Showing off her new blonde hairstyle, Rihanna flaunted that perfectly sexy body of hers in a sheer bodysuit as she was spotted leaving a Super Bowl party at Greystone Manor nightclub in West Hollywood Sunday night (Feb 5).

Her ex boyfriend Chris Brown and former rumored love interest (and 2-time collaborator) Drake were also in the building partying it up, which makes the second time in the past 2 weeks that Rihanna and Chris Brown have publicly breathed the same air at the exact same place.

On January 22nd, the pair were spotted leaving Greystone Manor after a night of partying, but they didn’t leave together, nor were they spotted even acknowledging each other’s presence inside the venue.

Brown, who was with his girlfriend Karrueche, left the club through the front door, while Rihanna exited through a side door and hopped into her own SUV.

The week before, Chris’ reps had put out a statement insisting that he and Rihanna are “just friends” following a tabloid report stating that the former lovers would “meet up very casually” and Rihanna “comes to see Brown anytime she’s in L.A.”

“He and Rihanna are just friends,” Chris’ reps noted. “He is with his girlfriend, Karrueche, and is not cheating.”

Chris and Rihanna are both set to perform Sunday night at the Grammys, and they are both up for multiple awards. Do you think they’ll take any pictures or do anything together?

The Young Money star has come forward and apologized to Vanessa Bryant for his diss line in “Stay Schemin.” He also plans to hang up the beef with Common and not make a response track.

On responding to Common:

 ”No. Because despite how it’s been worded by him that situation is not a “hip hop moment” or a “battle for the sake of musical integrity”…it’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album. More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn’t a fan of what Common has done for our genre. A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story.”

On dissing Vanessa Bryant:

“That line came from a conversation about being this young and making this much money and the fear of losing it all. I just used his potential situation to address my own life. I never intended to offend Vanessa or anyone else. That line had everything to do with me and what goes on in my head as a 25 year old man with this much income flowing in. Kobe is and always will be a friend and an icon to me.”

Remember the crazy Drake stan that got his name tattooed across her entire forehead? Well, in an interview after a photo of the tattoo went viral, the L.A.-based artist behind the ink-work called Drake a “goofnugget R&B dude” and “the softest motherf**ker in Hip-Hop.”

Naturally, Drake didn’t take too kindly to the tattoo artist’s insult, and issued a threatening message for the guy:

“The guy who tatted is a f**king a**hole though, I will tell you that. F**k you to that tattoo artist by the way because you’re an asshole for real. You should lose your job and never do tattoos again and I don’t f**k with you and if I ever see you I’m going to f**k you up.”

A man of his word, Drake recently confronted the dude in the “Drakey-est” way possible …. by sending in a couple of big, burly bodyguards to the guy’s tattoo shop “to give him a warning.” A STERN warning, at that!

“Drake sent his security detail into the shop to inform me that ‘nobody is going to hurt Drake in the state of California.’ I don’t remember ever saying I was going to hurt him, but maybe they were referring to his feelings,” tattoo artist Kevin Campbell wrote on his Facebook.

He elaborated a little more the next day via his Twitter:

Did Drake already break-up with his new chick Dollicia Bryan?

Just a few days after she confirmed they were a couple, the Young Money rapper was spotted boo’d up with his ex-girlfriend Nebby at his NYE performance in Times Square.

According to The YBF, Drake and Dollicia got into a heated argument over whether or not he should wear hazel colored contacts (we already know what side Drizzy was on) while dining at Villa Blanca in L.A.

Long story short, Drake became offended and the fighting continued until Dollicia eventually walked away from the table and left him there alone. Drake left shortly afterward pissed the hell off.

If this is the case … somebody please smack Drizzy in the face for this one!! You let all of that fine woman go over some freakin’ contacts dude?!?

Drake helped Carson Daly say goodbye to the year 2011 and hello to 2012 on “NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly” Sunday night (Dec 31) in Times Square, New York City by performing songs from his new album “Take Care,” including “Make Me Proud,” “The Motto” and “Headlines.”

“It’s absolutely incredible. I’ve never really experienced anything like it,” said Drake, who was wearing his $5,000 (CND) OVO x Canada Goose jacket. “All these wonderful people and fans and music is in the air. It’s a new year, I’m excited for 2012.”

Also spotted in Times Square with Drake and Carson Daly were E! personality Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill.

The Mall of America describes itself as the largest mall in the United States.

The world famous “Mall of America” — the largest mall in the United States — turned into a scene of mass hysteria when a huge fight broke out Monday afternoon (Dec 26) as shoppers were partaking in after-Christmas sales.

