The child custody battle between Usher Raymond and his ex wife Tameka continued in court in Atlanta this week, and Usher was accused of cheating on Tameka … by sleeping with one of her bridesmaids!

During the proceedings Tuesday afternoon (May 22) in Fulton County Court, Usher was being cross-examined by Tameka’s attorney about his claim that Tameka has a revolving door of nannies, and that he worries about who’s caring for his children at any given moment.

Then things got really interesting once Tameka’s lawyer brought up an incident where Usher was caught in bed with one of the “nannies” — who was a good friend of Tameka’s and also one of the bridesmaids at their 2007 wedding.

According to TMZ:

Tameka’s lawyer asked Usher if one of the nannies in question had “left Miami because you were discovered in bed with Maya Fox Davis?” Sources close to the couple tell TMZ Davis was a bridesmaid for Tameka … and the alleged incident happened during their marriage.

Usher’s attorney quickly objected, but you gotta watch the clip (see above) to see how it played out in court.

But get this … Maya Fox Davis was conveniently pictured with Usher and his first born son (Usher V aka “Cinco”) in September 2008 … which is when Tameka was 7 months pregnant with Cinco’s baby brother Naviyd!

At the time, magazines and websites called the then-unidentified woman Usher’s “nanny” … but now, we all know better.

The photos show Usher and Maya playing on the swing with little Cinco … and in one of the pics, Maya can be seen leaning in and giving Cinco a peck on the lips … which, at the time, was pretty awkward to say the least, and now that we know who this woman really is … WOW!!!

Earlier this week, Usher teared up on the stand when Tameka’s lawyers insinuated that the R&B singer cares more about partying than he does about taking care of his two sons.

Usher is fighting for increased visitation, while Tameka is fighting for full custody.

Unless Usher and Tameka can work all of this mess out amongst themselves — and let’s be serious, that’s most likely NOT going to happen — the child custody trial will resume this July.

Usher appeared in court in Atlanta Monday (May 21) — following his performance at the 2012 Billboard Awards in Las Vegas the night before — to continue the bitter custody battle with his ex wife Tameka Raymond over their children.

While testifying on the stand, Usher broke down into tears after Tameka’s attorney whipped out photos of the 33-year-old singer at a nightclub in Europe earlier this year, suggesting that the entertainer cares more about partying than he does about his two young sons.

Usher also talked about about how his ex goes through nanny after nanny, and he constantly worries about who is taking care of his kids at any given moment.

Under oath, Usher also explained how Tameka has a violent history, and during his testimony, he described an incident when his 40-something-year-old ex wife went ballistic and “wanted to fight” whn he showed up at her house with his new girlfriend Grace Miguel (who is also his manager).

Ush testified Tameka walked to his car and said, “I’m gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?”

He added, “She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.”

Usher claims he had to get out of the car and block Tameka … who then hit him. Usher said he pleaded with Tameka to calm down, but claims “she threw a plate of food at the car” … as he fled the situation.

As you may remember, during Tameka’s sworn testimony earlier this month, she admitted to telling Usher and his girlfriend “I will f**k you up“ … so this incident in which she physically attacked the couple isn’t surprising at all.

Usher was also grilled about his alleged drug use because Tameka claims that he abuses them.

While he did admit to smoking weed, his lawyer jumped in and objected when he was questioned about using ecstasy, and he insisted that he has NEVER used ANY drugs in front of their children, which is an allegation Tameka made early on in their custody battle.

Usher and Tameka — who married in 2007 and divorced before their 2-year anniversary in 2009 — are fighting over custody of their two kids Usher V (aka “Cinco”) and Navid … and so far, things (obviously) aren’t going so well.

So it finally came down to this….

Deion Sanders has been ordered to pay $10,500/month in child support to his ex, Pilar Sanders, and a whopping $275,000 to cover her legal fees.

The NFL legend did get some good news today in court — he was not ordered to pay spousal support.

Pilar was also ordered to return six containers of Deion’s property by July 1.

This is the latest chapter in their ongoing, incredibly nasty legal war. Just last week, Deion was granted a restraining order against Pilar … ordering her to stay at least 500 yards away from his Dallas mansion.

Hopefully these two can now just get on with their lives and do what’s best for the kids.

It looks like Deion Sanders is finally winning.

During a court hearing on Monday, the NFL star was given temporary custody of his kids and a restraining order that keeps his estranged wife Pilar at least 500 yards from his Dallas mansion.

TMZ reported:

During Monday’s hearing, the judge also ruled Deion was only acting in self-defense when he injured Pilar during an altercation at the mansion on April 23. The judge said Pilar could face a fine for her role in the alleged attack.

The judge also ruled that Pilar and Deion’s 3 minor children must undergo psychological counseling.

Deion and Pilar have been going at it ever since last December when Deion filed for divorce — after 12 years of marriage — just four days before Christmas.

It’s sad it had to come down to this … Pray for the kids y’all!

And the custody battle between Usher and his ex wife Tameka Foster Raymond continues…

As we previously reported, the two were recently ordered into mediation by the judge presiding over the case to come up with a solid custody agreement for their two sons … or else he was going to impose a temporary order.

Well, at least a week has gone by, and it looks like the pair still haven’t worked something out amongst themselves, which means that the case will continue to drag on.

When Tameka — who was accused of making death threats towards Usher — took the stand in court last week, she denied that she ever threatened her ex, though she did admit, under oath, to telling him, “I will f**k you up!” (No shame in her game, huh.)

According to TMZ:

Tameka took the stand and, as you can see in this video, was questioned by Usher’s attorney about her verbal and abusive threat towards the singer — where she allegedly said “I will kill you both,” referring to Usher and his current girlfriend.

Foster went back and forth with her answer before coughing up a half-admission, saying she didn’t threaten to “kill” him … but admitting, “I did probably, out of anger, say ‘I will f**k you up’ and it’s not acceptable.”

