A paparazzo thought it’d be a good idea to antagonize ex-heavyweight championship boxer Mike Tyson at a ticket counter at Los Angeles’ LAX airport Wednesday (Nov 11). So he went through with his little plan and he ended up lying on his back on the floor bleeding. And then he and Mike BOTH got arrested.

TMZ has learned Mike Tyson has been arrested at LAX airport for battery after a bloody confrontation with a paparazzo outside the United terminal. We’re told Tyson punched the pap in the face and there is blood everywhere. We’re told Tyson was at a ticket counter at the United Airlines terminal when the incident occurred. The photographer got punched in the face, hit the ground, got up and began walking, leaving a trail of blood. An LAPD spokesperson said the photographer suffered a minor laceration to the forehead.

Someone at the scene tells TMZ … the photographer got very close to Tyson before the boxer struck him. Our says there’s blood on the ground and Mike was taken away in a squad car. We’re told an ambulance was dispatched at 4:39 PM to LAX and the paparazzo was transported to a local hospital.

Cops say Tyson and the photographer performed citizen’s arrests on each other — both are expected to be booked for misdemeanor battery. Cops also said witnesses backed both stories … so that could get interesting. If Tyson is prosecuted, given that he’s a former boxing champ, the charge could end up being assault with a deadly weapon.

It probably sounded like a good idea in the beginning, but we’re sure  the thought of “oh sh*t I don’t think I shouldn’t have done this!” came across the photographer’s mind as Mike delivered that blow to the face.

William Briggs (Katt’s attorney) told TMZ Katt was in Georgia shooting a movie, staying at the property of a friend and the movie’s producer, Barry Hankerson. ??Briggs says the reason his client was busted is because he was involved in a dispute with one of Barry’s employees who lives in the guesthouse. The vengeful employee called the cops and reported a faux burglary, Briggs says. Briggs adds Katt had “full permission” to be on the property and has been staying there for the last 3 weeks.

Katt’s bond was set at $41,150.

Rap star Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to a class “D” violent felony of attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree at a court hearing in Manhattan Thursday morning (Oct 22) stemming from a July 2007 arrest following a show in New York.

Police pulled over Wayne’s tour bus back in July 2007 on the night of his show at New York’s Beacon Theater, which also marked his first headlining concert in the city. After conducing a search of the bus, he and another man were subsequently arrested by NY police for criminal possession of a weapon (a .40-caliber semi-automatic) and criminal possession of marijuana, respectively.

At Thursday’s court hearing, he pleaded guilty to the charges and accepted a 1-year prison term, of which he’s only expected to serve about 8 months.

Lil Wayne (real name: Dwayne Carter) will officially be sentenced in February 2010, and at that point he must surrender himself to authorities and begin his prison sentence.

As Tiny sits at home holding down the fort, she briefly discusses with her fiancee  T.I. on the phone, “How is everything going?” And she’s provided an update on everything going on with the rapper.

“He hears things and we talk about it. He wants me to stay out the way, me being out of harm’s way. I know it’s a lot of crazy things going on so I try to stay in as much as possible because I don’t have him here. So I come out only when it’s necessary. I stay out the way…He’s doing good. He’s passing the time by working out and just doing things they do inside, you know,” she told All Hip Hop.

Tiny goes to visit T.I. every Sunday or Monday, with the only exception being an outbreak of a gastrointestinal virus in mid June swept the prison. Visitations were suspended for 18 days after 158 of the 2,000 plus inmates, along with several correctional staff members, reported symptoms of the virus. One inmate did test positive for norovirus.

But we’re glad to know all is peace in harmony in the world Tiny and T.I. as the Atlanta rapper  is still scheduled to be released from prison in the year 2010.

UPDATE: The man authorities arrested at an airport in Toronto, Canada was NOT Ryan Jenkins. As of right now, Jenkins is still on the loose…

TMZ is reporting that Ryan Jenkins, a former contestant on VH1’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” reality series, was arrested at an airport in Toronto, Canada. Jenkins was charged with the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore Thursday (Aug 20), which is 5 days after the super model’s mutilated body was found stuffed into a briefcase.

According to reports, Jenkins strangled and beat Flore before stuffing her naked body into a suitcase and placing it inside a dumpster in the Buena Park area of Southern California on the morning of August 15th 2009. Police also say her teeth and fingers had been removed in an obvious effort to evade investigators attempting to identify the remains. Investigators ended up identifying Fiore, who was last seen alive with Jenkins in San Diego, by using the serial numbers from her breast implants.