According to CNN, authorities say they arrested at least nine people following a “series of fights” at the nation’s biggest shopping mall that had chairs flying and caused after-Christmas shoppers to flee in fear of their safety.

The melee reportedly began in the food court before it quickly relocated to the other various parts of the mall. Shoppers were knocked to the ground, and a number of stores were forced to close early.

CNN reported that at one point, before arrests were made at around 4pm, more than 10 separate fights had broken out.

Several eye witnesses told police officials that the fights were sparked by rumors claiming that popular rappers Drake and Lil Wayne were going to make an appearance at the mall.

In one of the various videos recorded during the ruckus, you can clearly see a man picking up a chair and throwing it as crowds of shoppers, some screaming, fled the mall’s food court.

The video also shows what looks like a group of young people fighting before officers stepped in.

“There were drinks thrown on the floor and chairs being thrown everywhere,” witness Tess Dessalgne told television station KARE, adding that “everyone started running toward the fight,” while the video shows other people leaving the area.

Another woman told CNN affiliate WCCO that she “didn’t really know what was going on” when stores randomly began closing down, but soon saw police “pushing us all away from Nordstrom (department store).”

For the most part, the mall remained open, though some stores closed down temporarily. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.

Regarding the Lil Wayne/Drake rumors, Bloomington police official Mark Stehlik said, “I’ve heard that and some other things as far as speculation. I don’t know that there’s anything to substantiate that,” adding that police are still investigating what started the fight.

“Frankly, at this time, we don’t really have any idea, and we might never. It’s hard to say what starts a fight,” he said.

The Mall of America said in an official statement, “Unfortunately, as we have witnessed at shopping sites across the country this week, large groups of individuals can come together and create bad situations. It is very unfortunate to see these incidents occurring, especially during the holiday shopping season when families are out spending time together.”

In an interview with Power 106 radio personality Mando Fresko, the “Headlines” rapper revealed that he wants to meet the young woman and understand what made her get the tat. He also threatened to f*ck up the tattoo artist if he ever sees him out.

I want to meet her and understand why and what happened? That’s cool though; I feel you 100%. To me that is absolutely incredible. The guy who tatted it is a f*cking asshole though, I will tell you that. I don’t f*ck with that guy! F**k you to that tattoo artist by the way because you’re an asshole for real. YOLO, which stands for “You Only Lives Once,” is a term originally coined by Drake that shows up in a song on his new album “Take Care” called “The Motto (YOLO),” featuring his rap mentor Lil Wayne.

“You only live once: That’s the motto n***a, YOLO,” Drake sings during the song‘s chorus.

Zac was also wearing a pair of mismatched blue socks during the press junket … and when a reporter asked him what his deal was, he responded, “I just noticed. It’s what we do in California … maybe it’ll take off here now.”

Drake‘s biggest (and dumbest) fan thought it would be a cool idea to get his name — in BIG, HUGE, CAPITAL LETTERS — tattooed accross her forehead.

So she did it, and now she’s stuck with the word “DRAKE” on her forehead for the rest of her life.

Hi Kevin, so who took the picture?

Norm, my boss. It sucks because the photo makes the tattoo look all crooked and janky, but it’s actually pretty well applied and straight as an arrow. The other before, during, and after photos taken by my co-worker are better. But when Norm took the now famous picture, one of her shaved eyebrows was tensed up a bit, making the “A” in “DRAKE” look like dogshit. Her eyebrows were shaved when she came into the shop, btw. Her head was shaved too.

How did you react when she told you what she wanted done?

The funny thing is, I didn’t know who Drake was, I figured it was her hood or some shit, not some goofnugget R&B dude.

Did she talk about what it meant to her? Had she been planning for it for a long time or was she kind of just like, “put it on my forehead” and that’s it?

Yeah, she was really psyched about it. She had the shitty font all picked out on her iPhone ready to go and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead. She didn’t say a word about what it meant to her, some of the guys at the shop asked her, and she just kinda giggled at them. When I printed up the first image of the lettering, she wanted me to go bigger, so that it went pretty much from each side of her hairline to the other. I thought she shaved her eyebrows for the procedure, so when I put the stencil on the first time, it was right over her (missing) eyebrows, but she had me enlarge it a bit and push it up towards the hairline. But yeah, she acted as if she had planned it out for a while; though I’m not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.

Wow. Do you feel sort of bad about it after the fact?

