Right-wing radio host Pete Santilli has revealed an extensive plan to shoot Hillary Clinton “right in the vagina” and confront her about a whole lot of bullsh** as she dies slowly.

Santilli detailed his fantasy of murdering the former Secretary of State on his intenet radio show.

I want to shoot her right in the vagina and I don’t want her to die right away; I want her to feel the pain and I want to look her in the eyes and I want to say, on behalf of all Americans that you’ve killed, on behalf of the Navy SEALS, the families of Navy SEAL Team Six who were involved in the fake hunt down of this Obama, Obama bin Laden thing, that whole fake scenario, because these Navy SEALS know the truth, they killed them all. On behalf of all of those people, I’m supporting our troops by saying we need to try, convict, and shoot Hillary Clinton in the vagina.

Just when you thought there couldn’t be a worse statement than Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” garbage. Could you imagine if a female disk jockey said she wanted to shoot Mark Sanford in the penis and antagonize him as he lay dying?

On Santilli’s website, he describes himself as a former U.S. Marine and Coca-Cola Executive. He also claims to have extensive knowledge of conspiracy theories surrounding everything from Sandy Hook to 9/11.

Isn’t this right-wing nut job aware that when you say mind numbingly stupid crap about shooting women in the vagina — people tend to give you the brush-off?

As you have probably heard by now, Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto, was recently captured on video smoking crack cocaine, and the shocking video could make its way to the Internet if Gawker is able to get its hands on it.

Using the website indiegogo.com, the folks over at Gawker have kicked off what they’re calling a “crackstarter” campaign — a play on words, in reference to the popular crowd-funding platform KickStarter.

The heading at the top of the campaign’s page on indiegogo reads: “Rob Ford Crackstarter — Please help us raise enough money to purchase and publish a video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine.”

So far, as of Saturday night (May 18), the campaign has raised nearly $70,000 of its $200,000 goal, with 9 days left. If Gawker is able to successfully raise the $200,000 the owner of the cell phone video footage is willing to let it go for, the world will be able to watch Toronto’s “conservative” mayor smoking crack cocaine.

In the meantime, when asked to comment on the scandal, Ford told a group of reporters that gathered outside his home early Friday morning (May 17) — just hours after the story broke on Gawker and subsequently The Toronto Star — that the “allegations are absolutely not true.”

Ford added before getting into his Cadillac Escalade, CBC News Toronto reported, “It’s ridiculous, it’s another Toronto Star whatever.”

Later Friday, as Ford was leaving his downtown Toronto office, he gave another brief statement to reporters:

“Anyways, like I said this morning, these allegations are ridiculous, it’s another story with respect to the Toronto Star going after me,” Ford said. “And that’s all I’ve got to say for now.”

It’s worth noting that Ford never outright DENIES the allegations. He simply says that they’re “ridiculous,” and he’s right, the allegations are “ridiculous.”

It’s ridiculous that the mayor of one of the biggest metropolitan areas in the world has been recorded on video smoking crack cocaine, and it’s even more ridiculous that we’ll all be watching said video footage it any day now.

Gotta love that “new media.”

I’m not that deep into politics, so before now, I’ve never heard of this Rob Ford guy, who is the mayor of Toronto, but all of that is beside the point. There’s a video out there of a mayor — a CONSERVATIVE mayor — smoking crack from a pipe!

And if Gawker has its way, the world might see this video very soon so that we can all watch it and point and laugh … because who doesn’t want to see a major political figure smoking crack on camera? I most certainly do, and you know you do.

But before I get into this hell of a story — and boy is this a big one — let me put it like this. Toronto is basically the Canadian version of New York City, with a metro population of about 6 million people. That’s about 2 million less than NYC, and about 2 million more than Los Angeles.

So the fact that the mayor of a city with a population density akin to New York City — the biggest and most famous city in the entire world — has been captured … on video … smoking CRACK COCAINE (not a cigarette, not weed, not even cocaine, but CRACK cocaine) is a pretty big deal.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s get into the meat of this here mountain of a story.

Gawker editor John Cook was recently tipped off about the existence of video footage taken within the past six months showing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine (and it’s the real deal). To make an extremely long story short … Gawker wants to buy it.

But there’s only one problem. The guy who owns the video wants at least 6 figures for it. And the owner is so serious about their hefty price tag that he turned down a $40,000 offering from a Canadian media outlet that he refused to name.

Cook actually traveled to Toronto so that he could verify the authenticity of the clip in person, and he is 1,0000% certain that the man in the video is Rob Ford. He was even given a nice photo (at the top of this post) showing Ford hanging out with a bunch of college-aged twenty-somethings in an area that looks to be prime for crack smoking. (FYI: The gentlemen on the left, Ford’s right, flipping the bird was shot and killed two months ago outside a Toronto nightclub)

After going back and forth for days with the “tipster,” Cook eventually got a chance to personally meet up with the holder of the video camera that contained the 100% legit footage of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine:

We sit idling in his car, making small talk. The tipster calls the owner and talks in language other than English. “He’ll be right down,” he says. Fifteen minutes pass. “Waiting for the elevator,” he says. Ten minutes pass. A young gentleman opens the rear door of the car and gets in. The two men speak in a language other than English. The young gentleman immediately exits the vehicle. No video.

The tipster looks at me: “The battery is dead.” The young gentleman—the owner of the video—needed to go back upstairs to charge the battery on the device that contained the video. We wait. More small talk.

The owner of the video returns. He thrusts a device, a phone with a touchscreen, in my face. “Can I hold it?” I ask. “No.” I crane my neck. It plays.

Here is what the video shows: Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto, is the only person visible in the frame. Prior to the trip, I spent a lot of time looking at photographs of Rob Ford. The man in the video is Rob Ford. It is well-lit, clear.

Ford is seated, in a room in a house. In one hand is a a clear, glass pipe. The kind with a big globe and two glass cylinders sticking out of it. In the other hand is a lighter. A slurred voice off-camera is ranting about Canadian politics in what sounds like an attempt to goad Ford. “Pierre Trudeau was a faggot!” is the one phrase the lodges in my mind.

Ford, pipe in one hand and lighter in the other, is laughing, and mildly protesting at the sacrilege. He seems to keep trying to light the pipe, but keeps stopping to laugh. He is red-faced and sweaty, heaving with each breath. Finally, he finds his moment and lights up. He inhales.

In one move, the owner stops the video and draws the device back into his pocket.

“You took this?” I ask. “Yes.”

“When?” … “Within the last six months.”

“You’re sure it’s crack?” … “Yes.”

“You’ve seen him smoke crack before?” … “Yes. Gotta jet.”

And he is gone.

Well damn. It looks like Toronto has the Canadian version of Marion Berry running wild up there.

Gawker is looking for a partner to help offset the cost of the video, so if anyone out there wants to help out with this great this cause, feel free to reach out to them! The world needs to see this. Seriously.

The first black president has meant the first hip-hop president in many ways, but President Obama looked like he was breaking bonds with the community once the whole Jay-Z/Beyonce Cuba fiasco caused a stir.

But if the President’s response to the controversy at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner means anything, then the president is as down as ever.

Entering to a snippet of DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win,” the president asked, “How do you like my new entrance music?”

He took it a step further and nudged the uptight conservatives who’ve been complaining about the president hobnobbing with such “lowbrow” individuals.

“Rush Limbaugh warned you about this — second term, baby. We’re changing things around here a little bit,” Obama joked.

He specifically addressed the Jay-Z/Cuba incident in his speech saying, “ Some things are beyond my control. For example, this whole controversy about Jaz-Z going to Cuba — it’s unbelievable. I’ve got 99 problems and now Jay-Z is one.”

Alright now, Barry. In the words of Jigga man himself, he’s pretty much telling the Republicans and critics, “I’m so bossy, bitch get off me!”

I have a feeling this means things between the president and Jay are okay.

Hopefully putting to rest the drama that surrounded Beyonce and Jay-Z’s trip to Cuba, President Barack Obama made his first comments about the Hip Hop couple’s controversial trek to Cuba.

“I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip,” the president said in an interview with the Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie. “My understanding is I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba. You know, this is not something the White House was involved with. We’ve got better things to do.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce took a trip to Cuba at the beginning of the month for their anniversary and caused a media frenzy that drew heavy criticism.

Many Cuban celebrities and anti-Castro activists spoke out against the trip and politicians even wanted the trip investigated; something Jay-Z responded to in a song.

“Politicians never did sh-t for me / Except lie to me, distort history,” Jay-Z rapped. “Wanna give me jail time and a fine / Fine, let me commit a real crime.”

“Obama said, ‘Chill, you gonna get me impeached,’’ he continued.”But you don’t need this sh-t anyway / Chill with me on the beach.”

The song itself sparked more controversy as it even prompted reporters to ask White House Press Secretary Jay Carney about it.

“I guess nothing rhymes with Treasury, because Treasury offers and gives licenses for travel and the White House had nothing to do it,” Carney said.

But now that Jay-Z and Beyonce have created a headache for the Obama administration, will they ever be invited to the White House again or have Hov and Bey been Jeremiah Wrighted?

Stacey Dash has gotten herself in trouble once again on Twitter. Months after causing controversy by endorsing Mitt Romney, Dash is using her Twitter page to call out Beyoncé and Jay-Z for their trip to Cuba.

