Pop singer Britney Spears and her new fiance Jason Trawick flew to Las Vegas Friday night (Dec 16) where they celebrated their newly announced engagement at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

The couple was also in Sin City celebrating Jason’s 40th birthday, and to kick off the festivities, Spears and Trawick had dinner at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie, where they reportedly feasted on salmon and ate the eatery’s famous chocolate pizza.

Right before midnight, the duo and 30 of their closest friends & family members hit the Chateau nightclub where Spears presented her new fiance with a two-tier red velvet birthday cake.

“She seemed really excited to be at the club,” an insider tells Us Weekly of the soon-to-be Mrs. Trawick, who debuted her three-carat Neil Lane ring for the first time Friday night at the bash, which doubled as an engagement celebration for the pair.

According to Radar Online, Britney and Jason don’t plan on getting married until two lawsuits against Britney are settled and her conservatorship is lifted, which is all supposed to happen in the coming months.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are getting married!

“Yes, we are engaged,” Jason confirmed with Access Hollywood today, adding that he and Britney are “over the moon.”

According to US Weekly, Trawick popped the question last night (Thu. Dec 15) during a romantic dinner for his 40th birthday.

Jason and Britney plan on celebrating their engagement tonight at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, a source revealed to the magazine.

“This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time,” the source explained to US Weekly. “It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.”

Spears hinted at the big news earlier in the day with the following tweet:

OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo

When Britney and Jason make it official, this will make Britney’s third time walking down the aisle, but only her second official “marriage.”

Britney famously wed her childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 in Las Vegas, but the marriage was quickly annulled within 55 hours.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick first met back in 2006 when Trawick started representing the 30-year-old Pop singer while she was still married to Kevin Federline.

After Brit and K-Fed divorced in 2006, followed by Britney’s personal struggles in 2007 and 2008, Trawick proved himself to be a true friend to Britney, and “was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything,” a source told US Weekly earlier this year.

Jason is said to be great with Britney’s kids too. “They look up to him so much — they adore him. He’s their hero.”

She continued, “We have such a great time together! He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves. I’ve never been happier.”

Former Pussycat Doll turned X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger declared her love for pop icon Britney Spears by imitating the superstar during an interview on Conan O’Brien’s TBS talk show on Monday night.

Last night, MTV took a few minutes to pay tribute to one of Pop music’s greatest performers: Britney Spears!

Introduced by Lady Gaga — er, we we mean Jo Calderone — a group of young girls, dressed in Britney’s various iconic outfits, danced up a storm to a mash-up of Britney’s hit singles, including “Baby One More Time,” “Oops I Did It Again,” “Slave 4 U,” “Toxic,” “Hold It Against Me” and “Til the World Ends.”

Immediately after the tribute performance, Jo presented Britney with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and tried to seal it with a kiss, but Britney wasn’t having it. “I’ve done that already,” Britney quipped. “I don’t want Gaga to get pissed,” Jo said after Britney turned down his advance.

Held at the Nokia Theater L.A. The MTV Video Music Awards have confirmed that at this year’s awards they will be honoring Britney Spears’ work by paying tribute to the pop princess.

Executive vice president of Music and Talent for MTV, Amy Doyle, told Billboard.com, “Britney will be at the show and we’ll be paying tribute to her.” She continued, “She was having an incredible year and she is so beloved by the MTV audience that we started to think what could we do that would be a different experience (from years past). Obviously everything from her choreography to her fashion to her videos will be (covered). We said ‘let’s challenge ourselves to do something unique.’”

The VMA’s will also pay tribute to UK soul singer Amy Winehouse, who tragically died at her home last month. “We had a great history with Amy,” EVP Doyle said.

The annual awards show will take place in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on August 28th.

Oops she did it again! Dishing out the seductiveness, Britney Spears gave opening act DJ Pauly D a playful lap dance on the Montreal stop of her “Femme Fatale” tour on Thursday night (Aug 11).

Donning a fluffy pink feathered boa, the “Hold It Against Me” singer handcuffed Pauly D to a pole and danced provocatively all over him! Pauly later tweeted, “Wow, just got a lap dance on stage from Britney Spears.”