Foster claims the menacing statement was a result of Usher gallivanting in and out of town with his new GF, which was “embarrassing” for her in such a tight knit community.

The trial is set to continue this week. Grab your popcorn and stay tuned, folks. This could get interesting!

Usher and his ex wife Tameka Raymond have been battling each other over a custody agreement for their kids for years, but now a judge has given the divorced couple an ultimatum to work something out … “or else.”

Usher and Tameka attended a court hearing in Atlanta Tuesday (May 1), and the judge ordered that the two of them sit down privately and work out a temporary custody agreement.

If they can’t work something out amongst themselves, the Fulton County Court judge says he will impose a temporary order.

Usher — who filed for divorce from Tameka in June 2009 after almost two years of marriage — also addressed child support payments during the hearing.

Tameka previously accused Usher of being behind on at least $34,000 worth of child support payments, and according to court documents, she is also requesting more child support on account of a “substantial change” in Usher’s income since they divorced.

Tameka filed court documents in Georgia last year asking the singer to be completely stripped of joint physical custody of their two sons, 4-year-old Usher V (aka “Cinco”) and 3-year-old Naviyd.

Tameka also suggested that Usher was an unfit father, and even went as far as to go to the judge and demand the singer be drug tested because she thought he was “popping pills and who-knows-what-else” around their kids.

Usher denies the drug abuse allegations and is asking for an increase in the time he’s allowed to spend with his children. For now, the pair currently share custody.

Drugs or no drugs … Usher is probably a better fit parent than a sober Tameka. Or maybe SHE‘s the one on drugs.

Martin Lawrence has filed for divorce from his wife of the past two years Shamicka, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

After a 15-year relationship, Martin and Shamicka got married in July 2010. They announced their separation last Tuesday (Apr 24), and the very next day, Martin filed for divorce.

Regarding their divorce, the couple released the following statement:

“Out of love and respect for one another, we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together.”

Martin and Shamicka have two daughters together, 11-year-old Iyanna and 9-year-old Amara Trinity.

According to TMZ, Martin wants joint physical/legal custody of their children … and just in case you were wondering, there is a prenuptial agreement between the pair.

Pilar Sanders was released from jail Tuesday afternoon (Apr 24) after spending the night behind bars following a physical altercation with her estranged husband Deion Sanders.

The former NFL star claims Pilar and her friend “jumped” him in his bedroom at the home they share together (despite their bitter divorce battle). Deion says the alleged attack — which included a lot of “Kicking, biting and scratching” — took place in front of their kids.

Pilar was charged with “assault family violence” (a misdemeanor), but she denies ever attacking Deion and insists that she is innocent.

On her way out of jail, a clearly emotional Pilar told reporters:

“I am innocent. I understand that I have a very little chance at beating a Hall of Fame, two-sport man that everyone seems to love and adore. I am a full-time mom 100 percent for my children and I have just not gotten a fair shake…”

As a result of the incident, a judge issued an emergency protective order against Pilar, which forbids her from returning to their Texas home for the next 60 days, according to TMZ.

The order also prohibits her from threatening or harassing Deion or any member of the family.

Pilar’s divorce attorney Larry Friedman said that people should wait for both sides of the “story” to come out before they place all the blame on Pilar.

“I can tell you that there are two sides to every story and the truth will come out in court,” he said in a statement.

Pilar Sanders was arrested for domestic violence yesterday after allegedly attacking her estranged hubby Deion Sanders.

According to TMZ, Pilar was booked for “assault family violence” at the Colin County Jail in Texas.

Deion claims Pilar and her friend jumped him in front his two sons….and took to Twitter to prove his innocence:

Funny how all of this drama occurs after Deion was spotted out with Eddy Murphy’s ex Tracey Edmonds at the Broadway opening of “A Streetcar Named Desire.” (Not a smart move, playa!)

Former American Idol winner Ruben Studdard has come out of his marriage with what he went into it with. Everything! His former wife on the other hand wasn’t so lucky.

After 3 years of marriage to his now ex-wife Surata Zuri McCants, the “June 28th” singer filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, which was finalized in January.

Ruben Studdard and Surata Zuri McCants married in June 2008 in front of friends and family at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Studdard had 20 groomsmen by his side.

But everything wasn’t smooth sailing because the former Mrs Studdard contested the prenup, and stated that Ruben pressured her into signing the legal document just days before her wedding.

However, the Judge didn’t buy her story, and upheld the terms of prenup, which resulted in Zuri getting almost nothing in the divorce.

According to the final judgment, Ruben was not ordered to pay ANY spousal support or alimony … and he gets to keep their home plus all his belongings — jewellery, pensions, royalties, clothing, and all his cash. It was even ordered Zuri return the engagement ring.

Meanwhile, Zuri gets next to nothing — her wedding dress, her photo albums, a 2006 BMW (which Ruben will pay off), a 10k property settlement, 2k for attorneys fees … oh yeah, and her maiden name.

Sounds like Ruben Studdard lucked up with this one!

Too bad Surata couldn’t get pregnant in time; she could have at least gotten some child support. Poor thing.

It must really suck to be Allen Iverson right now.

The former NBA star’s estranged wife Tawanna Iverson (who is currently in the middle of divorcing him) has filed court documents requesting him to ”give the name and telephone number of every person other than your spouse whom you have had sexual relations and/or intimate physical contact from the date of the marriage to the date of trial.”

But that’s not all!

According to TMZ, Tawanna is also asking to see all of Iverson’s financial info, as well as any purchases he’s made over $1,000 since they got hitched.

She has previously claimed Allen has been spending money on himself … leaving her and their five kids hard up for cash.

Well damn. Wonder what A.I. has to say about all of this? If he’s smart … nothing at all.

