It’s back to business for Beyonce!

The R&B/Pop diva is gearing up for her big return to the stage tonight, as part of four shows that will take place this weekend at the $2.4 billion Revel Resort in Atlantic City, her first live concert performances since last September’s “4 Intimate Nights with Beyonce” concert series.

The concerts will also serve as her first time on stage since giving birth to Blue Ivy back in January.

Further raising anticipation for the performances, Beyonce has released behind-the-scenes video footage of the show, showing her fans the intimate happenings on the other side of the stage.

“It is exciting … I feel a little nervous,” she says in the clip. “I’m enjoying being a mother so it’s like going back to an old job and it’s a little strange but it’s important that you don’t lose yourself, that you have your own passions. And I’m back to work, I’m back to business.”

Contrary to what you may see in movies and on TV … Meagan Good is a “good” girl.

Years ago, after several failed relationships, Meagan Good — who is known for her sexy vixen-like acting roles — vowed to herself that she wouldn’t have sex again until she was married, and apparently she kept her promise.

The 30-year-old actress reveals in a recent interview with Life & Style Magazine that she and her preacher man fiancee DeVon Franklin have remained celibate for the past year, and their wedding night will be the first time they have sex.

“Our wedding night will be the first time we’re actually together.”

Meagan and DeVon, a Seventh Day Adventist preacher, started dating shortly after running into each other on the set of “Jumping the Broom,” where DeVon was working his day job as a Sony film executive. She says they had known each other for six years before that.

The future Mrs. Franklin said that when they started dating, she knew DeVon was ‘the one’ because he was willing to be celibate with her until they got married. She told Life & Style:

“He was willing to be celibate with me for a year … He loves God, more than I love God, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong [with him].”

Last month, Meagan explained to Global Grind what ultimately brought her to the decision to become celibate:

“I was crying about so much at the time that God told me exactly what it was going to be and he told me that the next relationship that I got into was going to be ‘the’ relationship. God told me specifically what the criteria was with the man I was going to marry and he told me to not settle.

“So I would meet guys who are Christians or loved the Lord, but they weren’t trying with all their heart to walk with him. And I wouldn’t feel in myself that that was the guy, so even if I liked him or was attracted to him I would say, ‘OK I’m not going to settle.’

“Then shortly after that I became celibate. I said, ‘Alright Lord, let’s see what you have for me.’ Oddly enough, Devon and I had known each other for six years and [Jumping The Broom] wrapped nine moments before we even dated. During a couple of those months before, it started getting in my spirit that he was going to be my husband and he didn’t even know.

“I came and did this thing in his church where I talked about my testimony. I already told my godsister in the car on the way over there. Oh, he’s my husband I know that. And we didn’t start dating till three months after that.”

And while Meagan isn’t ready to reveal their wedding date just yet, she did reveal the luxurious location.

“We found the venue, which I’m really excited about, and it’s going to be in Malibu,” she told Life & Style. “I know I want to go for a bayou-themed kind of Spanish mosque, a very enchanted-y Twilight feel.”

Former NBA MVP Allen Iverson was in the house Wednesday night (May 23) for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics.

Iverson received a standing ovation and a rousing applause from the crowd when he walked onto the court at the Wells Fargo Center and delivered the game ball to NBA referee Joey Crawford before the big showdown between the Sixers and the Celtics.

The 11-time All-Star and four-time scoring champ — who was the 1997 NBA Rookie of the Year and helped guide the Sixers to the 2001 NBA Finals — watched his former team defeat the Celtics (82 to 75) from a suite with NBA legend Julius Erving (aka Dr. J), and he spoke to the press and said that he isn’t ready to consider himself a retired NBA player.

“I’m not using that word [retirement] … I wanna play basketball so bad. The way it is right now, I’ve accepted the fact [the NBA] may not happen, but I still want to play basketball. If I can get an opportunity to where it’s gonna make me happy at the end of my career, I’ll take that opportunity. But I just love to play and I want to have another opportunity to play on the professional level.

2 Chainz was arrested at New York City’s LaGuardia Airport early Tuesday (May 22) after officials found what they thought was a pair of “brass knuckles” in his carry-on luggage.

The Atlanta rapper (real name: Tauheed Epps), who also goes by the name “Tity Boi,” was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a weapon in the 4th degree, and spent at least 8 hours behind bars at the Queens County Central booking where he was formally charged.

Chainz, however, says that airport security was mistaken, and what they thought was a pair of brass knuckles was actually a harmless four-finger ring.

The ring says “DOPE” in big letters — and sources tell TMZ, 2 Chainz rocked it no problem at an Atlanta club called the Velvet Room on Sunday.

According to sources close to the rapper, Chainz then flew to NYC without incident — with the ring in his luggage — but when he tried to leave the city today, TSA at LaGuardia Airport mistook the jewelry for a dangerous weapon.

In a phone interview with MTV News, the “Riot” rapper called the arrest incident an assassination of his “character” and his “swag.”

“They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag … It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff.”

He then went on to explain the significance of his confiscated piece of jewelry:

“I do exclusive pieces. My pieces are actual conversation pieces, like literally. When you see my gold, it’s something to conversate about … People weren’t doing four-finger rings and all that. I like to set myself apart … I definitely wasn’t trying to beat nobody up on the plane or nothing.”

2 Chainz says he was on his way to perform at a concert in North Carolina, and he eventually pleaded to a lesser, unspecified charge, but never got his jewelry back.

“Yeah, they took it from me, they took the Louis [Vuitton] case that I actually keep the jewelry in, they took that. I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “Me just trying to explain it was getting too frustrating, me just trying to explain my occupation and then when they finally got to the jail and everybody knew who I was, then they started calling their kids and putting me on the phone with their kids. It was like a weird experience.”

Despite the obviously frustrating situation, 2 Chainz chooses to remain positive, as he is set to release his solo debut “Based on a T.R.U. Story” on August 14th, he’s on tour with Drake, and he’s currently involved with “Respect My Vote,” an initiative that encourages young people to get involved in the voting process.

Of his arrest, 2 Chainz said, “I don’t find that intriguing. You’re supposed to make your mistakes during adolescence and use these times right here to kinda fix some of the things you did in the past, so with me I’m doing Respect My Vote, I’m doing all kind of things to try to have some positive news.”

It’s been a minute since D’Angelo has been on the scene … but it looks like the “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” singer is on the verge of a comeback!

In his first interview (and magazine shoot) in 12 years, D’Angelo talks to the June 2012 issue of GQ Magazine about what he’s been up to in his time off from music, why he left the industry without warning over 10 years ago, his run-ins with the law, his struggles with substance abuse and more.

The interview also features quotes from the R&B crooner’s close friends, including Chris Rock, Questlove, and his baby mama, R&B singer Angie Stone.

D’Angelo on the evil forces in music, and how much power music has:

“There’s forces that are going on that I don’t think a lot of motherf**kers that make music today are aware of. It’s deep. I’ve felt it. I’ve felt other forces puling at me.” He stubs out his cigarette and leans toward me, taking my hand. “This is a very powerful medium that we are involved in,” he says gravely. “I learned at an early age that what we were doing in the choir was just as important as the preacher. It was a ministry in itself. We could stir the pot, you know? The stage is our pulpit, and you can use all of the energy and that music and the lights and the colors and the sound. But you know, you’ve got to be careful.”

D’Angelo on the response to the ‘Untitled’ video:

“One time I got mad when a female threw money at me onstage, and that made me feel like f**ked up, and I threw the money back at her. I was like, ‘I’m not a stripper.’”

Paul Hunter (Director of ‘Untitled’) on the video being misunderstood:

“Most people think the ‘Untitled’ video was about sex, but my direction was completely opposite of that. It was about his grandmother’s cooking. Think of your grandmother’s greens, how it smelled in the kitchen. What did the yams and the fried chicken taste like? That’s what I want you to express.” The video may have looked like foreplay, but it was actually about family, Hunter insists-about intimacy.

