Angie Gress, the daughter of Ariel Castro, who kidnapped and held captive three young women, says she has severed ties with her father.

“He is dead to me,” Gress said of Castro, who reportedly beat and raped the girls, in an interview with CNN.

She also added that she knew nothing of the shocking activity that was taking place in her childhood home.

“There will be no visits; there will be no phone calls,” she said. “He can never be Daddy again. I have no sympathy for the man.”

“I wonder this whole time, how he could be so good to us, but he took young women, little girls, someone else’s babies, away from these families and over the years never felt enough guilt to just give up and let them free.”

Gregg added that she “feels so much sorrow” for the girls.

All three women disappeared around the same time in roughly the same location in Southwest, Cleveland about ten years ago.

In 2002, Michelle Knight, 20, became the first young woman to be captured. The following year, Amanda Berry was abducted at the age of 17. In 2004, Georgina DeJesus was kidnapped at just 14-years-old.

Remarkably, the house were they were kept was barely three miles from where they went missing. However, the house had been so quiet that some believed no one lived there.

Though a few neighbors have now spoken about strange occurrences in the house — like a little girl peering from an upstairs window, and sealed up windows — few inquires as to what was going on in the house were made.

It has been disputed whether or not police adequately investigated calls regarding the mysterious house.

Berry gave birth to Castro’s daughter six years ago.

James Holmes, the man accused of being responsible for the Dark Knight Massacre, will pursue a not guilty by reason of insanity verdict when his case goes to trial this month.

“Mr. Holmes intends to tender a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity,” attorneys for Holmes said in a court document filed on Tuesday.

Of course he’s mentally insane. He shot up a movie theater, killing adults and young children. It’s just a question of whether or not he should be executed or given life in prison.

Last year on July 20, Holmes is believed to have shot and killed 12 people and injured 70 during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colorado.

Mass shooters of this caliber often take their own lives at the end of their killing sprees and seldom face rotting in prison afterwards, so a trial like this one isn’t too common.

In March, Judge William Sylvester denied Holmes’ attorney’s request for more time to build an insanity defense and enter a plea of not guilty on his behalf.

It April, the Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler announced that the prosecution is seeking the death penalty for the 25-year-old.

“In this case, for James Egan Holmes, justice is death,” George said.

He faces 24 counts of first-degree murder and 116 counts of attempted murder. Holmes will also face charges for having explosive devices.

A man from Michigan recently found out he was facing up to 15 years in prison after he was convicted of raping with two of his pet dogs on two separate occasions. The same (unfortunate) person caught him both times.

According to Michigan Live News, 37-year-old Kurtis Peterson, a convicted sex offender, was first caught “penetrating” one of his dogs — a bluee heeler — by a woman named Joyce Yeaw at his apartment in Muskegon, Mich. on his bed in April 2012.

At the time, Peterson told her he was “just hugging his dog.” (Right…) But he was busted again by Joyce just two months later when she was returning keys she borrowed from his roommate, and she walked in on him having sex with his pit bull.

This time she called the cops (honestly she should have called them the first time…) and Peterson was arrested. Yeaw said, “He was having sex with the dog, it was disgusting.”

When Peterson was questioned by police, he claimed he was “just playing with the dog” in the April incident, but he became “sexually aroused from accidental contact from the animal’s rear,” which led to the later assault.

It isn’t known whether Peterson sexually assaulted his pets on other occasions, but he was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in 1996 in another Michigan county, so yeah … he probably did. The sick bastard.

Back in March, Peterson pleaded no contest to “the abominable and detestable crime against nature,” also known as sodomy or bestiality, and on Monday (Apr 22), he was handed a one to fifteen year prison term by 14th Circuit Judge Timothy Hicks.

Judge Hicks said that he went above and beyond state guidelines in his ruling because “I fear for what he might do in the community,” and also, Peterson hasn’t been adjusting well to life in jail.

Hicks said since Peterson’s been in jail, “there have been many complaints of unwanted and inappropriate touching,” which literally proves his point.

As the world plunges further into economic ruin, you would think that making fun of those that have nothing and are out on the street would be off limits. Not so for a certain group of sorority girls.

According to Jezebel, members of Indiana University’s Kappa Delta chapter recently threw a homeless-themed party (yes, you read that right) in which the girls reportedly pretended to be begging for food and even applied fake dirt to their faces … just so, you know, they could look more homeless.

If that’s not enough, they also wore signs around their necks that read things like ”Will Twerk 4 [indistinguishable]” and “Give me a nickel and I’ll tickle your pickle.” (Yup, they joked about someone being so hungry and desperate that they have had to resort to performing sex acts just so they can eat.)

The Indiana University student who provided Jezebel with the shocking photos had this to say:

Just so you know, Bloomington, IN (home of IU) has a disproportionately high homeless population. They’re typically the target of a lot of shit from students. They get treated pretty badly. It’s actually really sad—one of the places homeless people tend to hang out is right across from the most popular student bar in Bloomington, and on pretty much any given night, you can hear students loudly ridiculing the homeless population while they sip their drinks.

Students will be out canning for money for their big national philanthropies, but when a homeless person asks for a quarter, they’ll tell him or her to get a job. The greek system here does do a lot of philanthropic work, but homelessness, which is one of the biggest local problems we have, and a problem that the greek system has the opportunity to really help, is completely ignored.

In sad but true news, a frightening story about modeling scouts recruiting women being treated for eating disorders has emerged.

The Local is reporting that the Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders in Sweden has had to fend off modeling agency recruiters.

“We think this is repugnant. People have stood outside our clinic and tried to pick up our girls because they know they are very thin,” the facility’s chief doctor Anna-Maria was quoted as saying.

So let’s get this straight. Women who are going through an intense program so that they can learn that they don’t have to be super thin to be beautiful just so they can be approached by someone who tells them the exact opposite?

The last incident took place a year ago, when the clinic was forced to change its procedures for the walks that its patients take. One of the patients who was approached by a scout was so ill she was sitting in a wheelchair at the time.

In one incident, an agent with one of Sweden’s largest modeling agencies approached a 14-year-old girl and left a business card.

Unfortunately, given the state of the fashion industry, this isn’t that surprising. Who could forget the jaw-dropping book that was released earlier this month that was written by a former Vogue Australia editor?

In the book, “The Vogue Factor,” Kristie Clements revealed that some models ate tissues and starved themselves for days to stay super slim.

So there you have it folks. If you want to gorge yourself on Kleenex and have someone think you look beautiful when you’re battling a dangerous illness, get into fashion. They want people like you NOW.

Well this is an interesting dilemma: Is it worse to be considered a child molester or a racist? One Texas teacher opted to out herself as the latter to avoid being pegged as the former.

Esther Irene Stokes, 61, was charged with inappropriately touching a 6-year-old girl at the Northwest Preparatory Academy Charter School in Humble, Texas.

“The victim said that she was in the classroom alone with the teacher and that the teacher touched her on the outside of her clothes, on what she called her ‘private part,’ her vaginal area,” a detective told KHOU.

The whole incident came to light when the girl’s mother was watching an episode of “Law & Order,” which dealt with molestation.

“[While watching the show] I start telling my kids, if anyone touch you like that let me know,” the mother told KHOU. That’s when her daughter burst out crying and confessed that her teacher had touched her inappropriately.

But Stokes claims she’s innocent because she’s actually a racist and generally tries to avoid touching black children.

The girl’s mother, however, says that claim is utter bullshit because the school is majority black, so if Stokes had a problem with black children, it’s highly unlikely she’d work at that particular school in the first place.

Despite Stokes’ attempt to deflect the charges by claiming racism, the school has decided to terminate her after completing an internal investigation.

This story is almost a month old … but who cares? THIS SH*T IS NUTS! (No pun intended)

A prostitute — who probably calls herself an “escort” in her listing on Backpage.com (think Craigslist, but for hookers) — was arrested and charged with attempted murder back in March after she nearly bit a man’s penis off during a sexual encounter at an Orange County Hotel in Florida.

