the police while he while he was sitting in a car making a drug deal.

According to reports, police listened in on the whole conversation and traced the call back to Kryzanowski’s apartment, where they found various prescription meds, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles and syringes full of Suboxone — a medication used to treat opioid addiction.

During questioning, Kryzanowski, speaking in slow and slurred speach, told police that he met with his friend “Rick,” who gave him the Suboxone, which subsequently took. (Sidenote: So we’re snitching on our drug dealers now? Damn.)

After all was said and done, Justin Kryzanowski was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited offensive weapons.

Sage Stallone — son of actor/director Sylvester Stallone — was found dead Friday (Jul 13) at his apartment in Los Angeles. He was 36 years old.

Though the details surrounding his death are sketchy, sources tell TMZ that the cause of Sage Stallone’s dead was an overdose of pills, and his body was found by either a maid or his girlfriend. Paramedics were called, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unclear if his death was a suicide or accidental. Coroner’s officials also say they were in the beginning stages of the investigation.

A publicist for Sylvester Stallone confirmed his son’s death with a statement:

“Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever.”

Sage Moonblood Stallone was the oldest of Sylvester Stallone’s five children, and famously appeared with his father in two films. He made his acting debut in the 1990 movie “Rocky V” and also appeared with his father in 1996′s “Daylight.”

Police in Texas say they arrested a 22-year-old man this week after he attacked a neighbor and ate his own family’s dog alive.

Michael Terron Daniel of Waco, Texas was allegedly high on what is known as “K2″ — a form of synthetic cannabis known to exacerbate existing psychotic disorders — at the time of the June 14th incident, and was said to be “going crazy,” according to police reports.

Witnesses say the man, who had already assaulted several people in his home, told them he “was on a bad trip from ingesting K-2″ before he started crawling around “on his hands and knees and chased a neighbor” back into their home “while barking and growling like a dog.”

Daniel then allegedly took his family’s 30 to 40-pound dog out onto the front porch of the house, where he beat and strangled the pet, and began chewing “hunks of flesh” from the animal.

According to Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton, officers arrived at the house to find Daniel sitting on the porch with “blood and fur around his mouth,” and with the dead dog lying in his lap.

Police say he was “initially incoherent and unresponsive,” and while he was waiting for paramedics to arrive, Daniel asked officers to fight him or use a stun gun “to help him get off his bad trip.”

Daniel was charged with felony cruelty to a non-livestock animal and booked into the McLennan County Jail.

This latest “zombie-like” incident follows a series of bizarre attacks by people allegedly high on synthetic drugs, like bath salts, for instance. If Michael Daniel’s brutal attack sounds familiar, that’s because a guy named Rudy Eugene was shot and killed over a month ago by police in Miami after he did the same thing, but to a human being.

Police believed he was high on “bath salts,” but according to the full toxicology report from his autopsy, it was determined that no synthetic drugs were found in his system. The only “drug” that was found in his body was marijuana, which has left many medical professionals scratching their heads.

Synthetic marijuana, popularly known as “K2″ or “Spice,” is a legal substitute for the real thing, which is currently illegal in most states. However, following recent incidents, like Michael Daniel’s, officials are taking the steps necessary to get the drug banned.

In fact, a federal ban on not only synthetic drugs is on its way to President Obama for final approval after passing the Senate this week.

The bill, sponsored by New York Senator Charles Schumer, will prohibit the sale of at least 31 chemical substances — including synthetic marijuana, bath salts and other synthetic hallucinogens — sold online, in convenience stores and in smoke shops.

Authorities have released the full toxicology report from the autopsy of Rudy Eugene — the man who made headlines after he chewed another man’s face off in Miami on Memorial Day Weekend — and, contrary to popular belief, it looks like bath salts, or any other outrageous drugs for that matter, were NOT behind the gruesome attack.

According to a statement on the full toxicology report by the Miami-Dade medical examiner, the only drug detected in the 31-year-old’s lifeless body …. was marijuana. MARI … FREAKIN … JUANA!

Medical examiner Dr. Bruce Hyma said in his statement, “The laboratory has tested for but not detected any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs…This includes cocaine, LSD, amphetamines (Ecstasy, Meth and others), phencyclidine (PCP or Angel Dust), heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, synthetic marijuana (Spice), and many other similar compounds.

A second forensic toxicology test conducted by a separate lab also confirmed the absence of the most comment ingredients found in bath salts, which mimic the effects of cocaine or methamphetamine and have been associated with various bizarre “zombie attack”-like crimes in recent months, and many — including Miami police officials — believed they were what caused Rudy Eugene to attack Ronald Poppo, and chew off at least 70% of his face.

“Within the limits of current technology by both laboratories,” the statement continued, “marijuana is the only drug identified in the body of Mr. Rudy Eugene.”