Actor Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly Buffington-Quaid are getting a divorce:

According to the divorce petition filed by Kimberly Buffington-Quaid and obtained by TMZ, “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities … that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Kimberly is asking for spousal support and attorney’s fees.

There is a temporary custody order in place, which provides that both Dennis and Kimberly each get time with their kids. The order only covers last weekend, but presumably they will get an updated order soon. The kids cannot be taken out of state or removed from school without an agreement by both parties or an order by the judge.

The temporary order also gives Kimberly possession of their main residence and the Mercedes. He gets the Cadillac Escalade and a condo.

And get this. The temporary order says, “The parties shall cooperate with one another in using the Range Rover…”

Kimberly is asking that all of their community assets be fairly divided. In Dennis’ answer to Kimberly’s petition, he says he wants her to get nothing.

Both Kimberly and Dennis are ordered not to say anything “vulgar, profane, obscene or indecent” to each other.

Kobe Bryant is about to be the luckiest man in the world. The L.A. Lakers star and his estranged wife Vanessa Bryant are working on getting back together!

The former couple were spotted kissing yesterday — Valentine’s Day — outside the locker room at the Lakers-Hawks game.

According to TMZ, even though Kobe and Vanessa have submitted all necessary documents for their divorce, it doesn’t become final until mid-June and have plenty of time to withdraw the papers.

So we all know that what that means….this could be Kobe’s only chance of ever getting those three nicely decked-out mansions back.

Katy Perry took to the stage Sunday night (Feb 12) at the Grammy Awards and performed her hit single “E.T.” and also debuted her new song “Part of Me,” marking the Pop singer’s first televised performance since her high profile marriage fell apart.

The lyrics to “Part of Me” has many thinking that the song is a not so subtle dig at Perry’s estranged husband Russell Brand.

Looks like there is more drama going down in the Sanders home.

Pilar Sanders claims to have been attacked by one of Deion‘s female companions yesterday at his Texas mansion.

The model/actress called police and told them a woman named Laura arrived at the mansion to see Deion, but was told by Pilar that she was not welcome in the home and should leave.

Laura refused to leave, and after exchanging words with Pilar, threw a foreign object and struck her in the eye.

During the incident, Pilar claims her estranged husband Deion was present and didn’t do anything to stop the situation.

No arrests were made after the altercation, but the situation is under investigation.

Pilar’s lawyer told TMZ that “Pilar was taken to the hospital emergency room as a result of the injuries she sustained during the assault.”

“This is an opportunity for Deion to use his ‘Century-21 celebrity status’ to set an example as to how to lovingly care for his wife and children during divorce proceedings,” the lawyer added.

It seems like something crazy is going on between Pilar and Deion every other day. SMH!!!

Deion Sanders has fired back at his estranged wife Pilar‘s claims that he offered her cash for sexual favors, insisting that she is straight up LYING and is only trying to extort him for his money!

TMZ broke the story … Pilar just filed an emergency motion in Texas, claiming Deion is holding her as a “financial hostage” … cutting off her cash flow … and only offering to give her cash in exchange for X-rated activities.

Sources close to Deion tell us the accusations are entirely untrue … and claim the NFL legend recently sent her a cashier’s check for $10,000 … which Pilar REJECTED.

Pilar’s lawyer, Larry Friedman, tells us she refused to accept the money because Deion presented the check as a “partial payment” towards the prenup … a prenup she believes is invalid.

We’re told Pilar was only promised $1,000,000 in the prenup … but Friedman believes she’s entitled to MILLIONS more … saying, “The offer does not reflect the assets in the estate and does not account for the time, effort, devotion, and faithfulness Pilar has invested in the marriage.”

A close adviser to Deion tells us … “Pilar has continued to make false statements in an attempt to extort additional money, in spite of the generous pre-nup that she voluntarily signed. Deion is going to allow a judge to resolve this privately, then he looks forward to setting the record straight publicly at the appropriate time.”

Can’t we all just get along?

Adding to their already nasty divorce battle, Pilar Sanders has revealed some very shocking claims against her estranged husband Deion.

Pilar told a Texas judge that Deion has canceled all of her credit cards, cut her cell phone off, and is basically refusing to give her ANY money to support herself and their kids. That is, unless she has sex with him!

In the court documents (obtained by TMZ), Pilar claims, “Since [Deion] filed for divorce on December 21, 2011, he has given [Pilar] $300.00 and offered her money in exchange for sexual favors.”

Pilar, of course, turned down the whole “money for sex” offer, and is now begging the court to force Deion to give it to her, claiming, “The children and I have lived in survival mode for several months, and the emotional toll on all of us is palpable.”

In addition to canceling her credit cards and her cell phone, Pilar also says Deion has “engaged in a pattern of systematically removing my belongings from the house and haphazardly throwing them into piles in the garage of the residence.”

So how much money does Pilar want from Deon?

Well, Pilar claims Deion makes over $1 million per year, and she says she wants NEEDS a cut of that so that she can live and support their children.

Deion Sanders has officially had enough!

The former NFL star is tired of living under the same roof as his estranged wife Pilar and is asking a judge to force her out.

In the documents filed in court, Deion claims that the home is separate property and Pilar “should be ordered to vacate the residence.”

Unlike Pilar, Deion also believes the divorce should be governed by the prenup.

According to TMZ, Deion also wants the court to sanction Pilar for violating the rules of conduct for people getting divorced in Collin County … which state both parties cannot:

(1) Disturb the peace of the children; (2) Make disparaging remarks about the other or their family; or (3) Talk about the divorce in front of the kids.

Well damn…..this divorce battle is getting nastier and nastier everyday.

Seal says he was just as shocked as we were about his divorce to Heidi Klum.

The soul singer opens up about the split from his wife of eight years on a recent episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“I think we were shocked. You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say ‘I do’ and you say ”til death do us part.’ Those vows hold value. They are not just words. These things happen. We pretty much said how we feel and made it clear in the release statement.”

