Chad Johnson Arrested for Domestic Violence After Head Butting Evelyn Lozada

NFL star Chad Johnson was arrested on domestic violence charges in Florida Saturday night following a physical altercation with his new wife Evelyn Lozada, in which he allegedly head butted her.

According to multiple confirmed reports, the newlyweds got into a heated argument on their way home from dinner after Evelyn confronted Chad about a receipt she found for a box of condoms.

When they arrived in the driveway of their home in Davie, FL (outside Miami), Johnson allegedly head butted Lozada, she told police. (Johnson’s side of the story is that they “accidentally knocked heads.”)

Lozada, who stars on the VH1 reality show “Basketball Wives,” was treated at a hospital for a cut to her forehead, police said.

Johnson, who is a receiver for the Miami Dolphins, was hauled off to the Broward County Jail, and police say he could possibly have to wait until Monday to see a judge. He was charged with simple battery, domestic violence, which is a misdemeanor.

Chad and Evelyn just got married last month in Miami, and their new reality show together “Ev & Ocho“ — a spin-off of “Basketball Wives” — is set to premiere in September.

    She had to know that fidelity was the last thing on his mind. In fact, I think the men marry those type of women because of the way they carry themselves– provocatively. The belief of the men is, I will marry this attractive woman even though I know she only wants me for my status(more of a business venture) but she’ll stay because she wants the prestige and I can do what I want. Women learn that you have to have more than beauty and more than how often you will sex them to keep them faithful. I don’t proclaim to know what men want but it is obvious its more than good looks and more than sex