But that doesn’t necessarily mean weed — literally the least harmful “drug” known to man — is what made Rudy Eugene eat Ronald Poppo‘s face. According to the Miami Herald, the medical examiner’s report didn’t address previously reported autopsy findings of what appeared to be undigested pills in Eugene’s stomach … so we’ll most likely never know what really unhinged Eugene and caused him to act so violently

As Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida, noted in a report from the Associated Press, “The problem today is that there is an almost an infinite number of chemical substances out there that can trigger unusual behavior,” adding that the medical examiner’s office in Miami is known for doing thorough work, and he’s confident that they, as well as the second lab, covered as much ground as possible.

Still, Dr. Goldberger says that it’s almost impossible for toxicology testing to keep up with all of these new street drugs that literally come out of nowhere.

“There are many of these synthetic drugs that we currently don’t have the methodology to test on, and that is not the fault of the toxicology lab. The challenge today for the toxicology lab is to stay on top of these new chemicals and develop methodologies for them, but it’s very difficult and very expensive.” Goldberger said. “There is no one test or combination of tests that can detect every possible substance out there.”

Dr. Patricia Junquera, who is an assistant professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and is considered an expert on addictions, said she wouldn’t rule out the fact that a different “strain” of marijuana could have caused the attack.

“It could have been the strain of marijuana that increases the dopamine in the brain,” she said, adding that there are two strains of marijuana called sativa, which increases dopamine and gives you energy, and indica, which is a “sleepy high.”

“People don’t really know what the amount of either is in each little packet of marijuana,” Dr. Junquera explained. “And we can’t differentiate between the two in the blood, much less in a dead person.”

She also suggested that if Eugene suffered from a mental health condition, “the marijuana could have increased even further the dopamine levels and aggravated the situation,” which, she says, is why marijuana can’t be totally ruled out.

It’s been a little over a month since the May 26th incident, and officials still have no clue what led 31-year-old Rudy Eugene to attack Ronald Poppo, a 65-year-old homeless man who was asleep moments before the assault occurred.

Surveillance video from the Miami Herald’s parking garage nearby captured the 18-minute attack, in which Poppo woke up to Eugene stripping him naked, and beating him senseless, while his attacker used his bare teeth to chew off pieces of the flesh from his face.

The police officer who shot and killed Eugene said he growled at him, with pieces of Poppo’s face hanging from his mouth, when he was told to stop.

Surprisingly, the homeless man survived the bizarre attack, however … to this day, Ronald Poppo remains in a Miami hospital with some of the most serious injuries to his face doctors have ever seen.

According to local reports out of Miami, Rudy Eugene — a former football player for the North Miami Beach High School — was once diagnosed as schizophrenic after an arrest, and authorities are unsure as to whether or not he sought treatment for the condition.

Eugene was also reportedly accused of threatening to kill his mother in another incident in which he was arrested. But despite all of that, his friends and family members say they never expected the man they knew to commit such a horrific act.

Eugene’s friends and family have said that he was a religious, non-violent person, and that he didn’t drink or do any drugs other than marijuana. Eugene was reportedly participating in a Bible study and telling friends he wanted to stop smoking weed.

“There’s no answer for it, not really,” Eugene’s younger brother, Marckenson Charles, said in an interview. “Anybody who knew him knows this wasn’t the person we knew him to be. Whatever triggered him, there is no answer for this.”

Charles said that Eugene has been buried, and his family doesn’t plan on pursuing any legal action against the Miami PD for killing Eugene because they understand that the police had to use “the force they felt was necessary, even if we don’t agree with that.”

Meanwhile, despite the victim’s injuries (he lost an eye and his nose, and must undergo another round of reconstructive surgery), Ronald Poppo is said to be “doing well,” according to doctors at the Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

His doctors say that mental health professionals have been helping him with the coping, and he’s coping “remarkably well.” Poppo’s family has said that they haven’t been in contact with him for more than 30 years and thought he was dead.

Now that we know that “bath salts” didn’t do it (and we know marijuana for damn sure didn’t do it)…

Freddy Sharp knows exactly what it feels like to be high on “bath salts” … and he says it’s not a good feeling.

“Balth Salts” — not to be confused with the scented bath salts you would buy at Victoria’s Secret or Bath & Bodyworks and put into your bathtub — is the synthetic drug that the “Miami Cannibal” Rudy Eugene is believed to have been on when he chewed off a homeless man’s face off last month.

The horrific 18-minute attack, captured on video surveillance cameras nearby, only ended after Eugene was shot dead by police. The victim remains in critical condition at a Miami hospital with close to 80% of his face missing.

“The guy just kept eating the other guy, like ripping his skin,” witness Larry Vega told reporters, adding that when Eugene was told to stop, he growled like an animal with flesh hanging from his teeth, and continued to eat the victim’s face.

According to officials, the synthetic drug known as “bath salts” are marketed under that name because they are usually sold in smoking paraphernalia stores disguised as a common household product, with a label that reads “not for human consumption.”

They contain amphetamine-like chemicals such as methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) and are sold as “cocaine substitutes” or “synthetic LSD.” Its effects include paranoia, hallucinations, convulsions and psychotic episodes.

