There has been all kinds of chatter about the current state of the relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Well the mega couple was spotted cakin’ in a private luxury box at Sunday’s (Feb 7) Super Bowl putting to rest any rumors that there’s trouble in paradise.

Brad, Angelina and their 8-year-old son Maddox Jolie-Pitt were in town to show support for the New Orleans Saints. Check out little Maddox rocking jersey #9 (Quarterback Drew Brees’ number).  And in case you didn’t know, the couple and their family stayed right in the heart of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina back in 2005, so we’re sure they have some sort of emotional attachment to the team.

A congratulations are definitely in order for Reggie Bush and the New Orleans Saints for winning the 2010 Super Bowl!!! This is definitely a good look for New Orleans and an even better look for the Saints for making their first trip to the Super Bowl count (and having a 14 point victory over the team everyone thought had this in the bag).

We told you guys yesterday about radio shock jock Howard Stern being the top prospect to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol. And until now, Stern has said very little about the numerous reports saying that he was being pursued by Fox to replace Simon.

Monday morning (Feb 8), the King of Radio went on his hit XM/Sirius radio show, The Howard Stern Show, and talked about the Idol chatter for literally 2 hours plus making a complete joke of the whole situation and the show itself by calling it a “karaoke contest.” He also attacked Idol judges Randy Jackson and Ellen Degeneres, and said that the show’s host Ryan Seacrest would quit if he took over Idol. Simply hilarious in our opinion.

Based on how Howard Stern joked on the situation, we doubt that he has any plans of taking over this show, but who knows! For all we know this could be a publicity stunt between him and Fox. And even though Howard made a joke of the rumors, he never flat out denied that he had been approached by the producers of Idol nor did mention that he declined any offers.

We will keep you posted as more details unfold. Until then, read on for some of what Stern said on the show.

“I’ll do that for $100 million.” Stern said. “For $100 million a year, to judge a karaoke contest? Ok. Why not? It might be possible. We’ll see,” added Stern. “Name a person who could bring more excitement to that show than me. If I was the judge on ‘American Idol,’ looks would play into the judging, too,” Stern said.  I would be honest with them. I would say, ‘Look at you. You’re out of shape, go work out.’ It would be sort of like ‘The Biggest Loser’ and ‘American Idol’ combined. And believe me, I’ll find some Kelly Clarksons out there,” Stern continued. “First of all, I would have straightened out that Adam Lambert, number one. That’s why his career tanked — the kid had more publicity than anyone  and he f—ed up. And Number 2, I wouldn’t even put through that good looking kid who won, that Kris Allen. He never would have even been through.”

With the help of Volkswagen, Maxim Magazine hosted a pre-Super Bowl party in Miami, FL Saturday night (Feb 6) at The Raleigh that drew in celebrities from all over.

Folks like Bow Wow, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J and more came through to party it up the day before the Super Bowl and add their signature to the VW GTI parked on the red carpet. With each signature, Volkswagen will make a donation to Doctors Without Borders.

Singer/songwriter Justin Timberlake was awarded the “Hasty Pudding Pot Man of the Year” award at Hard University Friday (Feb 5) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Timberlake was roasted during a performance from the Hasty Pudding Club theatricals, the oldest college theatrical group in the country.

Is Tiger Woods done chasing the cat? Well that just might be the case now that Tiger Woods has finally put an end to his rehab stint in Mississippi.

According to Radar Online, Tiger’s wife Elin flew to Mississippi to pick up Tiger from the Gentle Path rehab center so that they could fly home together so that Tiger could see his two children, who he hadn’t seen in six weeks. The couple’s daughter Sam is two-year-old and their son Charlie turns one today.

In an effort to try and work together to save their marriage, Elin took part in Tiger’s therapy at the rehab center and eventually dropped her divorce lawyer, though she is still not wearing her wedding ring.

