Both Beyonce and Lady Gaga are gearing up for their takeover and have released their collaborations with each other. While we’re definitely feeling the “Video Phone” Remix, it isn’t much better than the original version. The extended intro and outro work the the track and Gaga’s verse was “okay.” We think she could have come a bit harder but then again she was up against Beyonce and let’s face it, “Video Phone” is Beyonce’s song and it fits Beyonce.

But we definitely can see the two making a hot video to this and in just a matter of weeks, we will see the final result. It is being rumored once again that the video will premiere on November 23rd to go with release day of both Lady Gaga’s re-release and Beyonce’s DVD/CD combo. It was actually supposed to premiere last week, but something happened and they pushed it back to the 23rd.

Naturally, when a Rihanna or Chris Brown song leaks, look out for the other to release a track not too long after.

Chris debuted his next single on his twitter and insists there are so many singles because he is “trying to give all [his] fans more music”. Well thank God cause we’re surely tired of all the interviews and drama.

A new song from Rihanna’s upcoming Rated R album leaked not too long ago. The track is called “Cold Case Love” and it was written by Justin Timberlake and produced by his team.

In the song, she’s obviously taking shots at ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The track is not bad but it isn’t anything to write home about. We got a bit bored listening to it but it finally heats up about 3 and a half minutes in. Unfortunately, she doesn’t sing for too much longer after that and the ending is a bit too long. Definitely not a bad track but we’re lad it’s not a single…for now.

Another track from Rihanna’s soon-to-be-released album Rated R has surfaced. The song is called “Hard” and it features Young Jeezy.

This is definitely the best track we’ve heard from the Rated R recording sessions. The beat goes hard and has a lot of swag but unfortunately, Jeezy’s verse is the standout of the song and Rihanna’s voice starts to get irritating after a bit. And it’s her damn song, SMH… There are a couple R&B chicks we could name that’d fit better on this track. But it is what it is. Peep the download link below.

It seems everyone is suffering from leaks these days. Another track has surfaced from Leona Lewis‘ upcoming album Echo. The track is titled “Lost Then Found” and was produced by Ryan Tedder.

“Lost Then Found” is very nice and naturally, Leona sounds amazing on it, but it seems like these typical ballad songs are the only thing she’s good at. It’s nothing special and if you’ve heard one Leona track, you’ve heard them all. On the bright side, she is trying out new styles by having another vocalist on the track.

Singer Michelle Williams recently sent us a link to the remix version of her song “Sick of It,” produced by SoulShock and Karlin. This version here was remixed by Chris Dave.

She recently revealed on her Twitter that she has a remix version of every song on her underrated album Unexpected and she will be slowly releasing all of them, so fans of Michelle’s work (including us) should be a bit amped! Unexpected was a good album and it’s sad it didn’t do well. Maybe next time…

A new Usher song called “Rockband” was recently leaked to the Internet and we can definitely assure you that it’s better than that “Papers” song he dropped a few weeks ago!

It seems like Chris is coming hard this era. He sparked some controversy when it was announced that he was still releasing his album this year. Some said it was too soon after he was charged with the beating of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. But clearly, he is delivering with this new album and “Crawl” is the definition of a ballad; lyrically and production wise, it is on point. Definitely a nice track that we’re predicting will do very well on the charts.

Side note: Does anyone else find it iffy that a day after Rihanna releases a song about suicide because of a relationship Chris releases one about making the relationship work and “[crawling] back to love”? Hmm…

American Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is getting ready to release his debut CD For Your Entertainment on November 23rd and is sparking a buzz with the release of his lead single from the soundtrack for the movie “2012,” set for release next year.

Take a listen to “So Cold,” a new song from Chris Brown. Brown confirmed via his Twitter page that the track, produced by Polow Da Don and co-written by Ester Dean and Teyana Taylor, will indeed be featured on his upcoming third studio album, Graffiti. He just hopes his album doesn’t leak:

Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez is jumping on the alter ego bandwagon and his naming her other personality “Lola” (what happened to J.Lo???). Lopez is releasing a new album in January 2010, titled Love? and this track here, “Fresh Out the Oven” (featuring rapper Pitbull) is a promotional track for the LP, which will be Lopez’s 7th studio album (and her first in 3 years). Though Lopez is calling herself “Lola” for the sake of promoting this new track, sources tell People.com that she hasn’t adopted the alter ego just yet.

A note of explanation: Lopez’s new song will not appear on her upcoming album – and a Web site established to promote it, featuring a dancing female figure named Lola, has spawned rumors that Lopez has adopted a new persona.

Not so. “Lola is just for this song, it’s not her ongoing persona,” says a source close to the singer. “It’s something fun. She hasn’t become Sasha Fierce [Beyoncé's artistic alter ego]. There won’t be anything to do with Lola on her Love? album.”

“This is a hot club record that the label loved and Jennifer thought was fun,” Amanda Ghost, president of Epic Records tells PEOPLE. “Jennifer and Pitbull got together and the record leaked. Lola is a fun character just for this song.”

D/L: J.LO & PITBULL – “FRESH OUT THE OVEN”

Well looky here. Here’s Usher’s new song “Papers,” the debut single from his forthcoming sixth studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond, set for release December 8th. The Sean Garrett penned track, which made its debut shortly after 2 PM (EST) today (Oct 5), has Usher’s ex-wife Tameka’s name written all over it. He talks about giving his all and receiving nothing in return, even though he damn near separated himself from the world, especially his mother.

