Christina Aguilera was among the stars who paid their respects to Etta James at her funeral Saturday (Jan 28) at a church in the Los Angeles area.

During the service, held at the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California, the singer, dressed in all black, performed the classic Etta James tune “At Last.”

Introducing her song, Christina told the crowd, “There’s a line in this song that says ‘I found a dream that I could speak to.’ And for me that dream, all my life, has been Etta James.”

But unfortunately, her performance was up-staged by a mysterious “substance” that appeared to run down her leg as she belted out the notes to the song.

The songstress seemed to be unfazed by the leakage as she sang, however, video footage shows her trying to wipe away the liquid, which many believe to be “period blood” (but others say it’s from a spray tan gone bad).

It remains unknown what caused the dark lines to drip, however it is recommended to let a fake tan dry for at least a few hours before coming in contact with liquid – or perhaps in Aguilera’s case, working up a sweat. [NYDN]

Regardless of whether it was tanning lotion mixed with sweat, or (worse) period blood … this is an embarrassing situation all around for Christina Aguilera, who is no stranger to being embarrassed live on stage.

Around this time last year, the Pop singer has messed up the lyrics to the National Anthem during the 2011 Super Bowl, and the following week, she slipped and fell on stage at the Grammy Awards.

But Aguilera didn’t let her embarrassing mishap at Etta James’ funeral outshine her tribute.

“Etta wasn’t just any performer, she was a strong woman whose talent came from a place so deep it moved people in ways they never felt before. Losing her was, to me, like losing a part of my soul,” Aguilera told People the following day.

“I can only hope that she felt the love in the room as we all came together to pay tribute to her and celebrate her life as a person and as an artist. She will be deeply missed and I thank her family for allowing me such a great honor.”

Following an introduction from Bruno Mars, Adam Levine and Maroon 5 shared the stage with an EXTREMELY curvaceous Christina Aguilera (who wore a skin-tight dress) Sunday Night (Nov 20) at the 2011 American Music Awards in L.A. as the group performed their “Moves Like Jagger” single.

They say what goes around comes around and Kelly Osbourne just served a big ol’ dish of whatever is supposed to come around to ‘The Voice’ judge, Christina Aguilera.

During a recent episode of E!’s “Fashion Police,” show host Joan Rivers commented that Aguilera looked like she was stuffed into Givenchy LBD whilst being pictured in Munich, Germany. To which Kelly, 26, shockingly (but not really) said “Maybe she is just becoming the fat bitch she was born to be. I don’t know. She was a c*nt to me. And she bought my house!. She called me fat for so many f***ing years. So you know what? F**k you! You’re fat too.”

In a February 2010 interview with Us Weekly, Kelly opened up about her much publicised weight issues. “I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict,” she said. “I will never understand that … I would rather be called ugly than be called fat!’”

During this past Tuesday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” pop crooner Christina Aguilera opened up about her infamous botch job on the lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner during this year’s Super Bowl.

“I had been singing that song my entire life,” said the singer, who now headlines NBC’s new singing competition series, The Voice. “I was the youngest anthem singer in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. I sang for the Steelers when I was this big,” she said, referring to her pint size childhood stature. “I think 7 or 8 years old. I would sing for them. I think had a moment where I was at the Super Bowl at 30 years old. I took in the moment a little bit too much. Shoot me for appreciating the moment but here I am at the Super Bowl … singing for a team and in front of the world. And remembering what it was like to be that young and look where I made it now.”

Christina claims that after her flub, “that night I knew, I just made myself a Trivial Pursuit question. ‘In 2011 what female singer, ya know, flubbed the lyrics.’ It’s just insane.”

In the end, she said, “I have a really good laugh about it and you get over things. You get back up again and you just prove to yourself and to everyone you that much stronger.”

Christina Aguilera #failed a lot over the past year or so.

From her divorce, to the underwhelming responses to her album Bionic and her movie “Burlesque” (both released last year), flubbing the national anthem during this year’s Super Bowl, tripping on stage at the Grammys, and the countless headlines that left people thinking “WTF are you doing Christina?!” 2011 (and part of 2010) just hasn’t been very friendly to her.