27-year-old Freddy Sharp, a self-proclaimed drug addict since the age of 13, describes his overdose on bath salts as the “darkest, evilest thing imaginable.”

Shocking video footage of Sharp shortly after taking the highly potent drug — commonly called the “new LSD” shows the Tennessee native squirming around, and then making faces and singing to himself while he is strapped down by paramedics.

Sharp told CNN that he was hallucinating about being in an insane asylum and being possessed by Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th” movies.

“I just felt all kinds of crazy,” said Sharp, who says he hasn’t used bath salts in months, ever since the overdose convinced him it was time to quit. “It felt like impending doom was coming down on me,” he recalled. “I felt like I was about to bust loose and actually hurt somebody.”

Though Sharp says he never felt the urge to “eat anybody’s flesh,” he admits the drug did make him feel invincible.

“You feel like you’re 10 feet tall and bulletproof, and you actually do not feel any pain,” he said … which explains why it took police officers over half a dozen shots to kill Rudy Eugene — who was apparently strong enough to actually hold someone down, and use his bare teeth to rip almost 80% of their face from their head.

Freddy Sharp gave a warning to other users of bath salts:

“The only thing I can say to them is that if you value your life, you’ll stop it and you won’t do it anymore, because it will destroy your life. It will destroy your family. It will destroy everything.”

The involvement of “bath salts” in the horrific attack on Ronald Poppo remains unverified, as police weren’t able to recover anything from the crime scene, and Rudy Eugene’s autopsy didn’t reveal too much either; though a toxicology report is expected to be released in the next couple of weeks.

Police in Miami believe that the naked homeless man who was shot and killed while he ate the face of another homeless man may have been high on a dangerous drug known as “bath salts.”

Miami police identified the cannibalistic attacker as 31-year-old Rudy Eugene. His victim — identified as 65-year-old Ronald Poppo — remains in critical condition in a Miami-area hospital after at least 75-80% of his face was chewed off.

Hospital staffers say Poppo is suffering from “some of the most horrific injuries” they have ever encountered, and he is completely unrecognizable after Eugene ate part of his nose, cheeks, ears and eyes.

The harrowing attack, which has shocked the world, took place Saturday afternoon (May 26) on a freeway bridge near Miami Beach.

According to police, Rudy Eugene, who they believe had come from a Memorial Day weekend beach party, stripped a sleeping Ronald Poppo naked, beat him, then proceeded to chew lumps of flesh from his face and head.

Eugene continued to eat the man’s face even after a Miami police officer shot him in the chest.

An eyewitness said that Eugene growled like an animal when officers told him to stop before they shot him half a dozen more times, killing him instantly.

Stomach-churning images of Ronald Poppo’s horrific injuries and the crime scene have gone viral.

The photos of the crime scene show a partially-clothed Poppo laying next to his fully nude attacker, and blood is everywhere.

Another set of photos, allegedly taken at the hospital, shows the extent of Poppo’s injuries, and the massive destruction done to his face and head. His facial features are non-existent, and all you can see is a bloody eye and a blood-soaked goatee.

Doctors, police and news reporters all theorize that Rudy Eugene was high on “bath salts,” a dangerous drug that mimics the effects of highly potent (and illegal) substances like cocaine, LSD and meth-amphetamines.

As Dr. Howard Mell, an emergency room physician from Ohio, noted to CBS News: “These are not the bath salts you buy at Victoria’s Secret … There’s not soap in them.”

Mell says that at least seven people — all under the age of 27 — have died in the two Cleveland-area hospitals where he works at as a result of using “bath salts,” which can cause severe agitation, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure and a number of other ailments.

The drug can also lead to the body overheating, which explains why Rudy Eugene stripped completely naked before his savage attack.

Users of the dangerous drug also experience hallucinations, lose touch with reality and can exhibit psychotic behavior, though calling Eugene’s behavior “psychotic” would be an understatement.

EMS workers who have responded to cases involving users who are high on “bath salts” say that they exhibit super-human strength and don’t respond to stun guns or tasers.

Several workers — and sometimes even burly police officers and/or security guards — are usually required to hold down a person who is high on “bath salts.”

“Addictive substances, whether they are bath salts, alcohol or other drugs, can have horrific and costly consequences. Sometimes these consequences can result from only one use; other times they are a result of the complex brain disease of addiction,” says Susan E. Foster, vice president and director of policy research and analysis at The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.

“Together, risky use of addictive substances and addiction constitute our nation’s largest and most costly health problem. In the interest of health and public safety, Americans must begin to understand that substance use is a preventable public health problem and addiction is a treatable disease,” she added.

According to Jeffrey Scott, a spokesman for the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency, “bath salts” – the street name for the drug that is considered a replacement for cocaine or a synthetic form of the hallucinogen LSD — can be snorted, smoked, or broken down and injected.

