Four out of the five ladies of Danity Kane returned to the stage once again for the finale of Season 3 of MTV’s Making The Band 4. The finale was filmed live at The Hudson Theatre up in NYC and featured appearances from Diddy, Day 26 (who also performed), Donnie Klang and of course D. Woods, Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex of DK.

Sway from MTV got the ladies to open up a bit about their current “situation,” and when he got to a question about them making up and geting back together D. Woods acted like she wanted to avoid the question, all the while promoting her album and talking about everyone at a place where they wanted to “move on.” Shannon was open to the idea and so was Dawn and Aubrey. But what about Aundrea? Why isn’t she in any of the pics? Well, it turns out … she decided not to attend the taping because she’s still hurt about what happened and just wants to move on from the situation ASAP.

Out of the three ladies left in Danity Kane, only two (the two furthest to the right of the pic above) showed up to an important meeting, according to Dawn Richard. Rumors had been circulating the ‘net for weeks talking about how Shannon had left the group, but now since Dawn has brought everything to light, those rumors are obviously true. In an interview with MTV, Dawn talked about how she feels about the group’s break-up and even mentioned that Diddy is “devasted” about the whole situation.

On Danity Kane’s split:
“I’m shocked,” she said of Danity Kane’s dissolution, which has saddened and angered fans. “You can tell by my answers — I really don’t have them. It’s devastating to talk about this over and over again. It is crazy! It doesn’t even make sense. I still can’t understand it.”

On Diddy’s push for the best:
“Puff only hangs with people who break their necks,” she said. “I don’t think he’s even on that tip yet [regarding a solo career]. He just wants to see how great I can be at what he tells me to be great at, and that’s what a businessman does. He wants his employees to be the best.It makes you great ’cause it challenges you,” she added. “I want to learn. I want to be where he is mentally because if you can be there, you have mastered this interest. And that’s brilliant. I want to be here. I’m trying to stay here. I thought everybody was on that plan.”

On Diddy’s devastation:
“I think he’s devastated. I think he thought people would get over it ’cause he’s a man,” Richard said. “He’s just confused. I think that’s what makes him crazy the most. He’s like, ‘I’m the master of all of this, and they totally pulled the wool.’ I think he’s bitter and angry.”

All of this happened so fast! How can so many people f**k up a successful girl group (the ONLY successful girl group since Destiny’s Child went solo) in such a short amount of time?

Beyonce and Jay-Z together, without a doubt, is the definition of “black love.” For our generation at least! They’ve been together for over 5 years, and have close to $170 million in the bank (combined), making them Hollywood’s richest couple! Much of their relationship is kept private, but their lives as celebrities, coupled with their fame and huge success as artists and entrepreneurs, makes it hard not to want to know more about them! We put them at the top of our list this time last year, but the only difference between then and now is that they are married. The two decided to tie the knot in a “private” ceremony in April 2008. And if you were around and living on planet earth, you definitely heard about it! After People.com announced that the two had taken out a marriage license in New York, the events that happened the weekend of April 4th 2008 were inevitable. After several black SUVs with heavily tinted windows were seen entering Jay-Z’s Manhattan apartment, in addition to the dozens of vans bringing in wedding decorations, we all knew what was going on.

Every paparazzo in the world set up shop outside of the apartment and snapped photos of Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s sister), Tina & Mathew Knowles (Beyonce’s parents), Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, Irv Gotti, and more entering the apartment building’s ground-level garage. The list went on and on, but after seeing all of these people entering one place, we knew Beyonce and Jay-Z were DEFINITELY getting married. People.com actually confirmed it the next morning, and shortly after, we spotted the two wearing their wedding bands. These two getting married was definitely the talk of the blogosphere for the months to follow. And even though “Jayonce” never really confirmed their wedding, in several interviews that followed (Oprah, The Tyra Banks show, Essence Magazine, etc.) they were referred to as husband and wife, and neither contested it. But these two are the same people who never confirmed their initial relationship, so we’re definitely used to it!

ATLANTA // WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH 2008 » T.I. was spotted voting yesterday in Atlanta. If you are looking at this picture like I was and wondering how was T.I. able to vote after committing a felony, here is a little info for you courtesy of MTV.