My whole deal with people wanting completely outrageous and potentially life ruining tattoos is this: I’ll ask them 3 times if they really think that it’s a good idea, I tell them what the potential consequences of getting a tattoo on their face might be, and after that, the bad decision is on them. I believe that people get the tattoos that they deserve. The shop where I worked prior to Will Rise was in the center of the Harbor City Crip neighborhood, so I’m not really a stranger to tattooing gang shit on faces, which is what I originally thought that this was. I guess I feel bad that this dumbass got the name of the softest motherfucker in hip-hop tattooed on her forehead. But what makes that any less valid of a tattoo to her? I lost a little sleep over it that first night, wondering if I wanted to be known as the asshole who tattooed “Drake” on some crackhead’s forehead. None of the face tattoos I had done prior to this got any publicity, so I was a little surprised that this one took off like it did. I’m still kinda debating whether or not I should send you guys the whole set of pictures, I don’t really want to paint the shop in a bad light but it is what it is. In the end, she paid me to do this to her, which really means she did this to herself…

So you see it as your job to give people what they ask for?

There is a way of steering the customer in a direction that would make their whole tattoo idea something that would look better on their skin when the concept they have in their mind sounds good to the but wouldn’t translate well into a tattoo. This usually comes up when they come in asking for something like a tattoo of a rose but with 20 names and dates hidden in the petals or something. When it’s something as simple as lettering, I could have tried to steer her into a prettier font maybe, or a different location (obviously), but she was already set on this “letterman” font, “like the one on the jacket.”

But as far as having a choice, yeah, sure, I could have turned her away, and I’m already getting a ton of flack from other tattooers for this but the way I see it, if she’s got her little heart set on getting her forehead tattooed then she’ll just keep on trying until somebody finally goes through with it. I think that getting a color portrait of the Joker from Batman is a dumb idea, but who the fuck am I to judge? If some cat from MS13 comes in and wants me to “blast” that shit on his chin or forehead or whatever, who am I to judge the validity of them getting what they get and where they get it? If I tattoo a huge “BK” on a Crip or tattoo “DRAKE” on some R&B crazed girl’s face, what’s the difference? Who am I to say which one is wrong and which is right?

Are you surprised at how quickly the photo spread?

Honestly, I didn’t think this thing would get so much exposure. I’m still kinda debating whether or not it’s a great idea to have my name attached to this shit more than it already is. Seeing as that I haven’t really established too much of a name for myself, I don’t particularly want this one tattoo to represent my whole body of work. It’s not something I’d want to write home to mom about, if you know what I mean. I’ve actually done some way crazier facial tattoos recently, but was just really careful not to blast the shit all over the internet. There are so many kids walking up and down Fairfax with ridiculous facial tattoos that I didn’t think too much about it before I did it. Plus, the whole shaved eyebrow thing usually means you just got put on to your neighborhood or whatever, so I figured she was just some crazy shermed-out cholla that was “down for her calle” or whatever.

In my opinion this whole world’s going to shit, and shit rolls downhill, so I might as well just jump in, hold my breath, and pray to G-d that there’s a nice big soft puddle of diarrhea for me to land in once everything hits the fan.

I wonder what was going through her mind when she decided to do it.

Man, I wish I could get you in touch with her, I’m sure the story’s pretty intense. Sadly she didn’t leave a number on her consent form, just her name. But she is supposed to be coming back to finish the tattoo once it heals (she only had enough money for the outline) and I could probably talk to her then. She was on a pretty good one when she came in, and I think by the time I finished, she was coming down, because her attitude changed pretty drastically once the tattoo was finished.

Drake recently sat down with Google Music and spoke on a number of different topics, including the creation process of his new album “Take Care,” his most recent collaborations with Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, his legacy in music and much more.

On working with Rihanna:
“I really wanted to bring her into our world, but still allow her to be herself. I think she really shines bright. She comes from a place that’s so rich in culture, so rich in music, but being the most iconic female period right now—next to Nicki Minaj, of course… [Nicki is] just doing incredible, she’s my favorite person.”

On his legacy:
“I want people to really feel like I knew Drake while he was on this Earth. I know everything about him. There were no secrets, there was nothing that he hid, no feelings that he concealed. In five years, hopefully I have a couple more projects out that surpass Take Care, but I would like for them to say I remember that moment when I wasn’t sure what was gonna happen and Drake delivered an album that served a purpose in my life.”

On making good, quality music:
“I’m not the guy that would ever be able to make surface music with no substance. I think all my projects, hopefully, I’m working through some form of emotion because I think that’s what music is about. It’s about connecting and people being able to relate.”

Despite the fact that Drake‘s Take Care is projected to sell over 700,000 copies, Lil Wayne isn’t stressing over album sales, whether they’re good or bad.

In a recent interview with MTV, the Young Money head honcho says that he doesn’t get caught up in having high expectations for his artists:

“As far as expectations, we don’t have those around here. Expectations are a weakness in the music business because if you expect anything, 10 times out of 10 it’s not gonna happen, so we don’t have expectations around here.”