Ryan and Jasmine checked into the Lauberge Del Mar hotel last Friday night (Aug 14). Investigators say Jenkins left the hotel that following Saturday morning (Aug 15) with a grey suitcase, and later that day Ryan Jenkins reported her missing. Fiore hasn’t been seen alive since.

Upon hearing the news, VH1 halted all future airings of Megan Hauserman’s show, “Megan Wants a Millionaire,” where 32-year-old Ryan Jenkins was originally a contestant and supposed overall winner of the show, though VH1 hasn’t yet confirmed who actually won. But there are rumors floating around saying Ryan told his friends he won $250,000 after being chosen as the winner. So VH1 decided it’d be best to pull the plug on the show as it would put them in a very bad position to continue to air it in light of the charges recently brought against him. They’ve even removed the show completely from VH1.com.

Former NY Giants footballer Plaxico Burress plead guilty to illegally possessing a weapon Thursday morning (Aug 20). 32-year-old Burress is free on bail and will officially be sentenced on September 22nd, where he faces a two-year prison sentence, according to a spokeswoman for the District Attorney’s office. Upon release from prison, Burress will spend two years on house arrest.

The former NY Giants wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg at a Manhattan nightclub on November 29th 2008 with a pistol he was carrying in the waistband of his jeans. Burress wasn’t licensed to carry a pistol in neither New York nor New Jersey, where his teammate, linebacker Antonio Pierce, arranged to have the pistol delivered after driving Burress to the hospital immediately following the incident. The district attorney wanted to charge Pierce as well, but the grand jury didn’t indict him on any charges. No one, not even employees of the hospital Burress was admitted to, or anyone in the NFL, called the police to report the gunshot wound or the incident, which was required by law. In fact, one of the hospital works was suspended following the incident.

Immediately following the shooting incident, the Giants suspended Burress and released him in April of 2009.

Making the Band 2’s Sara Stokes is in trouble with the law for allegedly stabbing her husband with a knife following an argument earlier this month. According to TMZ, the former Bad Boy singer was arrested for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon after cops and paramedics were called on August 2nd at her and her husband’s Moreno Valley, CA home.

According to police, Sara stormed out of her house after an argument with her husband Tony. She then tripped and fell and accused him of doing it. Sara later grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Tony in the arm, while their 3 children looked on!

But Sara’s lawyer, Eric Kayira, says the singer and her husband love each other and all of this is just a big misunderstanding.

“Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”

Something about this is a little fishy. Those injuries to her face in the mugshot above look like they didn’t come from just a simple fall to the ground. A piece of this story is definitely missing. Remember the car scene (fast forward to 8:00) between Ike and Tina in What’s Love Got to Do With It? This is what this looks/sounds like … on a smaller scale.

An attorney for Shyne — born Jamal Barrow but now going by Moses Levi after converting to Judaism while in prison — said that the order marked one of the last remaining hurdles in the way of his client’s release from prison in October.

“He’s about 90 percent of the way home now,” attorney Oscar Michelin told MTV News following the hearing.

The district attorney’s office had recommended Shyne receive the maximum amount of five years of post-release supervision (essentially probation), due to the violent nature of his crime. In June of 2001, Shyne was sentenced to 10 years in prison — the most serious charge he was found guilty of was first-degree assault, after a patron in the club was shot in the face following a melee that started between a group of clubgoers and Diddy’s entourage, which included his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez and Shyne. Shyne brandished a gun and fired shots into the air to break up the argument.

After a couple of push-backs and a bit of confusion here and there on just when T.I. would begin his sentence, the Atlanta raper turned himself in Tuesday (May 26) at an Arkansas federal prison, where he began serving his notorious 366-day sentence stemming from those weapons charges he received in Atlanta back in 2007.

According to several reports, Mr. Clifford Joseph Harris is now in custody at a low-security section of the Forrest City Federal Correctional Center, where he will reportedly be in the general population with the rest of the inmates, despite his celebrity status.

According to Charysse Alexander, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia, reports of T.I. only serving two months in prison are completely inaccurate. She told MTV News that the Atlanta rapper was definitely given credit for his 305 days of house arrest, but that, unfortunately, has nothing to do with his year-and-a-day prison sentence.

She went on to say that according to federal sentencing guidelines, anyone who serves more than a year in prison is eligible for a 15 percent “good time” credit, which in T.I.’s case would mean that he could get close to 55 days knocked off of his total sentence.

