Nicki Minaj believes that her friend Drake is innocent, in regards to the (alleged) fight he had with Chris Brown earlier this month that resulted in several injuries, shut down two nightclubs and left one without a liquor license.

Nicki — who just found out this week that her latest album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” was certified platinum by the RIAA — was asked about Drake’s involvement in the much talked about nightclub brawl in an interview with UK radio personality Tim Westwood, and she unsurprisingly stood by her YMCMB labelmate, telling Westwood:

“He did nothing wrong, of course. Rumors are rumors, but I told him to remember who you are … I don’t approve of talented people doing things that aren’t conducive to an amazing career. So, I spoke to Drake, and I told him from the bottom of my heart how I felt. I’m like, ‘Baby, you are a superstar, and I need you to realize that.’”