Tiger received intensive therapy in Gentle Path, known as a leading sex addiction clinic. Several sources have said he does not acknowledge being a sex addict but he does know that he has a behavioral problem and he agreed to treatment because he wants his life back. Tiger has not commented publicly about the situation other than to admit infidelity.

Meanwhile, Tiger’s caddie Steve Williams has denied claims that Woods will make his big return to pro golf as early as next week at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Tucson, Arizona.

“The stories stating Tiger will return at the matchplay have no truth to them,” The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Williams as saying.

Tiger, his wife Elin and their two children Sam and Charlie are currently in Orlando.

So is Tiger Woods really done chasing the cat? Guess we’ll just have to and see! Let’s just hope that this streak of random women public making claims of being one of Tiger’s jump offs has come to an end. Mr. Woods can’t handle ANY more negative press at this point…

Well it looks like The Game has reconnected with Dr. Dre and Aftermath after several years of bad blood. The rapper made the official announcement recently via his Twitter page. Apparently, The Game has been in the studio collaborating with Dr. Dre on several projects including The Detox and his upcoming album R.E.D. which is expected to be released sometime this year.

The big question is what does 50 Cent think about this? Keep in mind that Dr. Dre and 50 Cent are still strongly linked via Aftermath/G-Unit. Could The Game’s reunion with Dr. Dre lead to some beef between Dr. Dre and 50 Cent? Knowing that 50 Cent is in desperate need of something to re-boost his music career after a hugely failed album, this doesn’t sound too far fetched does it? LOL…

Joining in on the festivities for Super Bowl XLIV, ESPN Magazine hosted an event at the Fontainebleau Miami Friday (Feb 5) that drew in names like Nelly, Venus Williams, Terrell Owens, Jesse McCartney and more.

A large number of celebrities took part in helping BET raise money for Haiti relief Friday night (Feb 5) at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, FL during the BET SOS Saving Ourselves – Help for Haiti benefit concert, which was hosted by Queen Latifah, Diddy and Pharrell Williams. Radio jock Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol? It sounds funny, but according to recent reports, this could be quite possible! The NY Post’s “Page Six” gossip column is reporting that the producers of Idol are going hard in their attempt to get Howard Stern signed on to replace Simon. Apparently, Stern’s mega contract with Sirius XM is slated to come to an end very soon after years of dominating the satellite radio waves.

An insider said that producers of the hit Fox show say Stern, America’s highest-paid radio personality, is their top choice to take over from Cowell, who leaves at the end of this season. They approached the King of All Media after he repeatedly mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January and he was open to other offers. Cowell was paid $50 million a year. A source connected to “Idol” said, “It’s one of the few shows that could compete with Stern’s $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and ‘Idol’ bosses think he’d be even nastier than Simon. “They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants. ‘Idol’ will do what it takes to sign him.”

But Howard isn’t ready to make a commitment just yet, not until the money is right at least.

It seems as if everyone is jumping on Nicki Minaj’s bandwagon these days! According to MTV News, Jay-Z was so impressed with the Young Money rapper that he went out of his way to recommend her for Robin Thicke’s new single “Shakin’ It 4 Daddy.”

“It was Jay’s idea,” Thicke said of the “Shakin’ It 4 Daddy” collabo. “We were in the studio and I played him the whole album. He was like, ‘You should get Nicki Minaj on that. She’s got that voice. She’s got that swag.’ So I leaned over and was like, ‘Somebody get Nicki Minaj on the phone! Jay-Z said so!’ Next thing you know, we called Nicki. She was excited. But once we told her it was Jay-Z’s idea to get her on the track, she started screaming on the phone. She was all excited. She’s a super, super talent. I can’t wait to do a video with Nicki. There’s a power in her. It’s not just that she’s sexy and that’s the only way she can get you to like her. She’s got charm — not just sex. Some women may use sex to get what they want; others have charm. She’s got charm.”

Wow, we must admit that Nicki Minaj is most definitely doing her thing now. Like her labelmate Drake, she hasn’t even released an official album yet and she’s already the hottest female rapper in the game right now!