Meryl Streep played Margaret Thatcher in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2011 film ‘The Iron Lady’ and won an Oscar for her portrayal. And with yesterday’s passing of the UK’s first female Prime Minister, Streep has released a statement remembering the “Iron Lady.”

“Margaret Thatcher was a pioneer, willingly or unwillingly, for the role of women in politics,” she said in a release obtained by Huffington Post.  “It is hard to imagine a part of our current history that has not been affected by measures she put forward in the UK at the end of the 20th century. Her hard-nosed fiscal measures took a toll on the poor, and her hands-off approach to financial regulation led to great wealth for others. There is an argument that her steadfast, almost emotional loyalty to the pound sterling has helped the UK weather the storms of European monetary uncertainty.

“But to me she was a figure of awe for her personal strength and grit. To have come up, legitimately, through the ranks of the British political system, class bound and gender phobic as it was, in the time that she did and the way that she did, was a formidable achievement,” she added. “To have won it, not because she inherited the position as the daughter of a great man, or the widow of an important man, but by dint of her own striving. To have withstood the special hatred and ridicule, unprecedented in my opinion, leveled in our time at a public figure who was not a mass murderer; and to have managed to keep her convictions attached to fervent ideals and ideas — wrongheaded or misguided as we might see them now — without corruption.

“I see that as evidence of some kind of greatness, worthy for the argument of history to settle. Margaret Thatcher passed away on Monday, April 8th at the age of 87 after suffering a stroke. Thatcher rose from a working-class childhood to serve as the United Kingdom’s first female Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990.

The History Channel actually has a legitimate, scripted dramatic television show hit with its “The Bible” miniseries. But a recent episode showed “the devil” and several people on social media commented right away that Satan bore a striking resemblance to our dear commander-in-chief.

Hot damn! Barry, you were supposed to be our savior, not the anti-Christ! Who was in charge of casting this series though? Rush Limbaugh?

Besides the devil looking like a cousin to President Obama, I had a few more questions I wanted to ask.

First of all, why is the devil wearing a hoodie? Are we supposed to believe hoodies are evil? Cause Trayvon Martin wore a hoodie and got gunned down and now we’ve got the devil rocking one. Not cool.

Secondly, why is the devil’s skin color a sickly shade of olive? As in the fruit that is plucked from trees, not the rich, golden color of the oil it produces.

Lastly, what is that on the devil’s chin? A mole or a fetus? It looks kind of nasty and festering.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are reportedly among top celebrities, including political figures, who have recently become victims to a recent hacking, in which their social security numbers and other personal financial information were leaked to the Internet.

According to TMZ, a website whose name they aren’t disclosing (for obvious reasons) posted social security numbers, mortgage amounts, credit card info, car loans, banking and other private information from quite a collection of the world’s biggest celebrities and public figures.

In addition to Hip Hop’s royal couple, the site was able to pull financial information of folks like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Joe Biden, Robert Mueller, Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Eric Holder, Britney Spears, Hulk Hogan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Trump and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck.

TMZ says the site wasn’t successful with getting a lot of information on Biden and Clinton, and according to law enforcement sources, the LAPD has launched an investigation, and the FBI is also currently looking into it.

However … according to the following ABC News video report this could all be a hoax simply used by the so-called “hackers” to embarrass the aforementioned celebs and public figures, for whatever reason.

We went to the site, which appears to originate from Russia, and as of this afternoon, according to a tracker at the bottom of the page, it has over 230,000 pageviews, and it appears to be receiving at least 20-30 or so hits per second.

UPDATE: Literally right after publishing this story, we went to check the site’s pageviews counter again … and it appears that the site has already been scrubbed from the Internet.

The family of slain black gay Mississippi mayoral candidate Marco McMillian has issued a statement saying that the political hopeful was savagely beaten and left for dead near a river.

Family friend Carter Womack said that McMillian’s family received the information on their loved one’s brutal death from the Coahoma County coroner, Scotty Meredith, who declined to comment on the situation as of Monday, March 4th.

However, a person with direct knowledge of the investigation, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed to the Associated Press that McMillian had some bruises and there were burns on at least one area of his body.

Coroners still have yet to determine a cause of death, but Womack said that McMillian’s family was told that he was beaten and burned, and his body was drug under a fence and left near a Mississippi River levee when he was killed last week.

The full statement from Marco McMillian’s family reads:

This is a very difficult time for us, the family of Marco Watson McMillian of Clarksdale, Mississippi, as we have lost our beloved son, family member, and friend. In this time of our great loss, we want to thank everyone for their words of comfort and support.

We know that Marco was brutally murdered. His body was found on Wednesday, February 26, 2013, beaten, dragged and burned (set afire). This was reported in our meeting with the local coroner on two occasions. We were informed that the official autopsy report could take two to four weeks to complete. We feel that this was not a random act of violence based on the condition of the body when it was found. Marco, nor anyone, should have their lives end in this manner.

Last Thursday (Feb 28), a 22-year-old man from Jackson, Mississippi named Lawrence Reed was arrested for and charged with the death of Marco McMillian.

Reed was targeted in the crime after he crashed McMillian’s SUV in a head-on collision earlier in the week, and during questioning, Reed told police where they could find McMillian’s body. It isn’t known whether or not Reed and McMillian knew each other, and Reed is currently being held in jail without bond.

After years as a dedicated community activist, McMillian — who was recognized in 2004 in Ebony Magazine as one of the nation’s “30 up-and-coming African Americans under 30″ — was running for Mayor of Clarksdale, Mississippi before he was brutally murdered. His slaying has received a ton of media attention, mainly due to his race and sexual orientation, which many believe to be the reason why he was killed.

Funeral services for Marco McMillian will be held at the Coahoma Community College in their Pinnacle building on Saturday, March 9th at 10 a.m.

Dennis Rodman wants the ENTIRE WORLD to know that Kim Jong Un is “such a great guy” … so much so that he reportedly spent hours at the bar at a New York City hotel the other day telling that to anyone who would listen, which eventually got him kicked out for being annoying.

According to Page Six:

Dennis Rodman was escorted out of the Time Hotel in Midtown on Sunday after spending hours at the restaurant bar loudly telling anyone who would listen what a great guy the North Korean dictator is.

“He was at the bar at Serafina for three hours,” says a spy. “He kept saying what a nice guy Kim is, and how Kim just wants to talk to President Obama about basketball. He was waving around a signed copy of the dictator’s huge manifesto, telling everyone they should read it.”

Added the witness, “Dennis was making a total jerk of himself. He wouldn’t leave, and he wouldn’t let anyone talk to him about shutting up, or what an oppressive country North Korea is. Eventually he had to leave the bar because the bartender was starting to get [bleep]ed-off.”

Rodman recently came off a bizarre trip from visiting North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un with members of the Harlem Globetrotters for an HBO series, and he has definitely been enjoying the media attention he’s been receiving because of it.

“He’s a great guy,” Rodman has told reporters of ‘Lil Kim’ — who heads a country where people are said to eat their own children because of the rampant famine across the impoverished nation.

“I love him. He’s awesome,” Rodman said about the guy who just idly sits by and stuffs his fat face while children in his country look like this.

After the backlash and criticism from the media for being a bit too chummy with one of the most hated men on the planet, Rodman still refused to backtrack from his assessment of Kim Jong Un.

“You know, he’s a good guy to me. Guess what? He’s my friend. I don’t condone what he does … [but] as a person to person – he’s my friend,” he told ABC.

Well, Mr. Rodman, you should tell your “friend” to get off his fat ass and do something good for his own country for a change.

Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, has died at the age of 58 following a nearly two-year battle with cancer, The Associated Press is reporting.

Venezuela’s Vice President Nicolás Maduro, surrounded by other government officials, announced the news of Chavez’s death Tuesday afternoon (Mar 5) on state television.

Chavez served as President of Venezuela for more than 14 years.

With a headline like that, I could really take this a thousand different places. You nervous? Don’t be.

Dennis Rodman is back in the headlines, and this time, it isn’t for a marriage, divorce, or even for wearing a wedding dress –  but the former basketball phenom IS in the news for a new relationship he’s formed with none other than North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Now before you check out on me, because this is the part where that’d be easy, hang with me.

If you hadn’t heard, to make a long story short, Dennis Rodman just got back to the States after traveling abroad to hang out with the dictator of North Korea. At first, I thought this was about as profound as Kim Kardashian meeting Ahmadinejad. But then after a little more thought, I realized: this is kind of epic, kind of annoying, and then kind of epic all over again.

KIND OF EPIC:

It’s kind of epic on a number of levels. How did Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un become besties in the first place?

North Korea is notoriously insulated. North Koreans aren’t tweeting from their iPhones, updating their statuses and tagging Facebook photos on their iPads, and probably didn’t really catch on to the South Korean-native Psy’s Gangam Style craze.

It’s not likely Lil Kim (nickname for Kim Jong Un, after rising to power when his father Kim Jong Il passed away in 2011) was following Dennis on Twitter, Dennis followed back and they started DM-ing.

It’s also rather unlikely that the pierced and tatted Rodman just stumbled upon KJU and they just clicked. KJU reportedly speaks broken-English and I doubt they sat next to each other on a flight.

Some people believe Rodman was paid to make the trip, seemingly to cause a media frenzy… like… it… has… and to bring more attention to North Korea.

