A colorful Nicki Minaj performed her hit single “Super Bass” as the Young Money femcee and a slew of sexy runway models closed out the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was held earlier this month (Wed. Nov 9) in New York, and aired on TV last night (Tue. Nov 29) on CBS.

After performing with Jay-Z … Kanye West returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011 runway solo and performed “Stronger,” which he dedicated to his mother who passed away in 2007.

“In 2007 I was suppose to perform this song on this show but I lost my superhero, now she’s my super angel,” Kanye said to the audience at the beginning of his performance.

Rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z — collectively known as “The Throne” — hit the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which aired on TV last night, and performed an energetic rendition of their latest single “N**gas in Paris,” while a pregnant Beyonce watched and sang along from the audience.

Maroon 5 gave a performance of their hit “Moves Like Jagger” during the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which aired on CBS Tuesday night (Nov 29).

At one point during the performance, the band’s lead singer Adam Levine breaks away from the group when his girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret model Anne V, hits the runway … and the pair walk hand-in-hand down the catwalk just before Levine plants a kiss on her cheek. (Aww!)

Lady Gaga made headlines this week after the Pop star showed up at the International Emmys Monday night (Nov 21) in a long black dress designed by Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture in France that exposed her leg, upper thigh and her butt cheek.

But apparently … the dress wasn’t made that way!

A rep for the designer revealed that the asymmetrical gown came right off the catwalk, and was intended to be worn by a model much taller than Gaga. “The slit came way further up her waist than what our designers had in mind,” the rep told TMZ.

“We’re not mad that the dress ended up looking like that on Gaga … she does make it a little naughtier!” Stéphane Rolland joked.

Rappers Kanye West, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj, as well as rock band Maroon 5, all lended their musical talents to the runway of the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, held last Wednesday (Nov 9) in New York.

After performing his hit “Stronger” and dedicating it to his mom, the late Donda West, who he called his “superangel,” Kanye West was joined onstage by Jay-Z for their first televised performance of “N**gas In Paris,” the next single from their collaboration album “Watch the Throne.”

Next came Maroon 5, who performed their hit “Moves Like Jagger” as the models strutted their stuff down the runway.

Front-man Adam Levine broke away from the band when his girlfriend Anne V. hit the runway, and he serenaded her as the pair walked hand-in-hand down the catwalk.

And last but not least was femcee Nicki Minaj, who helped close out the show with a performance of her hit single “Super Bass.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on Tuesday, November 29th at 10 pm ET on CBS.

The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was taped in New York City at the Lexington Avenue Armory Wednesday night (Nov 9) for a TV special that will air on CBS later this month.

The pink carpet featured appearances from various celebs like TV personality Lala Anthony, R&B singer Maxwell, Hip-Hop mogul and philanthropist Russell Simmons, actor Cuba Gooding Jr., model Tyson Beckford and Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine.

Supermodels Chanel Iman and Miranda Kerr looked absolutely stunning as they ripped the runway, showing off the brand’s newest and sexiest styles of lingerie, with Kerr walking down the runway wearing the $2.5 million diamond-studded bra designed by London Jewelers.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs Tuesday, November 29th at 10 pm ET on CBS.

Kanye West has been making lots of headlines recently for his choice of attire while performing with Jay-Z for their “Watch the Throne” Tour.

Making one of the biggest fashion statements in the world of Hip-Hop to date, the controversial rapper has been spotted wearing a long, leather skirt that he covers up with a long-fitting t-shirt (almost as long as the skirt) on all of he and Jay-Z’s tour dates.

The tour has so far stopped in places like Atlanta, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. and more recently New York City’s famous Madison Square Garden.

Surprised at Yeezy’s choice of fashion, a Huffington Post contributor wrote, “We were surprised to see Yeezy assume his macho position as World’s Biggest Hip Hop Star at Madison Square Garden in the unexpected look.”

Another blogger wrote on fashion website TheGloss.com, “It’s interesting that Kanye’s skirt is a little subversive in his super machismo’ed out field of Hip-Hop.”

After debuting his new women’s wear fashion line Dw by Kanye West at Paris Fashion Week, the “Power” rapper had a few things to get off his chest about all the negative criticism he has been receiving.

“I’m feeling good.[...]Thank you for anybody that didn’t believe, because they motivated us to break our boundaries. We don’t know what the reviews will be, we don’t know what they will say, but I got a chance to go to Italy and feel those fabrics. I begged Louis Vuitton to let me do more shoes after my shoes sold out in two weeks, and they did not. I begged Nike, I begged this company to let me do it. And I took out motherf—ing loans to get the best models, to get the best designers, to get the best venue. I gave you everything that I had.

“This is my first collection. Please be easy. Please give me a chance to grow. This is not some celebrity s—. I don’t f— with celebrities. I f— with the creatives in this room, the amazing people who spend every day of their life trying to make the world a more beautiful place.

