Brittny Gastineau is putting an end to rumors that she is not only dating Michael Phelps, but also carrying his baby.

The celebrity socialite (who is also the daughter of former NFL player Mark Gastineau) admits that she did, indeed, share romantic evening in Los Angeles recently with the Olympic championship swimmer, but as far as the rumors of her buying a pregnancy test at a pharmacy in New York City a few days later, Gastineau told People exclusively: “I never did.”

The daughter of football star Mark Gastineau also throws cold water on the Phelps romance, confirming that the two are no longer dating. “I’m too busy to date anyone because I’m working so hard on my jewelry line,” she says.

And while Gastineau is not pregnant, she does have big plans for becoming a mom – someday. “It would be great to be pregnant at the same time as my BFF Kim [Kardashian],” she says of her longtime pal, who recently made headlines thanks to her budding relationship and sudden split with Halle Berry’s ex Gabriel Aubrey.

Adds Gastineau: “We’re both single!” (People)

Celebrity socialite Brittny Gastineau and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps are secretly dating, according to a brand new report from TMZ.com.

Gastineau (the daughter of former NFL star Mark Gastineau) and Phelps were spotted shopping and spending some QT with each other over the weekend at the Grove in Los Angeles, and as soon as TMZ started filming footage of the pair out together, they split in opposite directions!

A source close to the pair tells us the whole thing is kind of new, but the pair hung out at the Mondrian Hotel on Friday night and were “very cozy.” Then on Saturday, we’re told they hit up a Coffee Bean and did a little shopping … that’s when we caught up with them.

The rumored relationship between the socialite and the Olympic gold medalist has already been met with some controversy, as Phelps’ fans are concerned that if he’s out wining and dining Gastineau, he most likely isn’t training for the upcoming 2012 London Olympics.

Brittny Gastineau (who is BFFs with Kim Kardashian) is best known for starring in “Gastineau Girls,” an E! reality series that ran for two seasons back in 2005.

Today is a big day for NBA basketball star Carmelo Anthony and his fiancee, TV personality Lala Vazquez. Anthony and Vazquez have been engaged since Christmas Day 2005, and are set to finally tie the knot tonight in New York City in front of their families and closest friends.