You may remember it was barely a month ago the country made headlines when they reportedly tested a nuclear weapon that was aimed toward the United States. The United States has (seemingly) had very little success getting some of the most official communications into North Korea, and then comes Dennis Rodman.

It’s epic simply because they were in contact.

KIND OF ANNOYING:

Of all the celebrities to invite to North Korea and spark headlines, conversations, and cause me to have to message my dad at late hours to get his opinion, why Dennis Rodman? There are a host of other people that are basketball players, and washed-up former stars of not only Celebrity Apprentice, but also Celebrity Rehab.

The choosing of Dennis Rodman leads me to believe that this stunt was just that, a publicity stunt. It’s not really a secret that reports of Rodman’s financial woes are abundant. He’s also supposedly in exceedingly poor health. The scent of this story to me reeks of “cut me a check and I’ll put on a show.”

It’s annoying because it causes us to have to discuss, and look at, Dennis Rodman yet again.

KIND OF EPIC ALL OVER AGAIN:

Finally, it’s kind of epic all over again because I’m reminded of Senator Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential debates.

When questioned about whether or not he’d be willing to take meetings and converse with our enemies, he caught a lot of flack and was called naive for saying he would, from just about everyone, the right, the left, and even Hillary Clinton.

It was ground-breaking at the time because, at that time, our current president had us in two wars, and always seemed like he had his cowboy boots on and his gun on his holster ready for the next fight. This was a radically different perspective for a prospective new White House tenant.

But this week, the Obama administration has made indication that it will not be taking Rodman’s only real coherent piece of advice from his trip, to “call him” … ‘him,’ being Kim Jong Un.

When Rodman was interviewed on Sunday morning political chat show This Week with George Stephanopolous, he said that KJU wanted Obama to just “call him,” citing that he did “not want to do war.”

Now honestly, if there’s anything that Dennis Rodman said in his interview that helped him, it was discussing the less-than-olive-branch-extending request. While it seems this would be in line with President Obama’s views on taking calls from anyone, today it seems that policy has been suspended.

You won’t find many bigger fans of our great Commander-in-Chief than you will in me, but it does beg the question: “Why not just ‘call him,’ Mr. President?”

It’s kind of epic all over again, because it’s Dennis Rodman putting the president into quite the predicament.

As Secretary of State, and arguably one of the best we’ve ever had, Hillary Clinton wanted to but never got to Kim Jong Un … but Dennis Rodman did. Will the president accept the opportunity, pick up the phone and talk to one of the world’s most violent and hated leaders? Only time will tell.

As for Dennis Rodman’s future itineraries in the East, he says he wants to go back to “find out more.” Great. Dennis Rodman wants to be a diplomat. I think need a tall glass of iced bleach.

But then again, what do I know?

On Thursday in Jackson, Mississippi, a 22-year-old man by the name of Lawrence Reed was charged with the death of openly gay mayoral candidate Marco McMillian.

The investigation for this case began Tuesday when a man crashed McMillan’s SUV into another car on U.S Highway 49 near the Coahoma and Tallahatchie county lines.

Interestingly enough, McMillian wasn’t in the vehicle during the crash, but on Wednesday morning, McMillian’s body was found near the Mississippi River levee.

McMillian may have been the first openly gay candidate running the conservative state of Mississippi.

He served four years as an international executive director of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. He was also the CEO of MWM & Associates — a consulting firm for nonprofit organizations.

According to his fraternity, he secured the first federal contract to raise awareness about the heavy impact of HIV and AIDS, and in 2004 McMillian was recognized as one the nation’s “30 up and coming African Americans” under the age of 30.

Considering the fact that a rather conservative state like Mississippi doesn’t support gay rights, and is also known for its racism, it wouldn’t be surprising if McMillan’s death turned out to be the result of a hate crime.

A young African American man with such gratitude, and willingness to change lives was taken from us most likely because he was gay, and the color of his skin most certainly didn’t help. What other motive could one have to kill this man?

According to Warren Strain, a spokesman with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, the autopsy has been completed but toxicology and other test results are pending, and the cause of death will not be released until the report is completed.

First Lady Michelle Obama made a surprise appearance at the 85th Academy Awards via satellite and while the crowd inside the Dolby Theater was happy to see her, some people had criticism. But Mrs. Obama isn’t letting the chitter chatter of a few get her down.

“That’s just the nature of life. I mean, we live in a time when there are bloggers and tweeters and 24-hour news and everyone has a voice in this town square, and it’s a big one,” Obama told Today contributor Kelly Wallace. “That means at any point at a given time, somebody’s not going to like what you do. That’s the nature of things.”

She says that the criticism is something that she is not taking personally and understands that she is a public figure, and that it comes with the territory.

“It’s not really about me,” she said. “I just happen to be in the public eye and along with everybody else in the public eye, you’re subject to conversation, opinion and all that sort of stuff. There’s nothing new about that.”

In other words, bye haters.

First Lady Obama made waves lately when she decided to cut her bangs, calling it her “midlife crisis.” However, her appearance at the Oscars was for a more important cause, her support of the arts.

Mrs. Obama appeared via satellite to present the award for best picture, which went to Ben Affleck’s Argo.

Following the 2013 Oscars, host Seth MacFarlane learned the hard way that Hollywood takes itself way too seriously and that people get offended by just about anything. So would he consider taking on the gig in the future?

“No way,” MacFarlane tweeted in response to a fan’s question. “Lotta fun to have done it, though.”

There you have it folks, less risky hosts like Billy Crystal are set to bring the Oscars back to being an immeasurable bore fest. Yaaaaayyy……

First Lady Michelle Obama was a surprise presenter at Sunday’s Oscars and appeared via satellite to announce the Best Picture award. The first lady appeared in a stunning Naeem Khan dress that rivaled some of the designs worn by A-List starlets.

But it turns out Iran’s “Fars News” had to photoshop the dress so that it was more modest — adding sleeves and more fabric to the neckline.

We wonder what they had to do to Anne Hathaway’s dress (see @AnneHathawayNipples).

Lindsay Lohan Owes the IRS Almost $200,000

In celebrity train wreck news, Lindsay Lohan is sinking further into debt. According to TMZ, the troubled starlet owes the government over $56, 700 in taxes for the year 2011 and $140,000 for 2010, making a total tax bill worth nearly $200,000!

This is the third time Lohan has attempted to avoid taxes. She was slapped with a charge for over $93,000 in 2009, which fellow CrazyTown resident Charlie Sheen supposedly paid for her. But this time, she’s on her own. [TMZ]

So don’t believe all of those reports that the two are rivals. It’s great to see two starlets getting along rather than feeling that they need to compete with one another.

After months of dodging and hiding, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. finally had to face the music. The son of Rev. Jesse Jackson pleaded guilty to a felony fraud of $750,000 on Wednesday, along with his wife, Sandi. He’s expected to serve 46 to 57 months in prison, according to reports.

During the courtroom sentencing, Jackson Jr. broke down in tears and took responsibility for his actions, the New York Times reports:

“For years I lived off my campaign,” Mr. Jackson, 47, said in response to questions from the judge about the plea. “I used money I shouldn’t have used for personal purposes.”

At one point during the hearing, the judge stopped his questioning of Mr. Jackson, who was crying, so that he could be given a tissue.

“Guilty, Your Honor — I misled the American people,” Mr. Jackson said when asked whether he would accept the plea deal. Mr. Jackson’s father, the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, his mother and several brothers and sisters accompanied him to the hearing.

Much of the money Jackson Jr. and his wife diverted from the campaign was spent on fur coats, TVs, DVD players, vacations and apparently, elk heads. Who knew black folks were into taxidermy?

Jackson Jr. went MIA for a while last summer and then claimed to suffer from bipolar disorder. His attorney Reid Weingarten commented, saying, “That’s not an excuse, it’s just a fact.”

Politicians screw up all the time, but it’s especially embarrassing when the politician comes from a prominent civil rights family. Then again, given Jesse’s own scandals, most would say the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.

If you had a problem with First Lady Michelle Obama‘s new bangs, too bad. Now they’re etched in official White House history since Mrs. Obama is rocking them in her official portrait as First Lady for her husband President Barack Obama‘s second term.

The new picture is fresh and Michelle looks elegant and classic, but we would’ve loved it if she threw on a blonde, Beyonce-inspired lace front wig and cranked up the fan. Let that inner Sasha Fierce out, ya dig?

Ok, we’re kidding. Sort of. But at least she put away those sexy, sculpted arms that caused so much controversy in the last portrait.

An Ohio woman has filed a lawsuit against her former employee claiming that she was fired from her job because she voted for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

According to reports, the lawsuit filed last week by Patricia Kunkle accuses Dayton-based defense contractor Q-Mark Inc. and its president/owner Roberta “Bobbie” Gentile of telling employees that if Obama was re-elected, then anyone who supported him would be the first to be fired.

Kunkle’s lawsuit claims that Gentile engaged Q-Mark employees in conversations in an effort to uncover their political affiliations and repeatedly disparaged those who supported Obama.

The lawsuit said Kunkle’s voting preferences came up in a conversation on November 7th, the day after the election, and she was fired on November 9th.

The suit claims that Gentile said the firing was in the “best interest of the company,” but Kunkle believes that it had to do with her political preference. But Gentile’s attorney Brian Wildermuth said in a statement to the Dayton Daily News that Kunkle was laid off for economic reasons and “nothing more.”