In an earlier interview with Us Weekly the DJ, who recently signed with 5o Cent’s G-Unit, told the magazine, “Britney is one of my favorite performers and certainly one of this generation’s most influential artists. The Femme Fatale Tour is an amazing platform to connect with my fans around the country.”

The Jersey Shore native is currently on tour with Spears as the opening act for six of her scheduled dates.

The “Friends with Benefits” star told Elle: “I was caught … My mom wasn’t cool about it. I was too young to be in bed with a girl.” But who was he caught with? Could it have been one of his former girlfriends Britney Spears or Black Eyed Peas front-woman Fergie?

Timberlake dated Spears when they were 18 … but they met when they were just 12 on the set of “The Mickey Mouse Club.” As far as Fergie is concerned, Justin dated her prior to his relationship with Spears when he was 16 and she was 23.

Justin Timberlake’s reps have declined to comment, according to Page Six.

The talent manager at William Morris Endeavor — where he met Brit — is moving over to a company called Famos, where he will “create an arts and entertainment division.”

This big move means  that Trawick will no longer be Brit’s main man, and he’ll instead be overseeing the Famos’ entertainment brand, F*Star. But the best part about the new gig is his new business partner for the venture?  Rock legend Mick Jagger!

After 12 years with William Morris, Jason’s gearing up for some tech-savvy innovation. He said in a statement::

“As agents, we’re constantly getting pitched deals with some new technology that’s going to revolutionize this or monetize that, when basically they’re all just reading off the same script. Famos is a different animal — a disruptive technology that respects the artist and values the fan.”

Young Money’s Harajaku Barbie Nicki Minaj has confessed that she absolutely cannot wait to hit the road with Britney Spears and see the Femme Fatale singer in action.

“I really want to see [Britney] in action,” Minaj explained to Entertainment Tonight. “She’s definitely an icon and I want to see what she does and how she moves the crowd and how she has managed to stay in the game this long and be relevant.”

In regards to her own set, Minaj teased that concert-goers can expect her to be as crazy as usual. “It will be just me being a crazy lunatic probably as always,” she said.

The tour is scheduled to kick off on June 16th in Sacramento.

Pop sensation Britney Spears’ ex-manager wants the platinum selling diva to testify in a defamation case against her parents, but her mom says her daughter is too mentally incapable to do so!

Britney’s former manager, Sam Lufti, sued Momma Lynne Spears for blaming him for manipulating and alienating Britney in her new memoir, “Through the Storm”, and tarnishing his reputation. The ex-manager is apparently confidant Britney will support his case and wants Britney to testify on his side, Billboard reported.

According to a request filed in Los Angeles last week, Lufti wants a psychiatric evaluation of the singer to prove she’s perfectly sane enough to do it.

Britney hasn’t submitted to a test yet, but Lufti showed a March interview with Ryan Seacrest to his own expert UCLA Assistant Professor of Psychiatry Joshua Pretsky, to study her behavior.

“…she responds logically and coherently to questions, evidencing logical thinking and mental competency,” Pretsky wrote in a declaration to court, obtained by Billboard. “The edited interviews in the [MTV] video documentary also evidence coherent and logical thinking, responsiveness to questions, and mental competence…”

Lufti, who got served his walking papers back in 2008, claims that Brit’s life was already a  big ole mess before he got involved in 2007.

This one is just all kinds of messy.

29-year-old pop sensation Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick walked the red carpet as they shared hosting duties at An Evening of “Southern Style” presented by the St. Bernard Project & the Spears family at a private residence in Beverly Hills  this past Wednesday (May 11). This is a rare occurrence for Spears, who has strayed away from red carpet appearances in recent years, choosing to keep a low profile since her very public meltdown a few years back.

According to USA Today, Spears’ reassurance on the red carpet was extra special as she brought along her 39 year-old beau Jason Trawick. Although there have been numerous paparazzi photos of the couple together, the event marked the first time that the pair attended a red carpet as a couple since they started dating. Brit rocked a bright green dress and loose, flowing locks, while Jason looked quite at home by his lady’s side in front of the cameras.

