And here we thought steroids were just for athletes! Some of music’s biggest names like Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean came up in connection with an Albany, New York based steroid investigation, The Times Union of Albany reported. They even named playwright/director Tyler Perry!

Citing unidentified sources, the report alleged that the above-mentioned music stars, along with award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry, may have received or used performance-enhancing drugs. Grammy-winning singer Blige blasted the report when reached for comment by the New York Daily News. “Mary J. Blige has never taken any performance-enhancing illegal steroids,” the singer’s spokeswoman Karynne Tencer told the News. Ken Sunshine, a spokesman for Perry, declined to comment to the Associated Press.

Law-enforcement officials have said evidence does not indicate the celebrities broke the law. For now, at least, officials are focusing on the doctors, pharmacists and clinics providing the drugs. Albany District Attorney David Soares launched his investigation into steroid trafficking last year. Soares has declined to comment on or confirm the identities of the stars who came up in the probe. His multistate investigation has focused on Signature Pharmacy of Orlando, Fla. So far, 10 defendants have pleaded guilty and some professional athletes have been linked to the probe in news reports.

Records shared with the Times Union and information from several cooperating witnesses on Long Island indicate the celebrities received prescribed human growth hormone or steroids. In some cases, aliases were used for their delivery. Former Sen. George Mitchell released his report last month on performance-enhancing drugs in baseball. Hearings are set to begin this month in Congress on the Mitchell report.

Well … I’ll be damned! The outcome of this will be quite interesting.

2007 is coming to a close, and we here at Think2wice thought it would be the perfect time to highlight some of the greatest moments, people, etc. of the past year! First up, is “Favorite Couples.” And you guessed it, Jay-Z and Beyonce are perched at the top of this list! These two cause a stir in the gossip blogs whenever their names are mentioned. It’s gotten to the point where we’ve given them one name … Jayonce. Despite both of their busy schedules, Jayonce still finds the time to spend time with each other, whether it be a sporting event, a week-long vacation, or just having dinner at one of NYC’s top restaurants. Recently, rumors sparked of the two being married after people spotted matching tattoos on their ring fingers (IV - “FOURever” ??), but those rumors were immediately shot down by one of Jay-Z’s reps. Who knows … they probably are married! Hell, didn’t Janet keep her marriage to that guy from the public for like 10 or more years? Anyhow, hate it or love it, Beyonce and Jay-Z are with each other for the long run, as long as they keep their relationship as private as it has been for the past 4 years. CONTINUE READING

Well it’s been quite a ride for pop sensation Justin Timberlake from the release of his sophomore effort FutureSex/LoveSounds (Jive/Zomba) last year to the FutureSex/LoveShow world tour he embarked on earlier this year (and apparently continuing through to November 26). Timberlake is set to release the FutureSex/LoveSounds Deluxe Edition (audio/DVD), with added material, including a subtle duet with mega star singer Beyoncé Knowles. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but hasn’t it been like 2 months since Graduation and that other album released? Why the hell is 50 still on this shit? Lol. I rarely ever hear Kanye talking about it, and it seems as though 50 has a lame excuse everytime he’s asked about his alleged retirement. “No, I’m not retiring,” he told Ben Widdicombe of the New York Dailly News. I’m sure y’all remember when he said he’s going to retire if Kanye West beats him in album sales. “[My album] was No. 1 internationally the week it came out,” he said at Philippe, a club in New York. “It was the No. 1 European album! It’s all about the numbers at the end of the day.”

Technically he never did say which region of the world, but c’mon now! I don’t believe you … YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE! I know he has an excuse 100x better than that. Keep trying fiddy, you might get it right one day!

Wow, is it really that serious? Shitty Cent let it be known at the Powerhouse concert Saturday night in Philadelphia that his panties were still in a bunch. Afterall, Kanye West did shit on him in CD sales. Graduation is already 2x platinum. Anyhow, T.I. was supposed to be in the line-up of performers that night, but we all know the reason why he wasn’t able to show up. So 50 Cent came out instead and dissed Kanye. According to several concert goers, he threw on some white sunglasses, tightened his shirt, and danced to “Stronger,” I guess to imitate Kanye. He then proceeded to say: “Now I’m gon ask y’all motha fuckas one mo’ time! Am I number one?!” Hell no yo bitch ass ain’t number one! Lol…Why don’t you just take a L for once and sit your big gorilla lookin’ ass down?!