The Black Eyed Peas kicked off their first tour since 2006 Thursday night (Feb 4) in Atlanta at the Philips Arena. During the show, which featured an opening set from ATL’s own Ludacris, BEP’s Will.i.am said that they chose to open the tour in Atlanta because they’re what’s hot right now so what better place to kick off the tour than “Hotlanta?”

“When they told us the tour was going to start in Atlanta some of my friends were like huh? Why don’t you start in L.A. or New York?” the group’s will.i.am said at one point. “I said because the Black Eyed Peas are hot right now. It’s got to be Hotlanta!”

We were slightly off, but were knew that story about Kanye West going off on a flight attendant because he didn’t want to sit in business class was some bullsh*t hidden behind words. And now Kanye’s taken to his blog (minus the caps) saying that the rumor was “particularly ironic” and “there was absolutely no altercation in any way.” Read Yeezy’s words below:

“I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because ‘it’s on the internet.’ This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way. There’s been many a time where I’ve given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane. It’s hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I’m not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied on??? How does it make you feel??? You wanna tell everybody it’s not true right? Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it’s not the trend right now! Aww, poor Quween on the Scene!

Apparently the police didn’t take too well to the Quween on the Scene protecting country singer LeAnn Rimes from the “posarazzi” so they arrested her. LeAnn’s story is that the Quween was harassing her, but we know otherwise.

Rimes, who apparently didn’t want to be photographed, was leaving a doctor’s office in LA Thursday afternoon (Feb 4) Quween “got a little too close,” prompting nearby police to cuff the woman, who is a known guardian to celebrities who walk down her sidewalk. She feels as though it’s her job to protect the stars from the flashing lights.

For this week’s YouTube Friday, we have two sisters who have been making some splashes around the popular video-sharing site.

Born to Nigerian parents, Ivana (18) and Jessica (17) Nwokike grew up in the African country until the ages of seven and nine. Growing up, both Ivana and Jessica were surrounded by music whether it be Elton John or Michael Jackson. They both recall watching music videos and recreating the dance moves from big acts like the Spice Girls, Britney Spears and TLC back in the day, and watching tapes from the singers their mom brought to Nigeria. “We definitely grew up singing, and we don’t remember a time we weren’t trying to sing,” the ladies told Gossip On This.

Their influences include Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and the rest of the “diva” singers. But they also draw inspiration from British soul singers like Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Adele, and today’s newer artists: Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and Ne-Yo. To say that their harmonies are “on point” would be an understatement. So much that their upload views have exceeded 5.2 million. The duo has decided to take up the name VanJess and just in case you’re wondering, Ivana wears glasses and Jessica is usually on the left in their latest clips.

As part of media week for the upcoming Super Bowl XLIV football game, Queen Latifah and Carrie Underwood attended the Pregame show and National Press Conference at the Ford Lauderdale Convention Center in Florida yesterday (Thurs. Feb 4).

The singers, who will both be performing just before the Super Bowl goes down on Sunday (Feb 7), busted out and performed a rendition of General Larry Platt’s “Pants on the Ground” in front of the media at the press conference.

Underwood, a former winner of American Idol, was joking asked about the cultural significance of the song: “As a songwriter I know we all aspire to write something that is catchy and has a message. And I think the youth of America can learn a lot from Pants on the Ground. And they can pull their pants up … because it causes all kinds of back problems. I’ve seen the studies.”

The King of Pop Michael Jackson continues to break records months after his death. His concert film “This Is It” took the No. 1 spot this week in DVD sales, selling an estimated 1.2 million copies! The documentary film, released last Tuesday (Jan 26) has broken the record for first-week’s sales of a music film.

In addition, it was the No. 1 Blu-Ray seller last week. It seems everyone still has Jackson fever! And for good reason too. The film was put together from over 100 hours of backstage footage, showing Jackson and his team in an element never seen before by the general public. By the end of the movie-like documentary, you feel like you were there the entire time and a little sad that the show will never be shown in its true form.