Whitney Houston‘s good friend and rumored lover Ray J is firing back at claims from Bobby Brown‘s other sister Leolah Brown that he provided the late singer with the drugs that contributed to her tragic death.

On Thursday (Mar 22), news broke that Whitney Houston’s February 11th death was caused by accidental drowning aided by drugs in her system, including some cocaine that she had apparently taken immediately before she got into the bathtub, where her bodyguard found her unconscious.

Leolah Brown (Whitney’s former sister-in-law) was on Dr. Drew to speak about the news, and basically blamed Ray J for Whitney’s death by accusing him of supplying Whitney with the cocaine that coroners say caused her to go into cardiac arrest, pass out, then drown.

“I saw Ray J coming out of the hotel, hiding his head, being pushed into the car,” she told Drew. “Why? I looked and I said, ‘why is he hiding his face?’ He’s always trying to show his face when he’s around Whitney. Why now? Why are you trying to hide now Ray J?”

Now Ray J has spoken out against Leolah’s allegations, calling her interview with Dr. Drew “rife with false statements,” and denying any involvement with Whitney’s recent cocaine use.

And furthermore … Leolah wasn’t even anywhere near Whitney or the Beverly Hilton hotel the day she died. In fact, she and Whitney haven’t even been in contact for over a year!

His reps sent the following statement to Gossip On This:

“Even though Leolah Brown was nowhere near the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the day Whitney Houston died, CNN proceeded to broadcast an interview with Ms. Brown in which she falsely claimed that Ray J was at the hotel and contributed to Whitney Houston’s death.

“Even the most minimal inquiry with anyone actually in contact with Whitney would reveal that Leolah Brown had been out of contact with Whitney for more than a year and was no where near the scene on the day of her death.”

Ray J’s rep also said in another statement to TMZ that he didn’t even know Whitney was using cocaine again, and her allegations that he was to blame for her untimely death are NOT true … because he wasn’t with Houston the day she died. He was in San Diego.

So in other words … Leolah Brown is a big fat liar.

Whitney Houston‘s cause of death has finally been revealed.

Ever since her sudden and unexpected death back in February, many have wondered what exactly were the contributing factors.

Now those questions have finally been answered, as the L.A. County coroner’s office has released their official report on the death of Whitney Houston.

According to the coroner’s report, Whitney’s official cause of death was due to accidental drowning.

The report also states that the 48-year-old singer had cocaine in her system at the time of her death, and she also suffered from heart disease, both of which also contributed to her untimely passing.

Whitney also had small traces of marijuana, Xanax, Benadryl and other medication in her system, but neither of those contributed to her death.

A source connected to the investigation told TMZ that it is “very possible” that Whitney had a heart attack that caused her to lose consciousness and drown. The heart attack could have been triggered by hardening of the arteries due to cocaine use.

The Coroner’s Office says Whitney used cocaine “immediately prior to her collapse,” however investigators say they found ZERO evidence of cocaine in the hotel room where she died, which may be because someone allegedly removed all traces of cocaine from the room before authorities arrived.

Sources connected to Houston who where with her the day she died told TMZ that whoever removed the cocaine was also the person who supplied it to Whitney.

The police say that the investigation has not been closed, and they aren’t commenting on whether or not they are looking at charging the individual who removed the drugs with evidence tampering.

Whitney Houston was found dead by her bodyguard at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on February 11th 2012, the day before the Grammy Awards, and just hours before the annual Clive Davis pre-Grammy party, both of which Houston was scheduled to attend.

Houston was laid to rest on February 19th at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. next to her father, following a star-studded televised memorial at New Hope Baptist church the day before.

The Houston family released the following statement shortly after the details of her toxicology report were revealed:

“We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure.”

Cissy Houston — Whitney’s mother — is said to be hurt after learning that her daughter was doing cocaine once again.

Sources close to the gospel legend say that she’s telling them that it’s so painful, that she feels like she’s reliving the death of her daughter all over again.

Recovering drug addict Scott Storch was arrested at a Las Vegas hotel earlier this month after cops found him in possession of cocaine.

According to TMZ, a hotel employee called police to complain that Storch wouldn’t pay for his room. When cops arrived, they discovered that he had some cocaine on him, and he was arrested on site and taken to jail. He was later released after posting $5,000 bail.

Scott Storch is famous for the work he has done with the likes of Beyonce, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pink and countless others, but he is also famous for blowing the $30 million fortune he earned after getting hooked on drugs back in 2006.

Storch has been in and out of rehab trying to shake his addiction ever since, and from the looks of it … the road to recovery is a long one.

Suge Knight was reportedly arrested in Las Vegas this week after cops found weed in his car during a routine traffic stop.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the former Death Row rap mogul was pulled over at 5:34 PM Wednesday for making an unsafe lane change in his sick black Bentley.

But when cops ran Suge’s name in the system … they noticed multiple warrants out for his arrest, stemming from minor traffic violations.

After a quick search, cops say they found a small amount of marijuana in Suge’s possession.

