The latest X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke is still making promotional rounds around the UK for her debut album Overcome which hit UK stores October 19th. Hip-hop king Jay-Z and R&B queen Mary J. Blige showed up and showed out (from what I hear) in Miami’s American Airlines Arena Saturday night! The two were there, along with Kanye West, Timbaland, and The Dream, to kick off their Heart of the City tour. Rappers Young Jeezy and Fabolous showed their support from the audience, and were photographed backstage. It looked like a pretty damn good show! Wish I could have been there.

Yesterday (Dec. 1st) was World AIDS Day, and the annual 46664 Aids Awareness concert sponsored by Nelson Mandela was held yesterday at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. Hip-Hop artist Ludacris, singer Corrine Bailey Rae, UK artist Jamelia, and supermodel Naomi Campbell all showed up to support the cause.

R Kelly’s currently on tour with Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo, and J.Holiday, and the crew touched down in Atlanta last night. I’m hearing Keyshia’s giving a little trouble behind the scenes though. I was reading on Fresh’s site that homegirl wasn’t too happy about her dressing room arrangement (and the show line-up) at the previous show in Columbus, Georgia. She did NOT go on stage that night because she didn’t wanna go BEFORE Ne-Yo! Why? Because she believes that she’s bigger than he is. Wow… Lol. Style Razzi has all the info on that. But it looks like they came to some kind of agreement cause she hit the stage last night in Atlanta. If anyone went to the ATL show last night, PLEASEEEEE hit us up! I wanna know who came first … Keyshia, or Ne-Yo?? Lol!

But on the real, she needs to chill out with that. Drama on the road is not cool, especially when you have to be around these people almost all day long for a period of 2 – 4 months. Wasn’t she the one causing issues a couple of years ago during Kanye’s tour?? It was something between her and Fantasia if I remember correctly.

Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, and Trick Daddy all performed at Mansion Nightclub  last night in Miami. The show was sponsored by “Raw,” which is a channel on XM Satellite Radio.

In addition to the headliners and supporting acts (I’m sure you know who they are by now), you had the likes of 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Jay-Z sharing the same stage! The Essence Music Festival is underway! Last night’s performances from Ludacris, Ciara, Ruben Studdard, the Isley Brothers, and more was just the beginning of an amazing weekend to come. As we reported earlier in the week, the festival is back in New Orleans for the first time after Hurricane Katrina hit a couple of years ago. Tonight’s show will feature performances from Beyonce, Robin Thicke, and Chris Brown.
