COMMON & T-PAIN GIVE EACH OTHER DAP ON THE RED CARPET AT THE 2008 BET HIP-HOP AWARDS

AIRDATE: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23RD 2008 ON BET @ 8 PM EST. The 2008 BET HIp-Hop Awards went down in Atlanta over the weekend, and here you can check out the photos from the red carpet. If you haven’t heard yet, Katt Williams was nixed from his hosting duties, and T-Pain filled in for the comedian at the last minute. BET made up some bogus story talking about how Katt bet T-Pain he couldn’t beat him in a break dance battle, and how Katt’s hosting duties were up for grabs to whoever won. It later came to light that Williams had been arrested on the morning of the show. Sound familiar, anyone? *Cough* T.I. *cough* got arrested *cough* last year *cough* and he was *cough* supposed to perform. I’m just saying…

Ciara is posing in the latest issue of Men’s Health Magazine and is not only showing off her killer body, she’s also listings some of her role models which are male athletes. In the article in the November 2008 issues Ciara talks a little bit about specific people who influence her:

“I take my motivation from athletes—basketball players in particular,” she says. “I love LeBron James because he’s my age and full of ambition and drive. I love Michael Jordan. You can tell he chose to work hard to set himself outside the pack. There was so much pressure, but he pulled through every time. That energy motivates me.”

Here’s the GOT video premiere of Ciara’s new music video, “Go Girl” featuring T-Pain. Despite all of the drama surrounding the Atlanta native at this current point and time, she still is on her A-game when it comes to giving the people want they want: pure entertainment! And is it just me, or did she make a reference to the crazy Marta chick at the end?

Ciara was recently spotted on the set of her music video for her first single, “Go Girl” featuring T-Pain, from her third upcoming album Fantasy Ride. BET’s Access Granted will be premiering the video on October 7th @ 7:30PM/ET so don’t miss it!  Is it me or do these shots resemble Janet Jackson’s “Feedback” music video? ATLANTA, GEORGIA // SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH 2008 » Ciara has taken over Six Flags in her hometown to celebrate her third upcoming album Fantasy Ride (LaFace/Jive). In fact, they changed the name of a roller coaster, Golitah, to “Fantasy Ride”, to support their homecoming star. Ciara’s third album is due in stores December 9th.