Later when I tell D’Angelo this, he says, “It’s so true: We talked about the Holy Ghost and the church before that take. The veil is the nudity and the sexuality. But what they’re really getting is the spirit.”

D’Angelo on battling substance abuse problems during his hiatus:

“I didn’t really think I had a problem like that,” he says, taking a hit off a Newport. “I felt like, you know, all I got to do is clean up and I’ll be fine. Just get in the studio and I’ll be fucking fine.”

D’Angelo on getting arrested for soliciting sex from an undercover female officer in 2006:

“It was just me making a stupid decision, a wrong turn, on the wrong night. I’m not the role-model motherfucker. Look at all the shit that I’ve been in.”

D’Angelo on Madonna:

When Madonna turned 39, she asked him to sing “Happy Birthday” at her party. One press report had her sitting on his lap and French-kissing him. In fact, two sources say that ultimately D rebuffed her advances at another gathering not long after. At that event, the sources say, Madonna walked over and told a woman sitting next to D, “I think you’re in my seat.” The woman got up. Madonna sat down and told him, “I’d like to know what you’re thinking.” To which D replied, “I’m thinking you’re rude.”

Chris Rock on black celebrities and fame:

“Black stardom is rough, dude,” Chris Rock tells me when I reach him to talk about D. “I always say Tom Hanks is an amazing actor and Denzel Washington is a god to his people. If you’re a black ballerina, you represent the race, and you have responsibilities that go beyond your art. How dare you just be excellent?”

Angie Stone — the mother of one of D’Angel’s kids — recalls an incident where she was pushed to the side at an awards show so he could walk the red carpet with Vivica Fox, instead of her:

Stone remembers an event in Manhatten in September 1996 that was billed as Giorgio Armani’s tribute to D’Angelo. Stone-thirteen years older than D-was three months pregnant with their son. They headed to the event together in a limo, but as they neared the venue where D was going to perform, it suddenly pulled over. “He was asked to get into another car, where he would be escorted by Vivica Fox,” Stone says, her voice breaking slightly. The lissome Fox had just appeared with Will Smith in the blockbuster Independence Day. “It was a Hollywood moment. They wanted a trophy girl. I had to walk in behind them to flashing cameras. It started the wheels turning of what was yet to come.”

Questlove — D’Angelo’s former bandleader — on his plans to escape stardom:

“On the last day of the eight-month [Voodoo] tour, Questlove says D’Angelo told him, ‘Yo man, I cannot wait until this fucking tour is over. I’m going to go in the woods, drink some hooch, grow a beard, and get fat.’ Questlove thought he was joking. ‘I was like, ‘You’re a funny guy.’ And then it started to happen. That’s how much he wanted to distance himself.”

Questlove on calling D’Angelo after Amy Winehouse’s death:

“D’s the first person I called,’ Questlove recalls. And I was just honest, like, ‘Look, man, I’m sorry. I know you’re thinking I’m avoiding you like the plague.’ I just said plain and simple, ‘Man, there was a period in which it seemed like you were hell-bent on following the footsteps of our idols, and the one thing you have yet to follow them in was death.’”

Questlove on black artists who are self-sabotaging:

Questlove has a theory about what happens to black genius—what he calls a “crazy psychological kind of stoppage that prevents them from following through. A sort of self-saboteur disorder.”

Raven Symone is very private when it comes to her dating life, but the National Enquirer tried to force the former Disney star out of the closet last week, and now she is speaking out about the rumors, saying that her sexual orientation is nobody’s business but hers and the people she dates.

Rumors surrounding Raven Symone’s sexual orientation were first sparked by “sources” who told the highly credible National Enquirer that the former “Cosby Show” child star was shacking up in her New York City apartment with her lesbian lover, openly gay former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant AzMarie Livingston (pictured above).

According to the National Enquirer’s report:

“Raven has lost almost 30 Pounds, has done a whole image makeover, and now she is the star of ‘Sister Act’ on Broadway,” said a close source.

“She’s at a point now where she doesn’t care what her family thinks, and she’s in love with AzMarie. She’s a lesbian and wants to live that way. … She feels her parents are still trying to treat her like she’s a kid, and she’s told them she’s going to do what she wants.”

And that includes Raven maintaining her own love-nest apartment with her 24-year-old girlfriend, say insiders.

“Raven has hidden being gay for a long time now,” said the source. “But about a year ago, she was introduced by a friend to AzMarie, who is absolutely gorgeous.

“The two began see­ing each other, and a few months ago, Raven finally got the nerve to ask her to move into her lavish Manhattan condo. When her family found out, they blew their stack and it’s created a gay scandal for Raven.

“She told her parents she loves them, but her home – especially her bedroom – is nobody’s business, and she was not going to back down, so they needed to accept it, period.”

After the story hit the Internet, Raven initially ignored it, but after a few days, she finally addressed the rumors — without either confirming or denying them — via Twitter:

I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest. I’m not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I’m dating. and I shall not start now.

My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.

Hannah Montana has left the building!

In yet another effort to separate herself from her former Disney alter ago, actress/singer Miley Cyrus made some very ‘interesting’ comments about sex, which she believes is a “beautiful” and “magical” thing.

During an hour-long interview on Lifetime’s “The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet,” the 19-year-old stressed how important sex is to the existence of the human race, and said that parents and teens should be open with each other about the usually taboo subject.

“The girls that really base how much they’re worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody, that makes me really sad … Because sex is actually really beautiful. It’s the only way we create, and it’s the only way the world keeps going.

“It’s ignorant to not talk to your kids about it or make it seem like it’s not as cool or magical as it actually is. If kids have a TV, they know what sex is. Everyone knows, so educate them.

“Let them know that they wouldn’t be here without it, and it is a beautiful thing, and it is magic, and it is when you connect with somebody and it isn’t how much your worth. Your worth isn’t based on that. Your worth is based on how you feel about yourself.”

After explaining how awesome sex is, Miley “I Can’t Be Tamed” Cyrus — who is dating 22-year-old “Battleship” actor Liam Hemsworth — then gave advice to young girls on how to build up their self-esteem:

“Just be who you are, and that is where your style will come from, and your attitude, and your spirituality, and your sexuality. Because it’s coming from a place of love.”

Lil Kim dropped by Power 105′s “The Breakfast Club” last week where she revealed the root of her beef with Nick Minaj.

“Me and Slim were friends for four years, and we decided we were going to do business together. I was over there at Cash Money, and I was getting ready to be partners with him. When I was over there, we were working a lot. I was in Miami and he would put me in the studio.”

Kim says when a song she did with a then-unknown Nicki Minaj for Baby’s solo album didn’t take off as he predicted, all communication between her and Cash Money was nixed, and Nicki randomly started dissing her on tracks.

“The problem with her is, she was very catty with it. I never had a problem with her. I was always nice with her. Always. She was a very obnoxious person, but I was very nice with her. From the time I saw her in that dressing room, the story she told, I don’t even know what the heck she was talking about. That’s not even how it happened.

“But from the moment that I met her, I was always cool with her. But after that, it almost seems like, when they realized, OK, we need Kim, we want to study her swag, that’s what it kind of felt like because I was around for a long time. They were like, OK, let’s study her swag and I think they wanted to get that record just to stamp that I was OK with what was going on.”

Kim also recalled when she and Nicki were together at a birthday party for Diddy’s oldest son, and Nicki “rolled her eyes” at her.

“After that whole Cash Money situation with the song, we’re at Justin’s birthday party. Perfect time to come up and say, ‘Hey, we did the song together.’ Nothing. And she looked at me and rolled her eyes, and I was like, really? Every single record she made was coming at me … She was coming at me in the Puffy record and in the Jay and Kayne record.”

