Beyonce caused quite a stir last night as the haters talked about her choice of attire for this year’s Academy Awards. We see nothing wrong with her dress though. We also need to let it be known that even though our girl Taraji P. Henson didn’t actually win an Oscar, the fact that she was nominated should definitely be celebrated. Beyonce shared the stage with Hugh Jackman, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and more at the 2009 Academy Awards as they sang a 6 and a half minute musical medley from some of the most famous musicals in movie history. We wonder why Beyonce was the only performer who punked out and lip-synched. Still, great performance never-the-less! Check it out above.

Beyonce said that she doesn’t drink often, but when she does, she says that she’s a pretty boring drunk.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, the star revealed that she enjoys an occasional glass of wine but considers herself to be a boring drinking partner. “I don’t drink often. But when I’m drunk, I’m very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep,” she said. “I don’t think I’m much fun.”

The “Single Ladies” singer added that she has no intention of ever experimenting with drugs, saying: “I always said I would never do it.

“I’ve never seen a person who was high and thought, ‘Wow, I want to do that!’ I’m like, ‘That’s cool for them, but no thank you. I’ll just have my wine.’”

Beyonce was spotted on the hot sunny Miami beach Thursday morning shooting a new music video with an unidentifiable extra in the video as well. We’re still waiting for her to add her husband Jay-Z to a video that he’s not a featured artist on. Sort of like how Robin Thicke puts his wife, Paula Patton, in his videos.

It’s still unclear which single Bey is shooting a video for but we’re sure this isn’t Sasha Fierce. It’s most likely either “Ave Maria” or “That’s Why You’re Beautiful.” Continue reading to check out more beautiful pics from the shoot!
