timbaland-keri-sorry

The hit book series “He’s Not That Into You” warned women to keep their eyes peeled for signs that they might be more interested in their guy than he is interested in them. But Timbaland could stand to catch up on the series and learn a thing or two about how to not look like the pressed cheerleader chasing the star high school quarterback.

Apparently, after Timbaland’s tracks from Blueprint 3 leaked, Jay and Timbo the King started to walk separate paths. Jay-Z touched on the strained relationship in an interview with Diddy’s Revolt TV.

“The fall-out happened at the end of that album,” Jay said. “A couple of songs was getting leaked and they were his songs, and it just ruined the whole process… Kanye, who was executive producer of ‘Blueprint 3’ was like, lets get Tim, let’s bring Tim in, and we were all inviting of him and he just wasn’t accepting of the process.”

But since then, the two have patched things up and Timbaland was able to contribute to Jay’s latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Mending fences between old friends is great and all, but Timbaland took the extra step of putting his “apology” into song. And he roped in Keri Hilson who supposedly issues a mea culpa for that whole Beyoncé diss thing from the “Turnin’ Me On” remix. But she’s not really apologizing because she’s still claiming that her “diss” wasn’t about Beyonce. Bitch, please.

“I got this one song that I did with Keri on my album called ‘Sorry,’ and Keri actually tells the story about the whole Beyoncé thing and how she was sorry about it because she wasn’t really talking about Beyoncé but other people,” says Timbaland. “The hook says, ‘I think this business make a ni**a do strange thangs…’ All I wanna say, why can’t a ni**a can’t say sorry? Why can’t a ni**a just tell another ni**a sorry? It’s deep.”

If this isn’t the most self-deprecating, cow-towing, bitch-ass shit I’ve ever read in my life….I guess Timbaland must really take Jay’s “Hova” nickname seriously because he’s essentially bowing before his Lord and crying for mercy.

Man, suffer a few flops and your self-respect completely goes out the window.