Tia Mowry was all smiles on VH1′s “Big Morning Buzz Live” earlier today.

During her visit, the actress spoke on her 11-month-old son Cree, her new book “Oh, Baby!,” and her all of a sudden departure from BET’s “The Game” after 5 seasons.

Tia also revealed that despite rumors claiming she was fired from the show … the decision for her to leave was mutual between her and the network.

“It was definitely a mutual decision.  It was time for me to move on to other things like writing this book, and I just finished doing a movie on ABC Family, and then I’m working on the show with my sister ‘Tia & Tamera,’ which premieres June 11th.”

Did 2 Chainz really sign to Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music label???

Just a few days ago…Yeezy sparked rumors that the “Riot” rapper was officially apart of the team, after he tweeted the following:

2 Chainz is charging 100k for a verse now cause he’s G.O.O.D!!!!!!

Shortly afterwards, 2 Chainz spoke with radio personality Bootleg Kev and revealed what Yeezy actually meant by the tweet.

“He just said I’m good, like I’m ill. But we was talking and I think I was jeopardizing my brand sometimes by doing the homeboy special.  So I think he felt like we should just put that out there that we ain’t doing no more of that — I would have done almost anything a couple months ago, and it was all about really reaching out because I still will, I’m still grounded, but it made sense for me to slow down a little bit being that I got an album coming out August 14th. I’m still working on that — I’m just trying to focus on 2 Chainz a little more.”

We wish Yeezy and 2 Chainz stop playing and go ahead and make this deal official. Lately it seems like they’ve become best buds in the world, and Chainz would definitely be a great addition to the G.O.O.D. Music fam!

During an exclusive interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts Wednesday afternoon (May 9), President Barack Obama came out of nowhere and announced that he personally endorses the legalization of same-sex marriage.

President Obama said in an interview that appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday:

“I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors, when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together … When I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.“

The president also discussed how his young daughters Sasha and Malia, and the younger generation as a whole, played a role in forming his opinion:

“It’s interesting, some of this is also generational … You know when I go to college campuses, sometimes I talk to college Republicans who think that I have terrible policies on the economy, on foreign policy, but are very clear that when it comes to same-sex equality or, you know, sexual orientation, that they believe in equality. They are much more comfortable with it.

“Malia and Sasha, they have friends whose parents are same-sex couples. There have been times where Michelle and I have been sitting around the dinner table and we’re talking about their friends and their parents and Malia and Sasha, it wouldn’t dawn on them that somehow their friends’ parents would be treated differently. It doesn’t make sense to them and, frankly, that’s the kind of thing that prompts a change in perspective.”

President Obama also talked about how his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, and his Christian faith were also instrumental in his opinion on the issue:

“This is something that we’ve talked about over the years and she feels the same way, she feels the same way that I do. And that is that, in the end the values that I care most deeply about and she cares most deeply about is how we treat other people.

“And we are both practicing Christians and obviously this position may be considered to put us at odds with the views of others but, you know, when we think about our faith, the thing at root that we think about is, not only Christ sacrificing himself on our behalf, but it’s also the Golden Rule, treat others the way you would want to be treated.

“And I think that’s what we try to impart to our kids and that’s what motivates me as president and I figure the most consistent I can be in being true to those precepts, the better I’ll be as a as a dad and a husband and, hopefully, the better I’ll be as president.”

As ABC writer Rick Klein notes, President Obama’s public support of gay marriage is a “complete turnabout,” as he has opposed marriage between same-sex couples throughout his career in politics.

In 1996, as a state Senate candidate, he indicated support for gay marriage in a questionnaire, but Obama aides later disavowed it and said it did not reflect the candidate’s position.

In 2004, as a candidate for the US Senate, he cited his own religion in framing his views: “I’m a Christian. I do believe that tradition and my religious beliefs say that marriage is something sanctified between a man and a woman.”

He maintained that position through his 2008 presidential campaign, and through his term as president, until today (May 9th 2012).

As president in 2010, Obama told ABC’s Jake Tapper that his feelings about gay marriage were “constantly evolving. I struggle with this.” A year later, the president told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, “I’m still working on it.”

“I probably won’t make news right now, George,” Obama said in October 2011. “But I think that there’s no doubt that as I see friends, families, children of gay couples who are thriving, you know, that has an impact on how I think about these issues.”

During a recent appearance on “Oprah’s Master Class: Special Edition” on OWN, new dad Jay-Z admitted that his newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter will be the “worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

He told Oprah, “I imagine I’ll take things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews and apply that,” before he joked, “…at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

But Hov does have a few concerns about raising a daughter, especially when she becomes a teenager years from now.

“Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad until their [kids are] teenagers,”" he explained. “”[They say], ‘Get away from me, Dad. You’re embarrassing me.’”

While Jay-Z plans on spoiling Baby Blue rotten, her mom Beyonce — who was recently named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman by People Magazine — wants her little girl to value her inner beauty.

The singer told the magazine, “My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic. It’s really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful.”

For some time now, “Basketball Wives” has been the subject of major scrutiny, and various online petitions are calling for its removal from airwaves.

But at least one of the show’s cast members seems to think that if the show were yanked off the air, it would be detrimental to society and will cause “millions of people” to suffer.

Tami Roman — one of the stars of the hit VH1 reality show — is being sued by Creme de la Creme hair products on claims that she went against a contractual agreement, and failed to promote their hair products on the show, instead choosing to promote her own hair line.

The company has asked the Texas judge to put in a court order to stop VH1 from showing any segments where Tami promotes her hair line, instead of theirs.

However, according to court documents obtained by TMZ, Tami claims that the company didn’t pay her on time, thereby breaking any contract previously agreed upon.

Furthermore, Tami said that preventing the show from airing would affect “millions of people,” and the harm Creme de la Creme claims to be suffering “pales in comparison.”

She’s also asking the court to let the show air as is, and wants her name and likeness to be removed from the brand’s products, and she also wants the company to pay her court costs.

Hopefully, the judge will allow VH1 to air to show on regular schedule so that “millions” won’t have to suffer.

Looks like Kanye West still needs some Theraflu.

Over the weekend, the “Way Too Cold” rapper went on a serious Twitter rant bout all of the things he hates, which includes “button up shirts with hoodies,” “hoodies and sport coats,” “sport coats with button up shirts,” “khaki shorts” and much more.

Talkin bout style? … Ye will embarrass you!

As if being embroiled in a beef with Iggy Azalea and T.I. wasn’t enough … Hip-Hop newbie Azealia Banks has sparked yet another rap beef with someone else.

This time around, she’s shooting off at the mouth (via her infamous Twitter page, of course) about Lil Kim, who she says snubbed her after she sent her a song she wanted her to rap on.

Without mentioning any names, Banks tweeted on Saturday:

It really sucks when someone you respect and admire is trying to act brand new when all u did was reach out and try to work… I can’t lie… My little feelings are hurt. Women are so petty… But whatever…Your loss… Not mine.

The very next day, Azealia went in a little deeper and actually mentioned who she was referring to in her previous tweets, and also explained why she was so upset.

According to her tweets, Azealia reached out to Lil Kim and sent her a “reference verse” because she wanted the two of them to do a song together.

But Lil Kim, clearly offended at the fact that Azealia would basically write her verse for her, respectfully declined the offer in a message sent by her assistant.

So in response, Azealia — being the loose cannon that she is — chose to go in on Lil Kim on Twitter, and attacked her credibility, claiming that she “doesn’t write her own raps.”

Okay so true tea is that Lil Kim got mad that I wrote a verse for her on a record I wanted her on.

Everyone knows Lil Kim doesn’t write her own raps and I saw this as a faster more efficient way of getting the track done.

She then had her assistant write me some long ass offensive email about how Lil Kim writes her own raps and doesn’t need anyone’s help.