“I am sure you and your readers are familiar with the ongoing uncertainties regarding defense spending, and thus the economic environment confronting defense contractors,” Wildermuth said. “The allegation that Q-Mark discharged Ms. Kunkle because of her vote is simply false.”

According to the lawsuit, Kunkle started working for the small company as a temporary worker in April 2012 and became a full-time employee within a month’s time. The lawsuit said that Kunkle not only performed her duties “efficiently and effectively,” but she never received any disciplinary action or negative performance evaluations.

Patricia Kunkle is seeking a minimum of $25,000 in her suit.

Here’s a pair you don’t expect to hear of together, but anything is possible. President Obama and Tiger Woods played golf together over the weekend.

President Obama was in Florida on a three-day vacation with First Lady Michelle Obama, and the Prez is known to be an avid golf player, so who better to play the game with than one of the best?

The duo played Sunday (Feb 17) at The Floridan Golf Club in Palm City, Fla and were also joined by the club’s owner Jim Crane, as well as Woods’ former swing coach Butch Harmon.

“Well, when you get to play with the president and Tiger Woods in the same round, that’s one that doesn’t happen every day and it might not happen again,” Crane told MLB.com. “It was a lot of fun. The President was very cordial, and Tiger had a lot of fun and hit some great shots. We had a lot of fun.”

On the President’s golf game, Crane added, “He played well today. He made some good shots and had some pars, and I think he shot in the 80s. The weather was nice and we had fun. I think he really enjoyed his visit and we really enjoyed having him in the Floridian, and hopefully we’ll have him back some day.”

Harmon told Golf Digest, “Just to see the interaction between the two on the range was pretty neat. The President said to Tiger: ‘The last tournament you played was fun to watch. It’s good to see you play well again.’ You could tell he meant it. It just wasn’t a throw it out compliment.”

Wonder if we’ll ever see the president and Michael Jordan on the basketball court. Wouldn’t that be epic?

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) had one of the best seats in the house at this year’s Inauguration for Barack Obama‘s second term as president, and the GOP party member was featured on Tuesday morning’s cover of the New York Post, which showed the politico in the middle of snapping a picture of Beyonce and Jay-Z with his camera phone.

“FIRST COUPLE! (Well almost) — Pols fawn over Beyonce, Jay-Z at inaugural” the NY Post cover read, suggesting that President Obama’s own inauguration was outshined by Hip-Hop’s royal couple.

What? How do you know Beyonce, and not know that she’s married to one of the most famous rappers alive?

“I didn’t know!” King told NY Mag. “I knew the name but I didn’t realize that was him. I just know Beyoncé from seeing her picture in the papers. I don’t know rap. I stopped listening to music after Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers.”

“I’m not that starstruck with entertainers,” he continued, but “if we’re gonna focus on somebody, I’d rather focus on her than him — that’s a beautiful woman! If it was David Wright or R.A. Dickey, then I’d be excited.”

Speaking on him landing on the front page of the NY Post, King said: “It’s ironic to end up on the front page of the paper. I took about 40 shots yesterday — ten of the Clintons, ten of the Obamas, ten of the Chief Justice — and the one that makes it is Beyoncé.”

Senator John McCain, a U.S. Navy veteran who famously spent over 5 years being tortured during the Vietnam War, and is a strong advocate against violent torture, made a really awkward joke about water boarding John Kerry at a press conference on Tuesday (Jan 22).

Speaking at a press conference with other senators, McCain said that he would do whatever it takes to get the truth out of Kerry, who has been tapped by President Obama himself to become the next Secretary of State.

The former prisoner of war said that he looked forward to “mercilessly” interrogating his friend Kerry, a fellow Vietnam War veteran, at his upcoming Senate confirmation hearing. “We will bring back for the only time water boarding to get the truth out of him,” McCain said, as reported by Politico.

“We will look forward to interrogating him at his hearing next week, mercilessly,” McCain said as a joke. An awkward joke, but still a joke (to old man McCain at least), none-the-less.

Water boarding is a form of torture in which large amounts of water is poured over cloth covering the face of someone who is being held down, which causes them to experience the sensation of drowning.

Water boarding was conducted on terror suspects during George W. Bush’s administration, and McCain — a survivor of torture himself — is supposed to be strongly against it.

The film “Zero Dark Thirty” depicts water boarding as one of the key factors that led to the discovery and eventual killing of Osama bin Laden, but McCain spoke out against the movie, saying its emphasis on torture and linking it to finding bin Laden was all wrong.

The 76-year-old Republican Arizona Senator said in a speech on the Senate floor last month, “Not only did the use of enhanced interrogation techniques on Khalid Sheikh Mohammed not provide us with key leads on bin Laden’s courier, Abu Ahmed, it actually produced false and misleading information.”

So why the waterboarding joke? Did McCain’s old, fragile mind cause him to temporarily forget about the torture he supposedly endured for 5-and-a-half years?

Possibly. But you can’t really blame the guy. His mind ain’t too good. After-all, he did choose Sarah Palin as his Vice President. And we can’t forget about last year when he accidentally endorsed President Obama, instead of Mitt Romney.

Alicia Keys performed at President Barack Obama‘s Inaugural Ball Monday night (Jan 21) and switched up the lyrics to her song “Girl On Fire” in a special tribute to honor the president on his special day.

A longtime supporter of President Obama, Keys began by telling the audience, “today is an incredible day. And you can feel the energy everywhere that you go. Every day is a new day and a new chance to be our best. To serve our highest purpose.”

She intorduced the new lyrics, “He’s president and he’s on fire…he’s living in a world and it’s on fire” and paused for a few seconds to cheers from the crowd before belting “Obama’s on fire!”

While it was nice and quite thoughtful of Alicia to change up the lyrics to her song just for the President … we think she may have missed the boat with that whole “Obama’s on Fire” thing, which if taken literally, sounds really really bad.

L.A. Times Pop Music Critic Randall Roberts seems to think so too, referring to the R&B singer’s ode to Obama as “ill-advised casualness gone wrong” and calling it “awkward,” “mediocre,” “confusing” and an outright “mistake.”

Roberts even offered his own interpretation of Keys’ updated lyrics:

“He’s president and he’s on fire/Hotter than a fantasy, longer like a highway,” she sang, turning the autobiographical song of determination into an increasingly awkward presidential ode. “He’s living in a world and it’s on fire/Filled with catastrophe but he knows he can fly away,” she went on to sing, and to my ears the suggestion here is that the president just may cut and run when the going gets tough.

“He’s got both feet on the ground,” she continued, “and he’s burning it down/Got his head in the clouds/As he’s not backing down.” Did anyone else interpret that to mean he’s out of touch and stubborn? And how can anyone burn down the ground? She then went into a recast version of the song’s chorus: “Obama’s on fire! Obama’s on fire! He’s walking on fire! Obama’s on fire!”

Perhaps he’s the devil? No? Then, why in the following line did Keys sing, “Everyone stands as he goes by/They can see the flames that’s in his eyes/Watch him as he’s lighting up the night.” OK, maybe I misread it. She was just saying he’s a charismatic guy.

Then Keys acknowledged that the president, hot though he may be, is taken — “Everyone knows Michelle is his girl/And together they run the world — and we’re gonna let it burn, let it burn,” and in these lyrics she seemingly confirmed the fear of many right-wing conspiracy theorists.

“Obama’s on fire,” concluded Keys. Good to know. Maybe Hank Williams Jr. could cover the song next.

We know Alicia meant well and all, but when she was rehearsing this over and over … did it not sound strange to her (at all) that she was using her lyrics to set our President on fire?

Not cool Alicia. Not cool.

Power-belter Jennifer Hudson held the distinct honor of ushering in President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama‘s first dance at the President’s second term Inauguration Ball in Washington, D.C. Monday (Jan 21).

Keeping true to [vocal] form, Mrs. Hudson wailed Al Green‘s soul standard “Let’s Stay Together” with ferocious intensity as if she was trying to be heard over the loud roar of a football stadium packed to capacity. Seriously, why does Jennifer Hudson have to sing every song like she’s leading the choir of a stereotypical Southern Baptist Church found in all of Tyler Perry movies?

Watch below as the Oscar Award-winner attacks “Let’s Stay Together” with an aggressive vigor that removes any semblance of romance and subtlety from the classic song and instead makes it sound just…well…loud. Less is always more, Jenny.

Besides Mrs. Hudson’s polarizing vocal performance, we think everyone will agree that this former American Idol alum looked amazing in a slinky, body-hugging black dress that accentuated her newly defined curves beautifully. Plus, “Let’s Stay Together” is Obama’s SONG!

Prior to the performance, Jennifer expressed her excited via twitter, tweeting: “Right now the President and First Lady will dance to Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together,” to be performed by… ME!!! Yes! Amazing night!”

During the closing moments of President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony Monday (Jan. 21) in Washington, D.C., Beyonce stunned the crowd with a rousing rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Which really is no surprise, considering Beyonce is Beyonce, and who — except for the haters (bye, haters!) — really expected her to not do a wonderful job?

But perhaps the biggest “surprise” moment from Beyonce’s performance came when she ripped her earpiece out in the middle of the song (right before those sacred high notes) and still sang the song flawlessly. Even Joe Biden was impressed!