Pop star Britney Spears is taking the healthy route for her upcoming tour. The pop singer has reportedly given caterers strict instructions not to make any junk food because she’s not allowed to consume  it … which means no hot dogs, pizza and cookie dough ice cream, which have all been blacklisted. No beer or any alcohol either.

Spears has also requested that Micheal Jackson songs be played continuously in her dressing rooms. A mini gym is also being transported to each show, as well as humidifiers, which Britney heard Queen Beyonce uses to protect her voice.

Britney Spears decided to drop in on Nicki Minaj as she hosted an after-party (following her concert in L.A. with Lil Wayne) at The Factory in West Hollywood Friday night (Apr 22). According to sources at the event, it was “complete pandemonium” when Britney entered the building.

“[It] was complete pandemonium,” a source told E! News. “Six people were carried out after hyperventilating. They literally fainted when Britney walked onto the stage where Nicki was hanging. People were crowd surfing to get to the stage. Screams were so loud for Nicki and Brit you couldn’t hear the music. Bouncers couldn’t hold the crowd back.”

Kourtney Kardashian was also spotted in the VIP area of the West Hollywood nightclub, along with Britney’s boyfriend Jason Trawick.

In a shocking twist of events Britney Spears’ longtime friend and choreographer has quit her upcoming tour.

Known for his work on Brit’s live shows and videos such as “Slave 4 U,” “Toxic” and most recently “Hold It Against Me,” Brian Friedman has worked with Britney for a large chunk of her career. So it came as a huge surprise when the announcement came that he will not be working with her this time around.

However, it’s not due to any major falling out. Friedman took to Twitter to lay the rumors to rest before they even got a chance to start swirling. He tweeted:

Britney Spears has re-released an all dance version of her “Till The World Ends” music video. The difference between this video and the one that premiered last week, is that the first release has an apocalyptic feel to it, whereas this newer version solely focues Bri-Brit’s dance moves. The deal was signed several days ago, and Britney is elated. Everyone involved in the concert is relieved Enrique Iglesias’ ego couldn’t handle opening for Britney and feel Nicki will be infinitely better.

Minaj, who is on tour with Lil Wayne until the end of the month, currently has two singles on the Billboard Top 100 — “Moment 4 Life” and “Did It On’em”

Everyone connected with the concert series thinks Nicki will create even more heat for the tour, which kicks off on June 17 in Sacramento, CA.

Spears dished about their budding relationship with UsMagazine.com:

“We have such a great time together!” Spears said. “He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves.”

While promoting her new NBC show “The Voice” with producer Mark Burnett, the newly appointed judge said of her recent Tweet supporting Spears’ album Femme Fatale:

“You know what I haven’t heard the whole thing in it’s entirety (Femme Fatale). I’ve been really hard at work on this show. I haven’t had quite the chance to go through the whole thing.

“But I am a huge supporter of her in light of the fact that both of our careers started off together and are still going and going strong,” she explained. “I just think at this point in the game it’s extremely important to be supportive of fellow artists and especially females who get pitted against each other and torn apart. As an old friend of mine from the Mickey Mouse Club, I think it’s important at this stage in the game to show my support.”

Catch Christina Aguilera on NBC’s “The Voice” when it premieres later this month (Tue. Apr 26)!

You would think that in the middle of releasing a new album that Britney Spears would have no time at all to concentrate on anything but her career. But the reformed mother of two recently took time out to spend some mommy-and-me time with her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston.

On Sunday (Apr 3), the “Slave 4 U” singer was pictured with both of her boys at The Lion King Live show in Las Vegas. The family were granted VIP access backstage and were able to take pictures with the cast of the show.

Pop sensation Britney Spears recently dropped her Femme Fatale album, and in order to give the project proper promotion, MTV aired a special entitled “I Am The Femme Fatale” to give viewers a special glimpse at the development of the Spears’ highly anticipated 7th album.