“I gave my heart and turned my back against the world / ‘Cuz you were my girl / I done damn near lost my mama / I done been through so much drama / I done turned into the man that I never thought I’d be / I’m ready to sign them papers!”

With lyrics like, “I done took all I can take, but you leave me no options, girl…” it’s evident that going through that divorce was a last resort for Usher.

I can’t deny how much I loved you / I done gave up everything I had too / As hard as it is I’m afraid I’ve gotta say, I’m ready to sign them papers

You’ll also notice that Usher has silently changed his name from “Monster” to “Raymond vs. Raymond.” No word on the name change just yet, but we’re sure the question will come up in an upcoming interview of some sort. So this is it. Chris Brown’s official first comeback single. “I Can Transform Ya” features rapper Lil’ Wayne and producer Swizz Beatz. The track is the debut single from his upcoming third album Graffiti, set to drop sometime early next year. It’s interesting to see how well this single and the album will do considering all of the negative press Chris has been getting ever since that big fight with Rihanna back in February 2009.

But so far, radio stations all over are reporting that the song is getting a great reception and a lot of positive feedback, despite Brown’s troubled past.

Greenville, South Carolina’s Hot 98.1 began playing the song as soon as it was available, and operations manager/ program director Steve Crumbley said the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive. “The audience loves it,” he said. “The response has been phenomenal, plus you have Lil Wayne on it, so you can’t miss.” According to Crumbley, the recent unsavory headlines surrounding Brown don’t appear to have slowed his career. “You mean because of the Rihanna thing? I didn’t think not playing a man’s record had anything to do with what he did,” Crumbley said when asked whether he’d hesitated to spin the tune. “I’m not making light of abuse. That is terribly wrong and he had to deal with that, but if the man’s got a good song, he’s got a good song.” Crumbley said he’s had not a single negative call about the song so far.

Check out “Back to the Crib,” a new song with Chris Brown singing the hook and Juelz Santana spitting bars over a dope trumpet-filled beat. Even though some parts sounds like Chris added some “enhancements” to his voice, we still think this is a pretty solid track. It’s good he and Juelz are still working together after all of these years too. Remember, Juelz was featured on Chris’ breakthrough track, “Run It,” back in 2005 when he first hit the scene. But anyway, take a listen to their new song below!

Pop legend Madonna and hip-hop star Lil Wayne have teamed up on a track titled “Revolver,” which will be featured on Madonna’s upcoming greatest hits album, titled Celebration. M’s compilation album drops September 29th and will be released along with a DVD of music videos.

This sounds more like a Britney song than a Madonna song, but Lil Wayne being enlisted to be featured on the track should definitely be celebrated. And the fact that he’s singing in the song is hilarious to us!!

Leona’s vocals sound amazing on it and adds to the haunting feel of the track, set to be released to radio September 21st. Her sophomore album drops November 17th. It was getting where I didn’t know if I could finish it. And then the other night I had a moment and I finished the song. That’s gonna be the last song on the retail version of So Far Gone. And the third verse transitions into [album] Thank Me Later. So the last line of the third verse is gonna be the first line on my album.”

Alexandra Burke premiered her first single Bad Boys early Tuesday (Aug 26) on Great Britain’s Radio 1. The song features rapper Flo Rida and is the kind of song that the radio will instantly eat up! It’s an infectious dance track that we can see being blasted in clubs and cars all over, and it helps that Alex’s voice suits the vibe of the track and she sounds really good on it. It seems that they didn’t want her to be compared to her predecessor Leona Lewis so she’s gone a completely different route. Download the track below and let us know what you think about it. In an highly unsurprising move, rapper Eminem has finally responded to Mariah Carey for her “Obsessed” song and video that are both rumored to be aimed at him. He’s dissed Mimi before but this time around he comes harder than ever and completely destroys both Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon. The track is called “Warning” and it explicitly details parts of their “relationship” and proclaims that he has naked pictures of her and he just basically rips her to shreds.

But at this point, we’re not really expecting a response from Mariah for two reasons. 1) She’s too classy and too much of a lady for the petty drama. And 2) If any of this that Eminem says is true, she’s going to keep her mouth shut so nothing will leak. We’re pretty curious to find out what REALLY happened between them for both of them to hate each other so much. Check out the song below!

Hey, guess what?! Lil Wayne’s Rebirth album might not even be coming out. The LP, which has been pushed back more times than we can count, has a new November 2009 release date but we’re just gonna go out on a limb here and say don’t get your hopes up too high. Because come October or November (or even sooner) you may either hear that the album has been shelved or pushed back … again. But we could be wrong. We’re just saying … don’t set yourselves up for disappointment by getting your hopes up for an album that’s been “finished” for nearly a year and has yet to see the light of day…

“Honestly, I’m just starting up this Young Money label and I’m trying to get my artists down right. Get everybody together,” Weezy told MTV News. “Once I got that together, then I could work back on me. I’m a very humble person. I know once I get to it, I’mma get to it. So like I was saying, it’s Young Money time, so making sure my artists get their just due.”

We’re definitely feeling the track. Rihanna and Kanye are good additions to the song and they definitely give it a better feel. Expect this to burn up the radios and be on the lookout for the album, which drops online and in stores September 11th.

From the two tracks we’ve heard so far, it seems that Whitney’s new album is shaping up really nicely. We love the song and even though she doesn’t go into crazy notes like she used to, her voice still sounds amazing. It’s definitely good to have some real talent back in the game. Hopefully she will see the huge success she deserves with this album.