As Gawker pointed out:

At this point in the performance, Beyoncé is, as they say, “singing blind.” She no longer has any way to tell if she is singing on key, except for the fact that she is Beyoncé and “off-key” is the one note that exists beyond her range.

While pointing out famous people in the crowd during today’s inauguration of President Obama, ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos made a fool of himself when he confused NBA Hall of Famer Bill Russell for actor Morgan Freeman.

“That’s Morgan Freeman, I think, right there on the Capitol steps,” said Stephanopoulos, who probably thinks all black people look alike. “No, Bill Russell, I’m sorry,” he said after he was quickly corrected by a member of the production crew.

Never mind that Morgan Freeman looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like Bill Russell, who is 6-feet-10 tall and was wearing a Boston Celtics cap, and looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like Morgan Freeman, who looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like Bill Russell.

Did we mention that Morgan Freeman and Bill Russell look ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like each other? Because they don’t.

President Barack Obama was officially sworn in to his second consecutive term over the weekend, which is pretty big news. But perhaps the biggest thing to happen this past weekend was First Lady Michelle Obama‘s much-talked-about new haircut, which President Obama himself called the “most significant” event of this weekend.

During a speech Sunday (Jan 20) at the National Building Museum following his official swearing in ceremony at the White House — ahead of today’s big inauguration — the President briefly addressed his wife’s new bangs.

“Now first of all. I love Michelle Obama,” he said, “And to address the most significant event of this weekend: I love her bangs. She looks good. She always looks good.”

Even Brian Williams talked about how the First Lady’s bangs have been the weekend’s biggest topic of discussion on the “Today” show:

There has been, to be perfectly honest, as much talk about her new haircut on her 49th bday this past week as any other aspect of this Inauguration. Whenever two or more people are gathered in this city… it happens everywhere you go, the conversation eventually comes to, ‘What do you think of the bangs?’ What else are we gonna talk about?

Piers Morgan sat down for an interview with radio host Alex Jones — the man who started a petition to deport him for supporting gun control laws — on his CNN show Monday night (Jan 7), and things got pretty heated, to say the least.

To say the most, Alex Jones lost his freakin’ mind on live television, and fired off into a loud tirade against Piers Morgan, shouting to him at one point (loudly, at the top of his lungs):

“I’m here to tell you, 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you get out there in the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?”

The whole thing is pretty bizarre. Whenever Morgan would try to ask Jones, a staunch advocate for gun rights, any questions, he would just blurt out crazy stuff about 9/11, Proazac, FBI crime statistics and more. He also made it a point to tell Morgan directly, “You’re not gonna get our guns!”

At one moment in the “interview” (if you can really call it that), Jones — who hosts his own self-titled conservative radio show based out of Austin, Texas — called Morgan a “hatchet man” of the New World Order and challenged the CNN host to a boxing match.

Sadly, Morgan didn’t accept Jones’ boxing challenge, nor did he accept Jones’ courteous offer to take him out shooting at a gun range so that Morgan could “become an American” and “join the Republic.”

Last month, Alex Jones launched a petition to deport Piers Morgan, over his views on favoring stricter gun control, which he has been pushing heavily ever since the infamous Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

The petition, which has now amassed over 100,000 signatures, argues that Morgan “is engaged in a hostile attack against the US Constitution” and demands that the British citizen be sent back to his home country due to his efforts to “undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.”

The morning after the interview aired, as video clips of Alex Jones’ ridiculous rant made its way across the Internet, Morgan told Politico that Jones “was the best advertisement for gun control you could wish for.”

“That kind of vitriol, hatred, and zealotry is really quite scary. I didn’t feel threatened by him, but I’m concerned that someone like him has that level of influence,” Morgan said. “There’s got to be a level of discourse that can rise above what happened last night. In a joint session Friday (Jan 4), Congress formally made the obvious official: President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden won last November’s election.

The Obama/Biden ticket reportedly pulled in 332 electoral votes, much more than the required 270, while Republican candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan won only 206.

According to AP, the final official vote tally from all 50 states including the District of Columbia showed that Obama won 65,899,660 votes (51%), and Romney had 60,932,152 votes, which amounts to 47.2 percent of the popular vote. Obama is the first president since Rep. Dwight Eisenhower to win back-to-back presidential elections with more than 51 percent of the popular vote, the AP reported.

But of course Mitt Romney would get “47 percent” of the popular vote!

This is the same guy that told a room full of wealthy donors at a “private” fundraising event in Florida that 47 percent of voters would vote for Obama “no matter what” because they are people “who are dependent upon government who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.”

“My job is not to worry about those people,” Romney said in the infamous video footage. “I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

In later interviews, ol’ Mittens tried to clear his name, telling Fox News, “Well, clearly in a campaign, with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question-and-answer sessions, now and then you’re going to say something that doesn’t come out right. In this case, I said something that’s just completely wrong.”

When asked by a reporter why he created a dummy of President Barack Obama holding a watermelon in his hand, Kentucky man Danny Hafley said, “I thought he might get hungry standing down here.”

Well, how considerate of him. Nothing racist here. He’s just a nice guy, offering to feed a dummy with the sweetest, delicious fruit he can find.

Of course that’s about as believable as Lindsay Lohan saying she was hospitalized not for drug abuse but for “exhaustion,” but hey, why let something like the truth get in the way of a good time, right?

While many might be quick to paint all of Kentucky with a racist, hick brush, it’s worth pointing out that one of Hafley’s neighbors gets it.

She believes the sign is in poor taste and that many blacks could potentially find it racist. Score one for this neighbor lady’s common sense.

The tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., has set the nation on an irreversible trajectory toward stricter gun control laws. More people want fewer people to have access to deadly weapons.

And now, the Mayors Against Illegal Guns coalition, is launching an aggressive gun control campaign with the help of celebrity support from stars like Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock, Cameron Diaz, Ellen DeGeneres and many more.

The coalition’s Demand a Plan call to action has three stated goals:

1. Require a criminal background check for every gun sold in America
2. Ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines
3. Make gun trafficking a federal crime, including real penalties for “straw purchasers”

Get this: The guy who spent a good chunk of the past 15 years of his life working his way up the political ladders to make a run for the presidency — twice!! — actually never really wanted to be president after all.

That’s the story that Tagg Romney, son of twice-failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney, is trying to push now. In a journalistic autopsy of the failed 2012 Romney presidential campaign, Tagg Romney says that his father didn’t really want to be president.

Well then, is it any wonder that he never made it to the White House?

Here’s the golden nugget from the Boston Globe’s report.

“He wanted to be president less than anyone I’ve met in my life. He had no desire to . . . run,” said Tagg, who worked with his mother, Ann, to persuade his father to seek the presidency. “If he could have found someone else to take his place . . . he would have been ecstatic to step aside. He is a very private person who loves his family deeply and wants to be with them, but he has deep faith in God and he loves his country, but he doesn’t love the attention.”

So basically, Tagg is trying to say it’s okay that Mitt lost cause he didn’t really want it anyway.

He didn’t want it so badly that he ran for president not just once, but twice and raised $931 million just for his 2012 campaign alone.

Yeah, that totally sounds like a man who wasn’t coveting the Oval Office, Air Force One and all of the other Presidential Perks.

Is Tagg just mad that Sasha and Malia get to spend another 4 years in the White House while he and his militia of brothers are left to stew back home in Massachusetts?

Depending on your political views, this is either a great step toward a more tolerant, progressive America or a horrible step backward into a lawless, doomed civilization.

The anti-gay “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” military policy has forced homosexuals serving in the military to live a closeted life if they wished to remain in the military.

It has prevented these servicemen and women from being who they truly are and it has meant that many qualified, decorated military personnel have been booted from service for being honest about their sexuality.

President Obama officially put an end to the discriminatory policy last year, and now, society is starting to see the real-world effects of the policy shift.

Matthew Phelps and Ben Schock are two gay men who are madly (and proudly) in love. Phelps, however, is an active marine, so prior to Obama’s end to DADT, he couldn’t openly share his relationship with Schock to the world.

So perhaps in a nod of thanks to Obama, Phelps proposed to his lover while the two were visiting the White House.

“Thanks for all the wonderful greetings and messages, and thanks to Barack Obama and Michelle Obama for lending us your home for the occasion!” Phelps wrote on Facebook.

“[Ten] years ago when I enlisted in the Marine Corps under DADT, I never imagined I would one day propose to the man of my dreams, much less as a Marine captain still on active duty and at the White House,” Phelps wrote in another post. “Thank you all so much for your love, support, and continued hard work to make our world a better one.”

Obama’s pro-gay rights stance has at times put him at odds with the black community, which has historically been opposed to gay marriage.

But the times are changing and gay is becoming the new normal. So cheers to Matthew Phelps and Ben Schock on their historic engagement at the White House.

According to the National Rifle Association, the most effective way to prevent another tragedy like what happened last Friday (Dec 14) at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut … is to place at least one armed guard at every single school in the United States America.

In a press conference reflecting on last week’s massacre in the small, tight-knight community of Newtown, NRA Vice President Wayne LaPierre rejected calls for more gun restrictions, instead stating that “gun-free” zones make schools less safe somehow.

Twenty first-graders were shot to death at Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday as a mentally disturbed 20-year-old man opened fire at the school, also killing six adult faculty members and his own mother, reportedly in her bed, before taking her car and driving to the school.

Following the shooting, the NRA has been keeping pretty quiet about the incident, but LaPierre had a lot to say about gun control and security in our nation’s schools.

