Posts about 50 Cent

If you’re an Aussie and you wanted to celeb-watch, then today would have been the perfect day! Sydney International Airport in Sydney, Australia was apparently the landing spot for rappers Wyclef Jean, Eve, and 50 Cent. They all are in the “down under” for the 2008 MTV Australia Awards, which will go down this Saturday (Apr. 26th).

50 CENT REPSONDS TO ALICIA KEYS‘ COMMENTS ABOUT “GANGSTA RAP” »

“I don’t like Alicia Keys no more…the same reason why I said that I don’t like Oprah Winfrey. I’m prejudiced. I don’t like people who don’t like me. If you don’t like the content that I write because of my experiences; I am being who I am when writing it. I fall into that ‘label’ as far as you considering artists creating gangsta music.

I don’t think that [her] classical shit is cool. I don’t give a fuck if you can classically play the piano. I haven’t been classically trained, because my upbringing, nobody put me in front of a piano at that time…I could fucking care less about the shit. So she don’t like the music that embodies the harsh realities because they’re not her realities. She hasn’t been subjected to the same things.”

According to allhiphop.com, Young Buck has officially bumped from G-Unit:

“50 Cent revealed today that the Tennessee rapper was no longer in G-Unit the group, but would still record for the label.

‘You can look at it and see that’s Game [former G-Unit rapper] all the way. I was giving him a chance, giving him the benefit of the doubt [to remain with the group]. You can take this as an official notice right here – pretty much you can say: Young Buck is no longer in the group G-Unit, but signed to G-Unit [Records] as a solo artist’, 50 Cent told DJ Envy, a co-host on the Hot 97 Morning Show with Miss Jones.”

Soon 50 will only be only member of G-Unit! You think I kid? You will see!

Remember this? Well now that Barack Obama looks like he’s gonna be the front-runner for the Democratic party in the November elections, 50 Cent has changed his mind on who he’s rooting for. Go figure. Well, of course that’s not the reason he mentioned. He says “because he heard Barack Speak.” Whatever homie…

During a recent interview with MTV at his Connecticut mansion, 50 Cent told reporters that he has switched from supporting Hillary Clinton for president to backing Barack Obama after hearing his speech on race. “I heard Obama speak,” said the rapper. “He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-’Malcolm X,’ and I swear to God, I’m like, ‘Yo, Obama!’” He threw his fist in the air. “I’m Obama to the end now, baby!” But hold on, 50 also admitted that he’s become bored with the overall race for the White House.

“To be honest, I haven’t been following that anymore. I lost my interest,” he said. “I listened to some of the debate and things that they were saying, and I just got lost in everything that was going on. … Don’t look for my vote, for me to determine nothing on that. Just say, ‘50 Cent, he don’t know, so don’t ask Fiddy.’

“I just think there’s people that might not be ready for an African-American president,” he continued. “It’ll be an issue, believe it or not.” [ VIA EUR WEB » ]

I’m not gonna bash shitty cent though. He’s entitled to his own opinion, and he has a right to change it whenever the hell he wants. It’s just strange how all of a sudden he’s all, “Eff Hillary, I’m for Barack now!” just cause he heard one speech. But hey, who am I to judge?

Above is the official trailer for the new movie, Righteous Kill, which stars 50 Cent, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. The movie is slated for a September 12th 2008 release!

50 Cent and Robert De Niro both share the cover of the special double-cover edition of the March 2008 issue of Vibe Magazine. The two of them are co-stars in a new movie, “Righteous Kill,” which is set to hit theaters this April! If you haven’t seen the trailer for the movie yet, Mike posted it about a month ago.

50 Cent Defends Obama Comment

Remember the video I posted last week of 50 Cent publicly endorsing Hillary Clinton, and saying that he’s afraid that Obama might be assassinated if elected as the next president of this country? Now he’s defending that statement via youtube and Thisis50. He also responds to Bill O’Reilly calling him a “pinhead.”

Well, that took a total of 3 days! A few days ago, when I posted about him shutting Paris Hilton down and making her cry at her own party, I allowed him to get on my good side. Now, I’m seeing this video of him talking to Fox about which candidate (Obama or Clinton) he’s endorsing. Now, before I continue, let me clarify. When it comes to endorsing/supporting a president, I can’t knock anyone for not going for who I’m going for. Because afterall, we all go for different people, for different reasons, when it comes to choosing who you want to be president. So the fact that he’s going for HIllary Clinton doesn’t phase me. It’s what he said about why he’s not going for Barack Obama.

I just think she can do a good job. Ain’t nothing bad about Obama, in my eyes either, but I just think Hillary would be my choice. And I’m not sure if America’s ready for a black president. I think they might kill him.

Him going for Hillary Clinton isn’t why he’s back on my bad side. His blatant ignorance is why he’s on my bad side. Why would you say some bullshit like that to a reporter? Something that you KNOW is going to be on national television. I just don’t get it… Pinhead, indeed! As an African American, am I the only one embarrassed by that statement?

As much as I hate shitty cent, he just earned a spot on my good side! Word on the sidewalk is that he dogged Paris Hilton at her own party! And guess what else? He made her cry! Lmfao. Paris Hilton hosted the 944 Magazine Pre-Super Bowl party in Scottsdale, Arizona this past Thursday, and while 50 Cent was performing, he shoutted her out. Apparently Paris Hilton thought she was cool, and took the “shout-out” as him telling her to come on stage and dance with him, and 50 Cent just wasn’t having it. According to Page Six, the gutter coochie socialite started dancing close to the stage, and actually got on stage with fifty, who in turn told her to “Get the fuck off the stage!” Onlookers tell the popular gossip column that the outburst from Curtis made Paris break down in tears, which was captured on film by photographers at the event. I’m starting to think Mr. Jackson doesn’t take too kindly to white girls. Didn’t he push one of the girls on America’s Next Top Model into a pool at a party?

UPDATE: Check out a video that was posted on youtube of 50 telling Paris to “get the fuck off the stage” after the cut! CONTINUE READING
