The season finale of “American Horror Story: Coven” aired on FX last night, and the new supreme has FINALLY been revealed!

Fiona’s death in episode 12 forced Cordelia to schedule “The Seven Wonders,” a dangerous and life-threatening test to determine who the next Supreme of the Coven is.

But before the test Myrtle will make one last attempt to unite the divided girls at Miss Robichaux’s Academy by hosting a final dinner.

Whether the last meal together is successful or not, Cordelia is bent on seeing change in the Coven with the rise of a Supreme who “can lead the way out of an era of strife and chaos, towards repair and rejuvenation.” But before things can get better, the Coven must begin the “Seven Wonders” trials.

Compared to most shows, the popular FX anthology series known as “American Horror Story” is unique, in that each season tells a totally new story.

The third season of the show, “American Horror Story: Coven,” is all about oppression, specifically of minorities and it tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America.

From FX:

Over three hundred years have passed since the turbulent days of Salem and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves.

Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe, who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona, the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way.