Now, after reading that line, I’m sure you have a few questions running through that innocent little inquiring mind of yours.

First off, did the woman look like that mugshot before or after the man agreed to pay her for sex?

Secondly, what. the. f*ck?

To answer those burning questions, here’s how it all went down, according to the Orlando Sentinel:

Deputies were called to the Crestwood Suites on University Boulevard after multiple 911 callers “reported screaming and growling sounds from a room on the second floor” of the hotel.

They arrived to find the victim “covered in a significant amount of blood, with numerous bite wounds,” the report states. He was rushed to the Orlando Regional Medical Center trauma center.

The man had “significant” bites to his penis and testicles, the report states, as well as damage to his leg, abdomen, chest and fingers.

His alleged attacker, Priscilla Vaughn, “was nude, and had blood around her mouth, which had spread to her face and head,” the report states, adding Vaughn “growled and snarled” at deputies.

The victim later told deputies his attacker was an escort he’d hired for Monday evening. After dinner, they returned to her hotel room, where they drank alcohol and Vaughn used Ecstasy, the report states.

During consensual sex, the escort “became more aggressive, and she began to bite his genitals. He described it as if she were trying to eat his penis and testicles,” the report says.

The victim tried to get away, the report states, but Vaughn “was too powerful and he could not get her off of him.” She also took his cell phone away when he tried to call for help, the report says.

The Sentinel is not naming the victim because of the sexual nature of the crime.

When deputies searched the room later, they found “a significant amount of blood, knocked over furniture, and strewn belongings,” as well as a sex toy that had been severely damaged by bite marks.

“The damage to the toy indicates a desire to cause severe damage,” the report says, adding it appeared the damage to the toy was done prior to the attack.

Vaughn, 29, faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, false imprisonment

In addition to a second-degree temporary murder charge, 29-year-old Priscilla Vaughn also reportedly faces charges of false imprisonment and tampering with the victim’s ability to contact law enforcement. She was jailed without bail.

The popular furniture chain IKEA was forced to recall at least 17,000 containers of “moose lasagna” from its stores in Europe after traces of pork were found in a batch that was tested in Belgium.

A spokeswoman for IKEA said the product had only been on sale for a month before it was pulled off the shelves on March 22nd.

What makes this scandal even worse, is the fact that IKEA didn’t announce the withdrawal to the public until a Swedish newspaper reported about it Saturday (Apr 6).

IKEA spokeswoman Tina Kardum admitted the company found out Friday that a follow-up test in Belgium confirmed that their moose lasagna contained 1.6 percent pork. “We have more information now. That’s why we choose to inform now,” she said.

Now. Like us, you might be wondering … ‘WTF IS MOOSE LASAGNA?’ and ‘WHY ARE PEOPLE BUYING FOOD FROM A FURNITURE STORE???’

Well, to answer that first question, according to the Associated Press, moose meet is “common in Sweden though it’s not typically used in lasagna.” No official word on why “moose lasagna” is a thing, or why it was such a big deal that it had pork in it though.

No answer for that second question either. But what makes this “pork meat found in the moose lasagna” scandal even MORE worse (like it could already get any worse, right?) is the fact that this isn’t the first time IKEA has had to recall food products from its stores.

Just six weeks ago, the Swedish furniture giant was caught up in yet another scandal over its food products when some of their meatballs tested positive for horse DNA in several European stores. A week later, they had to recall some almond cakes after tests revealed they contained a bacteria that is normally found in poop.

Dear IKEA: More furniture. Less food. Plzkthxbye.

A man has finally been sentenced for a brutal crime he committed over 20 years ago.

According to the Associated Press, Philip Ward killed his six week pregnant girlfriend, Veronica Bowen, on a New York City rooftop in 1989. At the time, he and Bowen had two children together.

The 46-year-old, pleaded guilty to the crime last month and was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison on Friday (Apr 5).

Bowen’s naked body was discovered on the roof of a Manhattan apartment building. Eerily enough her head had been cut off and it was never recovered.

So what took police so long to sentence this monster?

Investigators apparently did not have enough evidence to convict him until recently, when he confessed. According to Ward’s lawyer Franklin Rothman, he decided it was time to own up to the crime so that he could build a better relationship with his children.

“I killed Veronica Bowen,” Ward confessed in a New York prison.

Police now know that Ward and Bown were having severe domestic issues at the time of her death. The two, who met as teens while residing at a foster home, were raising their children together until she moved out of the apartment they both shared.

Bowen, 21, is believed to have been visiting her children on the night she was murdered. Ward purportedly believed that the child she was carrying belonged to another man.

Ward reportedly beat Bowen with a pipe and then stabbed her with a dagger. According to the prosecutor in the case, Bowen cried out “I’m sorry!” as she was being beaten by Ward; and in one heated final act of rage and aggression, he cut off her head with a knife.

He then scrubbed himself of evidence using the building’s water tower and changed his clothing. He also removed the victim’s clothing and trashed them.

Bowen was initially reported missing because her body was not discovered until 15 days after she was killed. Though Ward told investigators he buried her head in Riverside Park, they have yet to find it.

At Ward’s sentencing, Bowen’s sister said that the woman loved being a mother, adored her kids and was deeply in love with Ward, whom she trusted until the end.

“I am haunted by thoughts of what she must have felt in her last moments,” Bowen’s sister said to the judge. “I wish I could hug her again, talk to her, hear her voice and see her lovely face. She was my best friend. To die is one thing, but to die like that is the worst thing I can think of; it’s inhuman.”

All the more disturbing is that Ward is currently serving time for killing another woman, whom he started dating after he murdered Veronica Bowen.

Ward shot and killed girlfriend Sheila Jackson in 1994 and if that’s not horrific enough, he committed the murder in front of Jackson’s 11-year-old daughter and subsequently raped the little girl. It’s unfathomable to imagine what that poor child has had to deal with in her now adult life.

It would be nice to believe that a horrific crime like this one isn’t very common but unfortunately there have been a number of similar cases in recent years.

In 2008, a Greek man, 31, beheaded his 25-year-old girlfriend and her dog. The man then walked around with her severed head until he was apprehended by police.

In April 2011, a 23-year-old engineering student in India sliced off his 18-year-old girlfriend’s head with a dagger in front of his classmates.

This past January, a Niger man was arrested for cutting off his girlfriend’s head after he had sex with her. And just last month a 29-year-old Ghana man beheaded his estranged wife while in the midst of a love triangle.

Yet another disturbing video has gone viral on the Internet. This one shows a father beating the brakes off his daughters after he found out they posted a video on Facebook of them “twerking.”

For the uninitiated, twerking is defined by the Urban Dictionary as the “rhythmic gyrating” of the lower part of the body — preferably a woman’s — in a “lascivious manner with the intent to elicit sexual arousal or laughter in one’s intended audience.”

So basically, these young girls put up a video of them shaking their asses on Facebook … and daddy don’t play that.

The video clip shows the man as he dishes out the brutal punishment by beating his daughters with a rolled up cable cord. He beats them one-by-one as they yelp and scream in pain. The entire thing is extremely unsettling, and is not for the faint of heart.

The video first showed up on Facebook on this past weekend, but has since spread to YouTube and WorldStarHipHop and has been seen by millions of people online over the past few days.

No official word on when or where the video was shot, but it is assumed to be here in the United States. The identifies of the subjects in the clip are unknown as well.

In a recent interview with the British radio station Xfm (via CBS), Jared Leto reveled the craziest gift he has ever received from a fan.

Since he’s an actor and member of the band 30 Seconds to Mars, it’s not surprising that Leto is showered with gifts, but we didn’t think he got any gory ones.

“The fans are an incredibly committed and passionate group of people. Going to a show is kind of like visiting Japan — you expect gifts on your arrival,” Leto said. “You get all kinds of wonderful things. Someone cut their ear off once and sent it to me. That was very strange. A whole ear. The Van Gogh move. The note just said, ‘Are you listening?’ I never knew who it was, who’s missing their ear out there.”