Instead … Weezy and the rest of his label expects respect overall from the music they release.

“What we do expect is … to work very hard and we expect people to respect our hard work and our effort. Now as far going to buy the album, as far as going to get 750,000 copies, that’s never a problem with us; that’s never important to us. Pardon me for sounding however I sound with this statement, but we rich as sh–, so numbers and record sales that doesn’t matter to none of us.

“Their man goal is to get a point across and once that’s done…..the mission is accomplished. We just want to get a perfect point across, a swell opinion across. We want our opinion to be different from everybody else’s opinion, but so different and so great that everybody else joins that opinion. And if we get that done with the album, mission accomplished.”

We respect Lil Wayne putting more focus on his artists making a quality piece of work versus being solely concerned on selling out shelves. Kudos!

Drake’s sophomore album “Take Care” just dropped last week, so the 2011 American Music Awards in Los Angeles last night (Sun. Nov 20) was the perfect venue to perform his latest single “Headlines.”

“Take Care” is expected to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week. According to early predictions, the album should see sales of around 675K – 727K copies.

Big Sean has responded to Ludacris‘ “Badaboom” diss track, in which the Atlanta rapper goes in on Drake and Big Sean for taking subliminal shots at his lyrics and his use of a particular flow style in various interviews.

In an interview with All Hip Hop this past summer, when Drake was asked about the “Supa Dupa” rhyming style that rappers (and even R&B singers now) use in their lyrics, he used lines from a Ludacris song to illustrate what he considered bad usage of the popular style of flow:

“Well, that flow has been killed by so many rappers. And, I never want to use that flow again in life. [Laughs] To be honest, that flow, you can trace it back to like…I trace it back to Big Sean. That’s the first guy I heard utilize that flow throughout the duration of a verse. I’ll give him that credit. I think Kanye got it from him.

“Me and Wayne found a dope way to do it. I don’t want to sound cocky, but the best way its been used was on ‘Forever.’ Those lines just all individually make so much sense. They’re all punchlines. Then a bunch of rappers started doing it and using the most terrible references in the world. I don’t want to offend somebody…I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] ‘It’s a parade! MACY’S!’”

Big Sean even gave his two cents on the subject in another interview with MTV:

Don’t get it wrong I’m not trying to dis Ludacris or nothing, He’s a great MC. But even though that style got so overused, there was a lot of people who did it great and there was a lot of people who didn’t do it so great. People always ask me was you mad that people took that style from you. I’m like, ‘Nah, that went and shows me how far I can go as an artist.’ I feel like I changed hip-hop. I haven’t even dropped an album yet. So that goes to show me how powerful my mind is.

After listening to the track, Big Sean clarified his statements on Luda’s use of the “Supa Dupa” rhyming flow in an interview with Seattle’s KUBE 93FM, and said that he has no problems with the veteran rapper.

“I ain’t got no problems with Luda, I never did,” he said. “I think he’s referring to an interview I did over a year ago. Literally over a year ago,. But in the interview I said he’s a legend. I respect people who is ahead of me. I respect OG’s and the G’s in general. The only thing I said, [the interviewers] was telling me about the “Supa Dupa’ flow. They call it the ‘Supa Dupa’ flow because on ‘Big Sean’ my second mixtape I had a flow on there where I was using one word to describe another word in a punchline form.”

He continued, “I feel like Drake made it more popular on that song ‘Forever.’ A lot of people thought Drake made this up and it was new and Drake said ‘I can trace that back to Big Sean on his mixtape.’ That’s where I first heard it and I think that’s where a lot of Mcee’s got it from,” that’s what Drake said. So people were saying ‘Yo, this is your flow that you came up with’ and I was like okay.”

“I don’t have any issue with Luda,” Big Sean said. “I didn’t even know he cared that much for a year to be still thinking about what I said in an interview. It’s not like I was like, “Luda is weak.” I think Luda is a legend and one of the best. I’m not going to front.”

When asked if he thought Ludacris released the song as a means to maintain his ow relevancy, Big Sean responded, “Yo, I couldn’t even tell you why another man would do that. I think people just want to see some beef … Luda is Luda. I don’t really know Luda like that so I can’t say anything but I don’t have anything against him. I’m surprised he cared so much. Somebody that’s been in the game that long, I didn’t think that they would be hanging on to what people say so much.”

Sounds like YMCMB has another #1 debut album on their hands!

It was almost a given that Drake‘s sophomore album “Take Care” would debut in the #1 spot on the Billboard charts next week … but what’s surprising is the fact that Hits Daily Double is predicting that the album will sell around 675,000 – 725,000 copies in its first week. (That’s over 200,000 more than what his debut album “Thank Me Later” did in its first week!)