So….. My question was and is still… IS SHE DOING THE TRACK?

Who cares about what you use to do…. WILL YOU DO THE TRACK??!

All this extra sh-t is stupid. Keep closing your own doors ma. @lilkim

There is no beef. At all.

Shortly after Azealia Banks’ Twitter rant, Lil Kim’s publicist released a statement accusing the rap newcomer of manufacturing a phony beef for publicity:

Earlier today a press release went out making a claim that there was friction between Hip Hop Icon “Lil Kim” and aspiring hip artist azealia banks. The release comes as a surprise to our team, being that my client and azealia have NEVER spoke to one another or met AT ALL.

Kim was actually very flattered azealia’s public admiration for her, which is why it’s so hard to understand how someone who claims to be a true Lil Kim fan could flip the script so easily on someone who was supposedly their idol.

It is also VERY interesting that NO ONE from her team made any attempts to reach out to anyone from our team to voice any concerns or problems that they may have had. I have NEVER heard of anyone having a conflict with someone they have NEVER met with or personally spoke with.

We have no idea what they are referencing and have no desire to discuss the matter any further as there is nothing to talk about. It honestly seems that someone from azealia’s team would rather have her fans buy into manufactured drama instead of buying music.

Kim knows nothing of any beef, and furthermore has had nothing but nice things to say about her. We don’t know what this is and will not address this any further. It seems that this is another sad attempt by someone trying to use my client for publicity. We wish her nothing but the best.

Predictably, that statement led to yet ANOTHER Twitter rant from Azealia Banks:

Bobby Brown has finally broken his silence on Whitney Houston‘s death and his current relationship with his 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.

In an interview with the “Today” show that aired this week — his first since Whitney Houston died on February 11th 2012 — Bobby Brown talked about where he was when he found out his ex wife had died.

The 43-year-old singer told host Matt Lauer that he first learned of Houston’s death from a New Edition bandmate shortly before they were to take the stage for a concert.

Brown says he immediately called his daughter, who was too distraught to speak at the time, and someone else confirmed that Houston had indeed passed.

“I just started crying … You never expect someone close to you to just die. It was really hard,” he told Lauer.

Whitney Houston had a long history of drug abuse, but Bobby says he saw her shortly before her death, and she had a “glow” about her, which led him to believe that she was doing well, and was clean and sober.

But toxicology reports released in the months that followed Whitney Houston’s death say she had cocaine in her system at he time of her passing.

Brown says he was shocked to learn that his ex wife was still struggling with cocaine, as he himself has been clean for over seven years.

He was also quick to deny accusations that he is the one to blame for her death, and that her relationship with him was her downfall.

“It makes me feel terrible, but I know differently. I think if anyone ever knew us and spent time around us instead of time looking through the bubble, they would know how we felt about each other,” Brown said, adding that his 2005 reality show “Being Bobby Brown” helped him and Whitney to both see how their drug abuse negatively impacted their relationship.

Brushing off allegations that he he was the reason Houston started using drugs, Brown said, “I didn’t get high [on narcotics] before I met Whitney. I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs at all … I’m not the reason she’s gone.”

Despite everything, Brown told Lauer that his relationship with Whitney “was great … I had 14 beautiful years with that woman. I can honestly say that — I love that woman — with everything I am. And I believe she loved me the same way.”

Bobby Brown also talked about rumors that he and Whitney’s only child together — their daughter Bobbi Kristina — is a drug abuser.

“She’s fine,” the R&B singer told Matt Lauer in the second half of their interview. “She knows that her mom is gone, and she knows that she has to live.”

“I know what she is actually doing. I think people are making assumptions of what my daughter is and how strong she is,” he said. “I am her father. She talks to me about everything.”

“Everything,” he said, includes her love life, and her rumored romance with Nick Gordon, a close family friend she once called her adopted brother.

“I would expect her to have a boyfriend,” Brown told Lauer. But he shot down rumors that Bobbi Kristina and Gordon were romantically involved with each other, saying they are “definitely not” together in that way.

Though Bobbi Kristina denied to be a part of the interview, the R&B singer’s other children — three from previous relationships — joined him for part of the interview and defended their father’s reputation.

“Everyone has their ups and downs,” his daughter LaPrincia said. “You can’t always be judged for that.”

“The bad boy image is just a part of the performance,” Landon Brown — his oldest son — said.

Bobby Brown also discussed the controversy surrounding his attendance at Whitney’s funeral, where he says he and his children were told by security that they wouldn’t be able to sit together.

Bobby says he felt “disrespected,” and he didn’t want to sit separately from his family, so he simply left early, kissing the casket of his ex-wife on the way out.

“I decided that, you know, it’d be best if I just left. I kissed the casket, and me and my children left the building,” he said.

On whether or not she could write a country song about being rich and famous:
“With no irony? I don’t think so, because country music is for real people. I think it would be very hard to write about my Louboutins. Do you know what I mean? My giant house, it’s not relatable. But my husband came from a small town and hardworking parents like I did, and I don’t think we’ve lost that mind-set. We don’t have a bowling alley in our basement. We don’t have houses on the beach and one in New York and one in L.A. I drive a three-year-old Ford Escape Hybrid. We don’t care about stuff like that.”

On her new album Blown Away:
“There’s a happy-go-lucky feeling to some of it: A nice spring day, put the top down, turn it up, enjoy the world. But there’s a darker feeling too. We kill a couple people. It wouldn’t be a Carrie Underwood album without a revenge song on it. People really like when I do that. I don’t mean to. I don’t hate men that much. But it turns out so well!”

On her songwriting process:
“I’m not a creative person who’s up until 4:00 A.M., writing songs and being weird. I write with people, sharing stories, catching up. I feel I could easily sit down and write a song by myself, but when you get three people, different emotions pour out, and you take them all, round them up, and make them into one coherent thought.”

On what she wishes were different about her singing voice:
“I’m competitive. When I hear somebody else do something I can’t, it drives me nuts. Steven Tyler–that screamy thing he does? I can’t do that. I have too much control over my voice. Or people like Mariah Carey, who can do whistle tones [notes that are at the highest point of the vocal register]. I’ve tried, but I can’t train myself to do it.”

On doing chores she likes vs. chores she’d rather someone else do:
“I love to be at the grocery store. It makes me happy to have a full fridge and a full pantry. I hate sending my laundry out. I don’t like the thought of other people washing my clothes. What am I happy not doing? Lawn care. And I have a business manager who pays my bills. I did all that myself in college, but I only had one credit card back then.”

On her first irresponsible purchase after her career took off:
“My first stupid purchase was an accident. I was in Paris and went into one of those big, name-brand, fancy-schmancy designers, and I picked up a sweatshirt. Maybe I didn’t understand the price tag. I’m really bad with numbers. But when I went to check out, that sucker was $2,000. I’ve worn it twice.”

On being in a relationship with her husband, Mike Fisher, in the public eye:
“A plus is, he knew what to expect. In Canada he was a big celebrity, so he knows what it’s like living under a microscope. And he travels a lot, which is good for both of us. We’re both independent people, so we can’t have somebody around 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The drawback is that we can go weeks without seeing each other.

“But he’s the only guy I’ve never had to worry about. Any guy I’ve ever dated, there would always be that doubt: ‘He didn’t answer his phone. What’s he doing? It’s late.’ I’m not the crazy-girlfriend type, but there was a little voice in the back of my head. I don’t have to worry about Mike. I don’t think twice. He’s going out? I don’t care; it doesn’t bother me. I don’t bat an eye.”

Beyonce was recently named “The World’s Most Beautiful Woman“ by People Magazine, and inside the issue, the new mom addresses those nasty surrogacy rumors that surrounded her first pregnancy.

“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy,” the songstress, 30, told People Magazine. “[I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”

Beyonce wasn’t the only person bothered by the faked pregnancy rumors.