Despite the break-up, Seal still views Heidi as the most wonderful woman in the world.

“You try and you work through it and the thing that you quickly realize when you are married and you become a parent you do the best that you can. The thing I’m most proud about this great woman who I married (and I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart), is that together she has given me four incredible gifts … four beautiful children. She still, in my opinion, is the most wonderful woman in the world.”

Just to show how much he and Heidi remain on good terms….Seal hasn’t taken off his wedding ring and has no plans of doing so in the future.

“Yes, I am still wearing my ring. I think it’s just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years. Eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate doesn’t necessarily mean you take off your ring and you’re no longer connected to that person.

“We will be connected in many ways ‘til the rest of our lives. Will we wear the ring for the rest of our lives? Who knows? But right now it feels really comfortable on my hand so I have intentions of taking it off anytime soon.”

It’s sad seeing such a beautiful couple calling it quits…..but maybe it’s for the best.

Heidi Klum and Seal are getting divorced, putting an end to their 7-year marriage, the couple confirmed in a joint statement released this morning.

“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.

“This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

Heidi walked the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards last week without Seal, and they were last pictured together in a photo Heidi tweeted back on December 26th.

The couple, who are famous for renewing their wedding vows every year on their anniversary, originally married in May 2005, and have 3 biological kids together. Seal adopted Heidi’s oldest daughter from a previous relationship.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that Heidi is divorcing Seal over his “volcanic temper,” and not over concerns of infidelity, as many assume when a high profile couple divorces.

“It was a long time in coming,” the source said.

The divorce battle between Pilar and Deion Sanders is starting to get real nasty!

Just weeks after Deion’s daughter called out Pilar for being a cheating, money-hungry whore…….Pilar has filed court documents claiming her estranged husband has cheated on her numerous times, should be evaluated for personality disorder, and needs a parenting coach to be a better father. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Pilar states her husband of 12 years “has been guilty of unkind, uncaring, insensitive, cruel and unusual treatment of [Pilar] … as well as physical, mental and emotional abuse of [Pilar] and the parties’ children.”

Pilar says the divorce should be granted on grounds of “mental, emotional and physical abandonment.”

Pilar adds, “[Deion] committed numerous acts of adultery … on numerous occasions throughout the marriage.” Just to be clear, she adds, “[Deion] voluntarily had sexual intercourse with others who were not his spouse.”

It gets nastier … she adds, “[Deion] is a bully” … who “suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder, needs a full psychological evaluation.”

In the docs, filed today in Texas, Pilar claims Deion also needs a parenting coach to teach him how to be a better father.

Now, on to the money — Pilar claims the judge should throw out their prenup … and award Pilar a lion’s share of the estate … because she feels she was duped into signing the deal while under duress.

In the docs, Pilar requests sole legal custody of the couple’s three mutual children … claiming Deion is a bad, absentee father.

Pilar is also asking for exclusive access to the couple’s mega-mansion in Texas … meaning she wants Deion to finally pack his stuff and get out.

Pilar Sanders is denying allegations that she cheated on her estranged husband Deion Sanders.

Last month, Deion’s 19 year-old daughter Deiondra went on a Twitter rant accusing Pilar of infidelity and being a money-greedy whore.

Well, naturally, Pilar has had enough … and with the help of her lawyer, has suggested that she and Deion take a lie-detector test to prove her side of the story!

Her attorney Larry Friedman tells TMZ:

“It is extremely unfortunate that, in addition to the mental distress caused by the unexpected and untimely filing of the divorce by Deion Sanders, he has not stopped his daughter Deiondra from falsely accusing my client, Pilar Sanders, of infidelity in order to cause her more pain and suffering and further damage her character and reputation.”

Friedman adds, “This matter doesn’t require praying for Pilar as Deion has stated; it calls for telling the ‘truth’ — as well as a retraction of the false accusations made about Pilar and a public apology.”

“Perhaps it’s time for the parties to submit to and release the results of a polygraph examination to determine whether infidelity was committed during the marriage and to put an end to the speculation once and for all.”

Damn, maybe Pilar is innocent after all!

Now that Russell Brand and Katy Perry are officially getting a divorce, “friends” of the couple are coming out of the woodwork and have juicy stories to share with the tabloids.

Like how Russell hurt Katy’s feeling when he told her that her recent hosting stint on Saturday Night Live “wasn’t that funny.” (Ouch!)

And not only that, but he also quickly turned down a request from Katy to appear with her on the show and didn’t even fly to New York to watch her.

“There were so many times when he wasn’t there,” an insider says of Brand, 36, who blindsided Perry, 27, by filing for divorce Dec. 30 without consulting her.

Weeks before, when the “Firework” singer guest-hosted Saturday Night Live, the British comic turned down Perry’s plea to perform in a skit with him, remaining in L.A. instead. And after Perry had pulled off her SNL stint?

And when the Arthur star did show up to support his wife, as he did at Perry’s final concert stop in November, “He was totally uninterested and seemed annoyed he was there,” says a witness. “I don’t think he sat through one song.”

Deion Sanders has finally broken his silence regarding the drama surrounding his divorce from his estranged wife Pilar Sanders.

In a recent interview with Dallas radio station K104 FM, the former NFL star not only addressed the infidelity rumors, but he also talked about his daughter Deiondra going in on Pilar via Twitter, what it’s like to live in a 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom estate with his soon-to-be ex wife, who he thinks has been leaking stories to the press about their divorce and more.

Usher isn’t going to let his ex-wife Tameka Raymond get off so easy…

As we previously reported, Tameka filed court documents in Georgia asking a judge to strip him of joint physical custody of their two children.

She also claimed that he cancelled her Saks 5th Avenue credit card, failed to get her approval before hiring nannies, and refuses to give her permission to travel with their kids.