But now that she has scored a judging gig on NBC’s new talent competition show ‘The Voice,’ the Pop star is glad things are turning around. “The last year has probably, with the divorce and considering everything that’s gone on, has humbled me a little bit,” she says with a laugh.

Aguilera says The Voice represents a new beginning for her in every sense. The concept of the show intrigued her and took her back to why she started singing. “Being in this business for quite a few years now, sometimes you do take things for granted. I’ve had my ups and I’ve had my downs. You have to take the good with the bad in this business. It gets me back to the root of why I got into this business, and that’s real, raw talent,” says Aguilera, 30.

The show films in Los Angeles and has allowed Aguilera to stay near her son, Max, 3, and record her new album. The next release, Aguilera says, will focus on her personal evolution. “For this one, I really want to make a real rooted, heartfelt record. After someone goes through the things that I have, regarding a divorce, there’s a lot of emotions that are stirred,” she says.

Aguilera, whose towering talent has never been questioned, says she keeps right on going, even when things get tough. “I prove to myself that I’m stronger than just to let things take over me, and take over my head space,” Aguilera says. “I’m very honest with myself in seeing if there are things that I need to change about my life, or if there are things I need to do stepping forward. That’s in part why I got the divorce. It’s a new beginning for me. It’s all positivity for me. I’ve been through some hard things, but I’m on the up and up. ”

The advice she would most want to impart to the contestants she’s coaching on her team? To always follow your gut and focus on why you’re making music. It’s not about the freebies or the fame. “There’s so much in the media and in the press, opportunities to get swayed. That’s why I stay so far away from reading anything about myself. I love to sing. It’s what moves me and inspires me. To be able to do that is a gift.”

The Pop singer’s divorce from her estranged husband Jordan Bratman was officially finalized today, making the record label exec. her now ex husband.

Although the former couple settled their divorce back in February, the docs listed Friday, April 15th 2011 as the date the marriage would officially be scrapped. (Much like Christina’s ailing music career, ha!)

This hasn’t been the greatest of months for Christina Aguilera. But now, the singer — who, within one month’s time butchered the National Anthem during the Super Bowl, collapsed onstage at the Grammy Awards, and was arrested for public intoxication — says she’s ready to turn things around.

“In light of the past year, there have been obvious setbacks,” she told UsMagazine.com. “I’ve gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish.”

“It’s a life-uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge,” said the 30 year old pop star.

Christina went on to say that her recent slip-ups have been a blessing in disguise.

“Sometimes you could be having the worst day of your life and you have to get up on that stage and you have to give to your fans in a way that they would never know the difference,” she continued. “You have to lose yourself in that moment and you have to be so involved. Take yourself out of your own headspace or use whatever you’re going through and put it into the passion of your song.”

Aguilera said she plans to use her recent experiences to mentor contestants on NBC’s “The Voice,” where she’ll coach aspiring singers alongside Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.

“There have been things that have happened on stage that any performer can absolutely relate to and I’m so happy that I get to share these moments with them in such an intimate environment,” she explained.

“I’m actually revealing a lot about myself during this show — a side of myself that I think a lot of people have never seen before, that only my closest friends see when the cameras go off,” Aguilera said. “I just wanted to approach this show very openly. I’m human, too, and people make mistakes and go through things in life and I’m definitely taking that into the show.”

Looks like Christina Aguilera is still riding on the nice train when it comes to her one time pop rival, Britney Spears.

While promoting her new NBC show “The Voice” with producer Mark Burnett, the newly appointed judge said of her recent Tweet supporting Spears’ album Femme Fatale:

“You know what I haven’t heard the whole thing in it’s entirety (Femme Fatale). I’ve been really hard at work on this show. I haven’t had quite the chance to go through the whole thing.