“The amount of people that tried to get me a celebrity f—ing deal. They said, ‘You need to do boot-cut jeans, or you won’t sell.’ Shut the f— up ! The 6th annual event was held to raise money for Japan relief efforts following the devastation the island country suffered at the hands of a massive earthquake earlier this year.

“I felt very passionate to try and help in whatever way possible, to do our part and to support at this time. I hope that the money raised from Fashion for Relief in Cannes will support those who need it most,” Naomi said at the event.

After flaunting his love for fashion in his songs and sporting the latest trends every chance he gets, it comes as no surprise that Kanye West is set to design a line of scarves.

The rapper turned fashion designer will collaborate with French designers Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag, otherwise known as M/M, to release a line of silk scarves, which are said to be inspired by the album artwork of his latest release, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

The 250 limited edition scarves will be released this spring and will bring together elements of the album’s cover images and liner notes that were created by artist, George Condo. You can find West’s handy-work at Colette and mmparis.com once they’re available for sale.

So, uh… super duper rich celebrity Miley Cyrus can’t seem to get enough of a brown Harley Davidson t-shirt she wears way too often for a star of her status.

First, we saw her wearing it twice on a night out in New York, but we didn’t know that wasn’t the first nor the last time! Before then, she was seen wearing the same tee at LAX on November 3rd, and just five days later she wore it again in Madrid with a red coat over it.

Most recently, Miley wore the (must be) lucky t-shirt on the set of her new movie “So Undercover“ on Wednesday (Dec 15). Perhaps her oh-so-caring fans could mail her some new tees so she can put this brown Harley Davidson one to rest?

Adriana Lima, one of Victoria’s Secret hottest bombshells, worked the runway this past Wednesday (Nov. 10) at the world-famous lingerie line’s fashion show.

The 29-year-old angel from Brazil looked absolutely stunning as she made her “comeback” to the modeling scene after taking some time off in 2009 to have her first child. It comes as no surprise that this year lady Lima was chosen as the official bearer of the Victoria’s Secret million dollar bra. Her body looks spectacular as ever!

Top model Selita Ebanks looks radiant as she walks down this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway, due to broadcast on CBS on November 30th.

The Cayman Islands beauty, who recently appeared in Kanye West‘s short film “Runaway” as his bird girlfriend, put the feathers down this year and rocked zebra print lingerie and a jungle cape instead. Feathers or no feathers, Ms. Ebanks is a stunner!

For the second year in a row, model Chanel Iman struts her stuff on the catwalk at The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place Wednesday night (Nov. 10) in New York City.

The always star-studded event will air on CBS on November 30th, 2010 with performances by Katy Perry and Akon.

Katy Perry performed a medley of her hits at the filming of the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City last night (Wed. Nov 10). The “Teenage Dream” singer worked the crowd and the notoriously gorgeous models when she also performed a cover of Blondie’s song “Call Me”.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is due to air on November 30th on CBS.

“Black Swan” is considered a “ballet thriller” ….. and so are the costumes, which were designed by fashion designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy, a pair of sisters who work for Rodarte (a fashion label), and were introduced by Portman to the film’s director Darren Aronofsky.

Their task was to design tutus and costumes primarily for the movie’s “Swan Lake” performance, as well as “different things throughout.”

Speaking on the challenges of designing an intricate costume like a tutu, Laura (who had only seen a ballet costume up close ONCE before the film) said:

“A tutu is 13 layers of tulle sticking straight out and then it’s over the body, so you can imagine. It’s crazy! Building a tutu is one of the lost couture arts. Everyone will know it’s like getting your hand on the prize, like a coveted piece of couture that no one ever gets to see,” Laura explained. “You can’t go rent a tutu. You have to own it…They’re never actually perfect, but from afar, when you’re in the audience, it looks like one of the most beautiful things in the world.”

Supermodel Adriana Lima was spotted in the Soho district of New York City Wednesday afternoon (Oct 20) modeling a $2 million dollar bra for Victoria’s Secret.

The “Bombshell Fantasy Bra” contains more than 3,000 jewels and took six craftsman 1500 hours to complete. (Now that’s a full time job!!) It also required Adriana to be escorted by a security team and is a preview of what you can expect to see at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Runway Show airing November 30th on CBS.

Looks like Christina Milian is ready to make a comeback!

Fresh off her divorce from The Dream (and giving birth to her first child), the R&B singer launched her new eyewear line “C. Milian Eyewear” over the weekend (Fri. Oct 15) during a Los Angeles Fashion Week fashion show in Hollywood, California at Sunset Gower Studios.

C.Milli also hit the stage and performed a new song called “Zipper,” which comes straight from her new album Elope (due in stores sometime next year), along with her 2004 single “Dip It Low” during the runway show.
