More drama in the life of Honey Boo Boo Child! America’s favorite little pageant girl received a letter from none other than animal advocates PETA after deciding to name her new pet chicken “Nugget.”

Although it is apparent on her reality TV show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” that Alana loves eating chicken nuggets, we can’t help but laugh at PETA’s ridiculous outreach to the 7-year-old.

In the letter acquired by E! News, director of communications Michelle Cho “delicately” encourages Honey Boo Boo to change her pet’s name to “Not a Nugget” (LOL) and schools her on how scientists believe chickens can be good at math, among other “interesting” facts.

“As I’m sure you are learning from your chicken,” Michelle writes, “chickens are smart, interesting animals with personalities of their own. Scientists agree that chickens have good memories, and they can even learn basic math skills.”

word?

Michelle insisted that Alana goes forward with the name change to send the message to her fans that they should not be eating chicken. As an added bonus, she threw in a “not a nugget” t-shirt with a picture of a chicken.

Okay, PETA… remember Glitzy, the consolation prize tiara-wearing pig that once belonged to Alana? After realizing they could not care for him, the family returned the piggy to its breeder and he did NOT become the bacon in Alana’s breakfast.

So please…RELAX and go check if Kim Kardashian is wearing fur at her next event.