Well according to TMZ, Usher has fired back, claiming that he never cancelled Tameka’s Saks card, and her claims are all BS, including the bit about him being a bad father.

The R&B singer has even filed his own response asking a judge to reject Tameka’s request for full custody, on grounds that her allegations are utterly and completely false.

For right now, the pair both currently share joint physical custody of both of their kids, pending a trial date that has been set for February 27th.

As he goes through all of this drama with Tameka, we’re pretty sure Usher wishes more and more that he had just listened to his mom back in the day when she told him not to marry that crazy woman …. SMH!

Can’t say we didn’t see this one coming!

Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry, his wife of a little over one year. In the documents (obtained by TMZ), Brand cites “irreconcilable differences.”

The reason all of this isn’t a total shocker is because sources close to the couple recently revealed that they were having problems, and spent Christmas on two totally different sides of the world.

Katy spent her Christmas in Hawaii with “friends” and family, while Russell spent his Holiday in London with his own “friends” and family.

Russell was also spotted out in London without his wedding ring both today AND yesterday.

Earlier today, TMZ, citing “multiple sources,” had reported that the couple had no plans to divorce, however, they were told that the newlyweds were having problems, but it had nothing to do with reports of a “big, blowout argument” because apparently, no such argument ever occurred.

But it looks like things have changed, and Russell is said to have totally blindsided Katy by filing the divorce petition.

He released the following statement just moments ago:

“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”

Earlier this month, Brand had appeared on “Ellen” and spoke on the divorce rumors that were surrounding him and his wife at the time:

“I’m really happily married … I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I’m still alive.”

Sounds like someone had a change of heart.

And another one bites the dust…

Deion Sanders‘ wife says the former NFL star didn’t have the stones to personally tell her he wants a divorce … shockingly, she learned about the move by checking TMZ.com.

Pilar Sanders‘ lawyer, Larry Friedman, tells us she was “heartbroken and surprised when [she] read … that Deion announced his decision, on his own, to end their marriage.”

Pilar’s lawyer adds, “Pilar’s sole focus and top priority for the last 12.5 years has been her marriage and children. Based on recent discoveries, [Pilar] now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way.”

Friedman would not reveal any details about the “recent discoveries” to which he referred.

Friedman tells us Pilar has NOT negotiated a divorce settlement with Deion — but says she fully intends to protect herself and her children.

Translation — this divorce ain’t gonna come cheap.

Still, Pilar says she isn’t 100% convinced the marriage is dead … chalking up Deion’s recent behavior to a “temporary lapse of judgment” … and insisting she’s “confident that he will come to his senses and return to his family as he has in the past.”

An adviser for Deion tells TMZ … the athlete’s original statement “speaks for itself” … adding, “In the best interest of the children, he will not be discussing this matter any further in the media.”

Deion Sanders has officially filed for divorce from his wife Pilar Sanders.

The former NFL star filed the petition in Texas … just four days before Christmas. (Ouch!)

In the documents, Deion states that he and Pilar “ceased to live together as husband and wife.”

He continues, “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict” … which “prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

The couple married on May 21, 1999 and have three children together.

Damn Deion, you’re letting a good one go!!!

Kobe and Vanessa aren’t the only ones having marital problems…

Deion Sanders and his wife Pilar are getting divorced after 12 years of marriage.

Over the weekend, the NFL Hall of Famer released the following statement:

“Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect. We are friends and our top priority has and will continue to be the well-being of our children. We arrived at this decision prayerfully and carefully in order to be able to pursue what is in both of our best personal interests.”

The couple have three children together.

This is really sad…..but maybe it’s for the best. At least Pilar can focus on her modeling and acting career now.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are apparently all smiles again after being plagued with divorce/separation rumors earlier this year.

And guess what? Turns out….the couple’s superstar children — Willow and Jaden Smith — played a major factor!

According to sources, Will and Jada disagreed on how to handle Jaden and Willow’s careers, which ultimately led to a few marital issues.

Apparently….Will wanted to push the kids to full-blow stardom, while Jada was more focused on easing them into things.

But luckily for them (and the kids)….they got past their “little rift,” and things are back to the norm.

Vanessa Bryant, wife of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, has filed for divorce, according to a shocking new report from TMZ!

Vanessa, who stuck by Kobe’s side after he was charged with sexually assaulting a woman nearly a decade ago back in 2003, filed the legal documents Friday afternoon (Dec 16), citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that Vanessa — the mother of Kobe’s two young daughters, Natalia (8) and Giana (5) — ultimately decided to end her 10-year plus marriage to the NBA player because she has “had enough” of his cheating ways.

“She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” one source said, adding, “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

According to the legal docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters — 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Giana — but Vanessa is asking that Kobe get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time.

We’ve learned the couple has NO PRENUP, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half of the empire Kobe built over the last decade.

She’s also requesting spousal support … which is typical in divorce cases. Kobe, who filed his response to the divorce minutes after Vanessa filed her petition, says he will pay her spousal support.

According to the docs, Vanessa is being repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser and attorney Samantha Klein. Wasser reps oodles of celebs, including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Maria Shriver and Kim Kardashian.

Kobe went to the Jay-Z concert Tuesday night in L.A. without Vanessa, and people who saw him there say he looked miserable.

Vanessa signed the divorce petition on December 1. Kobe signed his response on December 7.

Oh yeah, that $4 million ring Kobe gave Vanessa after the 2003 scandal …. It’s all hers. A gift is a gift.

The Bryants released a joint statement … saying they have “resolved all issues” privately, with the assistance of counsel.

Kobe is also said to be devastated that his wife wants to divorce him, and he will do “whatever it takes” to save their 10 and a half year marriage.

This should make for nice locker room talk in the days leading up to the kick-off of the new NBA season on Christmas!

Country music star Rodney Atkins has filed for divorce from his wife Tammy Jo after he claims she made false domestic violence charges against him.

