Rihanna’s face is what you’ll see on the May 2009 issue of Vibe Magazine where they go in on the alleged fight between her and boyfriend Chris Brown, which occursed on February 8th 2009, exactly 2 months prior to today’s date. We think it’s a little too soon to be making this situation a “cover story,” unless you’re a tabloid like Star, Enquirer, etc. Accredited and respected publications like Vibe know better. Or at least we thought they did.

Chris Brown unsurprisingly pleaded “not guilty” to two felony counts - assault and making criminal threats against his girlfriend Rihanna - Monday at his arraignment in a Los Angeles courtroom. He arrived at Los Angeles Superior Court Monday afternoon about thirty minutes late, dressed in all black with a somber look on his face. The 19-year-old singer was surrounded by security, a few close family members and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, as he entered the court house for his arraignment, which sources say lasted about 20 minutes.

Chris Brown made a surprise appearance Saturday afternoon at Norfolk State University in his home state of Virginia prompting rumors of the troubled singer enrolling in college. But a source told TMZ that he was just visiting the school with a cousin and has “not enrolled” and is “not interested” in attending NSU.

Brown, his mother and his cousin spent their Saturday taking the First View campus tour — a guided, private trek through the entire Norfolk campus, including the dorms, the offices and the classrooms. We’re told some people recognized Brown on the tour, but sources close to the situation tell us, “People know what’s going on with him and they were not paying him much attention at all.”

In the March 30 issue of Star — on sale now — we report that Rihanna allowed Chris to record some of their, um, intimate moments and — she worries that the racy tapes could ruin her — especially after seeing how quickly Chris turned on her once before. “Rihanna has no issues with her sexuality,” a source tells Star. “But she’d be mortified if her friends and family found this out!”

The paparazzi caught Chris Brown riding around Beverly Hills in a Bentley looking like someone stole his joy. Too bad the singer only has himself to blame. Word is he and Rihanna are taking a break from their relationship, but they haven’t officially called it quits yet.

A new survey, which was obviously taken by a bunch of sex crazed idiots who are in love with Chris Brown and believe he can do no wrong, says that Rihanna asked for a black eye, contusions, bite marks, and anything else her boyfriend gave her when he beat her ass because of a text message HE received. More than half of the young people who took part in a Boston Health Commission survey in Massachusetts feel RIHANNA was to blame for her bust up with CHRIS BROWN, for which the KISS KISS singer faces a five-year jail spell. The alleged beating on 8 February (09) left Rihanna with a black eye and swelling, and turned Brown into a media target. But the teenagers and 20-somethings asked for their opinion of what happened in Brown’s rented Lamborghini voted to apportion the blame for the fight on Rihanna.

They couldn’t have been serious when they took the survey. They just couldn’t have been. No woman ever “deserves” to get beat like that, no matter what.

Further proof of Chris Brown and Rihanna getting “back together” has been confirmed. How, you ask? According to sources close to the case, Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, wants the judge to give Rihanna a pass from testifying due to all of the leaks in the case. TMZ reports:

We’re told Geragos and Rihanna’s lawyer, Donald Etra, believe Rihanna was compromised when her name surfaced as the alleged victim in the beating. They claim this and other leaks violate her privacy rights and therefore she should not have to further put herself out to the public by testifying against Brown in the case. It’s further proof Rihanna and Brown are back together and in lockstep. Geragos asked to meet with the judge in chambers, along with the prosecutors, on March 23 to discuss letting Rihanna off the hook. Brown’s arraignment is set for April 6.

Chris Brown’s manager Tina Davis is now shutting down rumors of the two being intimate with each other after sources said that she was in fact the woman who was texting Chris Brown the night of the fight between him and Rihanna.

The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false,” said Marshall B. Grossman, Davis’ lawyer. “There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports.

R&B Singer Chris Brown has officially removed himself from the ballots and anything associated with the upcoming 2009 Kid’s Choice Awards. The following press release says that while Chris Brown would love to talk to his fans directly about this and other issues, legally he isn’t able to do so right now.

A spokesman for Chris Brown said that, given the controversy surrounding his nominations for Kids’ Choice Awards, he is withdrawing his name from consideration. “Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”

Brown is due in court on April 6th 2009 to face charges of assault and making criminal threats to girlfriend Rihanna.