“But I am a huge supporter of her in light of the fact that both of our careers started off together and are still going and going strong,” she explained. “I just think at this point in the game it’s extremely important to be supportive of fellow artists and especially females who get pitted against each other and torn apart. As an old friend of mine from the Mickey Mouse Club, I think it’s important at this stage in the game to show my support.”

So besides Britney, what other female artists does Christina admire at the moment?

“Jennifer Hudson has a beautiful voice. I truly enjoy working with her and we became friends. She’s such a cool, down to earth person. She definitely has some pipes and it’s effortless to hit those notes. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Florence, Florence & The Machine, she has quite a striking and interesting voice. And Adele, I think she has a really cool something that is going on right now. So those would be the 3.”

Another day, another leak of illicit celebrity photos. This time around the leak comes courtesy of Pop vocalist Christina Aguilera and her ex-husband Jordan Bratman, while the two were getting a little “frisky” during Nicole Richie’s bachelorette bash in Cabo last year.

According to Radaronline:

The provocative images of the Dirrty pop star — who split from her husband of five years, music producer Jordan Bratman last year — were on a digital storage card that was found in a French hotel. The revealing collection is time-stamped from June to November, 2010.

RadarOnline.com has seen 109 of the photographs, sent to us by a man who was attempting to sell Aguilera’s private album. He claimed the card was discarded in an upscale hotel room where Aguilera and Rutler had stayed.

Fifteen of the images were taken on September 17, 2010 at Richie’s bachelorette bash in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Aguilera is pictured drinking, smoking a cigar and posing with Richie at the star’s soiree, with flowers in her hair. Richie, who married rocker husband Joel Madden two months later, is also caught on camera in a bikini near the beach with a blow-up male doll strapped to her.

There are also several personal and romantic shots of 30-year-old Aguilera and Rutler, who worked as a set assistant on the film Burlesque, in which she starred. In one, the pair are seen kissing passionately at different times and in various locations and laying in bed together.

The hatchet between Pop sensations Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera may very well be buried. The former Mouseketeers had nothing but compliments for each other yesterday, which, of course, they spread via Twitter. It started off with Aguilera congratulating Spears on the release of her new album Femme Fatale. She tweeted:

“Hey @BritneySpears Congrats on Femme Fatale release! Can’t wait to see what you bring in the next video. xo – Xtina.”

Brit-Brit immediately responded and tweeted:

“Thanks @TheRealXtina. Can’t wait to watch you on your new show. Hope we get to hear that voice on The Voice. -Brit.”

Both performers rose to fame together following their stint as Mouseketeers in Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club. But they had a very public falling out in the late 1990′s and early 2000′s as they battled for chart dominance. Both stars have both had public scandals as well, with Britney and her marriage issues and, more recently, Christina Aguilera with hers.

But kudos to both ladies for letting bygones be bygones!

This week while out in L.A. promoting her upcoming NBC show “The Voice,” Christina Aguilera finally opened up about dealing with the pitfalls of fame after her highly publicized arrest just two weeks ago.

“We’re only able to be seen through the microscope of the media and what people gossip about,” Aguilera, 30, told UsMagazine.com during her first public appearance since the headline grabbing arrest.

“You take the good with the bad. It’s by telling our stories, sharing our experiences and really giving a first hand look at us as human beings [that shows] who we really are apart from what we seem to be.

A lesson the pop diva is eager to pass on to the aspiring superstars she’ll be judging/mentoring on the show.

“I am ready to share it all so I’m really excited,” she gushed. “I hope we can find the next biggest thing. But I’m not looking for vocal acrobatics. I really sincerely want to be moved by raw talent.”

Isn’t it ironic that someone who flubbed the national anthem during the world’s largest televised event somehow managed to snag a gig judging others on a singing competition?

According to  Us Weekly, on March 4th, just three days after her wine filled outing led to her very public intoxication arrest, 30-year-old pop sensation Christina Aguilera, and her new boy toy Matthew Rutler, were back at Osteria Mozza, the L.A. eatery the two were drinking at moments before getting  hauled off to the slammer.

And once again they were there guzzling down bottles of wine. Two to be exact.

