Mariah Carey is over in Europe promoting her Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel album right now. And yesterday she (with her husband Nick Cannon trailing not too far behind) was spotted outside the Hotel George V in Paris, France yesterday (Tues Nov 17) posing for the paparazzi and signing autographs as she made her way to her vehicle to make her promo rounds.
The R&B singer is reported to have pissed some people off over the past few days too. Phillip Schofield, host of British morning show “This Morning” was heated this morning after Mariah arrived an hour late for her interview with the show. She was reportedly scheduled to arrive at 5 AM for the pre-recorded interview and ended up getting there at 6 because she wanted to sleep in for an extra hour. Schofield wasn’t pleased and let everybody know via his Twitter:
In his first message (5:15 AM) he said: “Sitting here twiddling our thumbs waiting for Mariah Carey.. la la la laaa.”
His next message (5:45 AM) he wrote: ““Her people have arrived, although there was still no sign of Miriah Carey. Think I will give her till 2o’clock”.
Then when she got there at 6, the British TV personality said Mariah didn’t like what she had on so she made them wait a little longer so she could change her outfit: “She’s changing her mind about what she’s wearing!!!!”
It’s a good thing the interview wasn’t live! But everything’s good though because Mariah apologized for being late. And Phillip compared her entourage to a small country (LOL).
Schofield tweeted: “She was subtly apologetic for being an hour late and yes, an entourage the size of Denmark.”

And speaking of arriving late, she also reportedly arrived late to her performance for the X Factor because she didn’t like the car Simon Cowell sent.

Beyonce and Jay-Z were spotted arriving at their hotel after partying all night at Rihanna’s Nokia gig afterparty at Mahiki nightclub in London early Tuesday morning (Nov 17).
Rumor has it that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting but Bey’s team (read: her family) shot those rumors down with the quickness. But we think it would be good for the Carters to go on ahead and start making babies now. All the cool kids are doing it!
Check out a few pictures of the Carters below…

Following her big Nokia-sponsored live concert, Rihanna and her people, including Beyonce, Jay-Z and her assistant/best friend Melissa Ford, partied the night away Monday (Nov 16) at Mahiki nightclub, Mayfair in London. Actor Idris Elba was also spotted enjoying himself at the nightclub.

The paparazzi caught a glimpse of rapper Jay-Z as he exited Brixton Academy in London following Rihanna’s Nokia-sponsored concert event. He joined the pop singer during her 45-minute set and performed their hit song, “Run This Town.”
Rapper Young Jeezy, who also performed on stage with Rihanna, and singer Mr. Hudson were also seen leaving the venue after the show.

After weeks and weeks of practice, an organized group of flash mobbers known as “Flash Mob America” showcased their Janet Jackson flash mob in the streets of Los Angeles Saturday (Nov 14). In the middle of The Grove, LA’s premiere retail and entertainment destination, the group performed a select few of Jackson’s hits including “If,” “Miss You Much” and “Nasty” while Janet herself watched the spectacle from the rafters.
In her interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts, Janet said she doesn’t want Dr. Conrad Murray, the man most likely responsible for her brother’s death, to continue practicing medicine. Why? Because she doesn’t want him to “accidentally” kill someone else. She also revealed that she doesn’t know if he was the only doctor giving Michael drugs, but she’s confident that the truth will come to light soon.
Her new compilation album, Number Ones, is in stores today and her big ABC interview will air tomorrow night at 9 PM.

Snoop Dogg … oh, excuse us … Calvin Broadus rang the opening bell Monday morning (Nov 16) at the NY Stock Exchange in New York City. With his pimp suit on and everythang!
He was a panelist at New York’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, which is part of the 2nd annual “Mentoring Madness,” an organized event that focuses on mentoring young entrepreneurs and exposing them to the business world. During the panel discussion, the 38-year-old rapper dropped some knowledge on the young people in the audience.
“If you stop at general math, you’re only going to make general math money,” he said.
And the former Crip gang member isn’t just talking to hear himself speak. Home boy knows what he’s talking about. He reportedly excelled in Calculus while in high school.

Last night at London’s Brixton Academy, pop singer Rihanna performed her very first live concert since her February 8th altercation with Chris Brown. Performing a 45-minute set of hits and new songs from her forthcoming album Rated R, Rihanna was joined by Jay-Z and Young Jeezy as she helped Nokia launch their new X6 cell phone. The concert was streamed live worldwide via the Internet.
She emerged on stage in an eye mask and studded leotard to perform a selection of new songs and hits like Take A Bow. Jay-Z made his surprise appearance for the finale, performing his recent hit, Run This Town, and Rihanna’s Umbrella. Several members of the audience, made up of competition winners, held aloft umbrellas during the song in an unorthodox moment of crowd participation.
The 45-minute show kicked off with two songs from Rihanna’s new album – Wait Your Turn and Russian Roulette. Slow-burning and dramatic, they set the tone for a concert where many of the star’s hits were reinvented with distorted guitars and dark, pulsing synths.
The set-list included fan favourites such as Don’t Stop The Music and Disturbia, while Rihanna was also joined by rapper Young Jeezy for Hard, a track which is set to be the second single from her new album.
