Despite with a new number, Iverson&#8217;s first game with Detroit counted as a loss. The <strong class="rand3">New Jersey Nets</strong> took the game by 7 <em class="rand">(103-96)</em>. Iverson first accumulated stats on the Pistons were 24 points and 6 assists. Iverson stated:</p>
<blockquote><p><span class="printOff">&#8220;It was a good feeling for me,&#8221; Iverson said. &#8220;I haven&#8217;t been able to play for a while so it was good to get back on the basketball court. I&#8217;ll try to get a little bit of my rust off.&#8221;</span></p></blockquote>
<p>It turned out to be a career-high game of 38 points for opposing for Nets&#8217; guard <strong>Devin Harris</strong>.</p>

The <strong class="rand3">Boston Celtics</strong> let the Pistons beat them at home and it&#8217;s going to be a hard few games on the road since the Celtics don&#8217;t do too well on road games. Home games is their ticket to the finals and they lost the first home game. The series are now tied <em class="rand">(1-1)</em>. The Pistons won by 6 in Game 2 <em class="rand">(103-97)</em>. <strong class="rand3">Richard Hamilton</strong> scored 25 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. <strong class="rand3">Rasheed Wallace</strong> totaled 13 points and 10 rebounds. <strong class="rand3">Chauncey Billups</strong> put up 19 points and 7 assists. Hamilton responded at the end of Game 2 about how excited he is about the win and returning to their home court in Game 3:</p>

Gaining lead way <em class="rand">(2-1)</em> the Sixers bust the Pistons by a 20-point victory <em class="rand">(95-75)</em>. <strong class="rand3">Andre Miller</strong> scored <strong>21 points</strong>, <strong class="rand3">Samuel Dalembert</strong> racked <strong>22 points and 16 rebounds</strong> for Philadelphia. <strong class="rand3">Richard Hamilton</strong> scored <strong>23 points</strong> and <strong class="rand3">TayShaun Prince</strong> had <strong>18 points</strong>. Without these two, Detroit would&#8217;ve had a 30-point blowout loss. Look for the game breaker Sunday night.</p>