“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months,” Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles said. “As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”

Back in October — when Beyonce was about 6 months pregnant — she was accused of wearing a prostethic baby bump when she sat down for an interview in Australia, and it appeared as though her belly had “folded” in, sparking rumors that a surrogate mother was carrying her baby.

In response to those allegations, Beyonce said, “It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid.”

Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy on January 7th 2012 at Lenox Hospital in New York City, and even then, Beyonce was plagued with rumors saying that she and her husband Jay-Z had upset the hospital with a high list of demands. She called those rumors “so crazy” and “ridiculous.”

Now that those pesky rumors are out of the way, Beyonce can now enjoy motherhood.

“I’m obsessed with Blue,” she admits. “And I mean that in many ways.  I just stare at her all day.  She is my favorite thing in the world and my number one job is to protect her.”

President Barack Obama is a fan of Young Jeezy. During his speech at the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night (Apr 28), the Prez gave a special shout-out to the Snowman:

“In my first term I sang Al Green. In my second term, I’m going with Young Jeezy. I sing that to her sometimes.” He said referring to the first-lady.

Back in 2008, Jeezy showed his support for Obama with his single “My President (is Black)” off his critically acclaimed album “The Recession.”

Carmen Bryan — the mother of rapper Nas‘ 17-year-old daughter Destiny — is not happy about the release of his new song “Daughters.”

On “Daughters,” which is a song about fatherhood, and a shout-out to all the fathers who love their daughters, Nas candidly refers to his own daughter Destiny, addressing an incident from February when the 17-year-old flaunted a collection of condoms on her Twitter page.

On the second verse of the song, Nas raps:

This morning I got a call, nearly split my wig … This social network said “Nas go and get ya kid” … She’s on Twitter, I know she ain’t gon post no pic … Of herself underdressed, no inappropriate sh*t, right

Her mother cried when she answered … Said she don’t know what got inside this child’s mind, she planted … A box of condoms on her dresser then she Instagrammed it

At this point I realized I ain’t the strictest parent … I’m too loose, I’m too cool with her

But it doesn’t stop there. Both verses on the track, which comes from his next album “Life Is Good,” are entirely about his daughter, and the rapper also talks about the time he found out his teenage daughter had a prison pen pal, while also blaming himself for not setting a good example.

Nas raps in the song’s first verse verse:

I saw my daughter send a letter to some boy her age … Who locked up, first I regretted it then caught my rage, like … How could I not protect her from this awful phase

Never tried to hide who I was, she was taught and raised like … A princess, but while I’m on stage I can’t leave her defenseless … Plus she’s seen me switching women, pops was on some pimp shit

She heard stories of her daddy thuggin’ … So if her husband is a gangster can’t be mad, I love him

Following the release of the song, Nas’ baby mama Carmen Bryan — who famously penned a tell-all book about in 2007 detailing her failed relationship with Nas and her affair with Jay-Z — took to Twitter and expressed how angry and “disappointed” she was about it:

Do you agree with Carmen Bryant? Is “Daughters” really a disappointment … or is she just blowing this way out of proportion?

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, surviving TLC members Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins recently sat down with Essence Magazine and paid tribute to their friend, who tragically passed away on April 25th 2002 in a car crash in Honduras.

The ladies of TLC — who are also celebrating their 20th anniversary as a group — also talked about an upcoming VH1 biopic and revealed details about an upcoming tour, and a new album featuring new music set to drop shortly after the release of the movie.

ESSENCE.com: Today marks 10 years since we lost Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in a tragic car accident. What do you remember about that day?

T-BOZ: She died a day before my birthday. I remember everything. I was with security in my Porsche and I said to them, “I feel like I’m going to get in a wreck and I want to go home.” The driver said: “Well, that’s on the other side of town.” I didn’t care; I wanted to go home. I just felt something was going to happen to me, but it wasn’t me — it was Lisa. I was sitting in a rocking chair in my daughter’s room after putting her down when I got a call from Chilli. She was screaming. I had just gotten out the hospital from fighting sickle cell so I had to be careful about getting upset. Everybody was trying to keep me calm.

I remember staying up all night and Patti Labelle and Missy Elliot calling me. Whitney Houston was at Lisa’s funeral. She sat behind me and rubbed my shoulders for two hours, while telling me, “It’s going to be okay, it’s going to be all right.” Right before that, I remember Lisa played a trick where she went missing and nobody knew where she was. This was the one time I wish she was joking and doing one of her stunts, but she wasn’t.

ESSENCE.com: People playfully identified her as the crazy one in the group because of the notable fire in 1994, among other things. What’s the biggest misconception about Left Eye?

T-BOZ: That’s the part that sucked. The fire could’ve even been stopped if they stopped acting like little girls and put the fire out. That really could’ve been settled differently. I just really wish people would’ve known her for the sweet passionate person she really was. She was very creative, too. I remember I was in the hospital for four months and she sent me a clock that she made and the clock read: “Take all the time you need.” She really put thought into things.

CHILLI: People didn’t understand how much of a heart she really had and how passionate and giving she was. She might have come across as someone who wanted to start trouble all the time, but that wasn’t it; she just had a lot to say. Sometimes when you speak what’s on your mind — I’m talking everything on your mind, and people can get a misconception of you. So because she spoke her mind, all of the time, it caused people to misjudge her.

ESSENCE.com: A lot of people believe TLC was feuding when Left Eye passed. What was your relationship like at the time?

CHILLI: It was actually very good; we had started working on the last album. We all had solo deals. I was just like, “We have to do another record” — I was willing to put everything on hold. That was the last time we got to spend quality time together before she passed. The relationship was good; she was acting silly again, playing pranks on people. Her death was very devastating for us, but I can look back and say I was happy about what our relationship was like, at that time.

T-BOZ: No matter what, everyone will go through a disagreement — that’s what makes us all different. So it’s unrealistic to tell anybody that we all agreed with everything that everyone did or said. That doesn’t happen in a real relationship. At the time, she just didn’t agree with what the record company was doing with the project, so she felt strong about standing up about it. It had nothing personal to do with the group members. I didn’t have a problem with that.

ESSENCE.com: Tell us about the VH1 biopic. Are you looking to have someone in Hollywood play you guys, or all new unknown actresses?

T-BOZ: It’s going to have to be new kids; I can’t think of anybody that can play us. It’s not just about looking like me or dressing like me, you have to have the attitude, the dance moves. The writer of the biopic, Kate Lanier, is amazing. She did the movies Set It Off and What’s Love Got to Do With It. Hopefully the movie will be out before the end of the year.

CHILLI: It’s going to be like a movie-of-the-week on VH1. You know how the Jackson Five have the movie The Jackson Five: An American Dream? It would be like that. I love how they still show the Jackson Five movie now; they will show that for the next 40 years. [Laughs] I’m really excited about it; this was a dream of mine. I knew that we would have a movie about us one day. I want to go for someone unknown to play us. I really would prefer to reach out and find someone that resembles us and who really has the acting chops and who can dance.

ESSENCE.com: When you think of TLC’s legacy, what are you most proud of?

T-BOZ: You know how now it’s easy for Black people to make it on pop radio… Back then it was hard. Michael Jackson was probably one of the first Black people to get on MTV and VH1 and then TLC “Waterfalls” was probably the second, it was so hard. I remember getting flowers for making it on MTV and then a special gift for making it on VH1 — that was like a big deal! We had to bust our butts to get on a show. When I say we broke records and I worked for mines, I worked for mine! We had to work for every last single thing.

CHILLI: From the beginning to the middle and we’re not at the end yet but I loved that we never compromised our values when it came to the subject matter and what we talked about in our songs and how we represented ourselves as women. Starting out as young women, we didn’t care that people thought that we were a fad or if people thought we didn’t dress girly enough — we were just like, “Whatever.” We were able to accomplish that with three totally different girls, in a group.

