New dad Jay-Z partied in style as he made his first public appearance since the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter Wednesday night (Jan 18) at the relaunch of his 40/40 nightclub in New York City.

Of course his wife (and new mom) Beyonce stayed at home with their newborn daughter, but there were plenty of other celebs who showed up to party, including Swizz Beatz, Ashanti, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles, producer Rico Love, supermodel Selita Ebanks, filmmaker Spike Lee, record executive Steve Stoute, and many others.

Even Warren Buffett — the THIRD RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD worth around $50 billion — partied with Jay-Z and his industry friends, and was even spotted throwing up the “Roc” sign. (That sh*t cray!)

According to various reports, Jay-Z laid on a champagne tower made of 350 handmade gold Armand de Brignac bottles that stretched from floor to ceiling, and was topped with a stork carrying a baby.

“All that preparation must have been thirsty work – judging from the champagne tower Jay laid on. Nothing like that has ever been created before,” an anonymous source said. “It was a bit [over the top] but he’s [crazy] about his daughter. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her. You’d expect nothing less from the richest man in rap.”

Man of the moment and Odd Future member Frank Ocean stooped by Hot 97 to chat it up with radio host Angie Martinez on Wednesday.

During the interview, he dished on his band member Tyler the Creator’s cyber beefs, working with Kanye and Jay Z on the now platinum “Watch the Throne” project, his album release and meeting a woman that most men would love to met, Beyonce.

On band mate Tyler the Creator:
“I definitely won’t go on the record and say that I latch on to every beef or confrontation or scuffle that Tyler gets into, maybe in the streets, but not in the matrix or the Internet. I can’t keep up with that…”

On working with Kanye & Jay Z on WTT:
“I rarely do collabs, so that’s just one of the ones you absolutely do. It’s like a no-brainer. I didn’t really think about any of it. The last thing on my mind was working with artists who I’ve held in high esteem for years. In the initial walk in… he wasn’t saying anything and I was nervous, but as soon as we started talking, he’s super cool,” Ocean told Hot 97. “I think he was trying to make me nervous, make me sweat. It seemed a little intentional but it was all good. We were laughing within minutes. I worked with Jay on his solo album before I did the Watch the Throne sessions. The second time I went it was Barry Weiss, Jay, Beyoncé, Kanye, couple other people, it was a pretty heavy room.”

On if he checked Beyonce out just a little bit:
“I said hello and greeted her as I greeted everyone else.”

On when his album will be dropping:
“I have no idea. I just want to make sure the next thing is right and I don’t want to go on the record and say that it’s coming out on some phantom date that never appears.”

On if he’s touring with Kanye and Jay-Z for their “Watch the Throne” tour:
“It’s not up to me, but I would love to. I think that’s all I’m gonna say about that.”

Jay-Z has denied allegations claiming he and Yeezy fell out over productions costs for their “Watch The Throne” tour.

“Jay-Z can’t deal with Kanye,” an alleged insider told Page Six. “Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blowout show. He doesn’t care about costs. He has a lot less to gain from the shows.”

“Jay-Z is fed up with West’s antics,” another anonymous source allegedly revealed to the gossip rag. “He doesn’t even want to be around him.”

So in an effort to set the record straight and let the world know that there is no beef, Hov stopped by Hot 97 yesterday for an impromptu interview with radio personality Angie Martinez.

“Kanye is my brother,” the rapper told Martinez. “Yes, we get on each other’s nerves, but that’s part of pushing each other. We push each other … the people who have a problem with Kanye or myself are complacent in life. They don’t like to push. They don’t want to be greater and we’re pushing each other to be great. But that’s in the studio. I have so much respect for him, I wouldn’t put my hands on him. Never, no way.”

Before Kanye premiered his “Runaway” film to the world Saturday night, the rapper hosted a screening for the 35-minute mini-movie Thursday night (Oct 21) in New York City. And folks like model Selita Ebanks (who stars alongside Kanye in the short film), Kanye’s BFF Swizz Beatz, R&B singer Chrisette Michele and more all came through to watch.

In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, Yeezy stated that Nicki Minaj is one of the scariest artists in the game right now….and that she has the potential to be the #2 rapper of all time (next to Eminem). Now that’s a big compliment! Kanye also accidentally spilled the beans on Nicki being a feature on his still untitled upcoming album (due in stores this November). Check out the audio clip below…..

Today is a big day for NBA basketball star Carmelo Anthony and his fiancee, TV personality Lala Vazquez. Anthony and Vazquez have been engaged since Christmas Day 2005, and are set to finally tie the knot tonight in New York City in front of their families and closest friends. The pair, who are mother and father to a 3-year-old son named Kiyan, have also been documenting the festivities and the planning that surrounded the wedding for an upcoming VH1 reality show to air in September.

Meanwhile, Lala’s BFF Kim Kardashian has been keeping her 4 million+ followers on Twitter abreast of the pre-wedding celebrations. Yesterday (Fri. Jul 9), the reality TV start tweeted pics of she and her friends, including singer Ciara, former reality TV star Brittny Gastineau, Fabolous, Trina, Kenyon Martin of the Denver Nuggets, and more as they joined Lala and Carmelo for a pre-wedding bash on a private yacht in the New York Harbor.

Celebrities showed up to Harlem Lanes in New York City Tuesday night (Jan 19) to raise funds for the relief efforts over in the troubled country of Haiti.

Folks like Angie Martinez, DJ Enuff, Russell Simmons, Ja Rule and more all made use of their bowling skills at the “Strike Out the Violence” celebrity bowling event for New York Peace Week. 100% of the proceeds from the event went straight to Wyclef Jean‘s yele Haiti Foundation and Doctors Without Borders. As most of you know by know, rumors have been circulating the Internet and about our boy Jay-Z possibly being a Devil worshiper and having ties to a secret cult called the “Illuminati.” Jay-Z has tried to clear rumors before regarding the situation in the past, but has always been really vague in his responses leaving people to believe that they rumors could possibly be true. Well Hov spoke with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 today to once again further dispel talk of his personal beliefs. This time he was a bit more specific…

“I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sec or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s like ignorant to even say, and umm… I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me”

I can’t even get in a golf club in Palm Springs. I’m from Marcy Projects. Just think about that? People that control the world?

Do you believe that those sort of organizations exist?
I think there are cliques of friends that control things. I don’t if there is a devil worshiping sect. That’s a little Tom hanks. I believe there are cliques of people that control the world…but that’s just natural process. I’m sure Obama has his people and everything is good but as far as how far people are taking it…

So you don’t intentionally do this to put people in a frenzy?
I’m an entertainer at the end of the day. Maybe I’ll push your buttons but you know…

Honestly we’ve never believed that those devil worshiping rumors were true. Now, do you think that we can all finally put this to bed? Or not?