Atkins was reportedly arrested last month (Nov. 21) and charged with domestic assault after his wife told police that he had assaulted her and tried to suffocate her with a pillow following a night of heavy drinking at their home in Tennessee.

In addition to allegedly suffocating her with a pillow, Tammy Jo claims her husband grabbed her by the face and threw her down a hallway in front of their 10-year-old son.

Rodney was subsequently taken into custody and then booked into a nearby jail before being released a short time later after posting $2,500 bail.

Rodney’s attorney Rose Palermo called the allegations “completely untrue” in a statement, denying that any physical contact between the two parties occurred and basically calling Rodney’s now estranged wife a liar.

“Under Tennessee state law, anyone can swear out a warrant to the police and have a warrant issued to an arrest,” said Palermo. “Obviously that is the case here, since according to the explicit terms of the warrant, it’s entirely based on the word of Mrs. Atkins. The police did not witness any assault because none occurred. The police did not witness any violence between Mr. and Mrs. Atkins. It is entirely based on her word.”

Palermo continued, “This was an unfortunate verbal dispute between Mr. and Mrs. Atkins within hearing range of their child, and when Mr. Atkins realized their child was in hearing range of the argument, his first priority became getting out of the earshot of the child. That is when Mrs. Atkins called the police and gave them her version of the argument, which is completely untrue.”

As a result of his wife filing a false statement to police, Rodney Atkins — known for No. 1 hits including “If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows),” “Take a Back Road,” and “Watching You” — decided to file for divorce.

According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, Rodney and Tammy both agree that they are “unable to live together successfully as husband and wife,” and also claim that each other is “guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”

For now, while Rodney and Tammy work out their legal and domestic issues, a judge has signed off on a restraining order, barring both of them from “harassing, threatening, assaulting or abusing the other party.”

“Since filing the complaint for divorce, he has exercised substantial parenting time with the parties’ son and he will continue to do so while the divorce is pending,” Rodney’s attorney Rose Palermo said in her statement, adding that the criminal complaint “does not allege that any harm came to the child or Mrs. Atkins.”

She concluded her statement by saying, “Atkins plans to spend significant time with his child over the Christmas holidays and respectfully requests privacy at this time. Mr Atkins wants to thank his fans for standing by him as he is confident the truth will prevail.”

Kris Humphries appeared to be in zombie-land on “Good Morning America” when asked about his failed marriage to Kim Kardashian.

With much unease, the NBA star along with his mom half-way answered most of the questions during the interview and made it clear he is trying to move on.

This is Kris’ first major interview since being kicked out of the Kardashian family 5 weeks ago.

We hate to say it … but the more we see of this guy, the more we understand why Kim filed for divorce. He’s such a slow-thinker!!

Terrance Howard will be seeing the inside of a courtroom very soon.

The actor’s estranged wife Michelle Howard (who filed for divorce in February) has filed court documents claiming he beats on her and threatens to kill her.

According to Michelle, things got so bad one time … Terrence “slugged me across my face and neck” … and even threatened to kill her by throwing her off a balcony!

She claims the abuse continued throughout their relationship, including:

– smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring
– throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot
– telling her, “I’ll hit a woman quicker than I’d hit a man”
– Saying, “If you tell anyone about my personal business, I will kill you and no one will ever know
– Screaming, “B*tch, walk home. That’s my car, I pay for it.”

Terrence, on the other hand, is denying that he ever threatened Michelle and claims she has been threatening to “release private materials to 3rd parties for her own personal financial gain” unless he paid her money.

TMZ reports that the “private material” in question is a video of Howard singing naked in the shower. (WTF?)

A temporary restraining order has been granted against Howard preventing him from going near or contacting her until their next court hearing.

Wow! This sounds like a lot of unnecessary drama to us … how much you wanna bet she is still going to end up being with him after all is said and done?

UPDATE: Vanessa Long has changed her mind once again the divorce is now back on. Her attorneys released the following statement:

“Consistent with her original statement made this morning, Mrs. Long continues to hope that this matter may be resolved expeditiously, harmoniously and fairly; however, she has determined that dismissal of her divorce petition is not appropriate at this time.”

Original Story: Just hours after Bishop Eddie Long‘s wife Vanessa Long publicly announced that she had filed for divorce from her husband … she changed her mind, and asked her attorneys to withdraw the divorce petition.

Vanessa has also released a new statement, saying that she loves her husband and believes in him, while also blaming “years of attacks in the media” for her decision to initially seek a divorce.

Earlier this morning, Mrs. Long released a statement that read:

“After a great deal of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to terminate my marriage to Bishop Eddie L. Long. Accordingly, I authorized my attorneys to file for divorce on December 1, 2011.”

But now it looks like she’s had a change of heart. In a statement released Friday afternoon, Vanessa Long said:

“Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long. I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength and courage.”

The initial divorce filing follows one hell of a year for Mrs. Vanessa Long and her husband, who was accused last fall of coercing four young men into having sex with him by giving them money and expensive gifts, and sending (and accompanying) them on luxurious vacations, among other things.

The lawsuits were dropped after Bishop Eddie Long, Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church near Atlanta, Georgia, agreed to settle the case privately, outside of court, for an undisclosed settlement.

Bishop Eddie Long and his wife Vanessa have been married since 1990 and have 3 children together.

Even though the rest of us came to this conclusion a long time ago … “slow thinker” Kris Humphries has finally realized that Kim Kardashian only used him for TV ratings.

So instead of signing divorce papers, the NBA star filed for an annulment against his estranged wife to have their 72-day completely marriage erased from his life history.

Ironically … the annulment filing was on the same day his former sister-in-law Kourtney revealed she was having another child.

Humphries is seeking an annulment on the grounds of fraud….because he feels Kim never had real intentions to stay married and only wanted him to help fuel ratings for her show.