Knight was eventually hauled to a nearby jail for processing. He was released a short time later.

Suge Knight — who is no stranger to getting into trouble with the law — is currently serving 3 years unsupervised probation for driving on an suspended license.

Sophia Stockton — a Kansas City-area college student — ordered a used textbook about terrorism for one of her classes from Amazon, which is probably something lots of college students do. Pretty normal, right?

Wrong.

Stockton says as she was flipping through the pages of the book, a clear plastic bag with a mysterious white powdery substance fell out.

So she took the book and the bag to a nearby police station, where they discovered exactly what that “substance” was.

“I told them white powder was in my terrorism textbook and so I put it on the table and they’re like, ‘oh, okay,’ And so he went back and tested it,” Stockton recalls. “ He comes back and says, ‘you didn’t happen to order some cocaine with your textbook, did you?’ And I was like, no!”

Police officials didn’t report the incident to Amazon, but Stockton did reach out to the shopping website, though she doesn’t believe they are to blame, and will most likely continue to purchase from them in the future.

“I have ordered many times from Amazon and this is the first time I’ve seen anything like this,” Stockton told a local newspaper. “I don’t think that Amazon is at fault in this case. They can’t check every book that goes through their warehouse. I’m guessing that it (the cocaine) was just left in there by the previous owner of the book.”

Police believe there may have been up to $400 worth of cocaine in the bag, and investigators are currently trying to figure out where it may have come from.

We bet whoever that bag of coke belongs to will be pissed to find out they left it in an old book they sold to Amazon!

Demi Moore‘s emergency rush to the hospital Monday night was all over nitrous oxide, according to new details from TMZ.

The 49 year-old actress — who is currently seeking help at a treatment facility for stress and exhaustion — reportedly went into a seizure after doing “Whip-Its,” which are nitrous oxide canisters.

A friend who happened to be at Demi’s home during her medical scare told Emergency workers the actress using the party drug.

According to TMZ, Whip-Its are uncommon for people of Moore’s age and social status.

Honestly, it’s really sad that things have gotten to this extremely low point for Demi Moore.

Snoop Dogg’s chronic smoking habits finally caught up with him over the weekend.

The Doggfather was arrested in Texas for marijuana possession after a canine dog discovered less than an ounce of weed on his tour bus.

According to TMZ, Snoop’s bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca…the same town where Willie Nelson was caught with weed in 2010.

Border patrol ran a standard inspection of the bus with the dog … when the animal alerted the agents to a possible hit in a waste basket in the back of the vehicle.

The agents claim they found a red prescription bottle with several joints inside. We’re told the bottle contained under a half-ounce of weed.

Cops say Snoop admitted the dope belonged to him. Snoop has a prescription for cannabis in California, but law enforcement tells us, there is a zero tolerance policy for weed in Texas … regardless of his status in other states.

Snoop was issued a citation for misdemeanor drug possession and released. If convicted on the drug charge, Snoop could face up to 180 days in jail.

First it was Willie Nelson, and now Snoop has been arrested for weed.

The next time you’re in court for drug charges……it might not be the smartest idea to wear a shirt that gives instructions on how to cook crack cocaine. (It might not help your case that much!)

A man facing drug trafficking charges made a strong first impression at his court appearance in Broward County when he showed up wearing a “crack shirt.”

The man’s shirt included instructions for making crack cocaine.

Michael Weinstein, the attorney who took a picture of the shirt, said, “I realized the gentleman who was up at the podium in front of a judge charged with trafficking is wearing a jacket with a how-to manual of how to cook crack cocaine. I couldn’t believe the gumption this person had.”

The defendant has not yet been identified.

Weinstein told Local 10 the judge at the court appearance remained professional and did not comment on the man’s choice of clothing.

23-year-old Deangelo Mitchell (left) and his brother Wayne (20, on the right), both from Charleston, SC, were arrested after a routine traffic stop on November 30th when a cop found three small bags of cocaine hidden underneath the backseat of their 2001 Chrysler.

Video footage recorded from the squad car shows the men as they are being transported to jail.

In the video, Deangelo persuades his brother to do a simple favor for him: swallow the cocaine hiding in his butt (of all places) so that the cops wouldn’t find it on him.

Apparently … Deangelo had a lengthy rap sheet, and was worried that he would face life in prison if the cops found the extra ounce of coke on him … on top of the coke they had already found in the car.

A clearly nervous Deangelo tells his brother Wayne in the video “I can’t get no more strikes … no more” … before instructing his little brother to eat the cocaine from his behind.

“One of us gotta do it, you the only one that don’t have any strikes. …You my little brother… I’m gonna get life,” he said, according to an ABC news affiliate from Charleston.

Wayne eventually gives in to his older brother’s constant pleas and eats the cocaine, which Deangelo had pulled from the back of his pants, most likely right out of his butt crack.

As Wayne eats the cocaine, Deangelo appears to regret asking his little brother to get rid of his drugs in that way. It seems as though Deangelo feels bad for his little brother, and knows what’s about to happen next.

