Seeing as Cassie used MySpace to jumpstart her career as a music artist, it’s only right that she uses it as an outlet to dispell any rumors going on about her. Recently, a rumor started circulating the blogosphere claiming that Cassie was scrapping her second album, after already releasing a single. Well, according to the “singer” … you can just scrap that idea itself, because it’s not true. She released a blog within 24 hours saying the following:

A friend of mine forwarded me a link toa site with a made up quote about me joining Danity Kane. I want to make it clear to everyone that I am not joining Danity Kane! My second solo album is coming out in the Spring of ‘09 and I’m very excited about that. I don’t know where the fake message came from, but I know for a fact that it didn’t come from me. Anyway, I can’t wait to share more details about MY next solo project with you. Thanks guys, talk soon!

ATLANTA // WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH 2008 » T.I. was spotted voting yesterday in Atlanta. If you are looking at this picture like I was and wondering how was T.I. able to vote after committing a felony, here is a little info for you courtesy of MTV.

How was T.I. able to vote? Well, the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, in consultation with their own lawyers “reviewed the law and found that Mr. Harris is eligible to in Georgia because the state constitution says that to be able to vote, you have to have served your entire sentence, which includes all probation and fines and any other stipulations,” said Matt Carrothers, the Secretary of State’s director of media relations.

Because T.I. is not slated to go to prison until next year on felony gun charges and is not currently incarcerated — though he is under house arrest — and is not on probation, all he had to do was contact the county he votes in and get re-registered in order to cast a ballot.

According to Dawn, Aubrey O’Day was kicked out of the group for wanting to go naked. And in the above photo, you see all of the original Danity Kane members posing naked behind a big sign that reads: “We’d rather go naked than wear fur!” for a PETA campaign. Careful ladies, you wouldn’t want Diddy to nix you from the group just because you’d rather go naked than wear fur!

Danity Kane is now a threesome [get your mind out of the gutter!]. Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods were kicked out of the Bad Boy family (as Diddy so eloquently calls it) on Tuesday night’s season finale of the third season of MTV’s “Making the Band 4.” A lot of people are speculating the reason behind the ladies’ dismissal, so Dawn Richard sat down with US Magazine exclusively and dished the dirt:

“Puff did not like [O'Day's] image … where her image was going for the group. It wasn’t a personal thing. We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls,” Richard says. “So we can’t do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover. [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can’t do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going.”

If you caught the show Tuesday, regarding Aubrey O’Days departure, you would’ve heard Diddy say something like: “I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her…” But what about D. Woods? Why was she let go? According to Mr. Sean John, “she got caught up in the wrath” of Aubrey O’Day.

As far as we know, Danity Kane will move forward without D. Woods and O’Day, but somehow I feel like season 4 of Making the Band 4 will be all about finding two replacements. You know how Diddy is!

There was an era when R&B wasn’t hot. … The whole hip-hop/R&B era just kinda threw me for a loop. Around early 2000 when every song kinda sounded like (one note repeated). Like for real, one note the whole song? That never made sense to me. ‘Cause like, if you’re gonna rap — rap. If you’re gonna sing — sing. Don’t try to do this combination hybrid of the two of them that sounds like (garbage). I didn’t dig it. I just never got into it

…Everybody was very much hip-hop/R&B. Everybody was very much Ciara- and Sean Garretted-out. No disrespect to Sean Garrett (writer of Ciara’s debut single “Goodies”), but I think he kind of fathered that era.