Rapper and Grand Hustle CEO T.I. (real name Clifford J. Harris Jr.) will report to an Arkansas federal prison on Tuesday, May 26th 2009 to begin his very generous one year and one day jail sentence after pleading guilty to felony weapons charges back in March.. According to court filings and a report from The Associated Press, T.I. must report to the Forrest City low security federal prison by noon, where he will join 1,500 other inmates.

JoJo Simmons, the eldest Simmons boy, was busted by one-time Friday night for possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, reports TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 19-year old was seen allegedly buying the marijuana and rolling a joint while sitting in a car on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. We’re told he tried to get away by throwing his car into reverse, and nearly backed into the officer’s car.

Last Thursday, California police arrested a 26-year-old crazy woman dressed in camouflage who called herself sneaking into pop superstar Britney Spears‘ gated Oaks community in Calabasas. After somehow gaining access to the exclusive community, she proceeded to host a peepshow of her own through the windows of the home of the pop singer, who wasn’t there at the time but it was in the area for her “Circus” tour.

According to E! News, an LA County Sheriff’s deputy arrested the crazy woman, named Miranda Tozier-Robbins, on suspicion of trespassing and disorderly conduct after security guards caught her looking through Britney’s windows. At first glance, security thought she was a window washer, but after realizing that wasn’t the case, one of the private guards asked her to leave the premises, and she refused. So they physically escorted her off the property and called the cops.

Some crazy woman from Georgia named Dawne Wilson was arrested last Wednesday outside of Tyler Perry’s production studio in Atlanta after violating a restraining order Perry had previously obtained against her. Sources say Wilson had a long history of allegedly stalking Perry and he considers her “very dangerous.”

Well, TMZ obtained the restraining order Perry placed against the psycho and found some shocking details! The order claims that in March 2008, Dawne Wilson began contacting Perry via e-mail saying crazy things like “You need to check your heart condition because it is filled with murder…your love has been costly and deadly…Murder I say is the verdict….Why do you insist on assisting the devil?”

According to the police report, Storch began leasing a 2004 Bentley GT in February 2006 and was set to return it in March 2008. Well, here it is April 2009 and apparently, Scott Storch never turned in the vehicle! And Atlas Leasing Company, the owners of the vehicle, say they have been looking for the car for over 7 months! They said Storch failed to comply with the terms of their leasing agreement and they claim his negligence has cost the company $65,000 in revenue that could have been accruing from other potential clients who wanted to lease the Bentley.

Once he was arrested and booked, Storch posted an undisclosed amount of bail and went on his way. No word yet on a court date.

Nathan Mathers, who raps as Nathan Kane, was arrested early on Wednesday morning in the Detroit suburb of MAComb Township. According to local police, Mathers failed to pull over to let an ambulance pass and failed sobriety tests after he was stopped by cops. His blood-alcohol level was 0.16 per cent, twice the 0.08 per cent legal limit. The 23-year-old was charged with DUI and operating a vehicle while impaired and released on personal bond. He is scheduled for a hearing in Shelby Township’s district court on May 7th.

Authorities say the Outkast rapper was doing 109 mph in a 65 mph zone, which was identified as a suburban highway in Atlanta. After he was booked and took his mugshot pic, he was released on $1,200 bail.

Police say Andre told them his reason for speeding was because he missed his exit and had to turn around. His car of choice? A Porsche! No wonder he was zoomin, haha.

Rapper T.I. was sentenced Friday to one year and one day in prison on federal weapons violations, reports the Associated Press. In March of this year, the Atlanta native, whose real name is Clifford Harris, pleaded guilty to three charges of illegal weapons possessions after he was arrested following the purchase of illegal weapons and silencers prior to the 2007 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

He originally faced up to 10 years and a $250,000 fine for each count and had initially pleaded not guilty. But since changing his plea, he has performed over 1,000 hours of community service and with the help of MTV created a new reality series, “T.I.’s Road to Redemption,” where he warns young teenagers about the dangers of guns, drugs and violence.

He has 30 to 60 days to turn himself in.

According to court documents, the 46-year-old gospel star was charged after allegedly getting into an argument with his ex-wife, Debra, about their children back in February. Debra told authorities that Bebe pushed her to the ground, and after he was arrested and booked last Thursday, he posted $1,000 bond.

According to TMZ, rapper Coolio (real name: Artis Leon Ivey Jr.) was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for drug possession Friday afternoon. Coolio’s drug of choice? Crack cocaine!

We’re told the rapper was going through a security screening to get to his Southwest Airlines flight when a screener found crack cocaine on his person. Sources close to the situation tell us Coolio — real name Artis Leon Ivey, Jr — got physical with the screener at some point during the incident. Coolio posted $10,000 bail was released at 3:22 PM.