“She acted as if the arrest never happened,” a Mozza source tells Us. “When their server offered them dessert, they asked for more wine.” When it was time to leave, “She seemed tipsy,” the observer notes.

Luckily for these two, the pair smartened up this time around, and went home via chauffeured limo.

Speaking on Christina’s seemingly downward spiral, one insider did go on to point out:

“She should see the arrest as a wake-up call, but she doesn’t. She doesn’t think things are that bad.”

She doesn’t think things are that bad, eh? We’re pretty sure she’s aware things are “that bad.” After her Super Bowl debacle, her recent arrest, and Bionic‘s TERRIBLE album figures, how could she not?

Christina Aguilera is back in the headlines. This time around it’s for her 2006 hit single “Ain’t No Other Man”, which borrows a sample from a  43-year-old song — a sample which a new lawsuit claims Sony Music hasn’t paid the rightful owner for.

Christina’s song samples from a 1968 Latin tune entitled “Hippy Skippy Moon Strut” (aka “I’ll Be a Lucky Man”) by Dave Cortez and the Moon People. (Yes that’s their official name).

According to the federal lawsuit, which was filed in New York, TufAmerica purchased the  exclusive rights to “Hippy Skippy” in 2004, however Christina’s label, Sony Music, inked a deal with Codigo Music and the Clyde Otis Music Group to use the song.

TufAmerica is asking the court to declare it the rightful owner of the soulful ’60s hit, and to void the other publishers’ claims on the song. The company is also seeking monetary damages.

SMH….things just keep going from bad to worse with this girl.

It has been officially confirmed by Entertainment Weekly that recently jailed singer Christina Aguilera has signed on to be a judge/coach on the new Mark Burnett-produced singing competition enitled “The Voice.”

At the judges table Aguilera will be in the company of  “F**k You” singer Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.

Speaking on her new duties, Christina had this to say:

“I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it,” Aguilera said in a statement. “To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms. I am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to ‘The Voice.’” (Source)

Burnett, the show’s creator & executive producer,  claimed he knew right off the bat that the “Dirrty” singer would be the perfect female coach.

“When I decided to produce ‘The Voice,’ I immediately knew that my first choice for a female coach had to be Christina Aguilera,” Burnett told EW. “Christina has a perfect voice and is an undeniable force in the music business. She is the epitome of ‘The Voice.’”

“The Voice” premieres on April 26th on NBC. Hopefully by then Christina’s voice (and mind) will be prepared so we don’t all have to endure another round of this.

It appears that Christina Aguilera’s drinking problem….isn’t something that just started yesterday.

Close friends and business associates of the Pop singer have been urging her to go to rehab for months now, sources say.

“Maybe when she was married she was able to keep it under wraps, but it’s out in the open now,” one source told TMZ.

Just last month, Christina’s ex-hubby Jordan Bratman voiced his concern over her drinking problem when the two hashed out their child custody agreement. But in the end, the pair eventually settled on joint custody.

So far, Aguilera has refused all attempts to get her into rehab….wonder if she’ll go for it now??? Especially after being arrested and all of the other drama that’s been going on in her life this year.

At 2:45 am this morning, the “Genie In A Bottle” singer was booked for public intoxication in West Hollywood after her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was arrested for driving under the influence. Aguilera was said to be so intoxicated that she was “unable to take care of herself.”

Aguilera was arrested at 2:45 AM and booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s substation on a misdemeanor charge. On the booking report, Aguilera was listed at 5’2 and 100 pounds.

Aguilera’s 25-year-old boyfriend Matthew Rutler was also arrested last night at the same time for a misdemeanor offense. According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, Rutler’s bail was set at $30,000.

Law enforcement sources tell us Aguilera appeared to be “extremely intoxicated” and was “unable to take care of herself.” However, the source adds, “If the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble.”

Sources close to Xtina tell us they have been trying to get the singer into a rehab program for weeks.

According to US Magazine, the R&B singer has been receiving numerous complaints lately about her out of control behavior with her new boo Matthew Rutler.

The two even recently had sex in a bathroom at a family gathering. (Who does that?) And many of Christina’s friends are fed up with her at this point.

“Her friends are fed up. Nobody can get through to her. They think she’s trashy. And her ego is out of control.”  One source stated.

Another source went on to add….at the rate she’s going,  we can expect to see her in rehab soon.

“She’s really spiraling. I would be shocked if she’s not in rehab in the next month or two.”

Damn…this really hasn’t been Christina’s month!

Singers Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Yolanda Adams, Florence Welch (from Florence & the Machine) and Martina McBride opened up the 2011 Grammy Awards with a touching tribute to legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin.

The ladies performed renditions of a few of Queen of Soul’s songs, including “Natural Woman,” “Ain’t No Way,” “Until YOu Come Back to Me,” “Think,” “Respect” and “Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves.”

Though Ms. Franklin couldn’t make it to the show, she did appear in a pre-recorded segment from her home in Detroit, MI where she thanked the performers and wished everyone good luck.

Well it’s about damn time….

Christina Aguilera’s estranged hubby Jordan Bratman has finally filed for divorce, which puts the former couple one step closer to finalizing their divorce settlement.

According to RadarOnline, Bratman filed his portion of the paperwork at the Los Angeles District Court on Tuesday and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break-up. He also told the court that the pair have “resolved” their property, assets and debts, “by signed agreement.”

As for their 2 year-old son Max, the couple have already reached an agreement about custody.

Even though it took a while….we’re glad they got all that worked out. Now Jordan can pack his sh** and go!

Christina Aguilera suffered public humiliation last night (Sun. Feb 6) when she flubbed the words to the National Anthem during her performance at the Super Bowl. And now just a day later, in an effort to try and safe face, the singer has released an official statement apologizing for the mishap.

“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place,” Christina shared in a statement to JustJared.com. “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”

Christina Aguilera performed the “Star Spangled Banner” during tonight’s Super Bowl. In one of the biggest performances of her career, the singer forgot some of the words midway through the song. Instead of “O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming,” Aguilera sang “what so prodly we watched at the twilight’s last [unintelligable lyric].”

Fortunately for the Pop star got the crowd back on her side when she nailed the “rocket’s red glare” line though, however a source tells our friends over at Pop Eater that the singer is “devastated” that she screwed up the National Anthem.

“This was the biggest performance of her career and she blew it,” the source told Rob Shuter of PopEater.com. “To mess up the lyrics was a disaster.”

Christina Aguilera‘s current living conditions are very “interesting” to say the least. A source has revealed that the singer, her 3-year-old son Max, her ex husband Jordan Bratman AND her new boyfriend Matt Rutler are all living with each other under the same roof.

Why? Because Jordan REFUSES to move out!

“It’s gotten really awkward,” a source said.

Apparently Jordan looks after Max at the $11.5 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion while Aguilera and Rutler are out and about, and the source says that Jordan “won’t leave the house!”

After nearly 5 years of marriage, Christina filed for divorce from Jordan in October 2010. She recently admitted that she feels “love” for her “special” new boo Matt.

“There’s a love there, yes. Matthew is a special person. We had a really strong friendship on the movie,” she gushed. “He’s the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it’s daylight. Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy. I’m having fun, I’m dating and it’s something I haven’t had in a really long time.”

Hope you can get that “in-home ex-husband” situation straightened out asap! That has GOT to be weird!!!

Christina Aguilera has been tapped to perform at this year’s Super Bowl! The NFL and Fox have both confirmed that the “Burlesque” star is set to sing the National Anthem on Sunday, February 6th at Super Bowl XLV.

“I have been performing the anthem since I was seven years old and I must say the Super Bowl is a dream come true,” the singer said in statement. “I am really excited to be part of such an iconic event.”

Aguilera joins a long list of legendary female singers who have performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, including Diana Ross, her “Burlesque” co-star Cher, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, and more.