“Take Care,” originally set for an October 24th release date (Drake’s birthday), but was pushed back to November 15th due to logistical issues, leaked last week. And when a major album leaks, many fear that it will affect album sales.

However, in Drizzy’s case, it may have affected his album sales, but not by too much. “Listen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it…and take care until next time,” the rapper tweeted after finding out about the leak.

If HDD’s predictions are correct, “Take Care” will have the third-best debut sales for an album released this year, following Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and his Young Money boss Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV,” the latter of which sold a little bit over a million in its first week.

Drake is denying recent claims that Chris Brown elbowed him in the face during an altercation.

Last week, DJ Whoo Kid told UK radio personality Tim Westwood about the alleged incident where Drizzy is said to have gotten an elbow to the face from Breezy, and speculated that the fight could have been over Drake’s involvement with Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

But in a new interview with The Daily Beast, the Canadian rapper shot down those claims, and said that the incident never happen.

“I respect Chris Brown,” he said. “I’d like to call myself a friend – I don’t know if I’m allowed to do that, but I definitely didn’t get elbowed in my face. Somebody would’ve got knocked the f**k out.”

Yeah right Drake … You ain’t even to close to being bout that life!

Drake, who is gearing up for the release of his sophomore album “Take Care,” recently sat down for an interview with GQ Magazine, where the rapper dished on a range of topics, including working with Andre 3000, his ideal girl, still getting rejected by women and more. GQ even gets Drizzy to open up about his sweater collection and give his take on the whole “Lil Wayne vs. Jay-Z” beef (Guess whose side he’s on!).

He also wishes people would stop calling him overly emotional. “People always act like I spend my life crying in a dark room. I don’t, I’m good. I’m a man. I want to be remembered as an artist that gave you a piece of me, as opposed to some surface bullshit,” he explained.

GQ: You announced the title of this album, Take Care, with us back in December. What does it mean?
Drake: No one has actually asked me that yet. I came up with the name when I was on a bus in Birmingham, England, going to a show. “Take Care” is this thing we use in passing conversation to dismiss bullshit like, “Oh, you couldn’t make it on time? Oh, take care, take care.” We’ve always used that and then I really took so much care making this album. I knew I was going to go home and take longer than six months, I knew that I was literally going to take care of making this project and be attentive, be clear, be immersed in it. “Take Care” worked.

GQ: Some of the features on this album are crazy. Wayne, Nicki, Rihanna, some unknown guy named Andre 3000…
Drake: He murdered that shit! He killed it and 40 switched the beat, it’s nasty. I didn’t get to see him record, but speaking with him was great and we even spoke about projects beyond “The Real Her.”

GQ: Who’s the ideal girl for Drake?
Drake: Who’s the ideal girl? She is very funny, very supportive, understands that right now I’m trying to build with somebody. The ideal girl is driven, working on something other than modeling or being a singer…

GQ: Or being seen.
Drake: Or being seen! She’s probably in New York to be honest with you. There are a lot of good women in New York.

GQ: Everyone with vocal cords uploaded their own version of your “Marvins Room” to YouTube. Whose version was your favorite?
Drake: I mean everybody says JoJo’s but you know I don’t really have a favorite. Actually, my version is my favorite and I never say stuff like that. But really though, my version is my favorite because there is such a story behind it.

GQ: Let’s get into the story. “The woman that I would try, is happy with a good guy.” Who’s the girl you’re talking about?
Drake: It’s not about one particular female. It’s just an emotion that I’ve experienced. I’ve texted girls late at night saying, “I miss you,” and she’ll be like, “I’m out on a date.” She is happy, somewhere else.

GQ: Wait, you’re one of the top artists in the world right now. That still happens to you, in 2011?
Drake: Yeah, definitely.

GQ: What type of wildly successful girls are you dating to where they’d dis you? Oprah?
Drake: [laughs] I wish I dated Oprah. No, they’re mostly girls from Toronto that know the real me and don’t give a fuck about who “Drake” is or what he’s accomplished. And then there are a lot of girls who get a kick out of doing that to me because of who I am. A lot of girls want to purposefully drive a point home.

GQ: I think Thank Me Later was the best album on the shelves when it came out, but you felt like you could have made a better album.
Drake: I’m in agreeance with that, definitely that combined with the videos for “Miss Me” and “Fancy.”I just watched the videos and was like, “What the fuck are these videos about?” That’s why “Fancy” never came out. It was a weird moment.

GQ: On to something a little lighter. We’re GQ, so we have to ask: What’s up with the sweaters?
Drake: [laughs] Now, this I have been asked about several times.

