The stars were out last night on the red carpet of the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards!

Held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and hosted by Jane Lynch, the 2011 Emmys featured red carpet appearances from tons of celebs, including actresses Taraji P. Henson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kerry Washington, Lea Michele and Amber Riley from “Glee,” rappers/actors Common and LL Cool J, supermodel Heidi Klum and her husband Seal, TV personalities Kelly Osbourne and Paula Abdul, actor Laurence Fishburne and plenty others.

Nicki Minaj teamed up with comedy trio The Lonely Island for a hilarious SNL Digital Short that shows off a Peeping Tom-like new dance called the “Creep.” In the skit, the Young Money rapper plays a nerdy schoolgirl who just loves to spy on people and show up at the most inopportune times, like popping up in a boys locker room or randomly appearing at someone’s funeral.

It was a battle of the “bergs” on this weekend’s episode of “Saturday Night Live!”

Jesse Eisenberg, star of the Oscar nominated film “The Social Network,” and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg shook hands and accepted each other’s friend requests over the weekend on Saturday Night Live during (host) Eisenberg’s opening monologue. What started out as a completely “awk-ward” moment (as noted by SNL cast member Andy Samberg) ended up turning into a one-of-a-kind friendship!

The 2010 ESPY Awards were held yesterday (Wed. Jul 14) in Los Angeles, CA. And celebs like Amber Rose, Mario (who brought along his new girlfriend Dez), Terrell Owens, Chris Bosh, Kenyon Martin, Hank Baskett & Kendra Wilkinson, Zac Efron and more all walked the red carpet before making their way into the Nokia Theater L.A. Live for the ESPYs, which, hosted by sports network ESPN, honors the best athletes and teams in the world of sports. Reggie Bush also attended the Espys Wednesday evening, but chose not to arrive to the show with his rumored new girlfriend Amber Rose, who made her presence known on the red carpet with a bright yellow dress.

The 2010 Espys also featured a performance from singer Janelle Monae, who also participated in a funny skit with actor/comedian Will Ferrell (equipped with one of those loud, annoying vuvuzelas). R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys and retired NBA player Charles Barkley kicked off the 2010 season of NBC’s Saturday Night Live over the weekend. In addition to having some fun with a hilarious “booty call” skit, Keys took to the stage as the musical guest and performed her most recent singles from her new album, The Element of Freedom (in stores now).

Barkley, the show’s host, was caught on camera rocking a long, curly wig and playing the piano (as if he were A. Keys) during rehearsals for the live show. Rapper Kanye West offered Joe Jackson a sip from his bottle of Henny before last night’s VMAs. The bottle apparently made its way around the audience because Pete Wentz was also spotted drinking straight from the community bottle. Looks like Kanye and Amber were trying to get everybody a little loose!

Kid Cudi and Wale performed as a part of the official house band during commercial breaks/intermissions.

Lady Gaga accepted her award for “Best New Artist” from a shocked Eminem. We would love to know what he was thinking when he saw her in that outfit!