ESSENCE.com: Are we going to get another TLC album or a 20th anniversary tour?

T-BOZ: Yes, we’re going on tour; we are in negotiations now with LA. Reid, so we’ll see what happens. A lot of cool things are coming up.

CHILLI:Another TLC album? Yes, that’s for sure! We’ll have new music right after the movie drops. We have everybody that was there with us from the beginning on board. We’ll definitely have a tour; I just don’t know what we’ll call it yet.

“Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams took to her blog Tuesday (Apr 24) to address the slapping incident and the aftermath that was highlighted on recent airings of the show.

Williams also explains why she filed filed a lawsuit against Nia Crooks (who she referred to as “the assistant”), and clarifies the comments she made towards Crooks on the show about her 2-bedroom apartment (which apparently offended Evelyn so much she tried to attack Jennifer by leaping across the table barefoot)

And the BS continues… I honestly could not stomach to watch last week’s episode. I had lived through the craziness and to relive it was just too much for me. But I would like to clarify a few things.

First up, I never had an issue with “the assistant” up until that day. At one point, we were good friends. We went out together, went to dinner, stayed at each other’s houses and shared plenty of good times and laughs.

There had been some incidents leading up to why I started pulling away from the friendship but I don’t feel the need to blast that information. However, the most important reason why I eased up on the friendship is because she started working for someone who refers to themselves as my “enemy.”

To me being good friends would just cause the situation to be messy so I rather fall back. No love lost and I like I said, I didn’t have any issue with her until she put her hands on me.

Ok now let’s get to the foolery… AGAIN!!!

I just find it so unfortunate someone I once called a friend has no respect for me and felt the need to violent me physically. So of course after you completely disrespect me by putting your hands on me, my mouth is going to get reckless.

I am not happy for the things I said to her but I was caught off guard and left in a vulnerable state. The 2-bedroom apartment comment got taken way out of context. I live in a 2-bedroom apartment so why would I look down on her for that.

My point was don’t act like I lived with you when you live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate. There would be no room for me and all my stuff that barely fits in my 2-bedroom apartment in NJ.

The whole attack against me was pointless. Okay, we aren’t friends no need to fight about it let’s all be mature adults and move on.

People come into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime. I wish it didn’t have to be this way, it makes me sad but that is life.

I did what I felt was right by filing a police report and having my attorneys handling the situation. I am an entrepreneur and a mature adult. Who fights at this age? I was taught to let the authorities handle criminals.

Having graduated with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Pre-Law, I am fully aware of my legal rights and the justice system. If you put your hands on someone, there will be repercussions. End of story…

For the record, I have changed. I am striving to be an independent woman and I am building a future for myself. I have zero time or tolerance for BS. I am not sitting around waiting for a man to take care of me.

Lucid is 100% mine; I built it from the ground up. No licensing deal or I am a paid spokes model. I don’t sit around and knock what my cast mates are trying to do business wise.

Be a leader and not a follower, no one was thinking about the cosmetic industry until way after Lucid.

At the end of the day, I find it all unfortunate that I am the constant topic when it comes to hate and no one can uplift one another.

Fame has never been a weakness of mine but by watching this show I can’t say the same for all the ladies. I just hope everyone can recognize what is really important in this life because Basketball Wives will not always be the HOT thing… Then what???

Pilar Sanders was released from jail Tuesday afternoon (Apr 24) after spending the night behind bars following a physical altercation with her estranged husband Deion Sanders.

The former NFL star claims Pilar and her friend “jumped” him in his bedroom at the home they share together (despite their bitter divorce battle). Deion says the alleged attack — which included a lot of “Kicking, biting and scratching” — took place in front of their kids.

Pilar was charged with “assault family violence” (a misdemeanor), but she denies ever attacking Deion and insists that she is innocent.

On her way out of jail, a clearly emotional Pilar told reporters:

“I am innocent. I understand that I have a very little chance at beating a Hall of Fame, two-sport man that everyone seems to love and adore. I am a full-time mom 100 percent for my children and I have just not gotten a fair shake…”

As a result of the incident, a judge issued an emergency protective order against Pilar, which forbids her from returning to their Texas home for the next 60 days, according to TMZ.

The order also prohibits her from threatening or harassing Deion or any member of the family.

Pilar’s divorce attorney Larry Friedman said that people should wait for both sides of the “story” to come out before they place all the blame on Pilar.

“I can tell you that there are two sides to every story and the truth will come out in court,” he said in a statement.

All of the allegations about Tupac Shakur becoming a virtual Hip-Hop legend can be laid to rest. Dr. Dre has finally responded to rumors that the Tupac hologram used last weekend during his and Snoop Dogg’s Coachella performance set last weekend would be used for an upcoming tour.

In a video recorded backstage this past Sunday night (Apr 22) during the last night of Coachella 2012, the rap music pioneer explained, “It was strictly for Coachella, get it right. I want to get rid of all the rumors out there. This was not done for a tour.”

However, the highly sought after producer did not totally rule out the prospect that the late rapper’s 2D image may be used again. “If a tour happens, we’ll see, but this was done strictly for Coachella 2012, baby, just for you,” he said.

Wrapping up the interview, the “Next Episode” rapper thanked Digital Domain and AV Concepts for making his “dream come to life.” Before taking to the stage, the Doc said “Now I gotta get my ass on stage and rock this motherf**ker!”

Brian McKnight made himself relevant again on Twitter last night … but not necessarily in a good way.

The R&B crooner announced the idea of releasing an explicit R&B mixtape and gave his followers a preview of a new song titled “If You’re Ready to Learn (How Your P**sy Works),” a provocative song about … you guessed it … showing a woman how her p**sy works.

Apparently, Justin Bieber doesn’t want to let sleeping dogs lie.

It’s been almost six months since the last time we heard from the girl who once claimed that Justin fathered her child, but thanks to the singer’s taunts on Twitter, Mariah Yeater’s name is back in the headlines.

The “Baby” singer tweeted, “Dear mariah yeeter…we have never met…so from the heart i just wanted to say…” and then linked his message to a video of Borat repeatedly saying “You will never get this. You will never get this. La la la la la…”

In October of last year, Yeater claimed that she got pregnant after having a sexual encounter with Bieber backstage at one of his concerts in L.A. when she was 19 and he was just 16 years old.

The story spiraled out of control and forced Bieber to take a paternity test to prove he was not the father. Eventually the lawsuit was withdrawn by Yeater’s camp and the two went their separate ways … until now, that is.

Maybe the Biebz is just returning the drama?

Jennifer Aniston’s BFF Chelsea Handler has spoken out about her lack of trust for newly engaged Angelina Jolie.

In her interview with ‘More’ magazine, the late night talk show host was asked who she considers to the opposite of a girl’s girl. “Probably Angelina Jolie,” Handler said in response.

“She doesn’t strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with,” she continued. “You just know as a woman, when you see another woman, if that’s a woman you can trust.”

Handler has also spoken out in the past against Angelina, and has refused to take back calling the actress a “home-wrecker” for hooking up with Brad Pitt while he was still very much married to Jennifer Aniston.

Aside from venting her disdain for the famous mother of six, Handler confirmed that she is indeed madly in love and back together with her off-and-on boyfriend, hotel tycoon André Balazs.

“My boyfriend, André… We just got back together literally yesterday,” she revealed. “We had dated for nine months, a long-distance relationship with all the stresses and traveling and running around. It wasn’t a real life; we weren’t living together.”

Hopefully her new relationship will keep her mind off of Brangelina, who recently announced that they are finally getting married after 7 years together.

Sharon Osbourne was apparently not happy to learn that she is mentioned in Simon Cowell‘s unofficial biography, which states that she quit the UK version of the “X Factor” because of Simon’s sexual relationship with co-judge Dannii Minogue.

