Rihanna Attends Her “GranGran” Dolly’s Funeral in New York [PHOTOS]

A very somber-looking Rihanna was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City this past Friday (Jul 6) on the way to her grandmother’s funeral service in Brooklyn.

Wearing a dark blue dress and her hair up in a bun, the 24-year-old singer was visibly upset as she walked hand-in-hand with her assistant Jennifer.

Rihanna’s grandmother Clara “Dolly” Brathwaite, affectionately known to the Pop superstar as “GranGran,” passed away last weekend after suffering a longtime battle with cancer.

An emotional Rihanna tweeted shortly after the funeral:
