Alicia Keys Speaks On What Her Husband Swizz Beatz Has Taught Her
In a recent video with OWN for “Oprah’s Master Class,” Alicia Keys opens up about her husband Swizz Beatz telling us she just knew it was meant to be.
“I really learned what everyone meant when they said ‘You know when you know’ when I met my husband,” Keys says of Swizzy. “I never knew what that meant and it sounded to me like some weird kind of slogan.”
She went on to say… “He’s just like, such an incredibly, crazy, spontaneously, full of life, like, person … He’s just bubbling over with life. I’ve never met a person like him, ever. Few of us are able to be that free, to just follow our life, just follow it and know it’s going to lead you where you’re meant to go. So he’s definitely taught me a lot about freedom and being open to life and how it’s going to happen.”
Swizzy and Alicia have been married for 2 years and also have a 2-year-old son named Egypt, who is one of the cutest babies in Hollywood, not to mention he has his mother’s looks, and his father’s swag.
Last month in an interview with Wendy Williams, Alicia mentioned that she is interested in having more kids, but we have to give her a second. The Grammy Award-winning singer needs at least 2 more years to get things done, touring being one of them.
Alicia has a tour called “Set The World On Fire” scheduled, which kicks off March 7th in Seattle, Washington with R&B singer Miguel. The 19-city trek will also stop in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, and New York City before wrapping up on April 18th in Chicago.