According to TMZ … sources close to Kris say he feels like, “Once they were finished taping, she just didn’t need a groom anymore.”

Kris is also upset people think he was in on the whole ordeal, according to a close friend. “He would have never flown in his childhood pastor to marry them and involve his church.”

Lastly, Kris feels Kim told on herself with the statement she posted on her blog, specifically saying:

“I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up in the hoopla and the filming of the TV show.”

Like the old saying goes….it doesn’t matter how long it takes you to get there, as long as you get there! We’re glad Kris is finally getting there. Even if it takes a little time.

Now that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are getting divorced after 6 years of marriage, the issues that caused their marriage to fall apart are now being brought forward.

According to an inside source, there were a lot of major problems between the couple, including the fact Demi was uncomfortable with being 15 years older than Ashton.

The anonymous source explained, “The marriage had been deteriorating for a long time. Ashton was ready to end it but he wanted to wait for Demi to actually do it. He loved her but couldn’t live with her.”

The snitch continued, “Demi really wanted to save the marriage but couldn’t deal with the pain of his cheating. They were fed up with each other. If anyone was uncomfortable with the age difference, it was Demi, not Ashton. She drove him crazy after a while with questions and doubts.”

So if Demi was uncomfortable with the 15-year age gap then why did she marry Ashton in the first place?

Demi Moore announced yesterday that she is divorcing her husband Ashton Kutcher after 6 years of marriage.

A statement from Moore released Thursday reads:

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.

This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.

Shortly after the announcement, Kutcher chimed in with his own statement on Twitter:

I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.

The split follows reports that Ashton cheated on Demi with a 22-year-old named Sara Leal.

Ashton Kutcher and Sara Leal reportedly had a one-night stand in San Diego on September 24th 2011, the night of his 6-year wedding anniversary with wife Demi Moore.

According to reports, the two made out on a balcony hot tub and eventually had unprotected sex multiple times in their hotel room in San Diego.

After the story broke and Ashton’s infidelity was exposed, on an incredibly futile attempt to “work things out,” the couple took a camping trip together with friends in Santa Barbra in October 2011, but “they seemed cold to one another,” a witness told US Weekly at the time.

Later that month, photogs captured photos of a moving truck pulling out of their Los Angeles area home, further proving that their marriage was on the rocks.

“I don’t think Ashton is living at the house anymore. I haven’t seen him for over two months. I used to see him every once in a while and now I never see him. I saw Demi last week with her daughter Rumer, but as far is Ashton is concerned, I think he’s living at another place,” a neighbor said at the time.

In the weeks that followed, Demi showed up at at events looking thin and frail, most notably at the New York premiere of “Margin Call” on October 17th.

An expert noted that Demi Moore, who stands at 5-foot-5, appeared to weigh a shocking 90 pounds. “Everyone was remarking how thin Demi was, more so than usual,” an observer at the premiere told US Weekly. “She’s very upset, and hasn’t been eating,” another source told the magazine.

Just this past weekend, Ashton and Demi reportedly spent some well needed “couple time” together at Demi’s ex husband Bruce Willis’s vacation home in Turks and Caicos in another attempt to try and save their marriage. “They had to get away,” a source tells the latest issue of Us Weekly.

But apparently, it didn’t work, or perhaps Demi has simply had enough, seeing as Sara Leal isn’t the first woman come forward and admit that she slept with Ashton.

In October 2010, just one year before the latest cheating scandal, a 21-year-old student named Brittney Jones told Star Magazine that she had slept with Ashton at he and Demi’s home while Demi was out of town shooting a new movie.

She said she slipped him her number after meeting him and stepdaughter Rumer Willis at Lucky Srike bowling alley in Hollywood in July. After a few text messages back and forth, Jones and Kutcher met up for sex on the family’s couch.

“He was a great lover,” Brittney said. “Very considerate and sweet. And it was very special to me. I felt totally comfortable in his arms. It was tender and nice–not some random sex act.”

Ashton and Demi quickly shot down Brittney’s claims, which they called a “defamation of character.”

Now a year later, they’re divorcing, and Brittney Jones seems to have the last laugh. She told TMZ, “Although divorce is often sad I do feel somewhat vindicated. For so long people have thought that I was dishonest or just making up my passionate nights with Ashton, when in fact I was being used.”

She continued,” Ashton told me that both he and Demi had an ‘open relationship’ and that he was not in fact cheating. Now I can tell all the facts about how Ashton really was, and hopefully people will believe my side of the story.”

Despite everything, Jones says, “I feel for Demi very much and wish her nothing but the best during this hard time.”

Ruben Studdard has filed for divorce from his wife Surata Zuri McCants.

The former “American Idol” winner’s rep confirmed the news:

“Ruben and Zuri have gone their separate ways.”

According to papers filed in Alabama, “irreconcilable differences” was cited as the reason for the break-up.

The couple married back in 2008 and have no kids.

It’s always sad to hear about a married couple divorcing, but maybe it was for the best.

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez aren’t letting their divorce affect their joint business ventures.

The former couple reunited last week in Puerto Rico for the filming of their upcoming Latin talent show “¡Q’Viva! The Chosen.”

Together they watched auditions and appeared to be having a good time. (Hey …at least they can let bygones be bygones and get that paper!!)

The show is expected to air in the U.S. in early 2012.

Looks like Kris Humphries has finally accepted that his sham of a marriage is over, and has now lawyered up, according to recent reports.

The NBA player is using his Minnesota attorney Lee Hutton to help him work everything out regarding the divorce, which TMZ says will be “easy as pie” because:

Sources connected with Kris and Kim tell us … there are NO conflicts over who gets what, largely because of the prenup. BTW, Hutton repped Kris when the prenup was negotiated.

If everything goes according to plan, the divorce will be finalized within 6 months from October 31st, the date Kim filed.

