The Phoenix Suns played their final game (1-4) of the series in the playoff last night losing to the San Antonio Spurs by 5 (87-92). Tony Parker had a total 31 points, 8 assists, and 3 rebounds. Tim Duncan who never doubted they’ll defeat the Suns boldly said after the game:
“Just happy we’re done with them,” he said. Really, was there ever any doubt?”

The L.A. Lakers climbed up the playoff ladder like it was as easy as taking candy from a baby. Kobe Bryant dominated last night’s game against the Denver Nuggets with a total of 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, ultimately winning straight games against Denver (4-0). Last night’s final score resulted at (107-101). Pau Gasol had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists last night. Lakers’ teammate Luke Walton tells how happy he is to have K.B. on his team:
“He is unbelievable,” Luke Walton said of Bryant, his teammates and one of the MVP favorites. “It’s always so comforting knowing you have the best closer in basketball. They were making huge plays down the stretch, but Kobe came right back to do whatever it took: huge plays, steals or an incredible shots like that fadeaway over Kenyon Martin from the top of the key. He wanted it badly tonight and we followed his lead.”

It looks like the Atlanta Hawks stepped their game up literally. The series are now tied against the Boston Celtics (2-2). The won last night’s game by 5 (97-92). Josh Smith had 28 points, 7 blocks, and 6 rebounds. Joe Johnson scored a high 35 points in Game 4, scoring the last 20 in the fourth quarter. Johnson talks about the victory after the game:
“We took care of our home court,” Johnson said. “Now we’ve got to go up to Boston and somehow steal one.”

Orlando Magic take the victory of the series with a total of (4-1) wins to losses against the Toronto Raptors. The final score of game 5 was (102-92).  Dwight Howard leads Orlando to the Eastern Conference for the first time in 12 years. Howard scored a total of 21 points, 21 rebounds, and 2 assists. Opponent Chris Bosh never underestimated Howard and even congratulated him with his recent success in the series. Bosh states:
“He’s a phenom; he’s the best center in the league,” said Raptors star Chris Bosh, who was guarded by Howard all game. “He’s probably the strongest guy in the league, and he knows how to use his body. It doesn’t surprise me at all. I’ve seen him play this whole series, I’ve seen him play this season.”

Top performer of the Suns, Raja Bell, had 27 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds. Shaquille O’ Neal had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assists. Steve Nash, who had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, said at the end of the game:
“A lot of woulda coulda shouldas,” Steve Nash continued. “But we’re still alive, and we played well in San Antonio and haven’t got a win yet. So we want to go down there with a very optimistic attitude.”