After he finishes eating the coke, Wayne asks Deangelo to check his mouth. His last words were, “I love you bro” and the video fades out.

Shortly after ingesting the ounce of coke, police say Wayne went into convulsions and started to bleed from his mouth. After being questioned, Deangelo told cops “he believed his brother swallowed an ounce of cocaine.”

Within the hour, Deangelo’s younger brother Wayne was dead. Toxicology tests determined the cause of death was an overdose of cocaine.

Now, in addition to the drug charges, Deangelo Mitchell is facing involuntary manslaughter charges, as well living the rest of his life with the guilt of inadvertently killing his little brother with cocaine from his buttocks, which is worse than any man-made punishment.

Actor Jermaine “Huggy” Hopkins — who famously starred as troubled youth Thomas Sams in the 1989 movie “Lean On Me” — was reportedly arrested and charged on felony marijuana charges after Arizona cops say he purchased 200 pounds of pot from an undercover cop.

TMZ reported:

According to police, the 38-year-old actor lives in North Carolina … but traveled to AZ to make the drug deal on Tuesday.

Cops in Maricopa County say they set up the sting operation … and after Hopkins took possession of the dope, they pulled over his SUV and arrested him. Cops say they found $100k in cash in the ride.

Officials later searched Hopkins’ Arizona apartment and claim they found an additional 100 pounds of weed. Police say Hopkins told them he got involved in the drug deal to provide a nice Christmas for his family.

Hopkins is currently being held on $35,000 bond. If he’s convicted on the marijuana charges, he could face up to 5 years in prison.

An Oklahoma woman was arrested Thursday after police caught her mixing chemicals to make meth inside a South Tulsa Walmart.

Video surveillance shows 45-year-old Elizabeth Alisha Greta Halfmoon — also known as simply Alisha Halfmoon (BLANK STARE) — arriving at the store around noon.

Walmart security called the police about 6 hours later after they noticed her acting suspicious, and when officers arrived on the scene, they asked Ms. Halfmoon why she was cooking meth at Walmart.

Her response was that she was simply “too broke to buy the chemicals.” She also told officers that she “was not very good at” making meth. (WOW!)

“She didn’t have the money to make the purchases of the chemicals that were needed so she was taking what was needed in the bottle,” Officer David Shelby told local news station Fox 23. “When I saw her she had just finished mixing sulfuric acid with starter fluid in a bottle.”

Alisha Greta Halfmoon told police she cooked meth inside a Walmart because she couldn't afford to buy the chemicals and take them home.

Halfmoon was immediately apprehended, and officials took the ingredients out the store before anyone was hurt. In fact, the people shopping at the Walmart had no idea that someone had turned the store into an impromptu meth lab.

“This is a family store,” said Jessica Fuentes, who also had her 1-year-old son with her. “People need to start thinking. If she has family she needs to think about her family. It’s just wrong.”

“Something could have happened, something could have blown up in there,” said shopper Jonathan Tary.

“When firefighters were on the scene she made statements to them that is what she was doing, she was attempting to obtain these chemicals and was in the process of trying to manufacture meth. However, she said she was not very good at it,” Officer Shelby said.

Halfmoon was arrested and charged with endeavoring to manufacture meth and is currently being held on $100,000 bond with an arraignment scheduled for next week.

To make matters worse (How can it get any worse, right?) … police records show that Halfmoon was just released on similar charges just a few days ago on December 6th.

Police say they arrested Halfmoon just last month in a smurf sting. Smurfs are known among police as meth cooks or recruits who purchase pseudoephedrine to make meth. The medication is often found in cold and allergy medicines and is the main ingredient needed to make meth.

Jail records show she was booked on November 6 and released from jail on those charges on December 6. Records show she received a deferred sentence and bonded out on $7,500.

Two dolphins died after marine park bosses gave a group of party animals (no pun intended) permission to host a rave just yards away from their pool.

Officials initially thought the deafening music from the rave may have killed dolphins Shadow and Chelmers, but after looking deeper into the situation, they discovered that the pair of dolphins may have died after ingesting drugs. Zoo vets are currently awaiting toxicology results to confirm their suspicion.

According to the Daily Mail, Shadow was the first dolphin to die shortly after the event. Chelmers died two days later after what Connyland zookeeper Nadja Gasser described as a “drawn out and painful” death.

“The death was very drawn out and painful. The death went on for over an hour. It was horrendous. I have not been able to sleep since,” told local media. “When we went to start the dolphin training we noticed the same thing that had happened to Shadow was happening with Chelmers. He was drifting under the water and was clearly in trouble and so we jumped into the water. We tried to hold him. He was shaking all over and was foaming at the mouth.

“Eventually we got him out of the water. His tongue was hanging out. He could hardly breath. He was given adrenalin, but it didn’t help. After an hour the dolphin died,’ she added.”