Both Britney and her father Jamie Spears are being accused of cutting Brand Sense Partner, LLC out of commission owed to them on a perfume deal they brokered with Elizabeth Arden.

The deal was originally negotiated in 2003, and renegotiated last year, but the brand marketing company now claims that the new agreement is in violation with the original one they drafted 8 years ago.

The suit, filed in L.A. County Superior court this week states that Britney secretly made a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to get out of adhering to her original obligations to Brand Sense.

So, in other words, Britney basically cut Brand Sense out of the deal behind their back “improperly and illegally,” and they’re pretty pissed about it.

Britney’s camp have not yet released a statement concerning the matter.

Enrique Iglesias may have bailed out on Britney Spears at the last minute, but word on the streets is … she has a pretty damn good replacement!

According to TMZ, the pop star and her people are working to land Nicki Minaj as the opening act for her upcoming concert tour.

So far, Britney and Nicki’s lawyers have been negotiating and will more than likely reach an agreement in the next day or so.

Nicki is currently on tour with Lil Wayne, and she’s schedule to end her run with him on April 28th. Britney’s tour begins June 17 in Sacramento.

The hatchet between Pop sensations Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera may very well be buried. The former Mouseketeers had nothing but compliments for each other yesterday, which, of course, they spread via Twitter. It started off with Aguilera congratulating Spears on the release of her new album Femme Fatale. She tweeted:

“Hey @BritneySpears Congrats on Femme Fatale release! Can’t wait to see what you bring in the next video. xo – Xtina.”

Brit-Brit immediately responded and tweeted:

“Thanks @TheRealXtina. Can’t wait to watch you on your new show. Hope we get to hear that voice on The Voice. -Brit.”

Both performers rose to fame together following their stint as Mouseketeers in Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club. But they had a very public falling out in the late 1990′s and early 2000′s as they battled for chart dominance. Both stars have both had public scandals as well, with Britney and her marriage issues and, more recently, Christina Aguilera with hers.

But kudos to both ladies for letting bygones be bygones!

Information about the tour, including official dates, were made public early this summer moments before Spears’ pre-recorded “Good Morning America” performances aired.

But it looks like Iglesias no longer wants to be apart of Britney’s upcoming summer tour, and has since canceled.

Live Nation, the company behind promotions for the tour, just sent out a press release stating: “Enrique Iglesias is no longer on this tour,” with no further explanation given.

She has been quoted as calling her new album Femme Fatale a “fierce dance record” and promises that it guarantees that it will make listeners “get up and move your body.”

“The bitch is back and better than ever! I think it’s the best album I have ever made. There’s nothing to say. I’ll let the music speak for me. I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way. That’s what I want from the music I listen to.”

Pop icon Britney Spears is back with a spanking-new album, and she’s celebrating Vegas style!

The “Oops I Did It Again” singer headed to Las Vegas Friday night (Mar 25) for two surprise shows at the Palms. The concert wasn’t even announced until the day of by Spears herself.

“Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas?” Brit tweeted Friday.

The diva first performed a private show at 8 p.m., followed by a midnight performance open to the public. Britney performed three songs from her new Femme Fatale album at Rain nightclub for more than 1,000 fans who paid $60 a ticket to see her. The singer’s set list included “Big Fat Bass,” “Till the World Ends” and her latest single “Hold It Against Me.”

Pauly D from “Jersey Shore” dee-jayed before her shows, and  MTV cameras were filming the shows for a TV special to coincide with her album’s release on Tuesday.

“They’re doing a behind-the-scenes documentary,” a source tells E! Online.

Platinum selling pop star Britney Spears is the latest celebrity to sign on to President Obama’s new anti-bullying campaign to stop the increasingly growing problem.

You’d be mistaken if you wrongfully assumed that Britney was just hopping on the anti-bullying bandwagon to gain some press for her upcoming album, because according to Spears’ twitter page, the President and First Lady Michelle Obama handpicked the southern bell to join their campaign.

”Anti bullying is an issue very close to my heart. I am honored that President Obama & the First Lady asked me to join this campaign,” Britney tweeted. “#StopBullyingNow.” (Source)