GQ: Do you have a favorite?
Drake: Yes, I do. It’s a toss-up between three sweaters. I’d say one would be obviously the OVO Owl Sweater. I can wear it repetitively and no one calls me out on it. I have a cashmere Hermes sweater that I love. Lastly, any of my Missoni sweaters. I don’t give a fuck what anybody says about my Missoni sweaters! Fuck you, if you don’t like my sweater! [Editor's note: A middle-aged couple sitting next to us sharply turn their heads.] It’s funny because people only talk about me and sweaters because I don’t give them anything else to talk about. I live in Canada, so any dirt I do you’ll never see because we don’t have the paparazzi up there! It’s the stupidest thing, man, but I’ll embrace it. Hopefully Missoni hollers at me and we get a sweater line popping!

GQ: When Lil Wayne and Jay-Z made passing references to each other earlier this year, did you feel like you were in a compromising situation? We know you really look up to Jay and you really look up to Wayne.
Drake: I’m just riding with Wayne, always. I’ll never sit here and say that Wayne compromised me. I’m just doing what I got do. I’m a Cash Money soldier. That’s who I ride for.

GQ: Do you think it was blown out of proportion?
Drake: I mean, not really. I think it was pretty clear-cut. I think anybody denying anything at this point is silly. And I’ve said that before for either of them to say, “Oh, no man, I didn’t mean it,” it’s like, “Yes you did, man”. But it’s all good, it’s what rap is about. It’s a competitive business.

GQ: You appeared on Wayne’s ” It’s Good,” which made reference to Jay. Would you have gotten on “H.A.M.” with Jay-Z, where he made the initial reference?
Drake: If I had heard it? No. Because Wayne’s done way more for my career than Jay-Z. Wayne is the reason I’m here. Jay-Z did that for Cole, that’s his artist. Cole’s my brother, he’s an artist I respect so much but I know he’d say the same thing. We’ve got bosses. We’re just falling in line, doing what we got to do.

GQ: People talk a lot of shit, anything you wish they’d stop saying?
Drake: That’s tough. I wish that we lived in a time and a generation where people would stop viewing my honesty as overly emotional. People always act like I spend my life crying in a dark room. I don’t, I’m good. I’m a man. I want to be remembered as an artist that gave you a piece of me, as opposed to some surface bullshit. I don’t think people realize that we die, we leave here, and either they forget about you or remember you. And how they remember you is up to you. I just want to be remembered as a poet that was open and honest because I wake up every morning and I’m me.

Drake and Lil Wayne have decided to give their collaboration album the axe …. at least for now.

Due to them catching a lot of flack from people who compare the project to Kanye West and Jay-Z‘s joint album “Watch The Throne,” the YMCMB rappers plan on postponing their album to a later date and time.

Drake told XXL:

“Me and Wayne scrapped the idea of a collaboration album. We just agreed that it would be looked upon as…It would be sort of this competition [with Watch The Throne]. I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time.’”

WOW! We thought they liked the idea of battling with Ye and Jigga, especially with Drake taking subliminal shots in songs like “I’m On One.”

Is it just us or does Weezy and Drizzy seem a little afraid of the competition???

I’m really scared for my generation, you know. The thing that scares me the most is Tumblr. I hate what Tumblr has become. Because it like, it reminds me of those cliquey girls in high school that used to make fun of everyone else and define what was cool, but in five years, when you all graduate, that sh*t doesn’t matter. No one gives a f**k about that sh*t. Instead of kids going out and making their own moments, they’re just taking these images and living vicariously through other people’s moments. It just kills me. Then you’ll meet them and they’re just the biggest turkey in the world. They don’t actually embody any of those things. They just emulate. It’s scary man, simulation life that we’re living. It scares me.

On Twitter:

I’ll tell you, my biggest thing was, I remember, it was on twitter. I remember the day my mom was getting surgery and someone came on Twitter and they were like, ‘Yo, Drake, I hope your mom dies.’ You don’t really mean that.

…Like, you know you’re going to see something bad. Out of 1000 compliments, it’s so crazy. It’s basically, like, when you used to sit there as a kid, and want to know what everyone is thinking. That’s your superpower. [Twitter is] knowing what everyone is thinking.”

We really feel Drake on this … but when you’re making millions of dollars and being endorsed by one of the biggest rappers in the game, you’re going to have plenty of haters. It comes with the territory! Just do you, count your money, and let the haters hate.

Drake‘s sophomore album “Take Care” prematurely leaked last night, which is not in the least bit surprising.

And one of the most anticipated tracks titled “Take Care” featuring Rihanna was included in that spill.

Atlanta rapper Future isn’t too pleased about Drake not making an appearance in his “Tony Montana” music video.

