Taylor Swift joins B.o.B on “Both of Us,” a song from the rapper’s upcoming album “Strange Clouds,” which hits stores May 1st.

Last month, B.o.B’s Grand Hustle boss T.I. confirmed that Taylor Swift — who he calls an “unofficial” Hustle Gang family member — would appear on a song on B.o.B’s new album.

“Taylor’s extended Hustle Gang. She a part of the crew,” T.I. told Fuse last month. “She just ain’t got her dog tags yet, but she’s a part of the crew though.”

B.o.B takes his girl on a trip around the world in the music video for his latest single “So Good,” a cut from his upcoming album “Strange Clouds.”

B.o.B recently teamed up with Andre 3000 (the most sought after “feature” in Hip-Hop) for “Play the Guitar,” the second single from the Grand Hustle rapper’s upcoming sophomore album “Strange Clouds,” due in stores in March 2012.

Produced by Salaam Remi, the track, the follow-up to the album’s lead single “Strange Clouds” featuring Lil Wayne, also features a sample from Bobby Ray’s rap mentor T.I.

B.o.B teams up with Lil Wayne in “Strange Clouds,” the first offering from the Grand Hustle rapper’s upcoming sophomore release, which is yet to be titled.

Speaking on his new album, B.o.B said: “[It has] a more mature sound but nothing too experimental. It’s a happy medium between the sound of ‘B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray’ and the mixtapes, so everyone should be able to enjoy it.”

Rapper B.o.B is making major headlines for skipping out on a liquor tab worth over $1,000 at a nightclub in Ithaca, New York Saturday night (Sep 17).

According to reports, the Grand Hustle (T.I.’s label) artist, and his crew walked into Level B nightclub after previously playing a concert at nearby Cornell University, and ordered $900 worth of Vodka (3 bottles at $300K a pop), and even received a complimentary bottle on the house.

But staff members at Level B nightclub say they felt played by the rapper after he refused to pay his $1,060 bill.

Level B owner Brad Weiss said that B.o.B. and his coterie of about 12 people ordered three bottles of $300 Grey Goose Vodka, received a complimentary bottle of champagne and were given priority service at their reserved bar space. But later in the night, the group left without paying its bill, which would have included $160 in gratuity, according to Anthony Vipond, B.o.B.’s principal waiter on Saturday.

Vipond, who claims that he waited on B.o.B and his entourage for over an hour, says that when he realized the rapper and his entourage weren’t coming back to pay off their tab, he chased them into the street, but was told (by B.o.B’s manager), “We’re doing you a favor for not charging you … When we go to clubs, we get paid to come.”

“I said, ‘This is Ithaca, this is a different town. Things get handled a little differently here,’” Vipond told the Cornell Daily Sun.

However, TJ Chapman, who works for B.o.B, paints a different picture of the evening’s unfortunate turn of events. He says that Vipond continuously offered the group bottles without even asking for them, which had him under the impression that the drinks were free.

“I gladly said ‘yes, and thanks for all the hospitality’ … [but] when we were leaving the club he ran outside with a bill. I asked, ‘what’s this?’” Chapman explained to the Cornell Sun in an email. “I asked how he was gonna charge us when he kept offering the liquor in the first place?”

While Vipond said he pressed B.o.B.’s entourage for payment, Chapman said the Level B employee did not seem upset. “[Vipond] apologized and said ‘don’t worry about it,’” Chapman said. “Then we left. That’s the story.”

Still, Weiss emphasized that, although Vipond erred in not asking for a credit card earlier, at no point did someone from the group say that they expected to drink for free. “None of us had any idea at the time that they did not expect to pay for anything,” Weiss said. “We got no requests for anything in advance from B.O.B.s group, but a reserved table and to skip the line outside.”

Throughout the night, B.o.B. and his group thanked the Level B staff for its service, Vipond said. “When they were thanking me I thought it was for great service, not for the fact that they weren’t willing to pay for anything,” Vipond said. “We took care of him as best we could; we went out of his way for everything.”

