Before helping his team defeat the Indiana Pacers and end their playoff run Thursday night (May 24) in Game 6 … Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat already had people talking, and it had nothing to do with his skills on the court.

Dressed in a white button-up shirt and a pair of hot pink pants (and matching pink/white sneakers), the NBA player made one hell of a fashion statement as he made his way into the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. (See below)

Rick Kamla from NBA TV called Wade’s choice of wardrobe a “flagrant fashion foul,” but the Heat guard embraced the criticism in the post-game interview.

“I know they’re killing me in the studio over my pants,” he said. “And they’re just mad they can’t pull it off.”

Accroding to ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, even Dwyane’s own teammate LeBron James made fun of him before the game.

LeBron James: “Damn, for real, those are close-out pants? And the finger sleeve?”

Dwyane Wade: “You gotta coordinate.”

James: “You look like Eddie Murphy in the ’80s”

Wade: “Eddie Murphy wishes he looked like me.”

After he changed into his basketball gear, Dwyane Wade went on to score 41 points and 10 rebounds, assisting his teammates in their 105 to 93 victory over the Pacers. Not too bad for a guy who wears hot pink pants.

Former NBA MVP Allen Iverson was in the house Wednesday night (May 23) for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics.

Iverson received a standing ovation and a rousing applause from the crowd when he walked onto the court at the Wells Fargo Center and delivered the game ball to NBA referee Joey Crawford before the big showdown between the Sixers and the Celtics.

The 11-time All-Star and four-time scoring champ — who was the 1997 NBA Rookie of the Year and helped guide the Sixers to the 2001 NBA Finals — watched his former team defeat the Celtics (82 to 75) from a suite with NBA legend Julius Erving (aka Dr. J), and he spoke to the press and said that he isn’t ready to consider himself a retired NBA player.

“I’m not using that word [retirement] … I wanna play basketball so bad. The way it is right now, I’ve accepted the fact [the NBA] may not happen, but I still want to play basketball. If I can get an opportunity to where it’s gonna make me happy at the end of my career, I’ll take that opportunity. But I just love to play and I want to have another opportunity to play on the professional level.

T.I. and his 16-year-old daughter Zonnique Pullins (one-third of the “OMG Girlz”) sat courtside at the Philips Arena in Atlanta last Tuesday night (May 1) as the home team — the Hawks — took on the Boston Celtics during Game Two of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals of the 2012 NBA Playoffs.

R&B singer/songwriter/producer The Dream was also in attendance at the basketball game, which resulted in the Celtics defeating the Hawks, 87-80.

Professional boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Miguel Cotto stare each other down during the official weigh in for their big boxing match, which is scheduled to go down Saturday night (May 5) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Mayweather — one of the biggest stars in the sport of boxing — has a spotless record of 42-0. That’s 42 wins … and ZERO losses.

Cotto’s record, however, isn’t so spotless … but out of 39 total fights, he’s only had 2 losses (his record is 37-2, 30 knockouts), which is still pretty decent, but the odds are 6-1 in favor of Floyd Mayweather.

But Miguel Cotto isn’t too worried about the odds. “I don’t need anyone else giving me a chance,” Cotto said. “If I can trust in myself, I don’t need anyone else believing in me.”

“Nobody is invincible in life. I know that because I pass through this point in my life,” Cotto said. “I’m ready for anything Floyd brings me. The question is, is Floyd ready for anything Miguel can bring to him?”

Even if the odds are in favor of Floyd Mayweather — who weighs in at 147 pounds –the 154-pound Miguel Cotto could definitely challenge the undefeated boxer.

“The only thing I can say is I’m ready, and I am prepared for anything that happens in the ring,” Cotto said. “I’m going to work every second in there.”

This will be Mayweather’s last fight before he faces an 87-day jail sentence on charges stemming from an assault on his ex girlfriend/baby mama.

Despite their busy schedules, Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez found some time to spend together. The couple were spotted sitting courtside at the Lakers vs. Spurs game Tuesday night (Apr 17) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Gomez — who is a Texas native — was cheering on the San Antonio Spurs and tweeted, “LET’S GO SPURS!!! LET’S GO!!” in the middle of the game.

Throughout the game, Justin was seen kissing all over Selena, and eventually, both Pop stars leaned in for a kiss at the urging of the cheering crowd.

The couple’s kiss was caught on the Staples Center’s world-famous “Kiss Cam,” and the crowd went nuts, according to eye witnesses.

Apparently caught off guard, Selena looked embarrassed and hid her face after she noticed she and Justin were being filmed on the big screen.