In an interview with The Source……Future says he appreciates Drizzy being on the song, but leaving him hanging on the visuals was like a smack in the face. (Ouch!)

Dressed in all black with gold chains in his mouth, Drake shows up on the cover of The Source Magazine’s 14th annual “Power 30″ issue, just in time for the release of his sophomore album “Take Care.”

In The Source’s November 2011 issue, Drizzy talks about how Kanye West was a major music influence for him back in the day:

“When I was a kid trying to figure out what I liked, it was [Kanye] who I related to the most. He was an artist, in every sense, from his cover art to his music. Now, I would say he was a really great competitor…”

The issue hits newsstands on November 15th, the same day Drake’s “Take Care” album hits stores!

During a recent interview with Philly’s Hot 107.9, Catya Washington (aka Ms. Cat) from “Bad Girls Club” spilled the beans on her relationship with Drizzy, his sex game, and why they eventually broke things off.

On how she met Drake

We met on the set of “Best I Ever Had.” It was real cool! We sat on the bleachers on set directed by Kanye [West]. Having fun, tweeted each other back and forth–real cool. Never thought it would go anywhere just cool, kicking it. The next thing you know I’m in Toronto and we’re having dinner.

He flew me out to Toronto and we started kicking it and liking each other. One flight turned into ten then the next thing you know I got a toothbrush in there and it’s on.

How long did it take for you to get from just dating to a relationship?

Like a month. It was like 0 to 60.

You moved to Toronto?

Yeah, I was actually there and packed up and was like “I’m out….I’m in love.”

Did you meet his mom?

Yeah, she’s a very nice lady.

Did she know you like, “Oh, what’s your name again?” or she KNEW you?

Well, at first it was like that but then it was like, “Oh this hoe is still around, huh? Oh, she’s still here.” After a while it was like, “Hey, Mom!” I’m from Philly and I’m in Toronto now…that’s my boo.

How long did it take you to go from condom to no condom?

That’s assuming there was ever one involved.

On if she was in love with Drake

Of course, it was an awesome relationship. I was in love, he was in love and by the way in the song he said he was in love, so don’t try to switch it up now. I never mentioned you, you mentioned me. It was good. I’m talking family dinners and we in Whole Foods pushing the cart around. It was a regular relationship. I was in love and he was in love but at the end of the day he started getting a little bit too loose. Meaning he pops up in the tabloids with Maliah, trips to Jamaica that I wasn’t invited to or never heard about. I’m from Philly and we don’t go for that.

It’s a problem [when] you had the kind of relationship we had. That was my dude; it wasn’t somebody I was just kicking it with. If you were just kicking it, you can do what you wanna do but I was yours and you were mine.

On if he gave her gifts

He’s a very kind-hearted individual. We traveled a lot and we shopped so of course the price tag got a little expensive. A Car, bills paid..but we were together so it wasn’t like he was tricking.

On if he’s well endowed

He is a phenomenal “peach eater” and he is black and Jewish and the black side is Mandingo.

On why they broke up

Well, we broke up because I wanted to do the Bad Girls Club and that was a whole big issue too. I was like, “I have my own career and I need to move forward to and he was kind of like “I really don’t want you to go on there and embarrass me.” I was like, “Well, you know my career is my career. You know you’re Drake and you’re cool but I need to be cool too. I can’t sit around and try to get pregnant by you and be a baby mama. I need to make a career for myself.”

Drake celebrated his 25th birthday at TAO nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Decked out in a blue Versace shirt, a gold chain and peach-colored shades, the YMCMB rapper told excited party goers:

“I’m here for ya’ll tonight. If you want to drink, if you want to dance, if you want to party—ladies, if you want to f**k, I’m ’bout whatever. I turned 25 and I just want to thank each and every one of you for coming out tonight. I appreciate it. Let’s have some fun.”

He also showed his appreciation to party goers by purchasing 200 shots for the crowd. “I’m celebrating my birthday and want you all to celebrate with me. Go to the bar and get your shot on me,” he said.

Drizzy was also sent 20 bottles of champagne. “I don’t know how I am going to drink all this. Guess I will have to share it,” he said before passing out bottles of champagne to the folks on the dance floor.

The birthday boy had a surprise visit from Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman and Young Money Entertainment president Mack Maine. He was also presented with a birthday cake made in the shape of a varsity jacket.

Despite all the rumors floating around, Drake says couldn’t be any happier at Young Money.

The “I’m So Proud Of You” rapper recently revealed in an interview with MTV that he has no plans on leaving his label:

“I never really know where those rumors stem from. I’m really happy at Young Money; I really don’t want to go anywhere. Me and Wayne have a great relationship.”