B.o.B.’s unpaid tab was “financially, not a big deal for us,” Weiss said. He added, however, that B.o.B.’s presence did not dramatically increase the bar’s business on Saturday. “Just because B.o.B. showed up, it didn’t mean we did any more sales — some people ran in, stood around B.o.B. and his entourage, and then they left, without buying drinks,” Weiss said.

The Level B employees said they have had better experience with other celebrities who have visited the bar. “Celebrities that have visited the bar previously — Drake and members of the Gym Class Heroes, for example — have always paid,” Weiss said. “None of us had any idea at the time that [B.o.B. and his group] did not expect to pay for anything.”

Weiss says he’s basically gonna charge all of this to the game, and won’t be pursuing any legal action.

B.o.B., on the other hand, is a funny, funny character. How are you gonna show up unexpectedly at someone’s nightclub … and then basically DEMAND free drinks? Where they do that at???

The “Airplanes” rapper dropped a diss track earlier today, firing shots back at the group’s lead man Tyler the Creator over his track “Yonkers.”

For those who haven’t heard, Tyler says the following about B.O.B., Hayley Williams, and Bruno Mars in the song:

“What you think of Hayley Williams?) F**k her, Wolf Haley robbin’ ‘em/ I’ll crash that f**kin’ airplane that that faggot nigga B.o.B is in/ And stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus/ And won’t stop until the cops come in,”

Pop singer Katy Perry got into the Christmas spirit at the Y100 Jingle Ball concert Saturday (Dec 11) by wearing a sexy Mrs. Clause inspired outfit as she performed for the annual event, held this year at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL.

Chris Brown and Trey Songz laughed it up on the red carpet of the 2010 GQ Gentlemen’s Ball at the Edison Ballroom in New York City Wednesday night (Oct 27). The two R&B singers were joined by Nick Cannon, Jay Sean, B.o.B., Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore, and others at the annual GQ event.

Even though Marshall Mathers sold 608,000 copies of 2009′s Relapse in its first week, the project was panned by critics and longtime Em fans. They said he rhymed in too many weird voices, that the production sounded dated and that the subject matter was too grim. The LP didn’t make enough of an impact, and there really wasn’t much buzz around Eminem to even warrant him making the Hottest MCs list last year.

This year, however, was totally different. Eminem pretty much dominated 2010 from start to finish, and the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust voted him the #1 Hottest MC in the Game. “Obviously, the last album was lackluster,” mtvU’s Yomi Desalu said during the Hottest MCs roundtable discussion. “I think he recognized that, not being on the board last year.”

Hip-Hop newcomer B.o.B enlisted the help of his musician friends (and collaborators) Bruno Mars and Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams as the Atlanta rapper hit the VMA stage Sunday night (Sep 12) to perform two of his hit singles.

B.o.B and Hayley, who he met in person for the very first time this week, performed their chart-topping single “Airplanes” together for the first time last night and Bruno Mars helped open the performance with he and Bobby Ray’s #1 single “Nothin’ on You.”

Rapper B.o.B has always had a taste for a hustler’s mentality.

On a recent episode of MTV‘s “When I Was 17″, B.o.B reflects on his candy bar pushing days in high school.

“I had a hustler mentality. One day, I was looking at the vending machine in my high school cafeteria, and I remember thinking, ‘I can do better than that vending machine. So, I went to Sam’s Club and got the industrial-size box. I got what the vending machine didn’t have, or what they always ran out of, and I would go to school [and] sell candy.”

The “Airplanes” rapper remembers at one point having a book bag full of Kit-Kats.

“You can get 36 candy bars for about $12, and those 36 candy bars would get you anywhere from $18 to $24. So, you just double your profit. I had a bookbag with no books in it — just Kit Kats.”

Rapper B.O.B. has been making some big moves lately….and it all may be really paying off for him!