Getting busted with weed is one thing … but crack?! Wow! And at an airport of all places. All that money and you mean to tell us home boy couldn’t afford to pay someone else to smuggle his crack through airport security? We’re sure a crack carrier wouldn’t set him back 10 G’s.

Your boy Charles Barkley went to court in Arizona yesterday and plead guilty to 2 counts of driving under the influence and running a stop sign for that incident in Scottsdale, Arizona back in December 2008. Phoenix official say the former NBA player will spend 10 days in jail.

Barkley, a television basketball analyst, will have five days off the sentence suspended upon his completion of a court-approved alcohol program, officials said. He also was ordered to attend traffic school and pay $2,000 in fines. The 46-year-old Hall of Fame player is expected to begin serving his sentence on March 21, according to court records.

Barkley was arrested on December 31 in Scottsdale with an blood alcohol content of 0.149, nearly double the amount allowed under Arizona law. He apologized for his behavior and returned to cable network TNT last week after a six-week leave of absence.

He’s wanted for animal abuse, drug possession and theft of services charges for defrauding a local clinic of $7,500 in services back in April when he used a fake name to escape medical bills. His friends say he’s in rehab right now trying to kick his long-time drug habit.

If he doesn’t post a $120,000 cash bond by tomorrow, he’ll be extradited back to Arizona and they’ll handle him there.

Now, our question: What the hell was he doing at Scott Storch’s house?

OJ Simpson was sentenced to serve anywhere between 9 and 33 years in prison. The former football player’s sentencing was based on 12 charges, including felony kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy related to a 2007 confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel.

A weary and beaten-looking O.J. Simpson was put away Friday for at least nine years — and perhaps the rest of his life — for an armed robbery in a hotel room, bringing a measure of satisfaction to those who believed the football star got away with murder more than a decade ago. The 61-year-old Hall of Famer listened stone-faced, his wrists in shackles, as Judge Jackie Glass pronounced the sentence — 33 years behind bars with eligibility for parole after less than a third of that.

Moments before, Simpson made a rambling, five-minute plea for leniency, simultaneously apologizing for the holdup as a foolish mistake and trying to justify his actions. He choked back tears as he told her: “I didn’t mean to steal anything from anybody … I’m sorry. I’m sorry for all of it.”

The judge said several times that her sentence in the Las Vegas case had nothing to do with Simpson’s 1995 acquittal in the slaying of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. “I’m not here to try and cause any retribution or any payback for anything else,” Glass said.

But Goldman’s father, Fred Goldman, and sister, Kim, said they were delighted with the sentence. “We are thrilled, and it’s a bittersweet moment,” Fred Goldman said. “It was satisfying seeing him in shackles like he belongs.”

While you were at home over the weekend enjoying left-over turkey, New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress was at the club shooting himself. For real. We neglected to post this foolishness over the weekend, but here’s how it all went down. Basically, home boy was posted up in the club, the Latin Quarter to be exact, Saturday night with a gun in the waist band of his pants. After the gun dropped into his pants, he proceeded to reach for it and ended up shooting himself in the leg by mistake. Fortunately for him, the gunshot wound didn’t end his career because he didn’t hit any major arteries and didn’t break any wounds.

Well today, according to The New York Times, the idiot (pictured above), accompanied by his lawyer, turned himself in at a New York City police precinct in midtown Manhattan, just a few blocks north of the club. Because he didn’t have a permit to own a gun in New York City, the wide receiver could face anywhere from three to fifteen years in prison if convicted. He could also be punished by the NFL due to a personal-conduct policy in the league which states that violations of local gun laws can result in a player’s suspension.

I swear, these people make our job waaay to easy!

The incident, which took place outside the Tup Tup Palace club in Newcastle, England after West’s performance at Newcastle Arena, landed the 31-year-old rapper behind bars, but he was immediately released. He will be performing at Birmingham NEC tomorrow (Nov. 15th), Glasgow SECC (Nov. 16th), and the Manchester Evening News Arena on Nov. 17th.

No official statement from the label or Kanye’s camp has been released, and probaby won’t.

No charges were filed in this incident or the last one.

Police noticed that the SUV was missing a license plate and that three guns were in plain sight inside the vehicles. When Williams emerged from a nearby building, he told the cops that the vehicles were his, and the officers handcuffed him. Eighteen hours after being arrested, the comedian posted $25,000 bond and was released right around the time he was supposed to hit the stage at Carnegie Hall.