“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun,” insisted LaPierre, who reportedly did not take any questions, and was interrupted twice by pro-gun control protestors.

LaPierre doesn’t believe that stricter gun laws can prevent “monsters” like Adam Lanza from committing mass shootings and similar crimes in the future, and wonders why students don’t have the protection of armed officials, like banks, for example.

“We need to have every single school in America immediately deploy a protect program proven to work, and by that I mean armed security,” LaPierre said.

“We must speak for the safety of our nation’s children,” he said. “We care about our money, so we protect our banks with armed guards. American airports, office buildings, power plants, courthouses, even sports stadiums, are all protected by armed security.

“We care about our president, so we protect him with armed Secret Service agents. Members of Congress works in offices surrounded by Capitol police officers, yet when it comes to our most beloved innocent and vulnerable members of the American family — our children — we as a society leave them every day utterly defenseless. And the monsters and the predators of the world know it and exploit it.”

“That must change now,” argued LaPierre, moments before being interrupted by a protester carrying a large pink sign proclaiming that the ‘NRA is killing our kids.’

“The truth is that our society is populated by an unknown number of genuine monsters — people so deranged, so evil, so possessed by voices and driven by demons that no sane person can possibly ever comprehend them.

“They walk among us every day. And does anybody really believe that the next Adam Lanza isn’t planning his attack on a school he’s already identified at this very moment?

“What if, when Adam Lanza started shooting his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday, he had been confronted by qualified, armed security?” he asked.

“Will you at least admit it’s possible that 26 innocent lives might have been spared? Is that so abhorrent to you that you would rather continue to risk the alternative?”

An armed guard at every single school in the America?

WTF?!? That has to be the dumbest idea in the history of the world’s dumbest ideas.

Sorry, but giving more crazy people guns (yes, we all have the ability to completely lose it at any moment) to shoot at other crazy people with guns is not the way to prevent mass shootings.

Why not just give every natural born American citizen a gun. Or even better, let the kids and teachers keep guns inside their desks!

Not too long after being elected Attorney General of Alabama in 1970, then 29-year-old Bill Baxley re-opened the investigation of infamous 16th Street Baptist Church Church bombing case — a racially-charged act of terrorism that resulted in the death of four innocent African American girls in 1963.

Unsurprisingly, Baxley’s commitment to the case caused him to be on the receiving end of numerous death threats from the Ku Klux Klan and other hate groups, who accused him of reopening the case for purely political reasons.

One Klan leader in particular — Edward R. Fields, a proud white supremacist — received the following letter, typed on an official letterhead, as a response from Baxley in February 1976:

The year after “Dr.” Fields received his letter from Attorney General Baxley, a member of the United Klans of America named Robert Chambliss was found guilty of the murders of the four young black girls. He reportedly remained in prison until his death in 1985.

Hopefully, that “Dr. Fields” character is somewhere rotting in hell along with Chambliss.

OMG, run for your lives because you’re about to get hit by the crazy mobile! A six month pregnant 28-year-old woman from Gilbert, Arizona went totally ape shit on her husband and ran him over with their jeep simply because “he didn’t vote,” which, based on her logic of politics, is the reason why President Obama was re-elected.

The woman, who’s name is Holly Solomon, was reportedly sitting in her car having a pretty heated argument about this year’s presidential elections with her spouse Daniel Solomon.

Holly was upset that President Barack Obama was re-elected and protested against her husband for not voting. Apparently, Holly believed her family would face hardship as a result of Obama’s re-election

Tired of the nonsense, Daniel stepped out of the vehicle and began walking away. This made the already frantic woman even more aggravated, and according to 911 callers this is when she stepped on it and ran him over, pinning him under the car.

Operator: “911 what’s your emergency?

Caller: “This woman just ran down her husband or boyfriend or husband in the parking lot! She got out of the car and she was screaming at him, started driving circles around him and finally he started trying to get away and she ran into him.”

Operator: “911 where is your emergency?”

Caller: “Yeah somebody just got rammed over here. The guy is on the ground right now and I can see the wife or girlfriend is on the phone right now.”

Solomon told police the incident was basically an accident and that she meant to hit the brakes, not run into her husband.

The man was immediately hospitalized and is currently in critical condition.

WTF?!

We knew this year’s election results would make waves, but…running people over?  That’s just CRAZY!

…Then again, she did vote for Mitt Romney. ;)

For the past four years, the Republican party has been the party of NO. They’ve thrown up every roadblock possible on the president’s initiatives and they’ve been determined to see President Obama fail.

But something amazing happened after Obama was re-elected by wide margins: The Republicans have started to become a bit more agreeable.

The Huffington Post rounded up some of the commentary from various conservative talking heads, including actual politicians themselves. It’s amazing what an electoral ass-kicking will do when it comes to changing attitudes.

Now, let’s sit back and see how long this concilatory tone lasts. Cause you know these Republicans are just waiting for their next gotcha! moment.

In the aftermath of an election you always have the winners who thank all their supporters and of course the losers who look for an immediate place to shift the blame.

Mitt Romney‘s running mate Paul Ryan does just that in his first post election interview with Wisconsin’s WISC-TV Monday (Nov 12) when he attributed Romney’s loss to unexpected “urban” voter turnout.

Oh, yes he did.

Paul Ryan went on to say that this demographic of voters, and not policy, was in fact the reason why he and Romney did not claim victory in the 2012 election.

“Especially in urban areas,” Ryan said, “which gave President Obama the big margin to win this race…I don’t think we lost it on those budget issues, especially on Medicare – we clearly didn’t lose it on those issues.”

Denial may be a strong word, but considering that overall voter turnout was actually lower in 2012 than the 2008 election, it is fair to say Paul Ryan is reaching here.

With frivolous arguments such as these, it is easy to see that Paul Ryan is scrambling to defend his thoughts on policy.

In the end, this may bother some people but at least this guy isn’t making comments like these from the White House. And thank God for that!

States highlighted in red mark where petitions for secession from the U.S. have been filed

Following last week’s re-election of President Barack Obama, residents in more than forty U.S. states have filed petitions to secede from the country via the government’s “We the People” program on the White House’s official website.

The states include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

According to the rules posted on the White House website, in order for a petition to become valid, it must reach 150 signatures within 30 days, and for the petition to receive a response from the Obama administration, it must reach at least 25,000 signatures within 30 days.

The Obama administration explains on the website, “If a petition meets the signature goal within the designated period, the White House will respond to that petition in a timely fashion.”

Thanks to the power of social media and the fact that this is pretty big news, several states — including Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia — have already crossed or are close to crossing the 25,000 threshold.

Several states have already passed the 25,000 signature threshold that initiates a response from the Obama administration

The first petition for secession was filed last Wednesday (Nov 7), the day after the election, by a Louisiana man who simply called himself “Michael E” who quoted the Declaration of Independence. That petition has over 30,000 signatures. It reads:

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

“…Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government…”

A petition posted on Nov. 9th from “Micah H.” of Arlington, Texas had nearly 90,000 signatures at the time this article was published. It reads:

The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

Conversely, there are several petitions from people who want to distance themselves from the states who want to secede, like this one from “Caleb M.” out of Austin, Texas:

Austin Texas continues to suffer difficulties stemming from the lack of civil, religious, and political freedoms imposed upon the city by less liberally minded Texans. It is entirely feasible for Austin to operate as its own state, within the United States, in the event that Texas is successful in the current bid to secede. It is important for Austin to remain in the union as to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers. We would also like to annex Dublin Texas, Lockhart Texas, & Shiner Texas.

Then there’s this one petition, filed on November 12th by “Douglas H.” from California, requesting that the government strip citizenship from and deport those who signed the secession petitions:

Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported.

Another petition started by “Joshua L.” from Birmingham, Alabama also requesting that the government deport the people who signed petitions for secession has amassed close to 10,000 signatures.

Of course, since unilateral secession was ruled unconstitutional by the Sepreme Court many years ago, these petitions for secession should simply be looked at as nothing more than a collective temper tantrum thrown by a large group of whiny cry babies who are still butt hurt over Mitt Romney losing the election.

Another four years of President Obama can’t be that bad, can it?

Have we all forgotten about the 8 years we had to deal with that dumb-ass George W. Bush guy? Now we’re even.

Denise Helms, a 22-year-old woman from California, was fired from her job this week, and is now being investigated by the Secret Service after she posted not only a racist, but also threatening, statement about President Barack Obama to her Facebook page.

Shortly after President Obama’s re-election was announced, Helms wrote on Facebook:

“Another 4 years of this Nigger. Maybe he will get assassinated this term.”

The woman’s racist comment instantly went viral, after her employer found out about it, Helms lost her job at Cold Stone Creamery in Turlock, California.

“We found her comments to be very disgusting, and they do not reflect our opinions here,” Turlock Cold Stone Creamery director Chris Kegle told the Modesto Bee. “We never saw anything from her at work like those comments.”

Kegle says when he arrived at the store Thursday morning, there were at least 20 or more angry voice mails waiting for him about Helms.

“We made the decision because of her comments, but also the community feedback,” he said. “We are very into working with the community and doing community service. So when your community does not like you because of an employee, that’s bad. We have a business to run.”