The guys pictured above, along with producer Bryan Michael Cox, have a new show in the works. They’re calling it a male version of ABC’s “The View” and Nelly’s the driving force behind it all.

He announced that he is developing a talk show with a few of his hip-hop and R&B cohorts. Nelly explains, quote, “It’s me, Jermaine Dupri, Trey Songz, Johnta Auston, Brian Michael Cox and Tyrone ‘International’ Davis(JD’s Right Hand Man). We’re working on kind of like the male version of ‘The View.’” Nelly says he has always wanted to branch out, but turned down a lot of previous offers because, quote, “I felt I wasn’t ready yet.” He adds, quote, “I never want to disrespect the culture and the thing that is acting, thinking just because I’m Nelly I’m going to transition and be good at it.”

Nelly is also said to be working on his sixth studio album, which is currently untitled and expected to be released later this year. No word on when the show will premiere.

Snoop Dogg participated in a publicity stunt promoting the launch of the Adidas Originals X Star Wars Collection outside a Foot Locker in Times Square, NYC Thursday (Feb 4). Snoop hung out and posed for a couple of pictures with Darth Vader and a group of Stormtroopers at the launch event for the new sneaker line, which was inspired by the movie “Star Wars.”

Big Machine Records CEO Scott Borchetta came to Taylor Swift’s defense earlier regarding her very pitchy performance at the Grammys this past Sunday. While doing so, he also took a shot at American Idol saying:

“This is not ‘American Idol.’ This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It’s not about that technically perfect performance.

Maybe she’s not the best technical singer, but she’s probably the best emotional singer because everybody else who gets up there and is technically perfect, people don’t seem to want more of it.”

While the details of their personal, romantic relationship is unknown, Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson are teaming up with Bryan Michael Cox for JJ’s next album, the follow up to Discipline, released in 2008.

“I’m producing Janet’s album with Jermaine and it’s going to be hot,” B. Cox told Rap-Up.com at Tricky Stewart’s pre-Grammy party last Friday. “That’s all I can say so far.” His producing partner Kendrick “WyldCard” Dean also chimed in, adding, “Some great collabos on there,” but didn’t disclose further details.

Janet has been in the studio with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins working on her 11th studio album, due this year on A&M Records.

Trey Songz filmed the music video for his latest single “Neighbors Know My Name” Tuesday night (Feb 2) in Los Angeles. Some of the celebs who came through the set were Brian White, D. Woods, her sister Shanell and Kel Mitchell.

It sounds like Danger from VH1’s “For the Love of Ray J” tried to turn somebody’s sh*t down!

TMZ has learned Danger — one of the stars of the VH1 show “For the Love of Ray J” — is currently being detained by police in an arson investigation after officials responded to a fire in her Hollywood apartment.We’re told the L.A. City Fire Department received a 911 call around 2:15 PM PST today from Danger’s complex. When cops arrived, the fire had already been extinguished — but arson investigators were called to the scene. After checking out the situation, authorities decided to detain Danger –whose real name is Monica Leon — pending further investigation.

When are they gonna lock this crazy woman up in some kind of mental asylum?!

Most of you probably saw Taylor Swift’s recent performance with Stevie Nicks at this year’s Grammys (if not, peep it HERE) and you probably saw how mediocre and pitchy Taylor’s vocals were. Well since then, there has been a bunch of negative chatter about the terribly put together performance and now Taylor’s label boss Scott Borchetta, CEO of Big Machine Records has come to her defense:

“Maybe she’s not the best technical singer,” he began in comments to The Tennessean, “but she’s probably the best emotional singer because everybody else who gets up there and is technically perfect, people don’t seem to want more of it.”

He also went on to say this about her voice:

“I think (the critics) are missing the whole voice of a generation that is happening right in front of them,” he told the paper. “This is not ‘American Idol.’ This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It’s not about that technically perfect performance.”