“Wearing baggy jeans and a satin shirt, [Williams] … spritzed himself with cologne and jumped into a black limo,” the paper reported. “Half an hour later, it screeched to a stop near the rear stage entrance on West 56th Street, and Williams, surrounded by bodyguards, jumped out and disappeared into the hall.”

Hitting the stage just over an hour late, Williams reportedly apologized to the audience, telling them, “I’m not moving at my usual pace. I just got out of jail 35 minutes ago.” He assured the audience that he raced to the show because of them, though, not for the payday. “I wasn’t thinking about the money — maybe because they paid me in advance.” [ SOURCE ]

So much illegal activity in one weekend. But as they say in show business, “the show much go on!”

Smyrna, Ga. police say they were responding to a gunshots fired call when they spotted Jennings’ Corvette hightailing it away from the scene. A chase ensued and Jennings eventually crashed. He was charged with felony weapon possession by a convicted felon and he faces charges of attempting to elude, as well as discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusing to take the sobriety test.

Lyfe was in prison from 1992-2002 after being convicted of arson.

Our question to Lyfe: Why?

TMZ is reporting that rap superstar Kanye West was arrested at LAX airport in Los Angeles for felony vandalism. According to the popular gossip site, Kanye allegedly confronted a paparazzo who was taking pictures of the hip-hop star at the American Airlines terminal early this morning. He allegedly smashed the photog’s camera to the ground, and his assistant subsequently smashed TMZ’s camera to the ground, breaking it. But there was still another TMZ camera on the scene, and when Kanye found out about it, he ran up to the guy behind the lens and yelled “Gimme that f**king tape!” Both Kanye and his assistant have been arrested and will apparently be booked.

While Kanye and his assistant shouldn’t have blown up and acted out in the way they did, I don’t believe they should have been arrested and booked. If anyone should have been arrested, it should have been the damn paparazzi! They take that sh*t too far sometimes, and Kanye could have been in the worst mood ever. Sometimes you just don’t want no damn camera in your face, and they should respect that. Kanye and his assistant aren’t the only wrong party in this situation. Doesn’t harassment come into play here somehow?

Harris pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in DeKalb County, and Superior Court Judge Gail Flake sentenced the rapper to 3 years behind bars, 7 years probation, and 200 hours of community service, in addition to completion of substance abuse treatment, mental evaluation and anger management classes.

When people go to jail for long periods of of time you always have to warn them and tell them to be safe for “obvious” reasons. But I don’t think Mr. Harris has that problem. I think the person we should give a heads up to is his cellmate! Watch your back, homie!

Finally … some good news! Yung Berg, best known as the guy who doesn’t like “dark butts,” has been arrested on a series of drug and weapons charges. The rapper, whose real name is Christian Ward, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing following a police investigation on Saturday.

According to reports, Yung Fag and four of his boys got into a dispute with a limo driver in New York over the weekend, prompting a call to authorities. This type of behavior comes as no surprise seeing as Yung Fag is signed to DMX’s label. And y’all know how he rolls…

According to Necole Bitchie, following a brief altercation late last night, rapper Lil’ Scrappy was stabbed and subsequently arrested by the police, and is currently being held in Dekalb Country jail. Word is the Atlanta rapper was responding to an emergency call from his sister, who was being attacked by her boyfriend. And when he rushed to her house to confront the guy, they got into a scuffle, which ended up in him being stabbed in the arm. When police arrived, they found along with $8,000 in cash, a .38 Caliber and 2 lbs. of marijuana. Scrappy is said to be in stable current condition and is currently being held on $1500 bond with the following charges: felony firearm/knife possession, felony marijuana possession, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor obstruction of officers.

See what you get for trying to help your sister? I hope they arrested her boyfriend too. I’ll have more info as this story develops…

Chicago Bears quarterback Cedric Benson was arrested for the second time for drunk driving in Austin, Texas yesterday. He was also ordered by his team to not consume alcohol to protect him from a situation like this. To me, looking at this picture, it seems a though he was tickled about this arrest. Cedric’s career isn’t looking too promising with the Chicago Bears either. Benson’s attorney spoke on the recent accusations and said:

“He’s probably in trouble with his team for breaking curfew and having anything to drink under the circumstances.”

This is what Remy Ma was quoted as saying as attempted one final time to receive a lighter sentence. Remy was arrested last year after she shot her longtime friend Makenda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach over an alleged confrontation of about $3,000 stolen from Remy’s purse. In March, she was found guilty of first-degree assault, criminal weapons charges and attempted coercion, which lead to her sentencing hearing today.