Gasser, a dolphin expert, continued, “I do not think Chelmers or Shadow died of natural causes. I think our dolphins have been poisoned.”

Before the event, wildlife experts and animal activists warned both the marine park and local planners of the dangers of hosting a rave so close to the dolphins.

One person said, “At this stage we don’t know whether they were poisoned or bludgeoned to death by the noise. But one thing is certain – two healthy dolphins don’t die within hours of each other for nothing.”

Connyland, located in Switzerland, has denied any wrong-doing, however, Swiss prosecutors have confirmed that they are investigating the deaths of both dolphins.

And yet another case of the “OMG I didn’t know these were pot brownies!” has struck again.

Three senior citizens were sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon (Oct 1) after they were unknowingly served brownies laced with marijuana at a funeral.

The victims, all in their 70s and 80s, were attending a funeral in Huntington Beach, CA when they ate some brownies being passed around on a tray, KTLA reports.

Turns out … the brownies were laced with medical marijuana!

Shortly after consuming the weed brownies, the three elderly people started complaining of “nausea, dizziness and the inability to stand unassisted” (all symptoms of being high, which are probably amplified when you’re in your 70s and 80s!), and they were admitted to a local hospital.

“At the service, a tray of brownies were offered that has since been determined to have contained ‘medical’ marijuana,” Huntington Beach Police Department officials said. “No one was told the brownies contained the marijuana before they were consumed.”

A quick police investigation discovered that the tray of pot brownies were brought as a “tribute” to the deceased who, according to the investigators, was a user of medicinal ganja.

Thankfully, all three of the senior citizens who munched on the pot brownies are going to be completely fine, which makes it okay for all of us to laugh at 3 old people getting completely STONED from eating pot brownies.

Police in Hong Kong are celebrating their biggest drug bust EVER … after seizing nearly half a ton cocaine, which holds a street value of around $77 million!

The BBC reports:

Drugs officers raided five locations across the city, including a recycling warehouse and private residences.

Eight people – five men and three women – have been arrested. Six are due to appear in court on Monday, while two have been released on police bail.

The haul had been hidden under heaps of recycled plastic materials.

The recycled plastic is thought to have been brought into the city in shipping containers.

Chief Superintendent John Ribeiro of the Narcotics Bureau said police acted after receiving a tip-off about a South American transnational drug syndicate.

Five Mexicans, an American man and a Colombian woman with Hong Kong residency were among those arrested, a police spokesperson was quoted by the AFP news agency as saying.

A total of 567kg (1,250 pounds) of cocaine was found. Ch Supt Ribeiro said officers expected more drugs to be found.

Some of the drugs could have been intended for use in Hong Kong, the BBC’s Annemarie Evans reports.

But there is also an increasing customer base across the border in mainland China where growing wealth has led to a bigger appetite for recreational drugs, she adds.

A 20-year-old Irishman had a $200,000 lunch — and now he might have to pay.

Security personal at a Sao Paulo, Brazil airport on Monday detained a nervous traveler later allegedly found to be smuggling approximately 72 bags of cocaine in his stomach, the Irish independent reports.

Authorities with the Brazilian Federal Police released x-ray images of the suspect, identified only as F.B.B., which appear to show his belly full of drugs. The nearly two-pound stash of coke is estimated to be worth $200,000.

Police said the man was boarding a flight to Lisbon en route to Brussels. Instead of making the trip, authorities escorted the man to a nearby hospital where the capsules were removed, MSNBC reports.

The suspect is charged with international drug trafficking and could face up to 15 years in prison.

Rapper Paul Wall and R&B singer Baby Bash were arrested over the weekend for possession of marijuana.

The pair were taken into custody in El Paso, TX and were released shortly afterwards on $300 bond.

Paul Wall tweeted the pic above and the following message after his arrest:

A 27 year-old man is now facing gun and drug charges after cops discovered a marijuana-growing operation in his home after a woman wrecked her car into his home and killed his roommate. (And just in case you were wondering, Yes. All of that happened in one incident!)

A woman backing her car out of her driveway Saturday afternoon reversed into a house across the street, killing a man inside.

Just after 12:00 p.m. 28-year-old Zachary Isenberg of the 400 block of Connor Street, was standing by his couch when a 1995 Mercury Marquis came crashing through his home, pinning him underneath the vehicle, according to Will County Deputy Chief Ken Kaupas.

Kaupas said that according to the roommate of the victim, 27-year-old Thomas Micucci, the two men were playing video games when they heard a noise outside.  Isenberg stood up to see what it was when the car came through the house.

The woman driving the car, Patricia Dolton, was reversing out of her driveway when the accelerator became stuck, causing her to crash through a telephone pole, splitting it in half and then through the home, according to Kaupas

Isenberg was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Kaupas said.

As officers began to search Isenberg and Micucci’s home for more victims, they came across a locked door.  Kaupas said they discovered a small pot-growing operation in a bathroom behind the door.

