R&B singer/songwriter Keri Hilson performed at the 59th Annual BMI Pop Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel Tuesday night (May 17) in Beverly Hills, California.

Other celebs like music legend Chaka Khan, R&B singer Anthony Hamilton, Cash Money artist Jay Sean, songwriter Kara DioGuardi, and rockers Joel and Benji Madden, and many more were also in attendance. The show also featured performances from Brian McKnight and Chaka Khan.

Actor/comedian turned late night talk show host George Lopez hosted his 4th Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic earlier this week (Mon. May 2) at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.

The celebrity guest list included Chaka Chan, Cedric the Entertainer, Nicole Murphy, Micheal Clarke Duncan, Anthony Anderson and more.

R&B singer Brian McKnight was ordered to fork over more than $340,000 to a woman who says he is the father of her 14-year-old-son.

Miriam Lee filed paternity and child support documents against the singer in Orange County, Florida last year alleging that her teenage son is the result of a brief fling she had with McKnight back in the 90′s. But since Brian didn’t file any docs addressing her claim, the judge presiding over the case ruled that he’s the daddy by default and also ordered him to pay over 14 years worth of child support, which amounts up to $341,640!

From this point forward, Brian must pay $11,388 per month but a rep for the “Back At One” singer tells TMZ:

“The judgment in Florida was a default judgment made without Brian present. He’s still looking to establish paternity, and is awaiting the results of a recent test.”

The 2009 Soul Train Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, were held earlier this month (Tues. Nov 3) at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta and were aired last night (Sun. Nov 3) on BET. We posted the arrival photos shortly after the show was recorded at the beginning of the month and here are the pictures from inside the show!

Trey Songz and Toni Braxton opened up the show with Braxton’s new single “So Yesterday” and ended their performance with a big ol’ passionate smooch on the lips! Toni says it was all planned and her husband knew about it well in advance so any speculation about that causing the separation between she and her husband is reportedly false.

Wait, Brian McKnight has a talk show???

TMZ is reporting that there’s some craziness going on behind the scenes of R&B singer/songwriter Brian McKnight’s new television show, “The Brian McKnight Show.”

According to the California Labor Board, more than 20 employees have filed non-payment complaints against the McKnight show — totaling $86,300.

But Brian’s people intend to pay — telling us there “was mismanagement in the beginning and since then we have gotten new investors and the show is continuing.”

We didn’t even know Brian McKnight had a talk show to begin with! And apparently he has a radio show too. There’s an official website and everything with information on where and when the radio/tv show airs. All of this is definitely news to us.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of him at J&R Music and Computer World in New York City Tuesday (Oct 27) promoting his new album, Evolution of a Man.

“My latest album is a culmination of how much I have changed,” McKnight said in a recent interview with the Banner. “I just turned 40, and I am a newly single dad after being married mostly during my 20s and 30s. This album is about the next stage in my life.”