Hmmm. It’s great to see Taylor Swift’s label boss coming to her defense like captain save a hoe but there’s really no excuse for Taylor’s awful performance. And she definitely deserve that “Album of the Year” Award. Just thought we’d throw that out there…

It’s become a trend for Vanity Fair to shoot an issue every year titled “A New Hollywood” that includes up and coming actress that have recently made splashes in Hollywood. When I first saw the cover for the 2010 issue, I did a small double take. The article included Twilight’s Kristen Stewart but not Gabourey Sidibe? Then I decided to look at the full spread, hoping she’d be there; but no, she wasn’t. Uh oh! Looks like Jay-Z got played. Many of you might remember when it was publicly announced that Jay-Z was in the process of building his very own hotel called “J Hotel” in partnership with Charlie Blaichman and Abe Shnay of SK Development and CB Developers. The hotel was set to be built on property in New York City at 510 West 22nd St.

But since the economy tanked, the project has been put on hold. Since then Jay and his company has been trying to sell it back to investment firm Highland Capital Management, but they have bnen procrastinating in getting the deal done, which has cost Jay over a million dollars in interest. Now, the Jigga man has filed a lawsuit against the company for $3.7 million.

“This action arises out of the efforts by defendants to bleed additional funds from the plaintiff,” the rapper’s lawyers stated in legal documents.

Cold game. This is what the Business World is all about. Poor Jay. Alot of people wanted to see him build this hotel. Maybe next time.

It is absolutely annoying how all of these Hollyweird celebs are continually getting plastic surgeries done on them to fix areas that they aren’t pleased with.

MTV Reality Star Heidi Montag is the latest celeb to literally screw up her face with her recent session of 10 surgeries in one day. She felt so good about her surgeries that she had the nerve to offer to pay for plastic surgery for her Mother as a gift. Well when the idiotic reality star went  home to visit her mother in Colorado and show off her new face, she was in for a rude awakening. Here’s what Heidi had to say about seeing mother after the 10 surgeries:

“I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did,” Montag said of the homecoming which was filmed for “The Hills.” “She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. It wasn’t like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak.”

Wow… This sad and funny at the same time. Zoo animal? Circus freak? Hilarious! The great thing about this whole situation is that all of it was captured by MTV cameras for the next season of The Hills.

Singers Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta gave photographers a blue thumbs up on the red carpet of the 2010 Jordin Sparks Experience at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel last night (Wed. Feb 3) in Miami Beach.

Last night, Bey and her posse took over NYC’s Union Square with a launch party celebrating the fragrance. Her sister Solange was behind the turntable mixing up track serving as the evening’s DJ.

Tennis phenom and Australian Open winner Serena Williams was all smiles as she made her way into a Physical Therapist’s office in Beverly Hills yesterday (Tues. Feb 2). And she has a damn good reason to have a smile painted on her face too.

Serena defeated her opponent Justine Henin during the 2010 Australian Open and walked away with the women’s title during the annual tournament, held Saturday (Jan 30) in Melbourne Australia at Melbourne Park.

With her sister Solange behind the turntables mixing up hits as the DJ, Beyonce celebrated the launch of her new “Heat” fragrance with a a party Tuesday night (Feb 2) at 15 Union Square in New York City. The VIP guest list included Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z (who turned down photo opps) mom Tina, her former Destiny’s Child group mate Michelle Williams, R&B singer Usher and TV personality Sherri Shepherd. We all know who wasn’t invited.

“If I had one scent that I would leave as my signature, it would be Heat. I hope that everyone is ready to catch the fever!” So said Beyoncé Knowles of her debut fragrance, Beyoncé Heat, at a star-studded launch party last night (complete with light show) in New York City’s Union Square.