Funny how the divorce process is gonna take longer than the actual marriage, huh?

Kim Kardashian isn’t taking back slow thinker Kris Humphries!

Despite the reality star flying out to Minnesota over the weekend … the pair will not be reconciling.

According to sources, Kim is still going along with the divorce and only visited Kris to end things face-to-face.

Luckily, there are no conflicts over the terms of the divorce.

It’s a hard knock life being involved with the Kardashians. You either get with the program … or get left behind.

Kim Kardashian must be feeling pretty bad about filing for divorce from Kris Humphries after a measly 72 days of marriage.

According to sources, the reality star met with her estranged husband over the weekend in Minnesota and the two could possibly be getting back together.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries threw a Hail Mary Sunday … to see if they could save their marriage — and after a four-hour meeting with their pastor, sources close to the couple tell TMZ a reconciliation is “up in the air.”

According to our sources, the meeting with Pastor Joel Johnson went well as they talked through lots of issues. We’re told the two expressed respect and love for each other … but both acknowledged a lot is wrong with their relationship.

Our sources say Kris was “ecstatic” Kim made the trip to Minnesota and he truly thinks he can win her back.

As for Kim …. she’s unsure if she even wants to give it another go … but for now, she’s willing to keep talking.

It has long been rumored that the massive 20.5 carat, $2 million engagement ring Kris Humphries used to propose to Kim Kardashian was “donated,” but sources are now revealing that it was Kris who originally bought the ring.

And apparently, Kim loved the ring so much, that she made sure to include a clause in their prenuptial agreement that would allow her to buy the ring from Kris for the original purchase price … you know, “just in case” they were to divorce. Which they did, and now Kim wants to pay Kris for the ring!

TMZ reports:

Sources close to the former couple tell us … it was Kris who originally bought the 20.5 carat diamond stunner … and Kim loved the ring so much, she included a clause in the pre-nup which allows her buy the ring from Kris for the original purchase price in the case of a divorce.

Ironically, without a special clause in the prenup, Kim would have been the proud owner outright, because once they became man and wife, the ring would have been Kim’s.

Since the couple is now kaput — the diamond is in Kim’s court. We’re told KK still LOVES the ring — and will pay Kris so she can keep it.

Sounds like Kim planned to end this thing in divorce from the beginning. Who includes a clause like that in their prenup anyway? And if this whole divorce drama is so “damaging,” why would she even want to keep the ring, which would probably bring up tons of memories?

As the Kim Kardashian/Kris Humphries divorce saga continues, the star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” departed from Los Angeles last night and flew to Minnesota to see her future ex husband.

Sources close to Kim tell TMZ that she is “conflicted” over the divorce:

We got pictures of Kim as she made her way through the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport at around 5:30 AM local time. We’re told Kim flew commercial and was traveling with the guy in the photo (above, left) who appeared to be a bodyguard.

According to our sources, Kim booked the flight very last minute (see her below at LAX) because she felt like she owed it to Kris to talk things through with him face-to-face. We’re told no reality show cameras were involved.

Our sources tell us … Kim has been saying even before she filed for divorce that she wasn’t sure about ending the marriage. As we first reported, she was crying on and off last weekend before she decided to pull the trigger.

Sources say it’s definitely not accurate to call this a reconciliation … or even an attempt at one … but the door is definitely not shut.

For all those criticizing Kim Kardashian over ending her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries …. stop it right now! She’s only following her heart! Or at least that’s what she says….

In her first interview since filing for divorce Monday, the reality star, along with her sister Khloe, appeared on the Australian morning news show “Sunrise” and defended her decision by putting the blame on woman’s intuition.

Kris Humphries is having the worst week ever.

He told TMZ yesterday that he was he was shocked and “devastated” to learn that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage.

“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work,” he said.

And now we’re hearing that Kris won’t be getting ANYTHING from the short-lived marriage, because the prenuptial agreement he was forced to sign before he and Kim walked down the aisle keeps all of their assets separate from each other.

Kim pulled in $65 million last year, while Kris (currently unemployed due to the NBA lockout) made a little over $3 million.

So because Kim filed for divorce after just 2 short months, neither party will walk away with money from the other.

And not only that, but according to the divorce papers Kim filed Monday, she asked the court to reject any request by Humphries for spousal support.

To make matters worse, she also asked that both parties cover their own legal fees. (Talk about rubbing salt in an open wound!)

Adding insult to injury, Kim will also reportedly get to keep the $2 million engagement ring (because Kris didn’t pay for it … it was donated).

Poor Kris.

With the ink barely dry on their marriage license, Kim Kardashian will reportedly file for divorce from her husband Kris Humphries this morning after only 72 days of marriage!

According to TMZ, the paperwork has already been started, and the date of separation is listed as today, October 31st 2011.

Even though the marriage was very short and the couple qualifies for annulment, a source said that the reality star will not seek one.

Kim has hired famous divorce attorney Laura Wasser, who has repped for Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds and other celebrity divorcees, to represent her.

She cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind her decision to end her short-lived marriage.

Ever since they exchanged “I do’s” back on August 20th in a lavish wedding ceremony in Montecito, CA (which later aired on E!), rumors of a split between Kim Kardashian and Kri Humphries have been swirling about, despite the couple’s constant denials.

Can’t say we didn’t see this one coming!

She once played a “Single Lady” on a certain VH1 show … but now that a judge has finally granted her divorce from her abusive estranged husband, Stacey Dash is a single lady in REAL life!

The 45-year-old actress married actor Emmanuel Xuereb in 2007, but Dash filed for divorce from Xuereb in January 2010 on the very same day that she filed a restraining order against him.

Dash claimed that in the past, her then husband had beat her up on multiple occasions. She says he hit her in the face, head and body during their nearly 3-year marriage, but she was afraid to report it to police at the time.