Christina previously performed in the half-time show of Super Bowl XXXIV in Atlanta. Also scheduled to take center-field at the 2011 Super Bowl is Hip-Hop/Pop group the Black Eyed Peas, who are scheduled to perform during half-time.

Super Bowl XLV will go down on the first Sunday in February in Dallas, Texas where the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will compete against each other during the biggest football game of the entire season.

The Pop singer recently passed out and ended up in actor Jeremy Renner‘s bed at his 40th Birthday bash.

“Someone comes and tells me she’s in my room. I run up and open the door and I’m like, ‘Um, hi. What are you doing?’ She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend [Matthew Rutler] was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone’s birthday party that they don’t know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there,” Renner stated at Style’s Golden Globe party.

Another source also confirmed that Christina was acting so wild that her boyfriend Matthew Rutler had to step in.

“Christina was a mess at that party. She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep,” the anonymous source revealed.

Looks like somebody can’t hold their liquor! SMH…

The ex-Mouseketeer must’ve felt right at home when she and boyfriend Matt Rutler wore matching Mickey Mouse ears around the park. Her son Max enjoyed himself on the carrousel ride and looked quite comfy in his Mickey Mouse hoodie!

According to RadarOnline, the pics were sent to Christina’s stylist as a personal exchange. But were later stolen by a hacker who broke into the stylist’s account.

“The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina’s personal stylist’s account,” Christina’s rep stated. “The photos were taken in the privacy of Ms. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist. We find the actions of the hackers and the press who purchased and/or obtained these photos to be irresponsible and actionable. We are attempting to determine the identity of the hackers and will pursue them aggressively. Their conduct is reprehensible,” Christina’s rep continued.

Pop singer Christina performed “Express,” a track from her upcoming movie “Burlesque”, last night (Sun. Nov 21) at the 2010 American Music Awards. The show was held in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater and aired live on ABC. Christina Aguilera’s new movie “Burlesque” is due to hit theaters everywhere on Thanksgiving (Thurs. Nov 25).

Christina Aguilera is quite a busy bee! The talented diva spent the day at her Hollywood Walk of Fame star’s unveiling yesterday (Mon. Nov 15) and attended the world premiere of her new movie “Burlesque” later on that night.

Her co-star Cher was also at the premiere in Hollywood wearing a short sparkling dress that showed off her still great figure.   Other stars who came out in support of the film were Debi Mazar, Kathy Griffin, Robin Antin, Will Ferrell, Ryan Seacrest and girlfriend Julianne Hough, and sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. “Burlesque” will be out in theatres on November 24th.

In what probably was a very proud moment in her career, Christina Aguilera unveilved her Hollywood Walk of Fame star earlier today (Mon. Nov 15) in Hollywood, CA.

The multi-talented entertainer was accompanied by her inseparable mother Shelly Kearns and her brother Michael at the ceremony.  The co-star in the upcoming movie “Burlesque” with Cher looked radiantly happy wearing a white dress and her signature red lipstick.

Just two days after it was announced they were separated, pop singer Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman. Click the link below for the details:

According to TMZ, Aguilera filed the papers today (Thurs. Oct 14) and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup.

The divorce petition also states that two had a prenup and asks that “Earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be considered separate property.

But that’s not all….the petition seeks to terminate Bratman’s ability to get spousal support. Christina is also seeking joint physical and legal custody of their two-year-old child Max.

But what’s funny about all of this is that sources are saying the reason their marriage fell apart is because Christina cheated on Jordan. And If that’s the case…..then we really feel bad for the fella!!

According to UsMagazine, singer Christina Aguilera and her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman, have split up.

A close source tells the mag that the pair have been separated for a couple of months…but haven’t filed for divorce yet.

“They are now living apart, and they will see how that goes.”

The source also went on to add that both Christina and Jordan were very much in love…but over time just started to lose their connection.

“They were very much in love. But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife. proposed their August trip to Italy to ­rekindle their relationship, but it didn’t help.”

The couple wed back in 2005 and have a 2 year old son named Max together.

Maybe they just need a little time apart? They say distance makes the heart grow fonder…