(Photo: Getty Images) 45-year-old Wesley Snipes was sentenced to 3 years in prison today by U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges. The actor has to serve time behind bars because he failed to file his tax returns, reports People.

“I’m very sorry for my mistakes and errors. I apologize to my family, the court and the community,” Snipes said as his wife looked on. “I’ve asked the court to show me mercy and the opportunity to make things right.”

According to reports, Snipes paid $5 million as a gesture of good will at the time of his sentencing, but surprisingly that’s not even half of what he owes. Prosecutors say that he owes close to $41 million in back taxes.

Basketball star Carmelo Anthony was arrested for DUI early Monday morning (Apr. 14th), just hours after leading his team to a victory over the Houston Rockets. The Denver Nuggets Small Forward was pulled over in his Mercedes after he was spotted weaving in and out of lanes and failing to dim his high-beam headlights. He was in the car alone when he was pulled over at about 4 A.M., Denver Police said.

In a statement issued through his attorney, Anthony said he regrets the incident.

“Carmelo apologizes to his fans, the Denver community, his teammates and the Nuggets organization for the distraction this is causing them,” the statement said.

Anthony was taken into custody, booked and later released after consenting to a blood test. He has a court date scheduled for May 14th.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who is famous for her deranged temper, was arrested at Heathrow airport in London after she reportedly spat on and physically assaulted an officer. According to UK’s The Sun, what set Naomi off was the fact that the airline had lost one of her three bags. Apparently the bag never made it on to the flight. The airline allegedly assured the model that her bags would be located, and returned to her soon, but obviously that wasn’t enough.

She began harassing airline staff who called cops as the flight was called and Naomi walked onto the plane. She was still yelling at boarding card staff as she took her seat. Three officers from the MET’s SO18 Aviation security branch then came onto the plane. They tried to calm the model down, but she is alleged to have reacted by spitting at an officer and then laying into him with her fists. Frenzied Naomi was bought under control after a struggle and then physically hauled off the plane. Cops were called and she was heard screaming “get off me, leave me alone” before she attacked one and was taken away to Heathrow police station.

An eyewitness said: “She attacked a male police officer and spat at him and she was taken to the airport police station.”

A Heathrow spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a passenger was removed by police from a BA flight this afternoon.”

That damn Naomi! I’m guessing she didn’t learn from her last bout with the law…

Another rapper made a trip to the courthouse today, but received slightly worse news. Rapper Remy Ma, who was accused of intentionally shooting her ex-best friend and stylist over $3,000 back in the summer of 2007 was found guilty of intentional assault, which can be punished by up to 25 years in prison. The jury acquitted Remy of charges of intimidating a witness in the case.

According to the NY Times, 26-year-old Remy “Remy Ma” Smith, kept her composure as Justice Rena K. Uviller ordered her to prison, until her sentencing next month. And it wasn’t until court officers closed the door to the courtroom holding cell behind her that she broke down, screaming, “My son! My son!” over and over again. Her lawyer, Ivan S. Fisher, later revealed that the rapper hadn’t said goodbye to her 8-year-old son that morning. She believed that she would win the case. And now, she might be in her 40s or 50s when she’s released from prison.

Rapper T.I. pleaded guilty to federal weapons possession charges in court today (Mar. 27th), and will receive a sentence that includes prison time after he completes community service. In the year that he is awaiting sentencing, Clifford “T.I.” Harris, must complete at least 1,000 hours of a total 1,500 hours of community service, talking to youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs and drugs. According to officials, the CEO of Grand Hustle Entertainment will be sentenced to serve 1 year in prison after completing the community service. His prison time could be increased or reduced, depending on his fulfillment of the terms of the deal and good behavior, they added. Dressed in a grey business suit, the rapper expressed to the judge that he understands the terms of the agreement.

“I’d like to thank God for blessing me with a second chance in life and success,” T.I. said to the media. “I’m looking forward to turning this negative time in my life into a positive. I know I have a long road of redemption to travel.”

U.S. Attorney David Nahmias said that in addition to the 1 year prison sentence and the 1,500 hours of community service, T.I. will have to serve 3 years of supervised home detention (house arrest) and pay a $100,000 fine. That’s a far cry of the original sentence, which amounted to close to or more than 20 years! But if he “fails to fulfill his obligations,” a much longer sentence will be the consequence.

Dipset rapper Juelz Santana was arrested last week in his hometown of Teaneck, New Jersey after being stopped by the police, who after a search of his Bentley, found 29 hollow point bullets wrapped in a sock and marijuana in the form of blunts and roaches. The arresting officer claimed he smelled marijuana coming from Santana’s car and after searching the vehicle, noticed several “roaches” (very small blunts), Dutch Masters, and White Owl cigars.