Yet what’s even more bizarre is that Leto decided to keep the ear and wear it as a freakin necklace!

We know he’s  a rock star but … that’s just gross. To top it off, the former “My So-Called Life” heartthrob posted a picture of the bloody piece of flesh on his Instagram Monday (Mar 25) account with the caption, “Are you listening?”

How creepy is that? Who on earth would cut off their ear for a B-list celeb?

Then again, this could all be a publicity stunt. I mean, how do we even know that’s a real ear?

Mexican authorities say that the bodies of seven men were found sitting in plastic chairs on display along the side of a street in the Mexican state of Michoacan.

According to the Michoacan attorney general’s office, the victims had all been shot in the head (execution style) and were placed individually in the sitting position in chairs on the side of the road near a traffic circle in the city of Uruapan, which is a known drug zone.

Shocking photos released to the media show a gruesome scene — all of the men, reportedly aged between 15 and 40 years old, are tied to the chairs by their hands and feet, and some have threat messages nailed to their chest with ice picks.

According to local authorities, a placard on one of the bodies, which were found early Saturday morning, read: “Warning! This will happen to thieves, kidnappers, sex offenders and extortionists.”

Sadly, this wasn’t the only instance of mass violence in Mexico. The night before in the neighboring Mexican state of Guerrero, armed men opened fire at a bar in Ciudad Altamirano, killing a total of seven people, including three off-duty federal agents.

The attorney general’s office have no clear motives for these recent killings, but if you know anything about Mexico, one would assume that they were drug-related.

Mexico has an extremely bad name, as it is one of the most dangerous places to be with its heavy drug war, which has been going on for years among the drug cartels — large organizations that control major drug trafficking operations.

Mexico has seen a surge of violence in recent years attributed to drug cartels. After former president Felipe Calderon launched a nationwide crackdown against traffickers, drug violence escalated, and over the past seven years, an estimated 70,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence.

The country’s new president, Enrique Pena Nieto, who took office last December, has vowed to put an end to the rampant murders that have tainted Mexico’s image as a popular tourist destination and rattled investors.

While thousands of soldiers have been sent out to patrol the streets, the number of fatalities continues to rise.

Just earlier this month, a 13-year-old self-confessed hitman who had been arrested after he confessed to a series of killings, escaped from prison and was found tortured and killed shortly thereafter.

In more appalling Steubenville rape trial news… As if two rapists getting intense media sympathy wasn’t enough, it appears the 16-year-old victim has to face cyber bullies too.

Jezebel reports that two teenage girls have been charged with using Facebook and Twitter to threaten the young woman. As if the footage of a group of young men bragging about the rape and CNN seemingly forcing sympathy for the men men that assaulted her wasn’t enough.

The fact that it was two teen girls who were tearing the victim down just goes to show you that women’s cruelty towards one another is sometimes just as powerful as the misogyny at the hands of men.

Attorney General Mike DeWine announced that a 16-year-old girl has been charged with aggravated menacing after weaponizing her Twitter account to threaten the rape victim’s life.

DeWine added that a 15-year-old girl has also been charged with one count of menacing after making a similar threat on Facebook, because nothing cheapens the modern age’s miracles of instant communication more than using them for petty acts of cruelty.

“Let me be clear,” DeWine said. “Threatening a teenage rape victim will not be tolerated. If anyone makes a threat verbally or via the Internet, we will take it seriously, we will find you, and we will arrest you.”

The girls appeared before a juvenile court Tuesday.

T.J. Lane doesn’t seem to feel any sorrow or remorse for murdering three students and wounding three others in a school shooting last year.

Lane appeared in court Tuesday morning wearing a T-shirt with the word “KILLER” scribbled across the front of it in black marker, and he had a visible smirk on his face as an Ohio judge told him that he would spend the rest of his life in prison for his crime.

Against the recommendation of his counsel, the 18-year-old addressed the courtroom before learning of his fate, telling his victims’ families directly: “This hand that pulled the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates to the memory. Fuck all of you,” which was met with gasps and cries, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

On February 27th 2012, Lane, who was 17 years old at the time, entered Chardon High School, located about 30 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio, and opened fire, killing Daniel Parmertor and Demetrius Hewlin, both 16, and 17-year-old Russell King Jr, and wounding three others, including one student — Nick Walczak — who remains paralyzed in a wheelchair.

Nearly one year later, Lane, now 18, plead guilty to three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault. Because he was a juvenile at the time of the shooting, Lane was ineligible for the death penalty, but Geauga County Common Pleas Judge David Fuhry did give Lane three life sentences without the possibility of parole.

In court, Dina Parmertor, mother of victim Daniel, told Lane:

“You murdered my son Danny. You are a killer! You are a pathetic excuse for a human being. In fact you’re not a even human being. You don’t deserve to be called human. You’re a monster, and will forever to be titled a triple murderer.

“I have many more words that I wish I could say that would express my pure disgust and hatred for you, but unlike you, as we’ve seen today, I obey the law, and that’s why I am standing here a free person — something you will NEVER be.

“I hope you have a cold, rough, unkind, harsh prison life with monsters like yourself. I want you to be ensured years and years of pain, and abuse, which is, in my opinion, not harsh enough.

“If I had my choice, you would die an extremely slow and torturous death. You don’t deserve to take another breath while my 16-year-old son Danny lies in the ground because of your disgusting, selfish and cowardly actions. You are a weak, pathetic, vile coward.”

A 23-year-old man from New York City who stabbed his mother to death, cut her body into pieces and then stuffed them in a series of trash bags that were scattered along several blocks was arrested and charged with murder last week. And apparently, before he discarded of his mother’s remains, he posed in a VERY disturbing photo with her severed head.

The unsettling image, snapped with his cellphone purportedly as a keepsake, was leaked to the New York Post, and it shows Bahsid McLean posing in front of the bathroom mirror, holding the bloody head of his slain mother as if it were a trophy.

Police say that the shocking photo is just one of several images they found on McLean’s cell phone. “I lost sleep over it. Just sheer inhumanity. It’s horrible what he did to her,” one law enforcement official told the Post.

Last Tuesday (Feb 26) morning, a man was out walking his dog when he made a gruesome discovery: the dismembered remains of a woman in a heavy duty plastic garbage bag that investigators later identified as 45-year-old Tanya Byrd, who was last seen alive the Monday before.

Police later found several other bags with the rest of her remains scattered along several blocks. After medical examiners completed an autopsy, they determined the following Wednesday that Byrd was stabbed in the neck before she died, and her death was officially ruled a homicide.

It was later discovered that her son Bahsid McLean was behind the gruesome murder after he confessed to the crime. He has since been placed on suicide watch.

According to police, after getting into an argument with his mother because she told him to grow up and move out, McLean fatally struck the woman while she was sleeping. He then stole money from her to purchase an electric chainsaw to cut up her body.

With the help of a friend (later identified as 26-year-old William Harris), McLean stuffed his mother’s body parts in three heavy-duty trash bags and dumped them in several different locations within blocks of each other.

At his arraignment, McLean — who wore a plastic bag because he kept urinating on himself — reportedly told the judge, “I didn’t do anything wrong.” He also made several other outbursts and was ultimately ordered to be held without bail.

Sources close to the family say McLean is troubled and he resented his mother, who worked as a home health aide and was described as a “beautiful” person and a “hard worker” by her sister.

McLean is said to be schizophrenic and his lawyer said he had been off his medication for days, the New York Daily News reported. His father discussed his history of violent tendencies, saying, “He did destructive things. He set fires. Nobody could control him.”

“He’s acted out in violent ways before, but I never thought he could do something like this. Not in a million years,” one family member, who wished to remain anonymous said.

A lawsuit has been filed against Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD following a massive scandal involving a disturbed gynecologist who was secretly recording his patients during exams.

According to the Baltimore’s CBS affiliate WJZ, Dr. Nikita Levy was accused of recording and then storing footage of his patients earlier this month and subsequently committed suicide after police confiscated the videos.

The Baltimore doctor reportedly used an undetectable camera pen to obtain the footage, which he also took still photos from, over a period of five years.