How was T.I. able to vote? Well, the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, in consultation with their own lawyers “reviewed the law and found that Mr. Harris is eligible to in Georgia because the state constitution says that to be able to vote, you have to have served your entire sentence, which includes all probation and fines and any other stipulations,” said Matt Carrothers, the Secretary of State’s director of media relations.

Because T.I. is not slated to go to prison until next year on felony gun charges and is not currently incarcerated — though he is under house arrest — and is not on probation, all he had to do was contact the county he votes in and get re-registered in order to cast a ballot.

According to Dawn, Aubrey O’Day was kicked out of the group for wanting to go naked. And in the above photo, you see all of the original Danity Kane members posing naked behind a big sign that reads: “We’d rather go naked than wear fur!” for a PETA campaign. Careful ladies, you wouldn’t want Diddy to nix you from the group just because you’d rather go naked than wear fur!

Danity Kane is now a threesome [get your mind out of the gutter!]. Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods were kicked out of the Bad Boy family (as Diddy so eloquently calls it) on Tuesday night’s season finale of the third season of MTV’s “Making the Band 4.” A lot of people are speculating the reason behind the ladies’ dismissal, so Dawn Richard sat down with US Magazine exclusively and dished the dirt:

“Puff did not like [O'Day's] image … where her image was going for the group. It wasn’t a personal thing. We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls,” Richard says. “So we can’t do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover. [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can’t do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going.”

If you caught the show Tuesday, regarding Aubrey O’Days departure, you would’ve heard Diddy say something like: “I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her…” But what about D. Woods? Why was she let go? According to Mr. Sean John, “she got caught up in the wrath” of Aubrey O’Day.

As far as we know, Danity Kane will move forward without D. Woods and O’Day, but somehow I feel like season 4 of Making the Band 4 will be all about finding two replacements. You know how Diddy is!

There was an era when R&B wasn’t hot. … The whole hip-hop/R&B era just kinda threw me for a loop. Around early 2000 when every song kinda sounded like (one note repeated). Like for real, one note the whole song? That never made sense to me. ‘Cause like, if you’re gonna rap — rap. If you’re gonna sing — sing. Don’t try to do this combination hybrid of the two of them that sounds like (garbage). I didn’t dig it. I just never got into it

…Everybody was very much hip-hop/R&B. Everybody was very much Ciara- and Sean Garretted-out. No disrespect to Sean Garrett (writer of Ciara’s debut single “Goodies”), but I think he kind of fathered that era.

A premiere party for MTV’s Making the Band 4 (Season 3) went down last night in New York City. Let me start this off by saying that I apologize for predominately including photos of Boom Kat in the first part of the post. But her pictures were way past hilarious! Homegirl looked like she was too excited to be out of the house for a change. Jumping in folks’ pics, grabbing ‘em, standing up on couches and posing for pics, everything! Bow Wow & Danity Kane both premiered thier new videos for the recording of FNMTV yesterday. Bow Wow premiered his latest single, “Marco Polo” featuring Soulja Boy, which will be on his new upcoming album Pedigree. Danity Kane finally released another single, “Bad Girl” featuring Missy Elliott, and the premiered their video for thier single. DK’s album Welcome To The Dollhouse (Bad Boy/Atlantic) is now in stores! P!nk is someone we haven’t seen in awhile! She was there as a guest co-host commentator. P!nk also has a new album to be released sometime this year. She actually has a video that’ll be premiering on FNMTV next friday (August 1st) for her single “So What”. The ladies of Danity Kane celebrated the release of their sophomore album Welcome to the Dollhouse with a second album release party, held at The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio in Vegas. And if you’ve been keeping up with headlines surrounding this record-breaking female group, then you’d know that they have many reasons to celebrate! One big one being that the album mentioned above debuted at #1 last week on the Billboard 200, with 236,000 albums sold! The album’s predecessor, 2006’s DK, sold 234,000 copies (2,000 less) also debuted on the Billboard 200 at #1.

Diddy’s Angel’s have returned to bring us another hawt-ass album, Welcome To The Dollhouse (Bad Boy/Atlantic), in stores March 18th 2008! Productions for this album will include, A to Z, Bryan Michael-Cox, Danja (and the Clutch), Runners – everybody! And appearances from Day26, Diddy, Missy Elliott and Rick Ross!