On Tuesday’s (Apr 17) episode of “The Talk,” Sharon addressed the mention in Cowell’s biography, and had some choice words for TV titan.

”I’m, like, pissed off because you’ve got a whole career to talk about … Why bring Mrs. O into your messing around?” she quipped.

Though she did admit to not liking Dannii Minogue, Osbourne insisted Cowell’s romantic involvement with her had nothing to do with her decision to quit the “X Factor.”

“He doesn’t really like me,” she said. “So why bring me into your book? I don’t want to be in your book. I don’t want to know about your fiddling with this one and that one.”

Sharon also said that Simon Cowell suffers from “small penis syndrome,” which she believes makes him not only cocky, but power crazy.

Sharon used to sit alongside Simon on the “X Factor” panel, and now works for him as a judge on “America’s Got Talent,” but that didn’t stop her from letting him know how she felt about him on national television. In fact, she actually expects to be fired soon.

She continued, “I work for him. He’ll probably fire me now. Nobody leaves Simon. He fires you.”

DMX opened up about his broken relationship with his mother on a recent episode of VH1′s “Couples Therapy.”

Breaking down into tears, X revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his mother in years, and throughout his life has never been told “I love you” from her.

“I used to always turn to drugs when I was feeling a certain way and now that I’m not doing that, sometimes the pressure builds up, I’ll call [someone] and say, I just wanted to say ‘Mommy.’ I wanted to say that word. Mommy. Not ‘My mother,’ you know, I wanted to say mommy. I just wanted to talk to her. I haven’t talked to her in years and I just wanted to be able to say ‘Hi, mommy. I love you.’ Never once did she [say she loved me.] …. [crying] …. You know what, I think people lose sight of the fact that no matter how strong you are, as a man, no matter how tough you are, we all need to be somebody’s baby.”

Lil Scrappy is lucky to be alive right now … becasuse the Atlanta rapper was hospitalized Tuesday after suffering a severe asthma attack.

“I damn near died … if it weren’t for my driver, mom, and rap artist I would have been dead,” Scrappy told TMZ.

Scrappy says he had been heavily drinking Monday night and when he woke up Tuesday morning could barely breathe or talk. “I felt like I was dying,” he said.

He was immediately rushed to the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where he was treated and later released.

Scrappy now owns a breathing machine and plans on taking it everywhere he goes. “I will never leave anywhere without it again,” he said.

Sheree Whitfield from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” says that she will not be returning to the popular Bravo reality show next season.

Rumors that Whitfield had been fired from the show have been swirling for the past few weeks following Bravo’s Upfronts event in New York City, which she did not attend.

Now Sheree is setting the record straight, exclusively confirming that she is leaving “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” after four seasons on the show.

The now former reality TV star (and former body builder?) released the following statement (via WetPaint.com):

“After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness.

“I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect. I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I’m thrilled to say I’m now a free agent and am already fielding offers.”

Sheree also wanted to make it known that she was NOT fired from the show, and the reason she didn’t attend Bravo’s Upfronts in New York earlier this month was because she was on vacation with her family in Puerto Rico.

Sheree says that she will continue to focus on her clothing line, “She by Sheree,” and she’s also working on a new fitness venture that she believes will inspire people to live healthier lives.

Sounds like Sheree Whitfield is definitely trying to save face with this whole “I have decided to leave” and “I was on vacation when the rest of the cast was promoting the show” and “now I’m just going to do me” number. What do you think?

According to the popular tabloid, a source told them that Kanye West thinks that reality star Kim Kardashian is his “Beyonce” … but Kanye says he never said such a thing.

The source was quoted as saying in the cover story, “It’s not a PR stunt. They’re perfect for each other. He thinks she’s his Beyonce!”

Well, after speaking to “Watch the Throne” rapper the magazine has now back tracked on their original “Kanye West Thinks Kim Kardashian Is His Beyonce” story.

Breaking his vow of silence towards the media, West told the weekly tabloid, “…of course there are a lot of media inaccuracies surrounding this past couple of weeks, especially the ‘She’s my Beyonce’ quote. I would never compare anyone to my friend’s wife.”

He continued, “Come on now, that doesn’t even sound like me. If I don’t say something in a rap or on Twitter, it’s not true.”

Not one to let the injustice slide by, Gossip Cop poked fun at US Weekly’s mishap:

The buzzworthy quote was picked up by a number of outlets, and even used to parody the couple’s new romance on “Saturday Night Live.”

Then today, the tabloid posted an “exclusive” with the headline, “Kanye West: I Never Said Kim Kardashian Was ‘My Beyonce.’”

Umm… what?

But really, instead of having back-to-back “exclusives” on Kardashian and West, as Us presents it, the tabloid was just wrong last week, and is now being forced to correct its mistake.

We know the weather’s getting warmer, but it’s still too soon for these flip flops.

First Lady Michelle Obama has responded to Beyonce‘s kind open letter of admiration, in which she called Mrs. O a “caring mother” and a “loving wife.”

In her hand written note, the singing icon wrote that she’s delighted that her 3-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter can “grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

On Friday, the First Lady took to social networking site Twitter and tweeted, “Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to.” She signed off “-mo” which is used by her campaign to note that the tweet personally came from Mrs. O.

Beyonce has been friends with The First Family for some time now.

In 2009 at the now historical inauguration for President Obama, the “4” singer performed Etta James’s classic “At Last,” and in 2010 she performed at the White House State Dinner when the Obamas hosted Mexico president Felipe Calderon.

Lady Gaga is no stranger to controversy and she recently came under fire after she suggested that “pop singers don’t eat” in a tweet to her 22 million plus followers.

After coming out of the gym last week, she tweeted:

Within seconds, criticism from Gaga’s followers started rolling in, accusing her of encouraging eating disorders.

One concerned fan tweeted, “@ladygaga I’m stunned that you would promote such an unhealthy attitude towards food to your fans when you claim to be so righteous.,” while another fan tweeted, “Seriously what is Lady Gaga playing at? In her last tweet she put #PopSingersDontEat. Great role model she is…”

Mother Monster has yet to respond to her 22.6 million followers on the social networking site, and the tweet remains on her account as of the day this story was published.

Morgan Freeman wants you to know that he is NOT in a relationship with his step-granddaughter E’Dena Hines.

The actor released a statement to TMZ yesterday denying ongoing rumors claiming the two have been dating for roughly 10 years and were planning to get married in the near future.

“The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers. What is even more alarming is that these fabrications are now being picked up by the legitimate press as well.”

E’Dena — who is the granddaughter of Morgan’s ex wife and is in no way related by blood to the legendary actor — also issued a statement on the matter.

“These stories about me and my grandfather are not only untrue, they are also hurtful to me and my family.”

Morgan says for years, he remained silent up until this point because he didn’t want to “dignify these stories by commenting.” But he says he felt the need to speak out after the false stories were picked up by various “mainstream outlets.”

So there you have it. Morgan Freeman and his step-granddaughter are NOT dating and are NOT getting married. So stop spreading that disgusting rumor! (We’re talking about YOU, National Enquirer)

Bruce Jenner isn’t all that excited about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hooking up.

When asked about the relationship while speaking at Northeastern University Wednesday night, Bruce told the audience:

“I’m not that excited, but we’ll see. Kimberly and I have had a conversation about them and their potential relationship.”

However Bruce doesn’t have any harsh feelings towards Kanye personally.

Sources close to the family say he’s more concerned about Kim rushing into things, and he wants her to be careful before running into another relationship, whether it be Kanye or anyone else for that matter; especially considering the fact that she’s still “technically” married.

But in any event … Bruce, do yourself a favor and stop worrying about Kim’s roller-coaster love life. Girls will be girls, and in this case … let Kim be Kim.

It’s been almost three years since President Barack Obama called Kanye West a “jackass” after West’s infamous 2009 VMAs incident when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s award acceptance speech. And it sounds like the president still holds the same opinion about the Chicago rapper.