Police also discovered nearly $20 grand in cash in a hidden plastic bag filled with “hundreds of Jolly Rancher candies.” They also found a blunt in the sock where they found the hollow points, and a sandwich bag of marijuana in the police car where he had been sitting.

I guess white girls aren’t the only celebrities who get sprung from prison early. For the past week, there have been reports going back and forth stating that rapper The Game had been released, and shortly after that, the reports changed to him being transferred over to another facility, and then back to him being reelased. Well now the official word from the rapper is that he’s free and back at home.

After serving eight days of jail time, rapper The Game walked out of Los Angeles’ Twin Tower Correctional Facility a free man on March 9. And after conflicting reports as to whether he was indeed free, the Game has officially released a statement confirming that he’s back home.

“I apologize for the conflicting news on my release,” says The Game. “But due to the sensitive negotiations on this matter, I felt it appropriate not to give an exact date on my release. I am truly grateful to my attorney, family and management for doing a great job in this respect. Upon my release I went directly to the studio with producers Cool & Dre and recorded several records including my street record ‘Big Dreams.’ Thank you to all my fans as well for the support.” [ VIA BILLBOARD ]

Rapper The Game turned himself in last night (March 2nd 2008) to begin serving a 60-day weapons possession prison sentence. 28-year-old Jayceon Taylor was sentenced to a 2-month prison sentence last month after he pleaded no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.

Dozens of friends and supporters showed up with the rapper rocking “Free the Game” t-shirts as he turned himself in, accompanied by his lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley. Game will reportedly be held in a separate area from the general population. In addition to serving the 60 days, The Game was sentenced to 150 hours of community service and three years probation.

It is rumored that the rapper probably won’t even serve his full term, but once he is released, he is expected to continue work on his upcoming album, titled LAX., which will reportedly be his final album before “going into retirement.” The album features production from Dr. Dre, Cool & Dre, Scott Storch and others.

It has been confirmed by local news channel WMDT 47 in Salisbury, Maryland, R&B singer J.Holiday was arrested Thursday night after being pulled over on Route 50 for racing with another vehicle … and having some weed in the “back of his lac!” Sgt. Frank Russo said when the officers pulled J.Holiday (real name: Nahum Grymes) over, they picked up a strong odor resembling that of marijuana coming from the singer’s car, which led to a search of his vehicle. According to WMDT, a small amount of marijuana was found in the center console of the vehicle. Holiday and his passenger, George Jackson, both face charges of drug possession, while the driver of the other car, Rolland Wesley, faces traffic-related charges.

R&B singer Ne-Yo was arrested earlier this week (Tuesday Feb. 19th) in Cobb County, Georgia for speeding! Cops pulled Ne-Yo over after his 2006 Range Rover was clocked at over 100 mph. He was arrested for reckless driving and for not having a valid license. But eff all of that. What the cinnamon apple fudge cake is up with dude’s harline?! Ne-Yo is how old? Not old enough to have a receding hairline like that, I know that much! Maybe he was on his way to Walgreen’s to pick up some Propecia. I’d speed too. I need to stop making jokes though, because all of my uncles (and my dad) lost their hair in their 30s. So I’m screwed…

Lil Wayne was arrested on not one, not even two, but THREE felony drug charges earlier today (January 23rd) after federal agents said they found illegal drugs, including cocaine, on his charter bus at a checkpoint in southwestern Arizona, AP is reporting. Cocaine Weezy? Oh really?? The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., spent the day at the Yuma County jail before being released, Capt. Eben Bratcher said. After posting more than $10,000 bond, the rapper signed autographs for fans outside a bondsman’s office.

James Tilson, a local lawyer retained by Carter, said that his client was not formally charged and that his next court date was scheduled for Friday, January 25th.

“We will find out by January 25th whether or not the [Yuma] county attorney will file charges or not,” Tilson said. “He is looking forward to his day in court. That’s all I can say right now.”

The 25-year-old rapper faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Weezy’s bus was stopped at approximately 11:30 P.M. Tuesday night at a Border Patrol checkpoint near Dateland, Arizona, which is about 78 miles east of Yuma, Capt. Bratcher said. A Border Patrol dog alerted agents to the presence of illegal drugs on the bus, said Drug Enforcement Administration spokeswoman Ramona Sanchez. After they searched the bus, they found nearly 4 ounces of marijuana and just over an ounce of cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia. DEA agents then arrested Carter, who was traveling with 11 others.