Police have been inundated with questions from over 1,000 victims and two of those victims have filed lawsuits.

Levy, 54, admitted to recording his patients earlier this month when his co-worker told hospital officials that she was suspicious of the pen he was wearing around his neck.

But the horrifying case doesn’t end there. On February 18, Levy took his own life. According to Baltimore City Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi, it is still unclear what he did with the intimate footage that he collected.

Guglielmi said that police are “looking to see if Dr. Levy perhaps sold this material online and if he partnered with anyone else during the commission of this crime.”

“I can’t even begin to imagine the unimaginable breach of trust that this incident has created for families and patients,” he said.

Some bizarre news from the country of Indonesia. Police from there say a woman reportedly drowned her nine-year-old son in the bathtub because he had a small penis, and she was worried that him not being properly endowed would negatively impact his future love life.

According to a report from AFP, the 38-year-old woman from Indonesia’s capital city of Jakarta told police that her son was already born with a small penis, and after he was circumcised, his penis began to shrink down to an even smaller size.

A police spokesman who goes only by one name, Rikwanto, told AFP: “She told police investigators that she killed him as he would have a bleak future with his small penis.”

Rikwanto also described how the woman committed the heinous crime: “She drowned her son in a bathtub filled with water. She then dressed him and laid him on a bed. After that, she went to a nearby police office to report her crime.”

According to Rikwanto, the unnamed woman told police that she was fully conscious of what she had done, and they ordered a psychological test for her to assess her mental state, which obviously is not good.

After sending out a crude tweet about nine-year-old Oscar nominee, Quvenzhané Wallis, satire news site The Onion has issued an apology.

“On behalf of The Onion, I offer my personal apology to Quvenzhané Wallis and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the tweet that was circulated last night during the Oscars. It was crude and offensive—not to mention inconsistent with The Onion’s commitment to parody and satire, however biting,” CEO Steve Hannah wrote in a statement.

“No person should be subjected to such a senseless, humorless comment masquerading as satire. The tweet was taken down within an hour of publication. We have instituted new and tighter Twitter procedures to ensure that this kind of mistake does not occur again. In addition, we are taking immediate steps to discipline those individuals responsible. Miss Wallis, you are young and talented and deserve better. All of us at The Onion are deeply sorry.”

The Onion — known for their ridiculous headlines, and the comical approach they take at reporting on news stories — found itself in hot water, when they sent out an offensive tweet calling Wallis a c**t.

“Everyone else seems afraid to say it, but that Quvenzhané Wallis is kind of a c–t, right? #Oscars2013,” the tweet read, which was immediately met with outrage from the Twitterverse, as people — including many celebs — flocked to defend the young star.

A maintenance worker at the historic Cecil hotel in Los Angeles was just doing his job and checking on an issue with the hotel’s water supply when he made a grisly discovery: a dead body floating in one of the hotel’s rooftop water tanks!

Guests had been complaining about low water pressure, and when the maintenance worker went to go check on the hotel’s rooftop water tanks, he found the bloated corpse of 21-year-old college student Elisa Lam, who had been reported missing by her parents in early February. She was last seen acting “bizarrely” in an elevator at the hotel on January 31st, L.A. police said.

Detectives are trying to determine whether Lam’s death was the result of foul play or an accident. But while they try to figure that out, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is said to be investigating whether or not the water that hotel staff and residents had been drinking, cooking with, and using to bathe and brush their teeth was contaminated … seeing as, you know, it did have a rotting corpse floating around in it for over two weeks.

“The water did have a funny taste, but we never thought anything of it,” Sabrina Baugh told CNN. She said she and her husband used the water for eight days and didn’t really worry about it because “we thought it was just the way it was here.”

But what Sabrina described was most certainly not the way we do things in America. “The shower was awful,” she said. “When you turned the tap on, the water was coming black first for two seconds and then it was going back to normal.”

Her husband Michael Baugh told the Associated Press, “The moment we found out, we felt a bit sick to the stomach, quite literally, especially having drank the water, we’re not well mentally.”

The $65-per-night hotel remained open after the gruesome discovery, but new guests checking in, as well as the ones already at the hotel, were urged to not drink the water

Meanwhile, police aren’t sure how Elisa Lam died or how she ended up in the water tank on the roof of the hotel, which is protected by locked doors and an alarm.

The firefighters who pulled the body out don’t know how it even got into the tank, since the opening at the top was too small to accommodate the firemen and their equipment, which forced them to cut a hole in the storage tank in order to recover the body.

In fact, in order to get to the tanks, hotel staffers explained that someone would have to go to the top floor of the building, where they would then take a staircase with a locked door and an emergency alarm preventing unauthorized roof access.

Another ladder would then have to be taken to the platform, and the person would have to climb up the side of the tank. Not to mention, that person would also be carrying a dead body while doing all of this.

The Cecil hotel was reportedly built in the 1920′s and was refurbished several years ago. Coincidentally, the hotel had also once been the occasional home of the infamous serial killers Richard Ramirez (nicknamed the “Night Stalker”) and Jack Unterweger. Austrian prison author Jack Unterweger, who was convicted of murdering nine prostitutes in Europe and the U.S. also stayed at that very same hotel.

But what about those unfortunately hotel guests who consumed the corpse water?

Well, fortunately for them, the purpose of a water tank is to filter nasty chemicals from water. So while the fact that people were consuming water contaminated with a rotting corpse is not only gross, but just plain creepy, DISGUSTING and very traumatizing … they shouldn’t be too concerned about their longterm health.

According to Dr. Kent Sepkowitz, an infectious-disease specialist from New York City, our stomachs are full of harsh acids that kill the bacteria we consume before it kills us. He wrote on The Daily Beast:

Furthermore, unless the woman was poisoned with anthrax or botulism or some other bacterial toxin that might be proliferating in her remains, the bacteria would not be lethal, just nauseating. I suspect that vomiting and a day or two of stomach misery would be the worst that would happen to the hotel guests, if that.

Police in Kentucky arrested a man last week after he broke into a firehouse and was caught masturbating on the gear owned by the firemen.

Metro Firefighters say they heard glass shattering on one of their bay doors and when they went to investigate, they found 27-year-old Nicholas Gonzales masturbating on gear he removed from lockers.

Firefighter Michael Davenport said when he caught Gonzales in the middle of his lewd act, Gonzales didn’t even acknowledge his presence, and continued on as if no one was there. “He continued his lewd act and that’s when I grabbed him by his shirt and drug him out,” Davenport told WAVE 3 News.

Davenport and the other firefighters detained Gonzales until police arrived. According to police, Gonzales was hammered drunk, and when they asked him why he would do such a thing, he reportedly replied: “Because I wanted to.”

Gonzales was charged with burglary, public intoxication and criminal mischief.

And get this. In a shocking, but not totally surprising, twist to this already insane story, according to the Gawker, not only is Gonzales a firehouse masturbator, but he also does gay porn in his spare time under the name “Donny Wright.”

His film credits include “Unglory Hole 2,” “TSA Stripdown” and “Hot House Backroom 23,” according to the Huffington Post, who also confirmed with a gay porn producer than Gonzales and Wright are the same person.

It all makes sense now.

Las Vegas police say they arrested a woman Tuesday (Feb 19) and charged her with open and gross lewdness after they witnessed her having sex with a pit bull in her back yard in broad daylight.

In an arrest report released Wednesday, police said they were called to a home in the 300 block of N. 16th Street, where 23-year-old Kara Vandereyk was engaging in sexual acts with the animal in full view of neighbors. Police said the woman stood-up and greeted officers with a “Hi.”

Police also said Vandereyk appeared to be under the influence of drugs or was mentally ill, or both, which is pretty obvious, considering she couldn’t identify herself and wasn’t even able to answer simple questions about the current date or the name of the President of the United States.

Vandereyk reportedly told officers she was “bipolar” and she also admitted to taking prescription medication, but wasn’t able to tell them if she was on them at the time.