Drizzy also talked about how he is content with being one of Wayne’s soldiers because he put him in the position he is in today:

“At the end of the day, that’s my boss. I’m his soldier. I’m cool with that. I’m good with that. That’s the role I want to play. He put me here.”

He also explained why he chose Kendrick Lamar and A$AP to go on tour with him instead of members from his Young Money family:

“I spent a lot of time out there [in Toronto]; that’s what this album is about. That’s what I’m gonna showcase. It’s the same thing with the tour: I wanna bring Kendrick, I wanna bring A$AP. Those are guys that I love.”

“It has nothing to do with people on my label. Tyga’s out, Nicki’s working on an album, and everybody else is doing their thing on the road with Wayne or with Wayne in the studio, so I just sort of showcased the music that I happen to love right now, and those are the two guys that I’m bringing out.”

Lil Wayne labels Drake a martian kid!

While on the set for Birdman’s “Y.U. Mad” music video, the Young Money head honcho revealed that he has heard a few songs off his protege’s upcoming sophomore album.

“I actually haven’t got a chance to listen to all of it, but I heard a few songs.”

And so far … Weezy is very impressed and even admits that his own new material isn’t touching Drizzy’s.

“I can tell, you know, I don’t know nothing else out there that can touch it, including my stuff. That kid is on another planet.”

It’s like that Wayne???

Hopefully we all will feel the same way when “Take Care” drops November 15th!

In an effort to promote his next album, rapper Drake made his big “Saturday Night Live” debut over the weekend and not only performed, but also flexed his acting chops in a couple of skits where he rapped about stealing kids’ candy on Halloween on Weekend Update, and sat down for an extremely awkward interview with cast member Andy Samberg in an SNL digital short.

“I was begging everybody like, ‘Please let me get a skit. Please let me be involved in something.’ So I believe last word I got was that I’ll be working on something or doing something with the show other than performing,” Drake told MTV News before he appeared on SNL.

“I’m eager to act. I’m eager to make people laugh or, you know, accept a dramatic role. I’m just excited to get back into that. I miss it,” he shared, adding that the SNL cast and the atmosphere has him wanting to act again.

In a recent interview with Elle Magazine, the Young Money emcee spoke on getting hurt by the 23 year-old pop star, his Twitter marriage to Nicki Minaj, and on whether-or-not he has had a three-some.

On getting hurt by Rihanna:
“At the time it hurt, but she didn’t mean to. I’ll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realize what it was. I guess I thought it was more. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind. You spend days reading about this person in magazines. All of a sudden you have this number-one song and you’re at some birthday party and there she is. And you’re just some naive kid from Toronto staying in some shitty-ass hotel who got invited to this party on a whim. That’s just how it happened.”

On being lonely:
When you’re on the road and moving city to city, when someone isn’t there at the end of the night, you feel empty. The 15 or 20 seconds after a man reaches his climax is the realest moment he’ll ever have in his life. And if you happen to be with somebody that isn’t someone you want to converse with, you start feeling like, I wish I was just here watching True Blood by myself.”

On his fake Twitter marriage to Nicki Minaj:
I don’t know if we were really pretending. I’d marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me.

On bringing girls home to mom:
The most intense thing I’ve ever done was bring a girl to Passover dinner. [My mom] just wants me to be happy, but I’m sure she’d love it if I married a Jewish girl.

On receiving naked pictures:
If you send them without me asking, it’s like, You’ve done this before. But I’m away a lot. If there’s a woman I’m into, I might want to get a picture from her to handle business myself, as opposed to doing something I might regret.

On if he’s had a threesome:
I’ve never had one. I swear. I’m a one-woman kind of guy.

If only more guys opened up like this…….the world would be a much more emotional place.

Just like every other Young Money release, Drake‘s upcoming sophomore album “Take Care” has been pushed back.

The “Headlines” rapper took to his OVO blog to inform fans about the delay:

The new date for Take Care is November 15th, 2011. I managed to create this album in my hometown of Toronto and the thoughts and stories I wanted to get across just became so clear. It truly felt like when I was here 3 years ago making So Far Gone. So I have completed 19 songs (17 on physical and 2 on bonus), and have run into a roadblock of clearing 3 samples in time to make the October 24th date. My options were to take the songs off and make the birthday release happen, or to take an extra couple weeks to get the paper work right and give you the album they way I NEED you to hear it. The choice was clear as day for me. November 15th you will get Take Care the exact way I created it with no trimmings. This music means too much to me to get attached to dates and I do apologize for the delay but I promise that it is only for the benefit of our experience together. Club Paradise Tour will also be moved to when students are back from the Christmas/New Year break so that I can get to more schools. New dates will be released in the next week…see you all soon.