The “Airplanes” rapper will be the opening act for Jay-Z and Eminem’s back-to-back concerts at Detroit’s Comerica park and the New York Yankee Stadium. Bobby’s managers T.J. Chapman and Brian Richardson confirmed the news through Twitter.

“I’m excited about heading to Detroit tomorrow for a few days. B.o.B is performing @ Tiger Stadium w/ GUESS WHO & WHO????” Chapman tweeted Tuesday night.

“New York & Detroit, B.o.B is gonna open up for @EMINEM! and @JayZ!!!” Richardson wrote on Twitter Wednesday.

The Detroit shows are supposed to go down tonight (Thurs. Sep 2) and Friday night….while the shows in New York are slated for September 13th and 14th.

With the VMAs just weeks away at this point, performers and presenters are being announced left and right!

Now, MTV has revealed that young Pop star Justin Bieber and the guitar-playing Atlanta MC B.o.B., in addition to rappers Kanye West and Drake, are due to take the stage September 12th at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, which will air live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. This will mark both Bieber and B.o.B’s first performances (JB presented at last year’s ceremony).

The Biebster shared his excitement with MTV News when it was announced that he’d be taking the stage at this year’s VMAs:

“I’m excited to be performing at the VMAs. Rapper B.o.B. headlined Perez Hilton‘s “One Night in Chicago” concert at the Hard Rock Hotel last Thursday evening (Aug 5) in Chicago, IL.

R&B singer Usher hung out with CNN anchor Don Lemon as he and his New Look Foundation hosted a “Powered by Service Day” Thursday in Atlanta.

Super model Iman helped celebrate ESSENCE Magazine’s 40th Anniversary by appearing on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange in New York City.

On the other side of the world in Tokyo, Japan, Jaden Smith and his family, including his parents Will & Jada Pinkett Smith and his little sister Willow, along with his on-screen co-star Jackie Chan, waved to the press and fans at the Japanese premiere of “The Karate Kid” at Roppongi Hills Arena.

And young Pop star Justin Bieber met up with band camp students at Seminole High School in Sanford, FL as to help announce Best Buy and the Grammy Foundation’s donation to the Seminole High music program. He even played a few tunes a capella (with the help of his guitar) for the students.

Lady Gaga wants you all to know that she’s not done breaking records. MTV has just released the nominations for this year’s Video Music Awards and Gaga leads the pack with a whopping 13 nods!

Not only is she the first person to receive that many nominations in a single VMA year, but she is the first female artist to be nominated twice in the category for “Video of the Year,” for “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” featuring Beyonce.  Upon hearing of the feat, she said:

“I’m so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history. Ironically, I’m even more proud it’s an unlucky number; 13. A long time ago the world told me and my little monsters we would never be heard, together we changed the rules.  God put me on Earth for 3 reasons: To make loud music, gay videos, and cause a damn raucous. Thank You MTV!”

Following Gaga are Eminem and Beyonce with 8 nominations. Other artists nominated are B.o.B with 5, Ke$ha with 3, and Justin Bieber with one nomination. The VMAs will air Sunday September 12th at 9 p.m.

Rapper Eminem rocked the 2010 BET Awards stage last night, along with fellow Hip-Hop artist B.o.B and R&B singer Keyshia Cole, who both opened up Em’s set with a surprise duet performance of “Airplanes (Part 2).”

As Keyshia worked the stage, B.o.B played the piano before jumping up to begin his own verse for the duet. And after that, Em came out to rap his verse before leading into his latest single “Not Afraid,” which comes from his new album Recovery (in stores now).

BET taped their annual “Rip the Runway” fashion show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this past Saturday evening (Feb 27). The show was hosted by Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj and actor Pooch Hall (from “The Game”), and featured performances from Soulja Boy, Estelle, Trina, Janelle Monae, Ludacris and Nicki, and a few others. Be on the look-out for BET’s Rip the Runway 2010 when it airs on March 15th at 10 pm.