Sacramento’s Fox 40 News caught up with the racist bitch Helms Wednesday, and asked her how she felt about the situation. Her response was truly unbelievable:

“I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal,” she said. “The assassination part is kind of harsh. I’m not saying like I would go do that or anything like that, by any means, but if it was to happen, I don’t think I’d care one bit.”

Helms had deleted her original post, but after discovering she was a viral hit on the Internet once again — this time, for her TV interview — she took to her Facebook to defend herself:

“So apparently my post last night about Obama got onto Twitter and Fox 40 came and interviewed me cause apparently a lot of people in Sacramento think I’m crazy and racist. WOW is all I got to say!! I’m not racist and I’m not crazy. just simply stating my opinion.!!!”

Helms has since deactivated her Facebook account, but that won’t stop the Secret Service from coming after her.

Agent Scott Gillingham from the Sacramento, CA Secret Service office said that he would be reviewing the situation, as ALL threats, even perceived threats, are taken seriously and investigated.

If the Secret Service were to determine Helms’ threats to be legitimate, she could face a felony under U.S. Code Section 871 of the law, which states:

“Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”

A man from Charlotte, North Carolina was arrested back in September after he threatened to kill president Obama in a series of Twitter messages posted the week of the Democratic National Convention, which was held in Charlotte.

The Smoking Gun reported that 21-year-old Donte Jamar Sims was charged in a felony criminal complaint in the U.S. District Court after he admitted to Secret Service Agents that “he hated President Obama” and acknowledged that he “understood what he was doing and that it was wrong.”

Sim’s tweets were discovered by a Secret Service intelligence specialist, and were published over a 15-minute period.

One post said, “Well Ima Assassinate president Obama this evening !…Gotta get this monkey off my chest while he’s in town -_-” while another read, “Ima hit president Obama with that Lee Harvey Oswald swag,” an obvious reference to the man who assassinated President John F. Kennedy

Another message claimed that the Secret Service would be “defenseless once I aim the Assault Rifle at Barack’s Forehead… F* the #DNC.” When a Twitter follower asked Sims if he was serious, he replied, “as a Heart Attack.”

Agent Gillingham said that it is common for the Secret Service to receive tips about death threats about government officials on the Internet. “We get a lot of these kinds of referrals, especially off of the Internet,” he said.

Denise Helms hasn’t been charged with anything yet, and it is isn’t clear if she will even be charged at all. She told Fox 40 that she didn’t know a simple Facebook post could land her in prison.

“Okay … but what did I do wrong? That’s fine if they want to,” she told the Fox 40 reporter. “But I don’t understand what I did wrong.”

Denise just doesn’t get it, y’all.

Mitt Romney supporters have been seen mourning the loss of their preferred candidate from the 2012 Presidential election, and the dejected sentiment that most are carrying seems to be reflecting in Romney’s presence in social media.

Though Romney’s numbers always paled in comparison to the President’s he still experienced a rapid growth leading up to the election. He has amassed over 1.7 million followers on Twitter and over 12 million likes on Facebook. (FYI: The president has over 33 million Facebook likes and over 23 million Twitter followers)

However, today and the most recent days since the election, online support for Romney is plummeting at an extremely fast rate. Since the election, Mitt has thanked his supporters with messages and photos from the campaign.

In return for his thank you’s, Romney’s Facebook likes have been falling at a rate of over 15,000 each day since the election.

In fact, in the three days following the 2012 election Romney’s Facebook likes dropped by over 50,000.

Whether this is upset supporters giving up hope or inflated bot accounts dropping cannot be said for sure.

It is most likely a combination of both, but either way it shows just how quickly a candidate can be forgotten even in the age of social media.

Of course the ignorance that spews from both sides during the political elections also made its mark during this year’s election. In the end we are left with some pretty hilarious memes to remind us of Former Governor Romney’s Presidential aspirations.

For those who are loyal Romney supporters it may be tough to watch the ship sink as others jump for safety.

It’s noble to figuratively die with the cause but then there is a certain level of Internet troll who will remain in the trenches continuing support for the lost cause.

Posts like this from Facebook user — whose embedded spammish link leads you to a random DJ page — embody this persistent nature:

“Mitt Romney will come back stronger next term! Here’s a speech of all his goals during the next four years to prove to America he should be our leader <3“

As you can see, the losing candidate’s page is somewhat of a dead zone so the falling number of users who are supporting is fully justified. To those who are jumping ship it is not to late to rally as a nation and support our President going forward in his second term.

For most, President Barack Obama‘s second election victory this past Tuesday night (Nov 6) was a happy and momentous occasion. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for everyone. Especially for white people.

We hate to generalize an entire race, because there were plenty of white people who voted for President Obama … but the ones who didn’t, and voted for that loser Mitt Romney were saddened when the electoral college chose Obama as the winner of the 2012 election.

He’s been re-elected as President of the United States of America, but it’s not the power or the prestige that keeps President Barack Obama going. What motivates Obama to keep pressing onward and forward is knowing that his work is inspiring and influencing young people to act and change their own lives.

You see, the Obama victory wasn’t just a personal victory. By turning out blacks, Hispanics and young people in record numbers for two elections in a row, Team Obama’s grassroots efforts have totally redefined the demographics of this country.

Speaking to a crowd of his own campaign staff in Chicago, Obama wore his heart on his sleeve as he explained how he felt.

“What you guys accomplished will go on in annals of history…but the most important thing you need to know is your journey’s just beginning. You’re just starting,” Obama said. “That’s been my source of hope. It’s been why the last four years when people ask me how do you put up with this or that, the frustrations of Washington, I think of what you guys are doing. That’s the source of my hope, my strength and my inspiration.”

Mitt Romney‘s most “Clueless” supporter Stacey Dash wants you to know that she is “disappointed” in the results of this year’s election … however, she still supports America’s decision to give President Barack Obama a second term, and is hopeful that he will lead the country into “becoming the great UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that thrives.”

Well, how nice of you, Miss Dash. We still give you the side-eye for supporting Mittens in the first place, but we accept your apology … or whatever you call this 1,344 word essay you sent to TMZ:

The other day I woke up and watched my daughter sleep, so sound, so perfectly at peace. A thousand thoughts and memories flashed through my mind.

I remember being a child of that age, with no concept of adulthood and the responsibilities we take on with maturity. Now I know
the weight of those responsibilities, of being a parent, a working woman, and it frightened me.

As a single Mother my main concern is for providing for my children and myself. It is especially important to me that they have the opportunity to attend college. This is what I’ve worked so hard for.

I have, like many other citizens of the United States, been worried and upset by the tremendous downturn in the economy, and the slow path to recovery.

I freely admit that presidential politics was not something I had much time for before the 2000 election. With Gore and Bush fighting out to the last hanging chad, it was an experience that made me turn even further away from politics.

Two wars and a recession later I became newly invested in presidential politics by Barack Obama. I voted for Obama in 2008. Yes, I was part of the overwhelming majority that swept President Obama into his historic election!

I hadn’t known anything about him until he earned the Democratic nomination. He’s brilliant, understated, ethical, a great husband and father. President Obama will always be remembered as one of the greatest leaders this United States of America has ever known.

The fact is, our country gives us the right to vote for whomever we choose. Moreover, I am not a spokeswoman for all women, or for minorities, or for single mothers… I am only one vote. Together we all choose who will lead our country.

At the end of the day we are in this together. This is Our American Family. I do not want to be a part of the hateful voices insulting each other. I want to be a part of the voices that helps shape the future. Don’t you?

Perhaps I publically endorsed Romney from a slightly naive place, thinking that I could speak my voice without being criticized in such racially charged and hateful tones.

People get it wrong. My vote for Romney isn’t a vote against Obama. That’s not how full participants in the democratic process operate. We vote for candidates and we vote for issues.

Like most Americans I was insulted with the idea that Obama was only elected because he was black, that people of color wanted one of their own, regardless of what sort of leader he would make.

The same idiots make the argument that white guilt is why so many Americans voted Obama into office in the first place. That rhetoric is what helps divide this great nation.

I didn’t vote for Clinton because he was white and neither did anyone else. The skin color of candidates needs to be the last thing discussed, if at all.

I’ve been fortunate enough in my career to have earned a considerable income. I am a fiscal conservative. I like the simplicity of the plan to lower taxes. I feel I’ve paid out a substantial amount over the 20 plus years I’ve been working.

I’m also a woman. And as a single Mother who happens to be half-Bajan and half-Mexican, I have concerns, which cover many topics and issues. I haven’t heard much from anyone (including the people heaping insults my way) about the great things Obama HAS done for our country, like repairing the infrastructure of our highways, bridges and train rails and creating a lot of jobs by this program.

I am so grateful for what his administration has done with the Settlement Act of 2010, which took great bipartisan effort to close a painful chapter in American history. That alone sets me apart from some people in the Republican Party. But it cannot be overemphasized that this happened due to bipartisanship between both parties.

Republicans and Democrats both made painful compromises and stayed up past their bedtime. They forced the democratic process to work and the will of the people was done! That’s what attracted me to Romney. He had this kind of bipartisan success as governor of MA.

I also don’t understand why more people aren’t acknowledging the good that has come about thanks to Romney’s Massachusetts medical coverage for all citizens. In addition, Romney’s business acumen is sterling. Our country needs a savvy business manager with the ability to work on both sides of the aisle.

Paul Ryan is another brilliant mind with a viable plan for the economy of this country. They’ve injected so much energy into the race. We need that ambition and focus to get our country back on its feet.