The sultry 28-year-old, clad in a body-hugging red dress by Marc Bouwer, is (Sasha) fiercely proud of the signature eau she created with Coty. “I wanted it to be original and I didn’t want it to be like all the other celebrity brands.” explained Knowles. “It’s been two years in the making. Every little detail is very personal, so I’m extremely proud.”

And so far, the fragrance has been getting good reviews. Knowles has been testing the fragrance herself, wearing it on tour for the past year — “I never got so many compliments” — and, just the other night, to a little event called the Grammys. “My husband was like ‘You got 6 Grammys and you smell good.’”

Watch out Kardashians! There’s a new family on the reality show block!

VH1 reality star Ray J and his older sister, R&B singer Brandy, have put together a reality show about their family, which is set to air weekly on the TV network mentioned. Viewers will get a chance to peek into the lives of Brandy, Ray J and their parents, Willie and Sonja Norwood for one hour every Sunday for 11 weeks straight beginning on April 11th.

Well what do ya know. Mathew Knowles (Beyonce and Solange’s daddy) really did father an illegitimate child while he was married to Tina, which prompted her to file for divorce last fall.

Sources say that Alexsandra Wright had a paternity test done recently after giving birth to her daughter, and Mathew Knowles is indeed the father. No word on how Bey Bey, Tina or Solange are taking the news of their newest family member, but we’re sure they aren’t too happy. It is said that Tina’s recent file for divorce was due to Mathew’s cheating.

Rolling Stone Magazine managed to grab one of Lil Wayne’s last few interviews before he starts his bid in prison, and slapped the rapper on the cover of their March 2010 issue, in which he discusses how he’s going to cope with his 12 month prison sentence. It sounds like he’s just ready to get it over with.

I don’t like to stop,” Wayne tells RS‘ Chris Norris. “I believe you stop when you die.” So in the weeks before he reports to Rikers Island, Wayne is keeping busy — recording tracks bound for Tha Carter IV (the album Cash Money staffers call “C4? because it’ll be the bomb), shooting videos with his Young Money protégés, spending time with his growing family, and deliberately not asking anyone for advice about life on the inside. “This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he says. “I just say I’m looking forward to it.”

While Weezy’s away, his label is relocating to New York to be near him, and his manager Cortez Bryant is exploring ways to keep Wayne in his fans’ minds for the duration — from jailhouse Twitter accounts to endorsements. “I’ll have an iPod, and I”ll make sure they keep sending me beats,” Lil Wayne says. Tha Carter IV — which Norris is told features tougher, faster beats — is scheduled to arrive shortly after he gets out.

Sources say R&B singer Brandy and rapper Flo Rida were reportedly spotted getting extra cozy with each other at a nightclub in Las Vegas last Thursday (Jan 28). And apparently that’s not the first time the two were seen out together.

On January 28, she got cozy with rap superstar Flo Rida at Haze Nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. “The two arrived together holding hands and having an intimate conversation,” an onlooker tells In Touch. “They are definitely hooking up.” And that’s not the first time the musical duo were together.

They hung out at the Y100 concert in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in December. And at the Universal Motown Republic Group Grammy bash at the W Los Angeles on January 31, Brandy made sure to stay away from other men and hung out with her pal, singer Kelly Rowland, instead. Brandy only has eyes for Flo Rida. “Guys tried to hit on Brandy and she ignored them,” says an onlooker at the Grey Goose-sponsored event on January 31.

Say it ain’t so! The NY Daily News is reporting that Kanye West lost his cool (again) at LAX airport over his seating arrangement.

A source said that Monday (Feb 1), Ye and his assistant were seated in business class on a flight back to New York from LA following the Grammys. And Kanye apparently flipped out and shouted at flight attendants demanding to be “bumped up” to first class.

What’s wrong Kanye? Are you too good for “business class?”

He wanted to be bumped up,” says our witness. West and his aide were eventually moved to the better seats. A rep for Kanye — who garnered widespread condemnation over his onstage outburst at last year’s MTV awards as Taylor Swift accepted her award — didn’t get back to us.