After coming up for air, the couple took a few photos with a young fan who was seated next to them, and gave her a big hug.

As for the game, Selena’s team beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 112 to 91.

Baby Blue Ivy isn’t old enough to go to basketball games with her superstar parents just yet … but that didn’t stop Beyonce and Jay-Z from showing off their parental side at a basketball game Monday night (Apr 16).

The couple brought along their 7-year-old nephew Daniel “Julez” Smith (Solange’s son) with them Monday night (Apr 16) to watch the New Jersey Nets take on the Miami Heat at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. (FYI: Julez’s dad Daniel Smith Sr. is sitting to the left of Beyonce.)

Singers Christina Aguilera and Christina Milian were spotted laughing it up courtside Thursday night (Mar 29) as they watched the LA Lakers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Christina Aguilera also had a giggle or two with her boyfriend of more than a year and a half Matthew Rutler, who was also spotted at the game, which ended with the Thunder defeating the Lakers, 102 to 93.

With rumors swirling around that their marriage is on the rocks, Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were spotted enjoying each other’s company as they hung out with their two young kids Willow and Jaden Smith at the Sixers-Heat game in Philadelphia Friday (Mar 16).

The couple — who have been married since 1997 — reportedly arrived around halftime, and were met with a round of applause.

Attendees of the game say they even saw the pair kissing courtside, and at one point, Will and Jada showed up on the Jumbotron’s famous kiss cam.

“They were having a good time,” a source told People. “Will and Jada were introduced to the crowd to a loud cheer. She affectionately put her head on his shoulder and he affectionately touched her as they smiled.”

Lil Wayne and his girlfriend/fiancee/whatever Dhea kicked it courtside at the Lakers vs. Heat basketball game over the weekend in Los Angeles, and we couldn’t help but notice that huge rock sitting on Dhea’s ring finger!

As we previously reported, the rapper surprised Dhea with a “FAT” ring during their Valentine’s Day dinner last month.

He hid the ring inside an expensive dessert treat, and when Dhea found the ring inside, Wayne jumped up and yelled loudly to the restaurant, “SHE SAID YES!!!”

Kobe Bryant is about to be the luckiest man in the world. The L.A. Lakers star and his estranged wife Vanessa Bryant are working on getting back together!

The former couple were spotted kissing yesterday — Valentine’s Day — outside the locker room at the Lakers-Hawks game.

According to TMZ, even though Kobe and Vanessa have submitted all necessary documents for their divorce, it doesn’t become final until mid-June and have plenty of time to withdraw the papers.

So we all know that what that means….this could be Kobe’s only chance of ever getting those three nicely decked-out mansions back.

Rihanna didn’t attend this year’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles Wednesday night (Jan 11) in favor of a Clippers Game, which was held literally across the street!

Rihanna was nominated for a couple of PCAs, and actually won in the category for “Favorite R&B Artist,” but she was obviously not in the building to accept her award since she was right across the street at the Staples Center watching the game, which resulted in the L.A. Clippers winning over the Miami Heat, 95 to 89.

The ring, which we hear is valued at around $300,000, is designed in a style that many jewelers claim that have not seen since Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton’s days.

LeBron, whose salary will reportedly top $16 million this season, popped the question to Savannah, his high school sweetheart and the mother of his children, during a private celebratory dinner in South Beach Miami over the weekend.

Two nurses at New York City’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital told the celebrity gossip site that an alert was put out last night to the hospital’s nurses and security that a “celebrity VIP” would be arriving today to give birth.

There is no confirmation that the patient is Beyonce, but that’s the buzz throughout the hospital. And it could very well be true. The superstar singer confirmed that she would be 9-months pregnant now during a scene in her “Live at Roseland: Elements of 4″ DVD.

The nurses also dished that half the floor of the hospital’s luxury “Labor And Delivery Suite” has been booked for the mystery VIP. In fact, it’s the same suite that Alicia Keys delivered her son Egypt in last year.

Jay-Z looked to be having a good time kicking it courtside Friday night (Apr 8) at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ as he watched his team (the New Jersey Nets) take on the New York Knicks.

The NBA launched an investigation earlier this month after the “Empire State of Mind” rapper, who is a minority owner of the Nets, was captured on camera congratulating the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team in their locker room after they won against UNC in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

It is forbidden for the owner of a professional team to interact with possible NBA prospects, so the NBA fined the Nets $50,000. Pocket change for someone like Jay-Z, right?

All-Star weekend always brings out lots of celebrities, and Saturday night’s game was no exception.