Micucci was at the hospital at the time the officers discovered the 13 marijuana plants. During that time officers also discovered a half ounce of cocaine and $1,500 – $2,000 cash in Isenberg’s bedroom and a firearm in Micucci’s bedroom, according to Kaupas.

Micucci, who is a felon, was later arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a felon, a class 3 felony and production of marijuana, a class 4 felony.

A Canadian woman brought in a little more than a plate of dessert treats when she accidentally fed her office co-workers a batch of year-old brownies laced with marijuana.

The woman says she found some brownies in her freezer one day, and decided to bring them to work to share with her colleagues.

Without tasting them first herself, she placed the brownies in the office fridge where her co-workers discovered them and ate some. A few hours later, three people were rushed to the hospital, with “light-headedness, numbness in the limbs and disorientation,” and suspected that they were suffering from food poisoning.

Turns out they were just high. Really high. Really really high. Really really really, REALLY high.

Apparently, the pot-laced brownies that the woman gave her co-workers were actually made by her son about a year ago, and had freezer burn. (How on earth did she not notice a batch of brownies sitting in her freezer for a year?)

The son admitted to baking the brownies, and no criminal charges were filed against him or his clearly oblivious mother, though the son was sentenced to a few hours of community service.

That woman should come work in our office, and we’ll put her in charge of snacks and desserts!

A Louisiana man has been sentenced to life in prison for marijuana charges.

A Louisiana man convicted of marijuana possession for the fourth time has been sentenced to life in prison. A judge threw the book at 35-year-old Cornell Hood, using the state’s tough repeat-offender law. Hood had previously admitted to three earlier charges of distributing marijuana and possession with intent to distribute in New Orleans. He received a five-year suspended sentence and five years probation on each charge, according to the Times-Picayune. But he was busted again in his new home in St. Tammany Parish with a dozen bags of marijuana, a scale, and $1,600 in cash. It took the jury a day to convict him.

A highly resourceful Florida woman was recently busted for hiding knives and prescription pills in her vagina and fat rolls.

Gloria Esther Perez, 25, faces a charge of carrying a concealed weapon after her arrest in April. Fort Myers cops discovered the unusual hiding spot after responding to a report of Perez fighting with another woman, a police report said.

When approached by an officer, Perez and the other woman,  Whitney Noelle Krimmel, 28, were “very cooperative,” telling him they were fighting over buying cigarettes, police said.

However, the longer police remained, the more “nervous” the women appeared to be, the report said.

An officer also noticed that Perez was becoming increasingly fidgety, “putting hands into her pockets and near her private area like she was trying to conceal something.”

Enlisting the help of a female deputy, Perez was searched and found to be hiding dozens of prescription pills, police said.

Perez then “became ill,” the police report states, and was taken to a hospital.

Once there, it was discovered she was concealing two knives. One was tucked within the folds of her fat while the other was “hidden in her vagina.”

In addition to the concealed weapons charge, Perez faces several charges relating to the possession of narcotics.

A Florida teacher was recently arrested after cops found five bags of weed in his mouth. (Really dude???)

A Florida high school teacher may have bitten off more than he could chew when he was Tasered by cops and five bags of pot popped out of his mouth.

Bradley Gummow, a 33-year-old Polk County teacher, was arrested in Bartow Monday morning after a simple traffic stop turned into a bizarre drug bust, according to WTSP.com.

Cops pulled Gummow over around 11 a.m., and while they were interviewing him they noticed a plastic bag in his mouth.

When police asked him what was in his mouth, Gummow reportedly turned around and refused to cooperate.

That’s when Gummow, an 11th and 12th grade teacher of International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement students at Bartow High, got Tasered.

Police say the stun gun jolt caused Gummow to spit out five small bags of marijuana, which weighed a total of 4.7 grams.

Gummow was charged with possession of marijuana, resisting an arrest without force or violence and violation of probation. He had already been on probation for reckless driving involving alcohol.

A tour group in New Zealand could possibly face life in prison after being caught with $8 million worth of meth.

A group of Malaysians posing as tourists was busted in New Zealand after authorities found nearly two pounds of methamphetamine stashed in each of their shoes.

Officials said the 10 traffickers were posing as an innocent tour group in order to try to throw cops off their scent.

But police at Auckland Airport got suspicious after checking the group’s schedules – and noticing that everyone in the group was walking funny, officials said.

“They had things like itineraries that were in English but (they) couldn’t speak English,” customs official Mark Day told TV New Zealand. “Those are the sorts of things that stand out to us.”

Customs officials valued the total haul at around $8 million dollars.

A group of Taiwan smugglers tried a similar stunt last year, posing as tourists to try to fool cops, Day said.

The group was made up of 10 men and two women. They told customs officials that they worked as waiters and builders.

They were booked on illegal drug importing charges and could face up to life in prison if convicted because meth is a Class A illegal drug in New Zealand.

The Malaysian Foreign Ministry reported recently that nearly half of the all country’s citizens arrested overseas were busted on drug charges, the Malaysian Star reported.