Welcome To The Dollhouse, in my opinion, is like a musical platter full of influences from 80’s/90’s pop and R&B to hip-hop and modern day dance tunes that fit into today’s genre. My favourite songs off the album are Bad Girl, Secret Place, Lights Out and Is Anybody Listening.

Danity Kane, the guys from MTB4, and Donnie … all in one house … making 3 different albums. This should be interesting. I have a feeling all of the good moments that are worth my viewing pleasure were captured in the trailer though. And they look hella hyped up. Anyone remember the chair fight? The trailer hyped that shit up to the extreme … and on the actual show, I was like “wtf? where’s the rest?” Anyway, I don’t know what it is … but something inside of me is actually anticipating the premiere. Don’t sit there and act like you’re not excited, because if you’re not … you’re lying to yourself!

This money-hungry Negro! Diddy announces there is going to be another Making the Band season, only this time it will feature all the winners of the last two seasons, seasons 3 and 4. They all will compete head-to-head with eachother under one roof in Miami to see who is going to release their album first (Danity Kane, Donnie, or the boys). The 5th installment is set to air Monday, January 28th 2008 at 10/9c I ain’t even going to lie, I’ll probably be watching it myself. And you know I’m going to keep my camera and Harassment Kit handy in case I happen to spot them shooting down here.

New music from Danity Kane: “2 of You”. The song is rumored to appear on the movie’s soundtrack to Step Up 2 the Streets in theaters February 14, 2008, no official sources have confirmed this to be true at this time. But what you can look forward to on the soundtrack is a new song from Cassie entitled “Is it You?,” “Get Low,” featuring T-Pain, from Flo Rida and “Church” from T-Pain’s late-album Epiphany (Atlantic). Platinum recording artist D.WOODS of pop/R&B act DANITY KANE and Bad Boy/Atlantic label mate GORILLA ZOE teamed up to bring you the hottest rap/R&B collab of the winter with “You Don’t Know Me” off his recent debut album “Welcome to the Zoo.” Zoe has hit big on radio with his chart-topping single “Hood Figga” while D.WOODS has been in the studio writing and recording songs for the highly anticipated second album from DANITY KANE of MTV’s hit show Making the Band 3 to follow their #1 Billboard charted and certified platinum debut album last fall. Co-written by D.WOODS, “You Don’t Know Me” is her first major album collab since the success of Danity Kane, though she is no stranger to songwriting and grinding in the studio to come up with hot hooks and verses. Based in Atlanta, GA in the middle of the vibrant urban music scene D.WOODS has been working her way up as a recording artist and songwriter since her years at Atlanta’s famed Tri-Cities Magnet High School for the Visual and Performing Arts. It was there that she and Alonzo Mathis aka GORILLA ZOE first met. Who would have known that only a few years down the road they would be labelmates on Diddy’s Bad Boy/Atlantic imprint.

Most recently D.WOODS has been with Danity Kane in New York and Miami shooting the next season of MTV’s Making the Band set to premiere January 28th, 2008 at 10pm and in the studio recording the Danity Kane album with mega-hit producers Scott Storch, The Runners, and Bryan Michael Cox. In addition D.WOODS has been working with Lloyd (The inc/Universal) on songs for his next album and the upcoming debut album of her sister, Shanell aka SNL, for her debut album on Ne-Yo’s Compound Entertainment label.

D.WOODS continues to make her mark as a musical force and is currently one of entertainment’s quickly rising young pop/urban stars. With several television and film projects and her upcoming fitness video “Crunk Abs!” in the pipeline, as well as a second album with Danity Kane to be released in spring 2008, D.WOODS is certainly one young entertainer to watch!

Damn these rappers are getting old! Lol, anyhow, Fabolous and some of his celebrity friends hit up AZZA Restaurant and Lounge in NYC last night to celebrate his 30th birthday. Angie Martinez, Cassidy, and Danity Kane were a few of the celebrities on the guest list. And speaking of Danity Kane … am I the only one who feels sorry for them? Everytime I see them out somewhere and just sit and think, “Damn, Diddy did these girls so wrong!” And where the hell is “Making the Band 4?” Do they even have a friggin name yet??? Oh wait, this is supposed to be about Fabolous’ birthday … my bad!

It’s a shame that a group with so much potential would have to subject themselves to “gracing the cover” of a damn car magazine. It just hurts my heart to see Danity Kane pushed to the side like this .. they could be so huge right now, it’s not even funny!