Rape is a subject that should be broached with dignity, sympathy and a certain level of respect. However, judging from the conversations about rape lately, it doesn’t really seem to be getting the respect or empathy that it should … like the whole “your body has ways of shutting down so you can’t get pregnant during ‘legitimate’ rape” thing, or the notion that “a pregnancy resulting from rape is what God intended,” or the statement saying “rape doesn’t happen on college campuses that often.”

Judging from the amount of men that think they know what is best or what is going on when a woman is raped, you would think by now they would have it mastered the subject, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The University of Colorado has become the latest entity to put its foot in its mouth concerning rape. According to Jezebel, the Colorado Springs Department of Public Safety’s website  had updated its “What to do if you are attacked?” page this week to advise female students to pee, vomit, and menstruate their way out of being rape victims.

Ridiculous tips included telling your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating. “Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone,” another bullet point read.

I can’t even begin to decipher if they were serious or not, but judging from their response to the firestorm their “tips to avoid rape” caused, it seems they were.

After some obvious controversy, the university said the page “was created in 2006 as supplemental material for women who had completed an internationally recognized Rape Aggression Defense course offered free of charge to UCCS students.

They subsequently took the whole thing down, but it may have just been easier to use a little bit of common sense and not put it up in the first place, amirite?

A nine-year-old girl from an impoverished town near Guadalajara, Mexico gave birth by Caesarean section to a healthy baby girl weighing nearly 6 pounds last month.

According to USA Today, the 5-pound, 15-ounce baby girl was born on January 27th. “Due to her age, her body is not able (or) in the best shape to have a baby,” Enrique Rabago, director of the Hospital General de Occidente, said in a news conference Wednesday.

The extremely young mother, identified only as “Dafne,” was impregnated by a 17-year-old whom she was said to be “dating” when she was just eight years old.

Dafne and her newborn were released from the hospital this past weekend, and are both doing well, according to Jalisco state police spokesman Lino Ginzalez Corona said.

The girl’s family reportedly alerted authorities after she gave birth, and the teen has since left town, Corono said. The teen’s whereabouts currently remain unknown.

If the currently unidentified teenager is indeed the father of nine-year-old Dafne’s baby, he could face child sex abuse charges.

The girl is reportedly one of 11 children who live with their parents in a poor neighborhood about 25 miles south of Guadalajara. “Her parents work all day and were not watching after her, and therefore didn’t realize what was about to happen,” Corona said.

According to a translation of an article from the Spanish news agency EFE, the girl told her mother she and the teen believed to be the baby’s father were “dating,” and he fled after the girl’s mother rejected his idea of the girl moving in with him after she told him

“We are looking for the young man to get his story because the girl does not understand what has happened,” said Jorge Villasenor, another Jaliso state police department rep. “This is either rape or child sex abuse.”

To prevent the girl from getting pregnant again anytime soon, in addition to psychological counseling and now being closely monitored, her mother approved of doctors implanting a subcutaneous birth control implant under her skin.

And if you think having a baby at 9 years old is young, get this. According to a list on Wikipedia of mothers under 12, the youngest mother on record is a Peruvian girl who was 5-years, 7 months old when she delivered a boy by C-section in 1939.

Dafne is among the youngest in the world to give birth within the past decade or so.

If you’re a fast food lover, stop reading now! Popular fast food chain Burger King has admitted to using horse meat and other non-approved ingredients in its UK products.

According to the UK’s Daily .Mail, the company used horse meat in its famous burgers and whoppers.

The meat was made by the Irish company Silvercrest, which also makes food for British companies like Tesco and Asda. They are now accused of importing horse meat from Poland and covering up their illegal activities.

The scandal was first brought to light two weeks ago when the Food Safety Authority in Ireland discovered unauthorized ingredients in burgers sold in Ireland and the UK. Burger King initially denied the  shocking revelation but eventually threw their hands up and confessed.

According to Diego Beamonte, who serves as Burger King’s vice president, the company was unaware that their supplier was using illegal meats.

‘We are deeply troubled by the findings of our investigation and apologize to our guests, who trust us to source only the highest quality 100per cent beef burgers,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

“Our supplier has failed us and in turn we have failed you. We are committed to ensuring that this does not happen again.”

Despite, Beamonte’s reassurance, it’s safe to say that the company will inevitably lose a bunch of customers over this. We know we won’t be eating at Burger King anytime soon.

A gross, vile, disgusting, despicable, deplorable, abhorrent excuse for a human being was arrested and charged with sexual battery and possession of pornography involving a juvenile for molesting a 1-year-old girl, and then sending a recording and photos of the sick act to his lover.

According to 21-year-old Roy Dixon’s arrest reports, police in Gretna, Louisiana began an investigation into the case last Saturday (Jan 26) after receiving a complaint of rape involving a baby.

The arrest report stated that Dixon, identified as a possible suspect, confessed to the molestation and told police investigators that a man named “Brad,” whom he was in a relationship with, asked him to take and send sexualized photographs of the baby in August 2012.

Dixon reportedly confessed to taking around 10 or so inappropriate pictures of the infant’s genitals.

Some of the photographs showed Dixon imitating sex acts and using objects, including a cotton swab, to molest the baby.

Even more disturbing, the police report also said that Dixon confessed to sending videos of himself sexually violating the little girl with his finger, and he also admitted to recording himself with his cell phone as he masturbated on the baby.

He told investigators that he sent the photos and videos to his boyfriend “Brad” via text messages.

Dixon is being held at Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna, LA on $375,000 bond. It isn’t clear whether or not “Brad” has been identified by Gretna Police, or if he’ll face any charges.

Gretna, Louisiana is also home to a 68-year-old man who was arrested and charged with possession child pornography last month, as well as a strange man who got drunk, stripped naked, refused to clothe himself, broke into song and masturbated in front of police.

The saga surrounding “Dazed & Confused” actor Jason London’s arrest earlier this week just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Yesterday, pictures were released by TMZ of London showing his badly beaten face that seem to back up the actor’s side of the story that he was brutally attacked by a group of burly bodyguards.

“Jason’s injuries are consistent with a brutal attack with deliberately and expertly aimed landed shots to the head which, according to eyewitnesses, continued even after he was unconscious,” a representative for the actor tells TMZ.

London claims that he got into an altercation with a bouncer at the Martini Ranch bar in Scottsdale, AZ on Sunday after the man approached him for “looking at his friend’s girl.”

What happened next is pretty fuzzy according to London, but the actor claims he regained consciousness while being arrested for disorderly conduct, fighting and assault after suffering a royal beat down by the bar’s security.

Perhaps further backing up London’s claims are pictures released of his hands showing no marks, indicating he didn’t fight back.

However, the owner of the Martini Ranch bar said he is standing behind his security staff and is confident the true story surrounding the events will come out.

“We feel confident that when the time comes between witnesses, police reports and our surveillance footage, that the truth will come out and show that the comments by Mr. London and his people are clearly inaccurate.”

London will also have to deal with the embarrassing report put out by the arresting officers.

According to the police report, London became extremely belligerent while being arrested and even went so far as to TAKE A SHIT in the back seat of the police car!

London reportedly said to the officers:

“Guess what faggot, I fucking love this. I fucking own you guys so hard. I’m rich and I’m a motherfucking famous actor! Fucking look me up, bitch. It smells like shitt in your car and your breath smells like diarrhea.”

After declaring that the car already smelled like human excrement, London then reportedly took it upon himself to add to the pleasant smell by reportedly leaning to the left and taking a dump in his pants, saying to the officers, “I told you I’m happy as shit.”

But according to London, this is all a lie. But not just any lie. “A total fucking lie,” in his words.

“I got jumped by three 250 pound bouncers. They knocked me out and beat me for several minutes. I would never say or do the crap they are reporting. Have faith in me. The truth will come out and you will see.”

“Do the crap?” Haha … we see what you did there!

Any news out of North Korea should be taken with the biggest grain of salt on the planet, but multiple reports from the region claim that food shortages in North Korea are so bad that people are resorting to cannibalism. Even worse, parents are reportedly murdering their own children for food.

