The Detroit Pistons’ roster was revised with a new player, Allen Iverson, a few days ago and they greeted him with a warm welcome. Despite with a new number, Iverson’s first game with Detroit counted as a loss. The New Jersey Nets took the game by 7 (103-96). Iverson first accumulated stats on the Pistons were 24 points and 6 assists. Iverson stated:
“It was a good feeling for me,” Iverson said. “I haven’t been able to play for a while so it was good to get back on the basketball court. I’ll try to get a little bit of my rust off.”
It turned out to be a career-high game of 38 points for opposing for Nets’ guard Devin Harris.

Diddy, 50 Cent & Common were visitors of TRL Studios yesterday. 50 Cent was promoting his new album and film, Before I Self Destruct; the album will be in stores December 16th. Common was also there on a promo tour for his upcoming album, Universal Mind Control, due in stores December 9th. Denver Nuggets All-Star guard Allen Iverson has been traded to the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons released players Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess AND Cheikh Samb in exchange for Iverson. Jon Dumars, Pistons President Basketball Operations, is excited to welcome A.I. to Detroit.