That said, I haven’t heard any conservatives but Colin Powell giving sufficient credit to Obama for the unprecedented action it took to take out Osama Bin Laden. If anyone can be blamed for the free-fall of our economy, it is this coward Bin Laden and his psychopathic henchmen.

I voted for the Romney ticket because I was inspired by their promises of working tirelessly to create a strong economy as their first objective. I have other issues that are close to my heart like equality, and women’s rights, and the benefits of strong public schools.

I realize on these issues I’m entirely progressive. There are plenty of moderate Republicans who feel exactly the way I do on these issues. I don’t think we have to trade one for the other.

The main objective of our nation must be repairing the economy. All our social concerns must come after this. Without a stable economy our great nation falls.

My support for Romney came with acknowledgements of the work that they have done, but also for the work they will do in the future. I hold each of these men to the highest standards.

In the event that Romney wins the election, I expect them to elevate the platform of the GOP and become more inclusive, less exclusive and more inventive, especially as it comes to social issues including women’s health, gay rights, equal pay and immigration.

Ok, this is a lot to hope for but if we insist that the politicians that represent us do their job, for the and by the people, anything and everything is possible. Presidents put together outstanding cabinets and this is where a greater perspective is realized.

In the event that Obama is re-elected I expect them to work a whole lot harder to bridge the divide between political parties, end the gridlock and get America back to work! Welfare reform is also in order.

An elderly woman stands in the same grocery line pinching pennies to buy a can of soup while a woman is buying marshmallow fluff with food stamps. As times have changed, welfare policy needs to keep stride, just like every other issue.

Ultimately I know that what Stacey Dash thinks about who will be the next president of the United States isn’t that important in the scheme of things- but I feel a desperation for the country.

The fact is, that when the two parties are not working together, it makes things worse! Bring me a leader from either party that can get this unstuck. Non-partisanship is what will get Americans back to work and the homeless back on their feet.

Whoever is the next president must break gridlock and do the will of the people. Stop pandering to partisan politics while our great nation flounders.

Ten hours later

President Obama has been re-elected. I congratulate him. No he was not my choice, but he was the choice of the majority of our country. I do respect and appreciate the country came together to make a choice. So for that I applaud Americans.

Although I am disappointed that Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan did not win. I am hopeful that President Obama will lead us to becoming the great UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that thrives.

After President Obama trounced Mitt Romney in the polls, many in the Republican party have spent the day after sounding like Michael Jackson in “Human Nature”: WHY? WHY? DID THEY DO MITT THAT WAY?

The straightforward answer is something along the lines of this: the coalition of old, white, anti-abortion, anti-immigration men isn’t gonna cut it anymore.

But let’s take a look back at some of the wonderful blunders and goofs that helped seal Mitt Romney’s fate.

Mitt Romney Refused to Release His Tax Returns

While President Obama didn’t hesitate to release his tax returns for the past 5 years, Mitt Romney held off from releasing any of his tax returns beyond 2010. Why? Because he didn’t want everyone to see how rich of a bitch he is. Which is silly.

How can you run on your success as a reason to elect you to the White House and at the same time run away from revealing the specifics about your wealth? Something’s fishy in Mitt’s bank accounts.

Mitt Romney Outsourced His Spanish-Language Outreach to His Son

One of the recurring themes most pundits have agreed upon in their post-mortems of Mitt Romney’s failed bid for the presidency is his abysmal performance with Hispanic voters. Say what you will about Mayor Bloomberg’s awkward Spanish, but at least it comes from his heart.

Mitt Romney outsourced his Latino outreach to his youngest son, Craig Romney, as seen above in a video from the primary battles in January. To be fair to the Romney clan, Craig’s Spanish IS pretty damn good. But still, he’s not the one running for president, his dad is.

Mitt Romney Is Easily Tied to Shit

People really had a field day comparing Mitt Romney to, well, shit. His opponents had a field day with it, as the AFSCME ran a campaign that read “Without Unions, Mitt Happens.”

Here’s the kicker though. Mitt Happens was actually a campaign slogan Romney used in his race for the Massachusetts governor seat back in 2002. So he pretty much shot himself in the foot long before the presidential election.

Romney gravely miscalculated how effective a browning up would be in the election this year. He appeared for a Univision event looking bronzed and caramelized, but it didn’t move Latino voters an inch. So Romney pretty much went and got all dolled up for nothing.

Mitt Romney is by nature, a very awkward man. But throw him into a crowd of black folks and watch his awkwardness levels triple.

Exhibit A, this clip from his 2008 presidential run when he ran into a crowd of black youngin’s and proceeded to reference Baha Men’s 2000 hit “Who Let the Dogs Out?” which was clearly an odd choice. Is Mitt Romney not familiar with any Lil’ Wayne songs or something?

Waste of human space Bill O’Reilly joins a long list of people who refuse to graciously accept that the best man won the 2012 Presidential race fair and square.

The night of the election, shortly before President Barack Obama was projected the winner, the Fox News host said that if the President were to win, it would be because the demographics of the country have changed. And also, Hurricane Sandy.

“I feel like an oracle,” Bill O’Reilly said. “If he wins tonight, Hurricane Sandy is one of the reasons,” he said.

But back to those “changing demographics,” which O’Reilly believes greatly influenced Obama’s re-election.

“We’re changing demographically,” he said. “We’re changing our attitudes. We’re becoming more like Western Europe … and I’m not going to generalize about any ethnic group, it’s a mentality that pervades across society … some people are saying, ‘I don’t want to do it, but I want them to do it for me.’”

“Obama wins because it’s not a traditional America anymore. The white establishment is now the minority,” he said. “And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff.

“You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama. Overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama’s way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?”

“The demographics are changing,” he said. “It’s not a traditional America anymore.”

Puerto Rican voters were asked a two-question referendum Tuesday (Nov 6):

1. Do you want to keep Puerto Rico’s status as a U.S. territory?

2. Do you want to become a U.S. state, declare independence or have sovereign free association?

Based on 75,188 votes, 53 percent of Puerto Ricans said they did not want to remain a U.S. territory. Meanwhile, 47 percent (67,304 voters) supported the status quo. Those numbers are with 243 of 1,643 precincts reporting late Tuesday, according to NevadaAppeal.com.

On the second question, 65 percent voted for U.S. statehood, while 31 percent voted for sovereign free association and 4 percent chose independence.

Currently, Puerto Ricans have U.S. citizenship, can vote in U.S. primaries, but cannot vote in the general U.S. election. However, they pay no federal income tax.

President Obama said he would respect the will of the Puerto Rican people, but any change would require approval by the U.S. Congress.

According to 11Alive News out of Statesboro, Georgia, the woman made an extremely racist statement about the President on her Facebook profile.

“That damn nigger got re-elected President…. God Bless the USA!!!”

After someone criticized the woman for making such a statement, she called them a “nigger lover.”

Apparently, the woman making the offensive statements worked for a family medical practice, and several e-mails to 11Alive News expressed serious concern about her racially charged Facebook rant =.

“Are African Americans safe at this office? Does this young lady care for African Americans as she does all patients?” asked one e-mail.

11Alive News reports that the woman had been terminated from her job as of Wednesday morning (Nov 7) after her bosses caught wind of her statements. The practice where the woman worked released a formal statement later that afternoon:

Today, we were saddened to learn that one of our clinic employees used her personal Facebook account to make offensive remarks. The views she expressed were of her personal opinion and do not reflect the views of the clinic. We are giving thoughtful consideration to the matter and will take action as deemed appropriate.

Really though, lady? We’re going into the year 2013 soon. Did you just have to use the N-Word? Was it REALLY worth it?

Donald Trump and Victoria Jackson weren’t the only sore losers angry over President Obama‘s win last night. Fox News contributor Karl Rove joined in on the sore loser competition by disputing his own network’s decision to call the election for President Obama after he won the key battleground state of Ohio.

Rove called Fox News’ decision “premature,” saying, “we’ve got to be careful about calling things when we have like 991 vote separating the two candidates and a quarter of the vote left to count,” and warning that Fox should be “very cautious about intruding in this process.”

After a brief pause, Rove’s fellow Fox anchors Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly shared a laugh. “Uh, thank you!” said Baier, followed by Kelly’s hilarious, “That’s awkward!”

Awkward, indeed.

At that point, just to prove to Rove that the election was over, and Obama had really won, Kelly walked across the building, with cameras following her, to speak to the analysts backstage crunching numbers.

“We’re actually quite comfortable with the call in Ohio,” one of them said, while another said he was “99.9 percent” certain that President Obama had been re-elected. “There just aren’t enough Republican votes left for Mitt Romney to get there,” added another.

“Well, there you have it,” Kelly said. “They seem very confident.”

BuzzFeed called Rove’s epic meltdown “The Best TV of Election Night,” while the New York Times said Kelly’s “interrogation” of the Fox analysts was “the most bizarre on-air encounter of election night.”

The NY Times continued:

However odd, the exchange perfectly captured one of the persistent sources of strain between the media and Republicans throughout the presidential campaign. Ever skeptical of a media bias toward Democrats, conservatives complained repeatedly that polls this year were showing an erroneous and biased edge for Mr. Obama.

Karl Rove may have looked like an ass … but it definitely made some damn good television! Fox News, and especially Karl Rove, don’t ever change.