The shocking reports come from independent news reporters commissioned by Asia Press, an independent press agency focusing on Asia, and were published by U.K. newspaper the Sunday Times.

“A father in North Korea is reported to have been executed by firing squad after murdering his two children to eat them during a ‘hidden famine’ that may have killed more than 10,000 people last year,” the Sunday Times wrote of one known incident of cannibalism in North Korea.

The British newspaper reports that hunger in the country may be widespread as a “litany of horrors [have been] documented by undercover reporters,” with one man even reportedly digging up his own grandchild’s corpse for food, and another who “went mad with hunger” and boiled his own child and ate the flesh for dinner.

Another startling report from the Sunday Times states:

While his wife was away on business he killed his eldest daughter and, because his son saw what he had done, he killed his son as well. When the wife came home, he offered her food, saying: ‘We have meat.’

But his wife, suspicious, notified the Ministry of Public Security, which led to the discovery of part of their children’s bodies under the eaves.

The big question here is whether or not all of these reports of cannibalism are actually true, considering North Korea, who favors propaganda over the facts, would never confirm such issues.

However, the Asia Press’ use of citizen reports in famine-stricken regions of the country adds serious veracity to their claims of cannibalism. And The Sunday Times, as well as The Independent — both credible news sources — have been reporting on this issue as well.

Sadly, these aren’t the first reports of North Koreans eating other people to combat a national food shortage. Ten years ago, during another food shortage, there were refugee accounts that North Korean citizens were not only killing and eating their own children, but also selling their children’s corpses.

Meanwhile, amid his country’s national food shortage, leader Kim Jong Un has spent vast sums of money on two rocket launches, and a third is reportedly underway.

North Korea is definitely a country with its priorities in order.

The Internet and media world freaking exploded last night when Gawker Media’s Deadspin scored the journalistic coup of a lifetime in its extensive report about Notre Dame Linebacker Manti Te’o‘s “dead” girlfriend Lennay Kekua was fake. Made up. A hoax.

For the past year, Te’o has repeated variations of his story about losing his grandmother and his girlfriend within hours of each on the same day. ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and the South Bend Tribune were among the MANY media outlets who failed to do thorough background checks on the story. Instead, they relied on the testimony of Te’o and his father, Brian Te’o.

In response to this alarming news, Te’o and the University of Notre Dame have both released statements saying that Te’o had no idea that Kekua was fake. Te’o claims he was the victim of a “Catfish,” which is a term linked to a documentary and MTV show that tracks down Internet posers who engage in fraudulent relationships with people online.

But here’s the thing: Te’o's version of events doesn’t answer the damning evidence that Deadspin has compiled.

First, the story of Te’o never meeting Kekua is not the story that was told in the media. The South Bend Tribune painted a breathless encounter outside of a Palo Alto football game that sounded like it was straight out of Dawson’s Creek.

It never felt like a chance meeting, although it probably appeared that way from the outside looking in.

Their stares got pleasantly tangled, then Manti Te’o extended his hand to the stranger with a warm smile and soulful eyes.

They could have just as easily brushed past each other and into separate sunsets. Te’o had plenty to preoccupy himself that November weekend in Palo Alto, Calif., back in 2009.

Te’o NEVER challenged this version of events at all. If he never met (or even Skyped with her), how the hell did he and his family let this version of events become such a popular story?

Second, the links between Te’o and Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the alleged perpetrator behind the made-up Kekua identity, are hard to deny.

Te’o and Tuiasosopo definitely know each other. In May 2012, Te’o was retweeting Tuiasosopo, who had mentioned going to Hawaii. Wrote Te’o, “sole”—”bro,” in Samoan—”u gotta come down.”

In June, Te’o wished Tuiasosopo a happy birthday. How they know each other isn’t clear. We spoke to a woman we’ll call Frieda, who had suggested on Twitter back in December that there was something fishy about Lennay Kekua. She was Facebook friends with Titus Tuiasosopo, so we asked her if she knew anything about Ronaiah.

“Manti and Ronaiah are family,” she said, “or at least family friends.” She told us that the Tuiasosopos had been on-field guests (of Te’o or someone else, she didn’t know) for the Nov. 24 Notre Dame-USC game in Los Angeles.

USC was unable to confirm this, but a tweet from Tuiasosopo’s since-deleted account suggests he and Te’o did see each other on that West Coast trip. “Great night with my bro @MTeo_5! #Heisman #574L,” Ronaiah tweeted on Nov. 23, the night before the game.

Yeah. This, along with the fact that Te’o interacted with a fake Twitter account that claimed to be Kekua’s sister and then went back and DELETED his interactions with her reek of someone who was in on the lie from the jump.

Manti Te’o wants to protect his legacy, but at this point, it’s way, way too late for that. He needs to do like John Edwards and Lance Armstrong did and are doing now: Come clean. Throwing lies on top of more lies is no way to get out of this situation.

The implausibility of a young football player carrying an exclusively long-distance relationship with a “girlfriend” he’s never met or even video chatted with, who then dies and conveniently tells him NOT to attend her funeral is simply too much of a horseshit pill to swallow.

Consider this a bet: Manti Te’o is not telling us the whole truth and there will be more tears and apologies to come from him soon. Deadspin did its homework on this one and too many signs are pointing right back at Te’o for us to believe his sob story.

Do you believe Manti Te’o?

Georgia resident James Satterfield was arrested last month for making terroristic threats after he allegedly got all Russell Edgington on a judge by threatening to kill his children and eat them.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by the AJC, the 58-year-old mailed a threatening letter on Dec. 20th to the home of Cobb County Superior Court Judge Reuben Green directly addressed to the judge’s wife.

He wrote in the letter, with regard to the couple’s two young children, that he would “cook them first to make them more palatable.”

“Please give a copy of this letter to the police so that when you are slaughtered the public will know who were really responsible,” the letter from Satterfield allegedly stated.

Satterfield remains in custody at the Cobb County Jail without bond.

While the arrest warrant doesn’t indicate any relationship between Satterfield and Green’s family, Cobb Superior Court records state that Judge Green presided over Satterfield’s divorce case between April 2011 and July 2012.

Sheriff Neil Warren said in a statement: “I will not tolerate any threats or acts of violence toward any citizen, law enforcement officer or court official.”

Fair warning: If you read the rest of this, you will probably never want to eat at KFC ever again. And eating fried chicken in general will be difficult until you figure out a way to erase the disgusting image (below) from your memory.

With that said, 19-year-old Ibarahim Langoo from the U.K. posted a shocking photo to his Facebook showing page a piece of chicken with what looks like a BRAIN inside of it.

Ibrahim and a friend were eating lunch in between classes at a KFC near their university when Ibrahim made the grisly discovery.

The pair were splitting a “Gladiator” box meal — two pieces of “original recipe chicken,” a “100% chicken breast fillet burger,” side, fries and a drink. His friend ate the fillet burger, while Ibrahim went for the two chicken pieces.

Ibrahim said: “I have a habit of picking the chicken off the bone with my fingers and as I pulled the second piece apart, I saw this horrible wrinkled foreign body. I threw it down onto my tray immediately. It looked like a brain. I suddenly felt grim and really sick.”

He added: “I didn’t want to pick it up as I couldn’t bear to look at it. I was grossed out by the fact that I could so easily have eaten it without realizing. I just wanted to get out of KFC as quickly as I could. I still feel really sick and disgusted by it all now.”

Ibrahim said that he went to the counter to complain, but the restaurant was so busy at the time, that he eventually gave up on trying to get a staff member’s attention and left, but not before he snapped a picture of the repulsive “easter egg” hidden in his meal.

It wasn’t until after Ibrahim’s picture went viral on the Internet that he got a response from the company.

“KFC says they are sorry and are concerned to hear of my experience as they have ‘rigorous standards’ but I’m still not impressed,” Ibrahim told UK newspaper The Sun. “I never want to eat KFC again – in Colchester or anywhere else. I’ll eat chicken at home, where I can see how it’s been prepared.”