In an interview with the May issue of The Atlantic, the president says he prefers Jay-Z over Kanye West, and he still thinks Kanye is a jackass.

A talented jackass, he noted, but still a jackass no less.

“I thought that was really inappropriate. You know it was like she’s getting an award — why are you butting in?” he said. “The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person. She’s getting her award. What’s he doing up there? He’s a jackass.”

The singer — currently vacationing in St. Barts with her hubby of 4 years Jay-Z — recently penned an open letter to the First Lady, and posted a copy of the letter to her official website.

In the letter, Bey commends Michelle for being a great mother and wife who always remains humble, while also thanking her for being a strong African American woman and role model to Baby Blue Ivy, her newborn daughter with Jay-Z.

The View’s Sherri Shepherd was shockingly voted off of “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night’s (Apr 10) elimination episode, and she apparently took it real hard.

In fact, Sherri was so devastated that according to Us Weekly, she skipped her post-show interviews.

A source inside the DWTS studio told the weekly publication, “She was crying pretty hard post show and everyone was hugging her. It’s highly unusual for the eliminated celeb to skip press, especially someone who seemed to have a good attitude like Sherri.”

Later on that night in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Shepherd appeared have lifted her spirits. She said, “It was a very big surprise to be eliminated. Carrie Ann Inaba said she’s never seen me so expressionless, and I’m an actress, so that’s like telling Gladys Knight she can’t sing.”

“As an actress, Carrie Ann’s going to get me blacklisted,” Sherri jokingly explained. Shepherd also told Kimmel how she appreciates the support she received from her View co-hosts.

Barbara [Walters] voted 12 times the first week, Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] tweeted [about it], Joy [Behar] was rooting for me — I know all my ladies were there for me every step of the way,” she told Kimmel.

As Sherri made her first appearance on “The View” since her elimination this morning, the highly supportive audience began to chant “Sherri! Sherri! Sherri!” as the host/actress wiped away tears.

Shepherd was so overwhelmed, and explained her tears were “not a temper tantrum, but really tears of joy.”

“I wanted to do this for so long, and to be taken off the ride so soon, it really was devastating,” she said.

In response, her co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “You know, we are not happy … she was robbed.

Sherri went on to share what the DWTS experience has done for her. “I learned I have stage fright, and have to get past it. And I was scared every week, and I learned to dance scared,” she said.

When joining The View’s panel later, professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy said of his former dance partner, “Every moment was incredible for me. She’s a huge star and I’m just a dancer so I really appreciate how kind she was to me. And she’s exactly how she seems – that’s how she is in real life.”

Actress Vanessa Williams has bravely opened up about the sexual abuse she suffered as a 10-year-old girl.

In an eye opening interview with People Magazine to promote her new book “You Have No Idea,” the 49-year-old “Desperate Housewives” star disclosed the personal details of what happened to her in the early stages of her life at the hands of a much older teenage girl girl.

Vanessa says that the incident happened when she was staying with family friends while on a trip to California when their 18-year-old daughter Susan walked into her room and “told me to lie down on the rug.”

“I was confused,” Williams told People. “Are we going to play a game? As I tried to make sense of it, Susan pulled down the bloomers of my cotton baby-doll pajamas.”

“‘What are you doing?’ I asked. ‘Don’t worry – it’ll feel good. I lay there paralyzed. What was I going to do? I didn’t speak. She kept at [the molestation] for I don’t know how long. She slid my bloomers back up and whispered: ‘Don’t tell anyone.’”

Despite the terrible ordeal, Vanessa said that she didn’t allow the experience to take over her life in a negative way.

“It didn’t paralyze me, and I don’t dwell,” she explained. But in her younger years it did cause her to pull away and act out towards her parents.

Williams says she kept her molestation a secret for years, and had no idea how to comprehend what happened to her that night in California.

“I didn’t really understand until college,” Williams said, recalling the moment she finally realized what had actually happened to her. “I was with my boyfriend and it hit me and I blurted out: ‘Oh my god — I was molested.’”

Vanessa says her startling revelation led her to “become a bit more rebellious.” The beauty also admits that she smoked weed in high school, and had an abortion her senior year.

After she finally started to understand what happened to her, she started doing beauty pageants, and went on to become the first African American woman to win the Miss America pageant in 1983.

But Williams says she felt numb: “I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t excited. I wasn’t there. I just smiled and waved.”

In her new book, Vanessa also revisits the nude photo scandal that took away her Miss America crown in 1984, just one year after she won.

Though she says she and her family were “stunned” at the time, she now embraces the scandal, in addition to being sexually abused at a young age, as part of her life story.

“When my kids have asked about Miss America, those photos, or any other part of my life, I told them what I always tell them — the truth.” she writes. “After all, it was part of my journey that led me to them and to where I am today.”

It has almost been almost an entire decade since Madonna and Britney Spears famously locked lips onstage at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards … and it seems as though neither of the two Pop divas has forgotten about one of the most talked about kisses of the 21st century.

The kiss was brought up last week (Wed. Apr 4) after Britney Spears complimented Madonna on her newly released album “MDNA.”

“Love the new album – every single song is incredible. Congrats girl!” Spears tweeted to Madonna, who replied: “Please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!”

Then the two started “flirting” back and forth with each other:

Eve is on the verge of making a comeback of sorts with her new album “Lip Lock” and a buzz single from the project set to drop this month.

The female rapper — whose last album was released almost 10 years ago — recently sat down with The Women of Hip-Hop for an exclusive interview where she discsusses her new project, as well as her thoughts on new femcees Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea, the Nicki Minaj vs. Lil Kim Beef, her dream collaboration and more.

On her new music: “I’m gonna throw out a viral single at the end of this month before the official single. I’m probably gonna throw out a couple records before the radio single. My whole goal for this record, since it’s been so long, I wanted to make sure that my core audience didn’t feel like Eve completely forgot about us and went to another side. I feel like this record is well rounded. It has enough of the hard street stuff, it has some radio stuff, but it also has some stuff that people can listen to when they’re feeling down.”

On new female rappers: “I like Azealia Banks. I think her style is dope. If you listen to her lyrics, she knows how to wordplay and I think that’s cute. I’m not really into the Iggy Azalea chick. I can’t really fuck with her music, but her look is crazy. I just can’t believe it.”

On her dream collaboration: “Lauryn Hill has always been my one dream collaboration. She to me is so dope lyrically. Unfortunately, she’s just in a place right now mentally, but that would be a dream come true.”

On which five female MCs she would put on a record: “I would definitely have to get Missy [Elliott]. I would definitely have to do Kim ’cause I never got to do a record with Kim. Azealia Banks, I like her. A lot of people want me to hate on Nicki and say crazy things about her. I ain’t got nothing to say about her. Until somebody names me by name, then I don’t feel like nobody [is talking] about me. I wouldn’t have a problem putting her on a record.”

On the Lil’ Kim vs. Nicki Minaj feud: “It’s not about publicity. It’s about wanting that respect. I think maybe that’s where Kim is coming from, like, you’re doing your thing right now and no one can take that away from you, Nicki—we all see it—but at the end of the day, if it wasn’t for Kim, she wouldn’t be here and that shit is real.”

Less than a day after being spotted out with her new boo Kanye West, Kim Kardashian appeared on the “Today” show this morning.

Smiling from ear to ear, Kim happily answered questions about her new romance with Yeezy. (Well, sort of.)

“Kanye and I have been friends for years and you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me,” she told host Ann Curry.

Kim also admitted to loving Ye’s new song “Theraflu,” in which the rapper reveals he fell in love with her around the time she got with Kris Humphries.

When Kris Humphries was brought up during the conversation, Kim made it clear she no longer wants to talk about him. “I have closed that chapter. I’m ready to move on,” she said.