Officials also found a .40-caliber pistol registered to Carter, who has a concealed weapons permit in Florida. Authorities are looking into whether he violated any weapons laws in Arizona. Two other men were arrested with him, and they each face a charge of possession of marijuana.

In addition to returning all 5 of the medals she won in the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Marion Jones was sentenced to 6 months in prison for lying to federal investigators about her steroid use and check-fraud scheme, according to a report published by People last week.

“I absolutely realize the gravity of the offenses I’ve committed. I want to apologize,” Jones told the court as she began to cry, according to ABC News. “I plead with you,” she said, to not separate “me from my boys even for a short while.”

Her lawyers asked for leniency, according to the Associated Press, but U.S. District Judge Kenneth Karas in White Plains, N.Y., sentenced the 31-year-old to the prison term as well as two years of supervised release, during which she will be required to perform 800 hours of community service. In sentencing, the judge said he gave her the maximum under her plea deal to send a message to athletes who have abused drugs and overlooked the values of “hard work, dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship.”

Jones, who used steroids distributed by the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative – the same lab that supplied steroids to New York Yankees star Jason Giambi and San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds – is the first professional sports figure to get prison time. Jones is also now said to be in financial ruin.

Word on the curb is that Rapper Beanie Sigel is headed back to his first home [1], prison, for violating his probation. Sigel was reportedly ordered to serve one day in federal prison and six months in a halfway house, after he was found guilty on Wednesday (January 8th) of a second probation violation for taking a trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey. A judge found that Sigel took an unauthorized trip to Atlantic City and had contact with a convicted felon. U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick ordered Sigel to spend a day in prison, which was served on Wednesday, and extended his probation by 18 months, including the halfway house sentence. During those six months, Sigel can pursue his work in Philadelphia by day but cannot travel to promote his latest album, “The Solution.” The 33-year-old rapper (real name: Dwight Grant) has had a string of legal problems in recent years but insists he is a changed man.

“I’m human, but I’m working on my mistakes,” he told Surrick. “I do believe that other people do get a chance to go back into society and do the work that they do.”

Just in time for us to begin our “end of the year” posts, Yung Joc is the proud recipient of our “Dumb Ass of the Year!” award. Home boy attempted to take a loaded gun onto a Delta Air Lines flight, and was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. 27-year-old Jasiel Robinson (Yung Joc) was arrested about 6:20 A.M. Sunday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport before boarding, police spokesman Lt. Thomas Stacho said.

Police found a semiautomatic handgun and ammunition in his carry-on bag, and he told them he did not know the weapon was there, Stacho said. Robinson was attempting to go through a standard security checkpoint when he was stopped and questioned, then arrested without incident, said Fred Szabo, airport commissioner. Robinson was freed this morning on $50,000 bond after he was formally charged with the felony. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.

“Yung Joc maintains his innocence. He would appreciate privacy as he addresses these allegations,” said Stanley Jackson Jr., his lawyer.

Stupid ass! I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt (since it’s Christmas) and believe his little story that “he didn’t know it was there.” But never-the-less … stupid ass!

MTV News has obtained a federal complaint filed on behalf of former Pretty Ricky member Pleasure by his attorneys Robert Meloni and Steve Schwartz.

In the complaint, the R&B singer (born Marcus Cooper), alleges a number of wrongdoings against Joseph “Blue” Smith and Bluestar Entertainment, the company Pretty Ricky is signed to in a deal with Atlantic Records. The group’s management and booking company, International Artist Agency, is also named in the suit.

According to Pleasure, Smith deceived the singer by first acting as a surrogate father to him and also serving in roles that were conflicts of interest for Pleasure and the group, including acting as a personal manager, business manager, booking agent, record exec and music publisher. The suit alleges that Smith “exploited conflict of interests in the competing roles he occupied in Cooper’s life.”

International Artist Agency, headed by Stephen Brush, is alleged to have abetted a number of Smith’s practices, according to the complaint.

Pleasure, according to the information filed earlier this week, is seeking a release from his contract with Bluestar and back pay owed to him. The suit claims that the former Pretty Ricky star has not been properly compensated for his contributions to the group, whose two albums have both been certified gold (500,000 Units sold).

The suit also alleges that Smith used physical intimidation. According to the complaint, when Pleasure began to distance himself from the group and sought out the friendship of others, in one instance, Smith attacked a friend of the singer’s as a means of coercion.

Pleasure first raised eyebrows earlier this year on the red carpet at the BET Hip Hop Awards, when he announced he was leaving the successful act. The group’s only singer told the media he would be pursuing a solo career instead.
