Country singer Hank Williams Jr. — who infamously compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler last year — is back to his tired antics of bashing our president in public forums.
This is what the professional redneck country singer had to say about President Obama at the Iowa State Fair last Friday, according to the Des Moines Register:
“We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!”
Hank’s controversial comments went over well with the crowd, which responded with with “loud” and “enthusiastic” cheers.
When reached for comment Saturday, an Obama campaign rep in Iowa said in an email:
“That type of absurd nonsense doesn’t really deserve a response.”
