While most of us were sleeping after a hearty Thanksgiving meal, many folks were busy scrambling for the latest and greatest doorbuster deals on that unofficial holiday that retailers all love: Black Friday.

Everyone loves a good deal but seeing the insanity that comes with Black Friday is making us consider what America stands for as a country. This kind of consumerism HAS to be a sin, right?

Take this stunning video footage from a Walmart in Moultrie, GA. When the staff rolled out the pallet with the Android smartphone doorbuster deal, people RIPPED the packaging and clawed each other to get their hands on the devices.

What on earth? We MIGHT be able to understand if they were giving out iPhone 5’s for $0.25 but c’mon now. This is too much. AT&T is GIVING away top of the line smartphones for free with two-year contracts. There’s no need for all this.

Then there was the all-out turf war that broke out over flatscreen TVs somewhere in retail hell. A large woman was clinging to two boxes of flatscreen Seiki TVs (never heard of ’em) when some sneaky shoppers tried to snag one of them away.

Mama don’t play dat and she let that shit be known.

Watch what happened when Black Friday got really real in the streets here:

In Kansas, female shoppers went mad for a Victoria’s Secret special. The crowd got restless and began shoving violently as the store prepared to open.

What the hell was going on? Was it a buy 1 thong get 3 giveaway or something? Who gets buck over lingerie?

Is Black Friday really worth all of the physical assaults, threats on your life and lack of sleep?
