Diddy, 50 Cent & Common were visitors of TRL Studios yesterday. 50 Cent was promoting his new album and film, Before I Self Destruct; the album will be in stores December 16th. Common was also there on a promo tour for his upcoming album, Universal Mind Control, due in stores December 9th. Diddy was there in supporting and rejoicing the fact the Barack Obama has been elected the 44th first African American President. Check out the rest the photos after the jump.
In a matter of less than 5 minutes (seriously) a NY judge granted rapper 50 Cent one weekend visit a month with his 12-year-old son, Marquise, in addition to half of his spring and winter breaks and a full month in the summer. People magazine says that 50 Cent (real name: Curtis Jackson) and his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Shaniqua Tompkins, avoided direct eye contact in the court room at the hearing.
“50 is pleased this has been settled and looks forward to spending some quality time with his son,” the rapper’s attorney Brett Kimmel tells PEOPLE.
“We came to an agreement,” Tompkins told PEOPLE after the hearing. “Despite my feelings for his father, I want Marquise and his father to have a healthy relationship. That’s what that time is for.”

If you haven’t heard yet, Katt Williams was nixed from his hosting duties, and T-Pain filled in for the comedian at the last minute. BET made up some bogus story talking about how Katt bet T-Pain he couldn’t beat him in a break dance battle, and how Katt’s hosting duties were up for grabs to whoever won. It later came to light that Williams had been arrested on the morning of the show. Sound familiar, anyone? *Cough* T.I. *cough* got arrested *cough* last year *cough* and he was *cough* supposed to perform. I’m just saying…

NAOMI WANTS KIDS & STARTS COMMUNITY SERVICE: Supermodel Naomi Campbell reportedly had surgery earlier this year to remove what the 38-year-old model called “a small cyst.”
“They thought it was a cyst,” she explained, according to Britain’s Press Association. “When they opened it up they realized it was more.”
The surgery was a success, and now that Naomi is in perfect health, she has plans on starting a family very soon. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m sure Naomi’s a good person and there’s a chance that she could be a really good mom. BUT! I believe there are people on this earth (women, of course) who should not be allowed to re-produce and bring children into the world. And in my humble opinion, Naomi Campbell is at the top of that list. Her temper just doesn’t cut it with me. Say her kid stays out a few minutes past curfew. How do you think Naomi’s gonna punish him/her? Homegirl went upside her maid’s head with a blackberry just for wearing her pants. Imagine what she’d do to her own kid! I shudder at the thought…
PHOTO: GETTY IMAGES According to MTV, 50 Cent filed a lawsuit against Taco Bell Corp. for making him an unauthorized spokesman for a recent ad campaign the restaurant chain was promoting. 50 and his defense attorneys filed a lawsuit for “unjust promotion”. Supposedly the company addressed a letter to 50 asking him to change his stage name from “50 Cent” to either “79, 89 or 99 Cent”. In the letter, this is what the company proposed:
“We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change. We encourage you to ‘Think Outside the Bun’ and hope you accept our offer.”
Kanye West was spotted walking around in NYC with a hoodie on. He may not have time to write his own blog, according to a few sources, but I know he has time to hit up weather.com and know that the temperature up there has been in the 90’s all week lol. NEW YORK // MONDAY, JUNE 30TH 2008 » G-Unit stopped by MTV’s TRL yesterday to promote their album, T.O.S. (Terminate On Site) which is in stores now today on iTunes. Not sure if G-Unit will reconcile their differences with Young Buck but I know they now out casted him on the album as well as a featured artist (lol). Yung Berg also dropped by to spot his own album, Look What You Made Me, coming out August 12th.

In a video posted exclusively on World Star Hip Hop, you can hear former G-Unit member Young Buck bawling over the phone in a conversation with 50 Cent. Shitty Cent straight played Buck’s ass by leaking this to the internet. That’s so dirty, lol!
Basically, Buck is begging 50 for forgiveness and asking to be a part of the team once again, because apparently the distressed rapper is broke and owes some money to some people. Bad move, homie … bad move. Ever heard of the saying, “Never let ‘em see you sweat?” Not only did you let them see you sweat, you let them hear you cry! 50 Cent and Tony Yayo are laughing their ass off as we speak. Lloyd Banks probably isn’t saying shit right now because deep down … he knows he’s next.
Rapper T.I. can now add a MTV Reality Series to his Resume. According to Drewreports.com T.I. has signed on with MTV to film a reality show with eight-episodes following him as he performs more than 1,000 hours of community service before serving his one-year prison sentence sometime next spring. The untitled series has already filmed T.I.’s release from house arrest. Shooting for the show will continue this summer, leading up to his return to jail in early 2009.