After examining the photograph, experts at the fast food chain believe that the organ was a chicken KIDNEY, and not a brain, as originally thought.

Back in 1984, Cheryl Dillon of Ohio, then 36, went to see Dr. James Burt, a well-known ob/gyn at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She went to Dr. Burt for minor bladder surgery, but he recommended a hysterectomy, according to an account of her story in the Daily Mail.

Whoa there. That’s pretty extreme for a 30-something-year-old woman.

But Dr. Burt did a whole lot more than just remove Ms. Dillon’s uterus. He literally “rearranged” her vagina, moving the hole to a different location and removed her clitoral hood, effectively ‘circumcising’ her.

This left Dillon in severe pain, and she even had trouble wearing pants and sitting. And it also wrecked her then 12-year marriage since her sex life was pretty much ruined, she told the Daily Mail.

“The way I was deformed, I couldn’t have sex. I ended up going through three different corrective surgeries but by that time, my marriage was shot and I lost the best thing that had happened in my life.”

Here’s the important lesson to learn from this: If a doctor offers to rearrange your vagina, return the favor and offer to rearrange his face.

We all know about “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” but allow us to introduce you all to the WENCH who stole Christmas.

According to reports from Texas, a kindergarten teacher from Peace Elementary school in Austin went and ruined Christmas for everybody last week by telling her students that Santa Clause isn’t real.

The Houston Press reported that a 5-year-old girl came home from school with a burning question for her father: “Daddy … is Santa real?”

Of course her daddy told her yes, but he also wanted to know why she would ask such a question.

“Because Mrs. Fuller” — the girl’s afterschool teacher — “said he wasn’t real. She said ‘None of you believe in Santa do you?’ and said that you and mommy buy all our presents and put them under the tree. She said that you should tell us the truth.”

And believe it or not, “Mrs. Fuller” isn’t the only Grinch-like, Santa-hating teacher at the school.

The girl’s mother said another teacher — in a totally unrelated, but oddly similar incident — told her students to draw two pictures on a piece of paper, one of something real, and the other of something imaginary. When one student drew Santa on the “real” side, the teacher informed him that Mr. Clause belonged on the “fake” side.

It goes without saying that the parents at that school, which apparently hates Christmas, were pretty pissed, and believe that it is not the school’s place to tell their children that Santa Clause isn’t real.

“To break that harsh reality to them in such a brutal way is just wrong,” the 5-year-old girl’s mom said. “Especially since these kids are five. She is just really getting into Santa.”

The mom also discussed the incident on her Facebook page:

“Another adult has no right to submit their own beliefs on a group of 5 year olds and their families – about Santa, God, politics or whatever – especially phrased ‘your belief is not right.’”

She added that another parent spoke for many when he wrote in an email that it was important for kids to make those kinds of discoveries on their own, as they matured.

The mother said she e-mailed a complaint to the school’s principal, who responded that he was “horrified” and that the teachers had been reprimanded and given “tools to deal with this situation” in the future.

He didn’t say exactly what those “tools” were, but we assume included is a guide on how not to ruin childhoods.

NFL star Jovan Belcher — a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs — shot and killed his girlfriend, then took his own life early Saturday morning (Dec 1), according to various confirmed reports.

Officials from the Kansas City Police Department say that Belcher and his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins — who had just given birth to their daughter less than three months ago — had been arguing earlier in the morning at their home, at around 7:00 a.m. local time, when Belcher fatally shot her multiple times.

Perkins was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Her mother was at the home and reportedly witnessed the shooting; and tipped police off about the incident.

According to police, 25-year-old Belcher left the scene, then drove about 5 miles to the team practice facility at Arrowhead Stadium and committed suicide in front of two team officials — Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel — who both spoke briefly with the NFL star before he turned the gun on himself.

Police say before he shot himself in the head, Belcher — who had been with the Chiefs for the past four seasons thanked Pioli and Crennel for everything they had done for him. The coaches told police they never felt as though they were in danger.

As of right now, authorities have no idea of a possible motive for the murder-suicide, which has obviously stunned his teammates, and came one day before the Chiefs are scheduled to play against the Carolina Panthers at home. The NFL has said that the game will go on as scheduled.

Chinese Man Feels Tricked After Discovering Wife’s Pre-Plastic Surgery Looks

There’s a thin line between love and hate, and one Chinese man, Jian Feng, quickly crossed over from the love side to the hate side with regard to his wife after the birth of their daughter.

Feng said the newborn baby girl was so “ugly,” that he questioned whether the baby was is. While Feng’s suspicions about the baby’s mysterious looks were accurate, it had nothing to do with his wife stepping out on the marriage and everything to do with her not-so-pretty secret past.

The face that Feng knew was in fact a relatively recent creation born from multiple plastic surgeries.

But now, another Republican has thrown himself in the middle of a rape quagmire. Indiana Republican Senate candidate Richard Mourdock said that he doesn’t support abortion even in cases of rape because “it is something that God intended to happen.”

His full quote is below:

“The only exception I have to have an abortion is in the case of the life of the mother,” said Mourdock, the Tea Party-backed state treasurer. “I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize life is that gift from God. I think that even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”

Well, damn. Does that mean if we have the opportunity to stop a bank hold-up that we shouldn’t? Because obviously, God wanted that man to get that money he was after.

What about people who get stabbed or shot? They should probably just console themselves and say, “Hey, it’s what God would’ve wanted.”

Surprisingly, Mitt Romney didn’t throw his Republican colleague under the bus this time. He hasn’t asked Mourdock to take down his support ad and according to reports, Romney’s team is dodging questions about the subject as much as they dodge questions about Romney’s unreleased tax returns.

We know that questions of free will vs. determinism are complex and difficult to sort out, but we can’t but think that maybe Richard Mourdock should fall back on speaking for God in cases like these.

That desperate claim of innocence was at the heart of Jerry Sandusky’s bizarre statement, which he released to the media shortly before his sentencing Tuesday (Oct 9).

That is, when he wasn’t trashing the victims and accusing Penn State officials of conspiring to set him up. Right, because Penn State University has gained SOOOO much from this lovely scandal.

In his statement, Sandusky claims he’s been unfairly made out to be a “monster.” He swears that he didn’t commit any of the horrible acts he’s been accused of.

“They can take away my life, they can make me out as a monster, they can treat me as a monster but they can’t take away my heart. In my heart, I know I did not do these alleged disgusting acts. My wife has been my only sex partner and that was after marriage. Our love continues,” Sandusky said.

“Before you blame me, as others have, look at everything and everybody. Look at the preparation for the trial and the trial. Compare it to others. Think about what happened, why and who made it happen,” he added. “Evaluate the accusers and their families. Realize they didn’t come out of isolation. The accusers were products of many more people and experiences than me.”

So Sandusky expects us to believe he was a choirboy, blushing, virgin bridegroom who’s been wrongly convicted of molestation because people misinterpreted his innocently showering with young boys because, you know, they have issues, not him?

And really, given the fact that one of the accusers is Matt Sandusky, one of his own adopted sons, does he really want to cast aspersions on other people’s families? If his own house isn’t clean, who is he to even go there?

Heard any shocking news lately? Well, the news 60-year-old Valerie Spruill found out 6 years after her husband died probably tops anything you’ve ever heard in your life.

Valerie Spruill, from Doylestown, Ohio, recently discovered that her husband Percy was also her father, according to a report from the Akron Beacon Journal.

Valerie says she was raised in Ohio by her grandparents because her mother was a “night lady,” who was a family friend.

It wasn’t until she turned nine that Valerie found out that the man she thought was her father, was really her grandfather, and the “family friend,” was her real birth mother.

After her mother died in 1984, Valerie later met a man she would later marry. 20 years later, in 2004, with the help of a DNA test, she found out her late husband, Percy Spruill, who had died 6 years ago in 1998, was actually her biological father.

For years, Valerie says she overheard odd whispers she couldn’t figure out, and one day, her uncle finally told her the truth about her “husband,” who was really her father.

