Barely out of divorce court from her husband Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson was seen locking lips with a new beau, “Boardwalk Empire” star Vincent Piazza in NYC on last week (Wed. Jun 15).

The new couple were spotted taking a romantic stroll in Manhattan with their arms wrapped around one another. “They were laughing and chatting. She’d stop to kiss him; she couldn’t take her eyes off him,” an alleged witness told US Weekly.

Simpson and Wentz announced their split on February 9th this year. According to reports, Wentz was not in favor of dissolving his marriage. “Going through something like this isn’t easy, but we’re friends and the most important thing is putting our son first,” Pete said of his divorce.

Looks like someone has moved on though! (Poor Pete…)

Earlier today (Mar 14), Fallout Boy frontman Pete Wentz stopped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” where the soon to be divorcee didn’t reveal too much about his pending divorce from wife Ashlee Simpson.

Instead, the tight lipped rocker expressed his great relief that his private affairs with his wife have managed to stay out of the headlines as of late thanks in part to the planet’s most infamous warlock….Charlie Sheen!

“It’s like the one time on earth I’m like, ‘Thank God Charlie Sheen exists!’” the Fall Out Boy bass player told Seacrest.

Back in February, Ashlee filed for divorce from Pete in L.A. County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences,” requesting joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their son Bronx, as well as spousal and child support.

Speaking on the touchy breakup, Wentz had this to say:

“Ashlee’s been my best friend for five years, she’s the mother of my child, I have nothing but love and respect for her. Going through something like this isn’t easy, but we’re friends and we put our son first.”

Poor Pete. It’s clear this poor sap is still in love with his soon to be ex-wife, just like it’s clear his soon to be ex-wife is now giving all her “love and respect” to this guy.

Pete Wentz…..definitely not “winning.”

Is Ashlee Simpson trying to pull a fast one on Pete Wentz?

The 25 year-old singer was recently spotted out in L.A. shopping with rocker Craig Owens, who just so happens to be one of her future ex-hubby’s friends. The two at one point were even seen hugged up and sharing a quick kiss on the lips. But a close source to the pair says that they’re only friends. (Yeah right!)

“Ashlee and Craig are longtime friends. They have spent some time together, and he is comforting her throughout this difficult time,”  the source said.

Something about this has “Oh, hell no” written all over it….especially since Pete has played a big role in Craig’s music career and even signed him to his Decaydance record label. So who in their right mind would be parading around with their boss’ soon-to-be ex-wife? A complete dumbass! But the real question is…what does Pete Wentz have to say about all this?

“Pete did a lot for this guy. Craig was in another band and got kicked out. Pete found Craig, built a band around him and signed him. He’s shocked at how this guy is repaying him,” another source revealed.

We would be shocked too…and without being able to help ourselves would probably give Mr. Owens a few punches to the chin and send him about his bizness!!!

Looks like the once-cordial breakup between Ashlee Simpson and her soon to be ex-husband Pete Wentz is  about to take a turn for the worst, and their infant son Bronx is smack dab in the middle of it!

On Tuesday (Mar 8), Wentz filed papers with a Los Angeles court seeking joint primary and legal custody of his 2-year old son with his estranged wife Ashlee Simpson.

According to the docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Wentz also wants each party to pay for their own legal fees even though his soon to be ex-wife has already asked the court to make Pete foot the bill for both sides.

Not only does she want him to fork over the baby, but she wants him to fork over the money as well? SMH….only in America.

“They just had a meal together with their son. They’re both focused on making this transition as easy as possible for him,” a source told PEOPLE magazine.

Good to know these two can put their differences aside for their child…..wonder if there’s any room for reconciliation??

Another failed marriage…

Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from her hubby rocker Pete Wentz. TMZ reports that Simpson cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

In the documents filed, she’s asking for joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their two-year-old son Bronx. Ashlee is also asking for spousal and child support. No prenup was ever set in stone.

“After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the couple said in a joint-statement. “We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives.”

Ashlee and Pete wed in May 2008 in an intimate ceremony in their family home.

Married couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were snapped coming out of Hollywood restaurant Beso last Wednesday (Dec 15).

The two held hands and smiled for the photographers outside as they left. Ashley’s outfit was cute and Pete wore his usual stretchy hat and hoodie, sans eyeliner, though.

Well actually her husband Pete Wentz does…but it’s all the same. On Tuesday (Oct 12), Pete tweeted a pic of Ashlee’s new pixie hair cut and blonde hair color. This isn’t the first time the younger sister of Jessica Simpson has changed her hair…and has also been a brunette and redhead in the past.

After posting the pic, Pete also tweeted:

BEYONCE’S NEXT ALBUM MIGHT BE HER LAST » Word on the sidewalk, street, highway, bridge, and everything in between, is that Beyonce plans to hang it up after she releases this next album. Now, if you’ve been following Beyonce, you’ll know that over the past decade of her music career, she’s stated several times that she plans on retiring before she turns 30. But she’s also said that she’d be taking a few breaks in between that time, but we all know that didn’t happen.