Lots of celebs, including R&B singer/songwriter Keri Hilson (who sang the national anthem), Diddy, Shaquille O’Neal (and his girlfriend Hoopz), Terrell Owens, Raven Symone, John Legend (and girlfriend Christine Teigen), and others, were spotted in the crowd during the NBA All-Star Saturday Night Game (presented by State Farm) held Saturday (Feb 19) in L.A.’s Staples Center.

Lots of celebrities participated Friday night (Feb 18) in the annual Celebrity All-Star Game. The all-star line-up included Trey Songz, Rob Kardashian, Romeo Miller, Rick Fox and others repping for the West; and Nick Cannon, Common, Scottie Pippen and more representing for the East Coast.

In the end, the East came out victorious (54-49) with Justin Bieber (from the West) scoring the coveted MVP trophy (as voted by the fans). Also spotted at the 2011 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game were Magic Johnson, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom.

Christina Aguilera performed the “Star Spangled Banner” during tonight’s Super Bowl. In one of the biggest performances of her career, the singer forgot some of the words midway through the song. Instead of “O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming,” Aguilera sang “what so prodly we watched at the twilight’s last [unintelligable lyric].”

Fortunately for the Pop star got the crowd back on her side when she nailed the “rocket’s red glare” line though, however a source tells our friends over at Pop Eater that the singer is “devastated” that she screwed up the National Anthem.

“This was the biggest performance of her career and she blew it,” the source told Rob Shuter of PopEater.com. “To mess up the lyrics was a disaster.”

“Glee” actress Lea Michele performed her very own rendition of “America the Beautiful” tonight (Sun. Feb 6) during the pre-game show for Super Bowl XLV. Immediately after her performance the 24-year-old TV star, who is nominated for a Grammy Award alongside her “Glee” cast-members, tweeted the following:

“OMG That was an out of body experience! So Amazing! What an honor and joy!!!”

After attending the NYC premiere for his new movie “Never Say Never,” teen Pop sensation Justin Bieber hit up Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks basketball game. Joined by professional Hockey player Henrik Lundqvist and his grandpa, Bieber watched the Knicks get defeated by the Mavericks, 113 to 97.

JB also shook hands with film director Spike Lee (who also attended his “Never Say Never” premiere), and he and Henrik posed for a quick picture with actor/comedian Chris Rock and his kids. But not everyone was happy to see the Biebs at the game.

According to sources, as the camera panned to the “Baby” singer during a time-out, the crowd boo’d him! One commenter said: “Why would you boo the kid?” to which his colleague replied “The boos are from the guys, the cheers are from the girls.”

Diddy and Rick Ross kicked it court-side in Miami Monday night (Jan 31) as they watched the Heat take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The weekend before, Diddy reportedly threw out $1 million dollars to fans at Rick Ross’ birthday party (also attended by Pharrell Williams and Busta Rhymes) at a Miami nightclub. Can you say ballin?

Michael Jackson‘s oldest son Prince Michael was pictured with his uncle, Jackie Jackson, Tuesday night (Jan 25) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The nephew/uncle pair were sitting courtside as they watched the Lakers take on the Utah Jazz, and even took a little time out to meet reality star (and basketball wife) Khloe Kardashian. Jackie was also seen chatting it up with actor/comedian turned late night talk show host George Lopez, who is also a big Lakers fans and is spotted at just about every home game.

In what seems like an extremely odd occurrence, Kim Kardashian and her “bro-in-law” Scott Disick kicked it courtside Wednesday night (Jan 19) in New Jersey as they watched the home team (including Kim’s new boyfriend Kris Humphries) take on the Utah Jazz (the Nets beat the Jazz 103 to 95). Scott is dating Kim’s sister Kourtney and is also the father of Kim’s little 1-year-old nephew Mason. Looks like Kimmy’s playing nice!

Also spotted at the game was Nets part-owner, rapper Jay-Z, who attended the game with a few friends.

Sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian were in attendance at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. New Jersey Nets basketball game in L.A. Friday night (Jan 14).

Khloe was there to support husband Lamar Odom who is a forward for the Lakers. She kept a straight face during the game while Kim looked more chill and flashed a smile or two. What was wrong, Khloe?

Staples Center was full of celebrities during last night’s basketball game! As the Los Angeles Lakers took on New York Knicks Sunday night (Jan 9), lots of celebs, including Ciara, Spike Lee, Denzel Washington, Dr. Dre, George Lopez, Adam Sandler and others, were seated in their VIP courtside seats taking all of the bball action in.

Other folks spotted at the game were Khloe and Rob Kardashian (obviously rooting for Khloe’s husband, LA Laker Lamar Odom), Spike Lee (who is a big time Knicks fan), Will.i.am and Jack Nicholson.