Valerie’s father/husband met her mother when he was just 15 years old, and no one is sure how many kids they had, but at one point, he somehow fell in love with his daughter and married her, and also had three children with her.

Valerie says she isn’t sure if her husband knew he was really her father because he never talked about it, but admits there is a possibility that he knew, and was just afraid to tell her the truth.

Asked why she’s decided to let the world in on her family secret, Valerie Spruill explained that she “wants to set an example” and inspire those who are going through a rough time.

She said she also wants to show other people who were born into miserable situations that they can still lead, good, productive and fulfilling lives, as she is a living, breathing example.

“I want this to be more of an inspirational story,” she says. “If I’ve come through this, anyone can come through anything through the help of the Lord.”

Now retired, after working for over 30 years in the accounting department at Goodyear, Valerie has three children and eight grandchildren.

Valerie said her story “needs to be told, because children need to know where they come from,” she said. “And I know it hurts, because I have been devastated by this.”

She says to this day, she is still seeing a therapist to come to terms with the difficult revelation that she was married to her father, and had children with him. (So does that make her own children her brothers and sisters too?)

Valerie also says that she hopes her decision to go public with her story will help her find the rest of her siblings.

“My biggest goal is to find [my siblings] and let ‘em know that [their mother] loved them, no matter what,” she said. “And [to say], ‘Thank God she gave you away like she did me, so you could have a beautiful life.’”

One of the six brothers she is aware of advised her not to go public, saying, “Val, that might bring up a whole lot of skeletons in the closet.” She says she told him, “Well, I’m not a skeleton, and I’m hurt.”

But Valerie believes the hurt can be outshined by the truth.

“It’s a miracle how God reveals and heals at the same time, and he gives you that blessing to keep on going … If this old lady done come through all this, and God’s still got her here and still with a good heart — because you find so many mean, vicious people in the world, and you don’t have to be — you can love no matter what you’ve come through or where you’ve been in this world.”

David Viens, a California man, confessed to law enforcement that he actually killed and then slow cooked his wife Dawn, who had been reported missing.

The L.A. Times has the details on the killer’s confession:

“I just slowly cooked it, and I ended up cooking her for four days,” David Viens said on the tape, which was played in court.

“You cooked on [her] body for four days?” replied Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Garcia.

“Before it was done,” Viens said. It was unclear from the interview where the cooking took place.

Viens, who happens to be a chef and restaurant owner, told police that his wife’s death was an accident. He got “violent” with his wife and duct taped her mouth and bound her arms and feet. The next morning, she was dead, according to reports.

It’s weird that she died from being tied up alone. Presumably her nose wasn’t blocked, so what happened? Did she just die from the trauma of her husband turning violent on her?

Unfortunately, her unnecessary death wasn’t the end of this tragedy. Once Viens discovered his wife’s body, he plotted on how he could get rid of the evidence. WARNING: This is the part of the story where your stomach will do flip-flops.

David Viens said he packed his wife’s 105-pound body into a heavy container and used weights to keep it submerged in the bubbling water.

Viens said he mixed what remained with other waste and poured it into the grease pit at his Lomita restaurant, Thyme Contemporary Cafe. Other remains were packed into garbage bags and chucked into a trash bin. All that remained was his wife’s skull, he told investigators.

“That’s the only thing I didn’t want to get rid of in case I wanted to leave it somewhere,” he said.

Garcia asked Viens where the skull was.

“In my mother’s attic,” he said.

Later that day, investigators scoured his mother’s attic in Torrance. They found nothing.

How do you go from wedded bliss to this gruesome nightmare? Somehow, life in prison doesn’t seem long enough for this cruel, evil man.

“People always say you remind me of Popeye the sailor man,” Big Mo told the Daily Mail. “This makes me laugh as the truth is I don’t have any spinach in my diet – I can’t stand the stuff. Actually I think my arms are now bigger than the cartoon character.”

Big Mo says he started bodybuilding about ten years ago to simply get fit. But after he started getting compliments on his bulging biceps, he decided to focus on making them even bigger.

And he did just that. In fact, he was so dedicated to bulking up his arms, that he and his wife moved to the United States so that he could gain access to better workout equipment.

He works out every day between 5am and 8am, and his daily routine includes lots of cardio, strength training, body sculpting, and weightlifting using heavy and isolated weights.

When Big Mo isn’t working out, he’s running the two gas stations he owns near his home in Massachusetts.

“Working out makes my mood better. You’re just focusing. And I like that in this type of sport you can see your improvement in your shape,” he says. “I know they are growing, my chest, my shoulders, my arms. I love weights.”

Big Mo and his grotesque biceps will appear in the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records.

It’s a mad, mad, mad world out there, folks. A New York man, who also happens to be a father of three, was randomly stabbed five times in the butt by a stranger for no apparent reason.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous because he’s embarrassed by the incident, was out in Queens with his two-year-old nephew when he walked into a deli.

Suddenly, he felt what he says felt like mosquito bites in his butt. He didn’t realize it right away, but he’d been stabbed five times in the butt and the lower back. The assailant, a black man in a white t-shirt, has so far eluded police.

Thankfully, the victim, who’s going by the pseudonym “Tom” because he fears for his life is recovering, but he’s still in a great deal of pain.

The news broadcaster said that Tom lost count of the staples doctors put in his butt and Tom told the reporter that he has difficulty stepping on his right foot now.

Porn star Mr. Marcus admits that he could be responsible for the recent STD scare that has shut down the porn industry in San Fernando Valley, California and is now apologizing for it.

In a recent interview, the 18-year porn veteran said that he believes he contracted syphilis while on the set of an x-rated video, and he also admitted to covering up his syphilis-positive test results so that he could continue to perform.

Mr. Marcus the Adult Video News (AVN) that on July 11th, he felt sick and went to his personal doctor, who ran tests, and the next day told Mr. Marcus that he had tested positive for syphilis. A day later, he was given a penicillin shot and told to abstain from sex.

“My personal doctor doesn’t know what I do for a living,” Mr. Marcus said. “So his thing was just don’t have any sex for 7-10 days. Once I did that shot I felt pretty confident. Every doctor I talked to up to that point said, ‘You get the shot. That’s it.’”

Mr. Marcus returned to work and shot a sex scene 11 days later, on July 24th, although subsequent testing showed that syphilis was still in his system. He says that the producer of that particular shoot only asked to see “proof” of a test, rather than a full paper/digital copy.

Taking advantage of the situation, Mr. Marcus says he showed the producer a copy of the results on his cell phone, but admits to hiding the part that showed that he tested positive for syphilis.

“I showed that my HIV was clear, my gonorrhea and chlamydia were fine,” he told AVN. “You didn’t see the syphilis part of the test because of the way I showed it.”

For a subsequent porn shoot, Marcus said he folded his test results, covering the syphilis portion, and photocopied it … however, the producer noticed this time that the syphilis portion was missing, and called the porn star out on it.

“I tried to cover it up… Because I said it was like the scarlet letter. It’s the word. Syphilis, whoa,” Marcus told XBiz in another interview. “Mr. Marcus, syphilis? Mr. Marcus, the one I worked with? The one that everybody works with? The one that’s been in this industry forever?”

Mr. Marcus said that he only altered the test because his doctor told him he would not be contagious 10 days after taking the penicillin shot.

“I have to live with this, no one else does,” he said. “I’m very sorry. I did not think that this would come out like this.”

What’s really shocking about all of this, is that even though he admits to having sex with performers while he had an STD, Mr. Marcus honestly doesn’t think he did anything wrong.

“I don’t feel that was a mistake,” he said. “I was treated. I allowed the medicine to take effect, and I wanted to proceed as normal. I wanted to go back to work as usual.”

Mr. Marcus’ admission comes after reports surfaced of a syphilis outbreak among porn performers, which prompted a 10-day stop in production so that over 1,000 actors could be tested.

According to AP, as many as nine syphilis cases have been identified among porn performers, and more are expected.

All of the women Mr. Marcus “performed with” have tested negative for syphilis.