But her cousin Angelica Knowles (not to be confused with her coustin/stylist Angela Beyince) has spilled the beans to the media. According to Angelica, Beyonce plans to spend her days scouting talent for Jay-Z’s upcoming label, The Carter Music Group. She’ll also see that as the perfect time to make some babies and cause 9 months of ruckus online. Y’all know how it is when it comes to Jayonce!

I just don’t see Beyonce retiring any time soon. Sure she’s had several albums with Destiny’s Child, but she’s only done 2 albums so far, and 1 is currently in the making. I don’t see her calling it quits with just 3 solo albums under her belt. Besides, she loves what she does way too much!

AKON ONLY SPENT A COUPLE OF MONTHS BEHIND BARS » Liar, liar! Pants on fire! Akon just got caught in a lie and just about every blog and news outlet online is calling his ass out on it. I’m sure you all remember “Locked Up,” the song that made his career. Well according to The Smoking Gun, the song was just a fabricated story put to a catchy beat that was supposed to build up Akon’s “street cred.” Apparently the entire album, “Konvicted,” is the same way.

Akon claims that he was once the kingpin of a car theft operation and that he spent close to 5 years in prison after being snitched on. FALSE! – says TSG. Akon did spend time in a Georgia prison, but it was only for a few months. And he wasn’t even arrested for being a ringleader of a car theft operation or because he was snithced on. Home boy was pulled over for driving a BMW that was previously stolen by someone else. A misdemeanor, at best, if I’m not mistaken.

And you know how Akon claims that he wrote “Locked Up” in prison? That’s not true either! Obviously, neither Akon’s publicist nor manager has responded to these recent findings. Right now they’re cooking up another lie to tell. Give them some time.

TYLER PERRY BEEFS UP SECURITY DUE TO STALKER » With fame comes fortune. And along with that fame and fortune, you’ll probably have some problems. The Notorious B.I.G. said it best! “Mo Money Mo Problems.” And when it comes to actor/writer Tyler Perry, he knows all about those problems! According to Tyler, he has a stalker and has recently had to up his security.

“I’m trying to be careful how I say this without inciting this person, but I have a stalker,” he begins in a letter to his fans. “This person sends several hundred emails a day to my office and has planned our wedding and bought rings and such. She has showed up at my house several times. What’s crazy is I’ve never met this woman nor have I even responded to her emails [you just did! -- Dustin]. I’ve had to increase the guards at my house as well as travel with body guards and I hate that. I hate to have big guys following me around.”

FAMILY FRIEND CONFIRMS ASHLEE SIMPSON’S PREGNANCY » A source close to Ashlee Simpson revealed to People that the singer is pregnant and plans to get married next month at a private residence in Southern California. Simpson is currently engaged to Pete Wentz, the bass player for rock group Fall Out Boy.

But just earlier this week, Pete denied the pregnancy rumor, denouncing it as a “witch hunt.”

“There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover … I mean really, this is crazy … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and happy about it.”

Nicole Scherzinger – ‘Happily Never After’ – page link - Irony. This is said to be Nicole Scherzinger’s 4th single from her yet-to-be-release album Her Name Is Nicole (Interscope). It seems as though Scherzinger’s people are ‘grasping at straws hits’ now, and I don’t blame them, seeing how subpar all of her previous singles have done on the charts, as opposed to Scherzinger’s moderate success with the PCD. Well, I suppose I’ll add my commentary on the song now . . . I find it kind of blah, or boring, the lyrics and production are definitely on point (courtesy of Ne-Yo) but it’s lacking something to me.

Ashlee Simpson ft. Tom Higgens – ‘Little Miss Obsessive’ – page link – This is said to be Ashlee Simpson’s second single from the album Bittersweet Word (Geffen) set to be released mid-Spring 2008. ‘Little Miss Obsessive’ features Plain White Tees’ Tom Higgens. The single, much less with ‘Outta My Head’, has more of the mid-tempo pop rock sound Simpson is most famous for. I like ‘Outta Myy Head’, it’s catchy, but so not her sound. Though she did say it was a ‘fun’ little song that was ‘personal’. Me no likey. I want that ‘Little Miss Obsessive’ Ashlee Simpson: pop rock.

So, Ashlee Simpson premiered her new song, “Outta My Head,” produced by Timbaland on AOL Music recently (click the link below to here it). I really don’t know about this as a first single, I wasn’t feelin’ it, it might grow on me, though. I really wish she would’ve just released “I Get Away with It” becos that song’s wicked to me but only time will tell – I may like “Outta My Head” more once I hear the actual full to the song (which will be available for download exclusively on iTunes December 11).
